Civility intelligence combines behavior observation, temperament theory, and emotional intelligence to manage workplace conflict in real time. It helps leaders recognize different personality styles and defuse incivility that tanks productivity.
So what is civility intelligence? Well, it is a combination of behavior observation, temperament theory, and EI code of conduct. It's one's ability to be able to observe, manage, and engage with adult behavior in real time, understanding that everybody has a different personality style. And so whether you like it or not, you want to be able to adjust and align and to be able to understand EI code of conduct, which are emotional intelligence principles that are designed specifically to neutralize incivility in the work environment. And so who is it for? It's for anybody who is leading a team, an organization, and at any time you notice that behavior is disrupting your productivity and your desired outcomes.
