I'm making $10,000 a month working 10 hours a day on my business. Should I start hiring? For me, it's always about hiring and growth. It's almost impossible to grow significantly without hiring, but it also depends on what you want. If you want to stay as a solopreneur because you don't want to hire employees and deal with people issues and build systems and deal with all the back office and operations, then stay where you are. Don't hire, especially as you gain expertise and you become and authority in your field, maybe even double or triple what you take home, but you will hit a ceiling. And when it's come time to exit, it'll be much harder to sell the business because it entirely relies on you. Now, if you're driven to scale, to grow, and to get bigger clients, then start hiring. And this means building systems, repeatable processes, and maybe even bringing a business partner who complements your skillset.
