Peace, fam. DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. The thing I want to talk about this morning is time. I think time is our most valuable asset, but the thing that's least respected. I think the main reason why you would want to consider learning the skill that I'm offering, because it will allow you to make more money in less time so that you're free to do more of the things things that you love day in and day out. Think about 14 minutes. Think about what you have done in the last 14 minutes and think about what your next 14 minutes is about to be. And I want to challenge yourself, how much work can you get done and how much will you be compensated for? Well, I'm going to show you as an EIDAY trader the possibilities. I'm going to show you what I just did in 14 minutes. $935. Just come on in, let me make it make sense for you. Okay, good morning. It's about 6:43 in the morning and we are about 13 minutes into the trading day. And so today, um, I decided to follow the market as it sells off, uh, and within the first half hour. This type of trading is pretty much straightforward, right? You wait to see which direction the market is going And you take an opportunity to capture small profits along the way. And when you get good at capturing small profits, you end up with bigger profits over a period of time. And so as you can see here, this is the 6:30 candle, and it opened and it started pushing down, but I was very leery about the first candle just because of the high volatility and it wasn't giving me a straight signal. The next candle did almost the same thing. It opened here, but then it ran up back and reversed. And so this wick shows that the reversal means that it went up before it came back down, and I wasn't liking that. So I waited until the second candle— I mean, the third candle formed. I figured by then the momentum would be happening. So you can see I got in at $21.47. Right now it's at $21.42. So you know what that means? It is scalping time. So I'm going to scalp and come down and grab some of these points. I'm going to go to, let's say, 2144. Let me go to 2144. I like to try to stay a couple of points behind in a trade while it's doing its thing because I want to stay in as long as possible, but I also want to capture my points along the way. Because there's new candles forming, you never know which direction it's going to go. Uh, right now it's at 2140, I'm at 2143. Uh, it looks like it's going to keep pushing, so I'm going to go ahead and capture a little bit more points. I'm going to go ahead and go to at least 2142. And again, you could swoop right in and just— you see it's at 2141 now— you could just swoop right in and just get as close as possible. Um, but I tried to leave just a little bit of breathing room just in case the, uh, it's going to keep going. But if it reverses, I want to maximize my profit. So it looks like it's going to reverse, and it just did. So what do we do? We go to our positions and we see that we got $935. Okay, so let's put this in perspective. So we got into the trade at $631. Got out at 6:45, which is a total of 14 minutes. In 14 minutes, I was able to make $935. I was trading 3 contracts on the Russell 2000. Each one of those contracts were worth $50. The magic of the trade happened at, uh, on this 3rd candle. I got into this candle after I watched what these 2 candles did. Made my decision, and now I'm done for the day. And so there you have it. That's the lifestyle that we're promoting. I want to encourage you to develop a skill that allows you to get up in the morning, look at a chart, identify the best time to get in and get out, make a profit, and then you get on about your business for the day. And all you have to do is put into perspective— think about a 14-minute window of time. And how much work can you get done, and how much are you compensated for that work? And we have to change our mindset on how we're able to earn money so we can maximize our experience in this life and do more of the things that we love.
