Peace, fam. DB Bedford here, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. I'm so excited about this brand new group, the EI Day Traders, because this is where I'm able to leverage emotional intelligence into the financial markets and show you how to create the ultimate side hustle. That's what I like to call this. Starting a day trading business is the ultimate side hustle because you have the ability to earn income Without having to really go out and try to sell anything to anybody, provide any service. All you have to do is have your intellect in place, right? Have your emotions intact and be able to apply pressure to these strategies that I'm going to show you real soon. A lot of you are asking, when are— when is that happening? I can't give you a date just yet. I scheduled it out for 2022. It might happen a little bit sooner. I'm going to do is create, for starters, a 5-day trading challenge calling it the Ultimate Hustle. And this will give you an opportunity to see if day trading is for you. Day trading is risky, right? But with great risk comes great reward. So I'm excited to be able to share this to you. But for now, I want to show you this trade. This trade was magnificent, how $2,000 $355 can be made before breakfast. Come on in, let me show you the trade. Okay, so it is, uh, 7:09 right now, and I decided to get back in a trade again. I'm trying to catch the momentum as the market is going back up. And again, one of the things we love about, you know, day trading, uh, is the ability to catch prices as they're going up or going down. And so, you know, my first attempt at catching the market going up, the market did reverse on me. So it set me back $45, which is off of the, you know, the first— what was that, $285 that I made? So it went back a couple of points on me. And so we're going to see what happens here. I am up a point right now. Uh, when it comes to this particular trade, I came in at 2275. It is at 2277.5, so I do have time to scalp and reclaim, uh, what was taken from me earlier, what I gave back. So let's go to 2276. Let's lock that profit in and get back ahead of the game. And so now we're going to follow this, uh, all the way up. So right now we're trailing behind the market movement on the Russell 2000 as it moves up a couple of points during the, the trading period. It's about 7:11 in the morning, and so I already captured one point. I'm going to go ahead and capture my second point. So I'm gonna go up to 2278. I'm gonna get real— I'm gonna get right behind this thing just because I want to lock in those profits. We're still in a good space here. As you can see, uh, the market is still moving. It's 7:13, so we're 3 minutes into this candle. Which is always a good sign when the candle is solid and moving in a direction, because these are 5-minute candles, which means the next candle, we don't know where it's going to open up at. Okay, and so that's why we capture profits along the way. So we're at $2,278.20. We came in at $2,275. Now I'm going to go up and I'm going to go in and get $22.79. I'm gonna go ahead and just stay a point behind because as this moves, we don't know when the sellers are gonna come and go, which buyers, what y'all think y'all doing, right? And so they will come in in a heartbeat and start to dominate. So we are just going to stay real close. We in the game, we, we part of this party, you know what I'm saying? So it's at $22.81 again. I'm gonna come real close. I'm gonna capture whatever profits I can, right? along the way, because, you know, I don't know when this thing is going to turn around. But this is an example of the trading. This is how trading goes, right? This is day trading 101. What, what feels good about this though, you look at the— you look at the, uh, what they call— this is called the histogram. This is called the MACD. These signals all pointing up. Look at the volume. The volume is there. All this is good indicators that this trade may continue to go up, but you never know when it's going to reverse. It's at 7:14 right now, which means that the next candle, right, we would like for it to open and continue the direction, but it might not. And that's always the tricky part. So when you're in the middle of a trade, right, you just— what you do is you just hoping that it continue to go know, go the direction, but hope is not a strategy. So what we anticipate is that the market will continue the flow and direction that is going, and while that is happening, we are capturing along the way. I keep saying that because it's very important when you're day trading. There are a lot of people who have different strategies. There are some people who day trade where they just come in at the beginning of the day and they get out before the day ends. And so they just let the market do what it do. We are scalpers, so we're going to try to capture ours. We're going to get, you know, we're going to get in where we fit in. And so you see right now how the market is starting— is acting like it want to start reversing, right? Which means the sellers is like, hold up, swole up, like, y'all, y'all doing too much. But we already captured 5 points already, so we just gonna kick back and wait and see what happens. Because we never know when the market is going to turn around. And even if you get into a trade and it turns around on you, then you just minimize because that's the important thing about it. You know, learning this game, you're going to take a loss, right? But it's what kind of loss are you going to take? That is the key to it. And can you minimize your loss and maximize your profits? That's where the skill set come in at because people will say all the time, oh, you can lose money. You of course you can lose money doing. anything, right? Everything we do, we have a— there's a risk of losing money. Managing those risks, risk management is going to be very important in what we're doing here. Risk management is the key to it. Let's minimize, you know, those losses and maximize those gains. So we're still into this trade. So we got, you know, so far so good. We haven't got stopped out. I will— if this thing Gives me a little bit more breathing room, I'm gonna try to get up and get that 2281. I'm gonna try to get that last point, uh, before this thing changes its mind. I said we have a little action, right? Because we got the volume here, you know, this MACD is stretched out, okay? So the— in, in the histogram, you know, the everything is pointing that this may continue to push up. So we just gotta wait and give it time. And this is a pretty much a, a pretty decent trade right now. You know, and it's not even 7:30 in the morning. So, you know, when I make those little posts, I'll be like, this much money before breakfast. This is what gets me excited, you know? All right. Now I told you, if this thing get this $2,282, I was going to get a little bit more. So $2,280. So I'm gonna go ahead and capture $2,281, right? I'm gonna make it even. So since I came in at $2,275, I'm gonna make all my moves even. Oh, wait a minute. Look at this right here. $2,283.40. You know what? I think I want to go to 2282. I think I want to— I just want to— I think I'm gonna grab a point every chance I get right now. What is so cool about that? I'm trading 3 contracts at $50 a pop, so every time I make a move, that's $150. And, uh, you know, we're still— we're just still following along. It hasn't stopped us out yet. You know, we have our stop at, uh, 2282. And so it hasn't failed back to that price yet. You know, if it goes to $22.84, I'm going to jump in there and grab a little bit more profits, you know, but we're just following the trade. You know, we're, we're, we're all good, you know, this morning. Today we can already consider this a good morning because those— the style and the way that I trade, I would say that This is probably the only trade I'm going to be in for the day. Another thing— so one of the things I'm going to teach you is that when you have your good trade and you capture your profits, then you'd be done for the day. Because in this game, it is very easy to start looking for more trades, trying to get more money. But we want to do this in a way where we are just stacking our profits Right, uh, continuously. And when we look back over the week or over a 2-week period or over the month, and we want to be able to say that we have way more profitable days than we have days that we wasn't profitable. So, you know, we're at $2,291 right now. We're just kind of waiting it out. The candles are about to change. It's, uh, 7:39. So this candle is about to end. And start a new candle. So, you know, ideally we would love for it to keep pushing, you know, keep pushing and inching itself up. And, you know, we would just continue to follow along in case it reverses out. And what do we mean by reversal? Is when the market decides to turn around, when whoever is dominating— There we go. So that's the stop out. So we've been in this trade for, for some time now. Let's see what the profits are. Oh. You got it, $2,355. Come on now. But by 7:40 in the morning, let's look at the positions. Let's look at the activity real quick, right? So there's a lot of activity, but we're going to focus on right here. This all that matters this morning. We got in this trade at 7:08. At 22:75, and we got out of this trade at 7:40. That's 32 minutes. 23:55 and 32 minutes. So there you have it. So I want you to keep in mind, trading is risky and you will lose money, but the training program I'm putting together is going to show you how to minimize those losses and maximize those gains. I'm not promising you you're going to make the type of money that you see me make or others make. What I do promise you is that I'm going to give you a skill. I'm going to teach you how to fish. I'm not going to feed you fish. This skill cannot be taken away from you, and you can use it to earn income for the rest of your life. And that is why I call it the ultimate side hustle. Appreciate you guys staying tapped in. DB Bedford, the EI Guy, bringing you that emotional intelligence both personally and professionally. And we're using EI to leverage to earn profits inside of the financial markets. I'll see you on the next one. Peace.
