Real quick, I wanna introduce you guys to this old terminology. Uh, to put it in context, this is from, uh, the 1980s, I would imagine. Yeah, about mid-'80s, late '80s. Uh, we had this term that we used to call, uh, carhoppers, right? And so basically, a carhopper is someone who basically didn't have a car on the turf. They would wait for an opportunity for somebody to pull up who had a car Whether it was a Dauphine rental or a car of any type, and they would just hop in. They hop in the passenger seat. And so they would get identified as a car hopper, somebody that hops in and out of cars but normally doesn't bring anything with them. So they're not adding, they're not bringing a drink, they're not bringing the weed, they just occupying space. And then when you— sometimes you got to damn near drop them off. You got like, blood, I'm about to go over here and do something just to give a reason to drop them off, because that's how long they will stay in the car. And there was nothing wrong with it, just a phase in life, right? And then sometimes when they wear out, they may, you know, go to your ashtray, maybe want to grab a doobie out or something. Remember, this is the mid-'80s, late '80s, you know, or grab a, you know, something you didn't bought, a Pendleton. I'd be like, let me get this, or tape. They just, you know, they would take something. And so it's making me think about today's time, right? Like, uh, but they're not carhoppers today, right? These are people who just hop in and out of your life, right? They don't necessarily bring anything. Uh, at the time, they're not really having, you know, conversation that's beneficial for you. They just showing up when they want to, hopping in, hopping out, and then taking energy, information, um, things with them. And so I want you to be mindful of the carhoppers. So just like at some point you gotta look over at them and be like, hey, so what you about to do, man? Because I gotta run over here, right, to get them out the car. Sometimes you gotta look at the people who ready to jump into your life and you gotta look at them and be like, you know, what you about to do? Because I, I'm over here.
