The Open-Minded Approach teaches you to enter conversations without judging right or wrong. Instead of categorizing experiences as good or bad, focus on understanding feelings and how you respond to them. This shifts you toward solutions rather than punishment.

Emotional intelligence in 60 seconds. I want to introduce you to something called the OMA approach, open-minded approach. And what this means is that when you step into any situation or conversation, you don't go in searching for right or wrong. You don't go in searching for good or bad. You search for understanding. I know that it's challenging because how most of us were raised, we were taught to look at things as good or bad or right or wrong, and then we want to punish someone because of that. Emotional intelligence teaches us to seek understanding so that we can move closer to the solution and farther away from the problem. It's okay to feel the feeling, feel how you feel, but just watch how you respond to your emotions. If you want to know more about how we do these strategies and apply them, go ahead and join us in the EI Ambassador Program at goienoworry.com. Peace.
