Gen Z employees need more guidance early on, but managers should gradually release them to work independently. Set up regular check-ins when they hit obstacles or tackle bigger tasks, then step back as they gain confidence.
If you're working with junior people, junior folks, naturally they would need more handholding, more support. But at one point also, you want to let go and have them do things on their own and then check with you, agree with them on a process where they check with you when they're stuck or when there's a bigger task, you know, they maybe check with you more frequently.
