I'm shocked by the number of opportunities that entrepreneurs waste and don't take advantage of. Recently, an advisor I know who charges a lot of money per hour was introduced to a young entrepreneur who needed help in the advisor's area of expertise. The advisor agreed to help with no charge. After the introduction was made, the advisor was kind enough to reply right away and say, hey, I'm happy to be of help. Here's my Calendly. Put some time on my calendar. It took this young entrepreneur 3 weeks to get back to the advisor. My friend, you're not leaving a positive impression on people who want to help you if you're not responsive.
