Why does no one talk about how crucial it is to have a plan? Because of 3 things. One, because you have this action over planning mindset. I'm all for execution. I'm all for action. Ideas are a dime a dozen and it's all about execution. But without a plan, who knows where you will end up? You must have a plan. 2, you hear all these success stories, especially on YouTube, and then you get into what I call survivor bias. That is success story highlighting breakthroughs and often neglect all the hard work and the strategic planning that went into these successes. 3, because of uncertainty and adaptability and that startups pivot, so many assume that rigid plans are pointless and will hold you back. So no one is saying to have rigid plans. Have a goal, have an objective, and set your eye on the prize, but between here and the goal, you can be very flexible.
