Folks, hiring managers are not looking for experience. That's one thing to keep in mind. It's a misconception that many college graduates have. I don't have any experience, I'm not going to get a job. Folks, people are not going to hire you for experience because you don't have it yet. What they're looking for are some skills. So do an inventory of the things that you're good at, whether it was a sport or a hobby or an instrument that you played, whatever the case might be. Show commitment, show initiative, show that you have— you are easy to work with, that you are a team player. That's what people are looking for. Initially, and then obviously if you have a solid education, that's going to help.
