Feras Alhlou recounts jumping out of a plane in high school and compares that rush to starting businesses. He's launched seven companies and uses a Richard Branson quote to argue that fear and action go together.
I parachuted when I was in high school, and I took the jump by myself without the instructor. When the airplane door opened, I freaked out, but I mustered enough courage, closed my eyes, and jumped. The feeling was surreal. It was both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. When taking the leap to start your business, you'll feel the same intense emotions. I've started 7 businesses to date, And they all always felt scary. If you hesitate, remember what Sir Richard Branson said, while the brave will not live forever, the cautious do not live at all.
