I hated every minute of training, but I said, don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion. There will be a lot of ups and downs, not just in sales and marketing, but also in every aspect of the business. But that is the nature of the beast. Hard work, getting back up after you fall, resilience, and commitment is what it takes to build a profitable business. After all these years in business and several businesses and some exits and with a 4th-degree black belt in Aikido, I spent a lot of time on the mat learning and training both in business and in martial arts. The one quote I remind myself of is what Muhammad Ali said, I hated every minute of training, but I said, don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.
