What's the first thing someone should do once they decide to start a business? The first thing I want you to do when you want to start a business is to make sure you're ready to start a business. A lot of us have this fascination about being an entrepreneur, being our own bosses, all good. But entrepreneurship is 5 times harder than we all think. So I want to make sure you are ready for that. Don't just leave your job because you hate your manager or you're not happy with what you're doing. I really want you to ask yourself this question. Am I ready to put the time, the effort? Do I have the resources? If the answer is yes, then proceed.
