Feras Alhlou explains when side hustles actually make sense: covering a short-term cash need, pursuing a hobby on the side, or testing a business idea. Otherwise they distract from your main job and aren't worth it.
Yo, wanna make a couple of extra bucks on the side real quick? Never fall for this. Side hustles are not a good idea except in 3 instances. 1, if you need extra cash due to a circumstance, only short-term. 2, as a hobby that doesn't impinge on your day job. And 3, as a way to test an idea that you can eventually turn into a full-time business. But in all cases, They should never distract you from your main job and should be short-term or not take up significant amount of time or energy.
