Some pivotal events along my journey, how they impacted me and the lessons they taught me that no business book ever could. My close friends and I, we were the class clowns. None of us was really headed for greatness. I went to college, that clowning behavior continued. Then in my sophomore year, I was in Tulsa University and I met those friends. At that time, it wasn't funny. Something has changed. They were serious about studying, they were hustling, they each had set several goals for their own lives, and I was the only one coasting. They were such true friends that they conspired to have this painful, real talk that I wasn't gonna make it and nothing good will happen if I continue that behavior. And on the way home from this unexpected wake-up talk, I had this feeling that I had to do something different. And that night, I made a decision that I want to aim higher and do bigger things.
