Only great things come out of networking. I was at a networking event the other day. I met Bill. He talked to me about his services. We might be interested for our own business, so we left it at that. But then out of this discussion, he thought of a friend of his who could benefit from our services, so he introduced me to them. I met with the founder, and now she has a proposal in front of her that she's reviewing. Bill also introduced me to a friend of his who's an accountant. She has 10 years of experience and And she just started her business about a year ago. I spoke with her at 3:00 PM yesterday. And then at 3:30, I had a call with a friend of mine who happened to be looking for an accountant. Guess what? I made an introduction, another benefit of networking. The same Bill, he introduced me to a networking group that he's part of. I attended the meeting. I spoke for a few minutes, met 8 people, 4 of whom are potential partners or people we can do business with, or they can refer business to us. I'm not saying that every time you go to a networking event, you'll meet a Bill, but there are a lot of Bills out there helping others.
