Hey, good morning, Instagram. I typically do not post on here. I've done quite a bit of LinkedIn lately, but I really felt compelled to do so this morning. I'm about to get my third surgery on my shoulder pec in the past six months, so not ideal, but definitely have thought a lot about how to stay positive during tough times, and I wanted to share some of that with you guys. So really three things that have helped me. First is control what you can control and don't blame others. It's easy to go back and think he should have done this or she should have done that, or I should have went to that place or point fingers, but it's really not gonna get you anywhere. And you really just need to focus on the future and what you can control. Also being grateful for what you have. Yes, your situation may be tough, it may be challenging, and rightfully so, but it could be way worse. So every day I typically do a morning routine and part of that is going over things that I'm grateful for that I'll say out loud. And then lastly is sometimes when you have challenging situations, it really gives you perspective of what really matters, and it kind of prioritizes stuff that is important to you, where maybe in the past you were focused on stuff that didn't really bring you a ton of value. And that's definitely been the case for me with this situation and some exciting things to come. Hopefully, hey, maybe this will spark my motivational speaking career. We'll see. But just want to share that with you guys. Uh, hope you have a good rest of your week and wish me luck in the surgery. Go Dawgs!
