This is why emotional intelligence is so important. Live in real time, Castro Valley. These 2 drivers are engaging back and forth because somebody went— somebody took too long at the metering light, and this thing could end up very dangerous. I'm gonna try to skip by before this person— not paying attention. But look at this. Look, look at this. Look how ridiculous this is. And that's how fast you can get caught up with your emotions. They are still back there going back and forth. So either one of them could have went on about their business by now. They are putting so much energy, and all it was is one person got in front of the metering light before the other. And I see how road rage incidents end up happening in real time. Only thing that happened in that situation is that they let their emotions overpower their intelligence. One of them got kids in the car. And I had to come back on. They still at it. Now they chasing each other. So now the truck that just went by is chasing the gray car. I almost want to chase them to see what happened. And it's crazy because you can change the whole scope of your day by not practicing emotional intelligence, by not mastering emotional resilience. Man, I hope I don't see that on the news later on. And I must say, as, uh, as curious as I am to see how that ended, I got to make sure I fall back because another part of practicing emotional Emotional intelligence is letting go of my emotional desire, right, to see how this thing play out. I have to get back to safety, you know, and paying attention to the road. But as the EI guy, you know, it's kind of my duty to capture these moments, to use them as learning lessons. And I appreciate every opportunity to just show examples of why it's extremely important to never let our emotions overpower our intelligence.
