What is the biggest mistake companies make when using data? Don't treat data as absolute truth. The data by itself without context doesn't tell the story. Use data as a signal and get more context around that data. The more context you have about the data, the better insights you'll derive and the better decisions you'll make. The idea here is to build a culture that is data-informed, that we look at data, whether it's marketing data, Instagram, YouTube followers, engagement, where leads are coming from, where customers are coming from, and employee satisfaction. Satisfaction, customer satisfaction, all the key strategic areas of the business. I'm looking at that data and understand what happened and what is it that I can learn from it.
