Emotions work like fire: they warm and nourish when controlled, but burn down your health, money, and relationships when you play with them. Treat emotional shifts like smoke detectors and respond early with awareness instead of letting them rage out of control.

Why have you always been told not to play with fire? Because when fire is mishandled, it will teach you a valuable lesson. Fire can mess around and burn a house down. Fire will give you degrees of a burn on your skin. Like, fire can make things very hot for you, pun intended. But on the flip side, When fire is handled correctly, um, it has benefits, right? Fire can keep you warm. Um, fire can help you put food on the table. And so my point that I'm making is that emotions are just like fire. See, emotions, if they're mishandled, they can be detrimental. Emotions will make you say or do things that can be very, very, uh, have degrees of detriment to your life. But when you know how to handle your emotions and respond to them correctly, it could be of great benefit. It can strengthen relationships. It can help you take quantum leaps in your life, make you feel good each and every day. And you know, and when you feel good, you do good. So what I want you to do is not play with your emotions. I want you to not act like emotions don't matter, like they don't count. There's a very good reason why there are fire departments, smoke detectors, and fire alarms, because where there's smoke, there's fire, and you would be foolish to ignore it. So look at your energy when it shifts As a, like a smoke detector. It's something it's signaling to be concerned that your emotions are in the process of flaring up, and I want you to distinguish those emotions as soon as possible. And you can do that obviously by practicing emotional intelligence. Stop ignoring the fact that emotional intelligence is directly related. To how you experience life, how you perform in life, how far you go in life will have everything to do with your emotions. Just think about it. Think about the detriment to your health when you are emotionally eating, right? Or the detriment to your finances if you're emotionally spending. The challenges in your relationships if you are emotionally charged and overreacting to things. That you can simply discuss, because every disagreement is not an argument. And just like you was taught not to play with fire, I strongly encourage you not to play with emotions, and especially the emotions of others.
