Feras Alhlou walks through four ways to find your strengths and weaknesses: ask clients for feedback after projects, get honest input from people who know you, take reflective walks to spot patterns in what you do well and poorly, and use tools like StrengthsFinder to measure your talents.

Founders often ask me, how can we identify our strengths and weaknesses? I tell them to seek input, seek feedback from those who are around you. Number 1, send a survey out to your clients after each project that you complete. Number 2, ask your friends, ask your colleagues, especially those who care and those who know you really well. Number 3, put this phone away and go on a few walks and reflect on the last month, the last quarter, the last year, and think about all the ups and downs you had in the business and find and jot down common threads. And number 4, take advantage of one of the assessment tests out there, for example, StrengthsFinder, and identify the intensity of your talents as well as what you're good at.
