In this solo vlog, the creator—who calls himself the “EI Guy”—walks viewers through a typical entrepreneurial day on August 1, 2022. He begins by filling his gas tank, reflecting on gratitude, and noting his $80‑plus fuel budget. He follows his morning routine of intermittent fasting, drops off weekend orders at the post office, and heads to Oakland Unified for a professional‑development training. After the session he drives to Monterey for a healthcare‑company training with Beta Healthcare, juggling a 5 p.m. Zoom coaching call for his EI Day Trader group en route. He shares a quick $224 day‑trading win, eats his first meal of the day, and wraps up the training. Throughout the vlog he emphasizes a mindset of “making things happen,” the flexibility of day‑trading from anywhere, and the emotional‑intelligence‑driven impact of public speaking—describing the feeling of connecting with strangers during a presentation. The narrative ends with a motivational reminder that how you finish matters more than how you start, encouraging persistence and self‑belief.

You know, gotta gas up and get ready for the day. So I was on basically on E, and so, you know, in today's time, you know what we looking like. So let's see where we at right now. Uh, we have about $80-something, you know what I mean? So, uh, but this is gonna last me all week because I, uh, usually go straight to and from where I need to be every day. So, you know, you do what you got to do and you make things happen. No complaining. But the way my mindset is set up is like, I don't gotta fill my gas tank I get to fill my gas tank up. It's just a blessing to be able to do so. All right, happy Monday, you guys. It's August 1st, 2022. It's about 9:53 in the morning. I decided that I would, uh, share what the day in the life of the EI Guy is like. And so, you know, I have a couple of things to do. You know, I'm about to pull up to the post office in a second and drop off the, uh, orders that happened over the weekend. And then I'm gonna head over to Oakland Unified to go do a training for professional development. Now this is pretty much my routine when I step outside for the day. One of the first places I hit up is the post office. I usually don't eat, um, before 12 o'clock because I do intermittent fasting, so I keep my little thing of water with me. Uh, it's very helpful to try to keep me from snacking in between time, and I'm about 90% accurate with it. For most days, um, I do not eat before 12 o'clock, so I like to do intermittent fasting. So let me just go in here and drop off these packages. All right, so pulled up to my location. So just, you know, got to get myself ready. I haven't called, uh, my Connect yet. I want to make sure that, um, Just kind of get myself situated, then I'm gonna send them a text, let them know I'm here. And so I have a lot of baggage today because I have 2 particular trainings. So this is for the training after this. After I leave here, I got to shoot to Monterey to do a training for a healthcare company. And so this one is for today, and normally inside of here I pack shirts and books For those that participate in the training. All right, so just wrapped up, um, training for the day. It was from like 12 to 3. So I'm in Oakland leaving school. There's a professional development day, so now I have to, uh, jump in traffic. It's like 3 o'clock, head to Monterey for a training with, uh, Beta Healthcare in the morning. So So, uh, this is, uh, next half of my day coming up. So I'm in traffic, uh, headed to Monterey. Been on the road about an hour or so. So the next thing I got up is I got a 5 o'clock call with my EI Day Trader group. We every Monday, we have a coaching call for those that are taking the coaching program, and we talk about their trades and how to improve it. I share some of my trading strategies, and so I'm gonna have to take this call on the road. Because I won't get to Monterey till about 5:30. So gotta multitask, take this call, this Zoom call, group coaching call, and handle that before I check into my room. All right, so I finally got to the room and checked in. A lot of traffic, it was a long day. As soon as I got to it, so I couldn't get the Zoom call to work while I was driving, so I had to postpone it for a second, get to the room. As soon as I got there, I had to hop on the call, finish it up with those that were available out of the group. Haven't eaten all day, so now it's, uh, probably about— it's about 7 o'clock, so I'm about to finally get my first, uh, my first meal, and, uh, then I'm gonna tap out. Gotta be to the training first thing in the morning. At 9, so I gotta get down for sound check around 8, make sure everything is rolling. So, uh, that's pretty much the day, uh, today's day, right? So got up this morning, had the post office run, got some gas. Very simple, right? Straightforward life of entrepreneur. Did the professional development training, got on the road. Been on the road for like 2, 2 and a half hours. Now I'm in Monterey. Jumped on a Zoom call for my AI Day Traders group. Yes. Now about to wind it down, get this meal in before 8 o'clock, tap out, get some rest, back at it again, and then shit, back to the house. The day in the life of the EI guy. Just wanted to share this as an encouraging moment, right? Isn't it? Doesn't matter how you start, it's how you finish. Never ever give up on yourself. Keep going, keep going, keep going. Listen, I'm not gonna lie to you. One of the things that I love about the ability to day trade is because you can do it from anywhere. And so as I get ready to go do a training shortly, I can set up my charts right and get ready to read the market. The bell is about to open in a few minutes. Watch a little bit of. CNBC or whatever news channel you want to gather the information that the market is sharing. Opening bell opens in a few minutes. The ability to understand what all this stuff means and understand what this chart looks like and ability to wait for an opportunity to get in, get out, and get on about my business today and take profits. And that opportunity happened this morning. So right before I go get Getting ready to go pack up to do my training. I was able to capture real quick $224 in about 9 or 10 minutes, and so I'm going to add that to my income for the day. Now I'm going to go downstairs and do some training. All right, so I'm up and at 'em. I've already been up once to go, uh, test my equipment. I had to come back to the room. And check on the charts real quick, and I'm done with that. So head up to the 10th floor to, uh, participate in this training for Beta Healthcare. Let's go. All right, so done with that training. It was beautiful. Nice scenic drive back to the house, take it all in. I usually ride for the first 20 minutes or so with no music, no anything, just kind of taking in an experience that I just had. So, you know, it is very hard to describe the feeling that you get after you present present to a group of people that you don't know, that are complete strangers, and by the end of your talk, they are drawn to you and want to share what they felt about what you said. And all of a sudden, you feel this connection, this human connection. It doesn't matter your background, where you come from. And to be that beacon of light and leveraging emotional intelligence to do so is It's a calling beyond measures. And that's why it's important to me to get in front of as many people as possible, because I enjoy that feeling, but most importantly, I enjoy what it does to others.
