In this short motivational video, the presenter continues a multi‑day series on emotional wellness. After briefly revisiting the previous day’s focus on emotional willpower and prompting viewers to reflect on how they managed emotional impulses, the speaker introduces the concept of emotional capacity as the daily “bandwidth” of energy we have available. Using car‑fuel and check‑engine‑light analogies, the speaker illustrates that even a fully charged morning does not guarantee unlimited stamina, especially when residual stress from prior days drains the tank. The check‑engine light metaphor signals when our emotional capacity is dwindling, leading to irritability, poor decision‑making, and ineffective communication. The video urges viewers to monitor their own energy levels over the next 24 hours, observe the emotional states of people around them, and recognize the signs of low capacity. Finally, the presenter reminds the audience to complete a short quiz and return for Day 3, reinforcing the habit‑building approach to resilience and growth.

All right, welcome back. Day 2, you made it. Okay, small wins, right? Small wins create momentum. Okay, so we talked about emotional willpower yesterday, and, you know, ask yourself, how did you do? Did you notice any conversations, any level of engagement? You seen something on TV, something that gave you the urge to maybe be negative, to be a little aggressive, and were you able to resist that? Yeah, I did. You know, your kids got on your nerves, your husband or wife said something slick. You know, it's a lot of things that could annoy us. How did you do with that emotional willpower? Did you notice it in somebody else? Okay, so we're gonna move forward, and today we're talking about emotional capacity for day 2. Emotional capacity is basically the bandwidth, right, that we have every single day. And a lot of us get irritated throughout the day because we don't understand That you only have so much energy for the day. I mean, you only can take so much for the day. And the strategy here is to understand that if you wake up every day and you own the fact that you know you only have so much energy for the day, then you'll be mindful of who you give your energy to. So your emotional capacity is basically that bandwidth, right? How much you could take in one day. And I always like to use an analogy by saying, you know, even if you got up every day, And when you go get to your car, if your car had a full tank, you still could not drive, you know, 600 miles without having to get some more gas, correct? So even when you wake up and you're feeling your best, you still got to know you only got so much energy for the day. But most of us don't wake up with a full tank of gas, if you will, right? Because we are carrying things from the, from the day before. So Being mindful of your energy level is a great strategy when we're talking about emotional wellness. And a way to be mindful of that is to understand that you only have so much capacity for the day. If you're anything like me, right, you ever had a check engine light come on in your car? And I always think about when my check engine light came on, I would, as long as my car still started, right, I'd still get in that car and keep going. And, but the check engine light is there for a reason. It's there to tell you that something is wrong, right? And you usually don't take it into the shop until it breaks down, until it doesn't move anymore. Well, I like to say a lot of us every day, we have our own check engine lights. And that's when you're irritated, when you're frustrated, when you seem to be in a bad mood for no reason. Consider that your check engine light. That is another indicator, right, that, you know, your capacity is shrinking down. And why is this important? Because if you step into the day, right, on that low vibration with low energy and you're already irritable, it's going to have a direct impact on how you make decisions, how you deliver information, and how you process information. So for day 2, I want you to really sit with this emotional capacity. I want you to think about what it means to only have so much energy for the day. I want you to monitor your energy levels for the next 24 hours. And I also want you to pay attention to those around you. And see if you can kind of tap in and get an idea with how much energy they are operating off of. Okay, then we'll come back tomorrow for day 3 and we'll continue this process. But this is, you know, these are some very important steps, right? So I'll see you tomorrow and make sure you take that short quiz and be prepared to be here tomorrow. Again, I'll be here the same time tomorrow that you checked in today. Peace.
