What was the biggest misconception you had when starting your first business? You think just because you're great and you have a great service, people are going to buy from you. My friends, that was so hard. It was so hard to sell. It was really, really, really hard to sell, especially since I didn't have any sales background when I started my first business. So, yes, I worked really hard. Yes, the service was needed at the time, but I had no idea how to sell it. I had no idea how to market it. I was even struggling to convince people that they need the service. I didn't even listen to the needs of the people that were in need of the service. So my recommendation is come into a business with this idea of a beginner's mind.
