Peace, fam. DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. Listen, it's Tuesday and I'm having fun with this. I'm loving the fact that every day I'm getting better and better, right? I am practicing the things I'm about to share with you guys in the 5-day trading challenge. Today I just want to quickly share how I got $1,700 in 10 minutes. It's important for you to know that I'm only sharing this information because I want to encourage whoever sees this to be able to imagine themselves having the ability to learn how to read a chart and understand when to get in a trade and get out of a trade for quick profits so that you can stop trading so much time for money. Now I know some of you guys sitting back and you know you can't help it and it's just in your spirit and you think I might be Listen, man, I'm from Oakland, and I grew up with people who got a lot of love, but I also grew up with a lot of haters. And I know across this country, people will look at you and get jealous, right, or envious, and start to try to downplay what you're doing, or want to try to come after you. I know the hyenas is watching. I just want y'all to know, this is online money. So you might as well go on and rob a bank, right? Don't— you don't need to come for me unless I send for you. Because, you know, this is not the old school days when we running around, you know, with brown paper bags. It's online money. But the reality is, is that, you know, of it is I'm trying to help the people. I'm trying to help people understand that there are ways to tap into the financial market that existed long before we got here and will be here long after we're gone. There are opportunities if you can understand— that is the key— understand the language, understand what is happening, and get your piece of the pie. You've heard the conversation about the American pie. This is a big pie, and We're taking crumbs off the plate that ain't nobody gonna be missing, but will be very beneficial to you, right? $1,700 is nothing with the billions of dollars being transacted right now, but that helps me, right, in my household and my family be able to leverage and do something, you know, more, or, uh, just be able to not feel like I don't have to be away from the house for so long to go earn some money. And this is why this skill is super important to me. And this is why I wanna share, show you how to get it done. So come on in. Now you're getting to this trade as it's already in motion. I was getting prepared for a meeting I got coming up. I was listening to the news and I just got in the trade. I hadn't hit the record button from the beginning, but I put you into the trade and I'll break down to you exactly how it happened. So come on and check it out. Okay, so about 8:02 in the morning, and I'm really bringing you guys in at the end of this trade in all transparency. As you can see right here, there was a lot of, uh, downward movement in the last 15, 20 minutes. I was busy listening to, uh, the Fed, uh, talk about the economy, and the market just started to just go down. And so I got into this trade and I was listening, and I actually forgot to hit the record button. So I got in here, um, around $21.98, and this would be the— I think the second trade I was in. And so you can see now it's down to $21.90. So I just been following and trailing along. Uh, just capturing points along the way. And I was actually down this morning around this area around here where the market was like choppy. See these wicks? Um, I ended up making a bad decision and getting in and so losing a couple of points. You know, one of the things that— and so I just got stopped out. And you know, stopped out means when you have a limit set and it stops you out. So let's go back and see what I got here. So $1,700 for the day. Got into the trade at 7:53. And I got out at 7:56. Then I got back in a trade at 7:57 and got out at 8:03. And so basically the magic happened around these bars, these candles right here. And so that is pretty much, uh, how a trading day can go. You can be sitting up in here where when the market opened around 6:30, it was very choppy. These wicks tell a story, tell you how choppy it was. And then right here at 7:35, we started to see the market turn. And so I wanted to give it time to confirm itself. And once I got some confirmation, I seen some momentum, I was able to get in and capture that movement. Exciting stuff, you guys. And this is why it's important to become an EIDAY trader. And so now I'm done for the day. And the real— the strategy here when it comes to becoming a trader, an EIDAY trader, is to have your emotions in place, your mental right, and believing in what you know about this trading game. So basically, there you have it. I was able to grab $1,700 by sitting and waiting on the right play. Now, I took a trade prior to that and it didn't work out for me, and so I was down a few hundred, which means that I could, I could have been up even more. But the strategy of becoming an emotional intelligence day trader, right, EI Day Trader, is to be able to leverage your emotions so that you learn to trade with logic and not emotions, because this is an emotional game. So if I had not understood the possibilities of the market today, then I would have just, uh, settled with the loss that I had earlier, or I would have been frustrated and got mad and started what they call revenge trading, right? And that's something that you don't want to do. And revenge trading is when you start trading in your feelings, and that's the fastest way to lose for the day. So we're up $1,700. I was listening to the news, I'm listening to the Fed's talk. I can feel, you know, what direction at least the index that I was on might be going. I waited and I made my move. And this is why I'm so excited about what I'm about to share with you guys. Now, if you don't know, if you haven't been following me, or if it's the first time you've seen this, Today is the last day to sign up for the early bird enrollment. And what does that actually mean?
