Feras Alhlou shares how consultants can support nonprofits without major sacrifice. Offer pro bono or heavily discounted services like marketing consulting, or volunteer your time directly to causes you care about.
As a consultant, what can I do for a good cause? You can volunteer time, maybe a few hours a week, on the weekend. If you can't contribute financially, offer time and effort from your area of expertise. If you're a marketing consultant, offer to do some marketing consulting for the cause or the nonprofit that you believe in at no charge, or maybe at a highly discounted rate.
