How to deal with your horniness
29 Feb 2024 · 60 min
A conversational podcast episode (hosts: Francisco Javier “Frank” Ortega and Guy Jones) recorded Feb 29, 2024, focused on managing sexual desire from a Christian perspective. The hosts share personal struggles and victories, prophetic encounters and encouragements, and argue for reframing desire as a potential righteous impulse ("righteous horniness") when submitted to God and disciplined. Themes include vulnerability, mentorship/accountability, spiritual disciplines (ice baths, early rising, confession), biblical examples (Paul, Solomon, Jacob), critiques of legalism/condemnation, and an invitation to join a community for accountability.

And we got Christians out here trying to tell other Christians, hey, man, just, like, settle down, settle down, settle down. No, screw that, bro. Like, I'm not spilling my seed right now. There's a new level of tenacity inside of me. And guess what? I get to walk into every room with boldness, because why God put my feet there. And if he set my feet there, that's my room. If God put me in front of somebody, that's my conversation. He gave that.
A real man of God may fall seven times, but he gets up eight. So you just keep getting up after you fall. You keep moving forward. You keep putting your feet where you're led to put your feet in full faith, even when it doesn't seem like anything's breaking and anything's changing. That's how God can show up.
I love the Lord, and I love people that need the Lord.
I'm just tired of being fake. And if I got to be fake and I can't be real, the Bible says, confess your sin to one another. I love you. I honor you, man. You are like your fruit of the ministry, man.
Hey, welcome back to the Holy and Horny podcast, man. My name is Frank Ortega, and I got my brother God Jones here with me today. Guy, how you doing, bro?
Man, I am doing well. How about you, brother?
Doing phenomenal, brother. Doing phenomenal. Hey, for everyone listening right now, the topic for today, as you probably know by the title, Righteous Horniness, is going to be probably one of my favorite. I mean, I feel like every topic that we ever cover on here has been one of my favorites. But what I really like about this is me and Guy are just trying to be as real and as authentic as possible. And so that's going to include having conversations revolving around what we're currently walking through, right. And what we're currently experiencing. And so, Guy, why don't you. Why don't you kick it off with just kind of like what you've been experiencing this past week, or actually, it's probably been in the past two weeks if it's similar to, like, what I've been going through, too, you know, so jump on in, brother.
So, yeah, absolutely. And. And when we say just real, we just. We give you a lot of bro talk because we feel like we're talking to brothers when we're on here. And also, that doesn't discount the. The sisters that we talk to, too.
And.
And the only key to a solid relationship, and not the only key to a solid relationship, but what builds relationships is vulnerability, right? And being just honest even when it doesn't necessarily make you look good. So that's kind of where our growth has happened. And I'll just be real. This podcast helps me a lot. Talking about, navigating through these things helped me a lot. And so essentially I called Frank the other morning and I was just like the night before, I was dominated by my flesh. I mean, I'd gotten after at work all day, paid my price in the gym, paid my price, you know, just doing my morning studies and I'd done, I had done all the things that I need to do and get done and on my free time, my, my guy time, like winding down just look like reals and laying in bed talking it, talking to girls that are really not that interested in, but just wanting female attention. And, and, and I'm at the point where I don't want to be talking about struggles every week, but I want to talk about overcoming struggles. So it's like, yeah, we want to be authentic, but we also authentically want to grow in every area that we're talking about. So the next morning I woke up and I was feeling like, beat myself up and just feel like I, I lack self control. So I sat for 15 or 20 minutes and just navigated and argued with myself about getting an ice bath because it was cold outside and my flesh was still whooping me. So I'm like, man, I really don't want to get in it.
I feel like that's what it's the, the hardest, bro, when it's chilly outside and, you know, you got to get in cold. Oh, that's the most miserable time to do it. Which means that's when we need to do it right.
And that that ice bath kills the flesh. So what I've learned is, man, if I sit there and I navigate that conversation with myself, I'll always end up getting in it. But sometimes it takes longer than others. But then the rest of my day, I'm flying off endorphins, you know, dying to flesh and just overcoming that so that, you know, spurned me off in the right direction and then just calling Frank and be like, bro, this is what I'm going with. This is what I'm going through and dealing with. And I need some prayer, man, because I don't desire to be needing attention from anybody but my heavenly father and I, I desire to, to keep myself pure for my future wife and my future future family. And, and despite these desires I have, I know that there's such thing as righteousness, horniness, Righteous horniness.
Hey, at least that's what we're going to introduce, that vocabulary, right?
Right?
Yeah, bro. Thank you for sharing that, bro. And just for being honest like that, man. And whenever Guy reached out to me, it was cool because it's weird, bro. It's almost like kind of like we're twins. Like, what you're experiencing, I'm experiencing. You know? Like, I remember when we were on that high after. It was right before. And then after the launching pad event right? In January, and it was just like, bro, like, we just kept calling each other with, like, God story after God story after God story. And then things toned down a little bit on my end, and I noticed things toned down a little bit on your end at the same time. And then next thing you know, I get a text from you, like, you're struggling. I'm like, bro, I've been struggling. Like, I'm going through it, and I.
For.
For me, bro. Like, you know, and anyone listening right now, it's like, yeah, you know, one of the deepest desires of our hearts is. Is a wife. You know, it's what we all want. And it's not just to satisfy, like, our. Our desires. Right? But it's because I know for a fact, bro, that if 1. What's the word say if 1 will send a thousand, 2 will send ten thousand to flight is like, bro, the number one way to 10x your life is to get a woman of God next to you. That's just biblical. We can argue it however we want to argue it, right? But it's biblical. It's biblical. It'll do something for us as a man. And I'm like, okay, Lord, like, if what you've allowed me to build so far by myself has made impact, what would happen with a spouse connected to me? What would happen with the impact that we're having with this podcast already, Bro, if you had your girl, I had my girl. And let's just say we did a couple episodes together. That would be like 400x, bro. Like, that Kingdom math is just different. And so for me, that's been one of the things. And one of the prayers that I've been praying specifically is for God to remove the taste and of, like, lust out of me, like, off my tongue. Not to remove my horniness, but to remove the taste of lust specifically, right? Because here's the thing, bro. Like, I don't want anybody to ever know me and think that I'm, like, having thoughts about their wife, about the girl that they bring around. That's not what I want. That's not who I am. Right? And so for me, that's why getting freedom from. In this area, next level freedom, right? Not fake freedom. That is just like, oh, these are my victories. But genuinely walking in, like, victory. And the. The way that I imagine that is that forget being mission focused on what I'm building, but being just so obsessed with, like, the presence of God that I will go through hell or high water just to make sure that nothing disrupts the connection that I have with him. Like, bro, that's. That's been like, my desire. And I know that's your desire too, because I'm like, bro, like, I don't want to just be pure and righteous to get a wife. I want to be pure and righteous so that I can operate to the next level in the prophetic. So that everything that my hand touches will not just prosper, but be blessed. And that when I walk into a room, like, I carry the Lord's aura and aroma, not mine. Like, when I walk into the room, people can be. Would be like, holy smokes. Did I feel there's something on you? There's something on you. And that's. That's really why, like, I feel like God's taken us into this season, bro, where it's been. It's been a shift. It's been a shift. A really good shift. Not saying that we never wanted to experience freedom in this area, we always did, but I feel like there's a difference when there's an urgency, and I feel that urgency. Does that make sense?
Yeah, absolutely. Because it's the same thing I'm experiencing. And it is strange kind of how we do go through our lives, parallel each other. And I think that's because God put you specifically in my life at a time that I was praying for a friend. And I thought I had a really good friend, and it just wasn't the right person at the right time. And it hurt me that we had to go in different directions. But then, you know, I prayed for. I'm like God, you know, the desires of my heart. You know that. And every time I've asked God, hey, put good employees working for me. Hey, put me in a good church. Hey, bring good friends, because I'm in a new town. He always shows up. So I realized one of the most valuable things that you can have is good people around you that are going to hold you accountable, that are going to call you higher, that are going to see you through the lens of your potential, and that are going to look out for threats and also make you aware of opportunities. So, yeah, I purposely am intentional about getting in those kind of rooms and spaces so I can elevate. So I could be of use to elevate others. Yeah, so God put Frank in my life at a specific time to elevate me. And we're parallel. We're both single, we're both around the same age, we're both studs. So for multiple reasons, huh?
We're both single dads.
Single dads of one child. So, you know, there's a lot of advice. So essentially, we're Barnabas. He's my Barnabas, and we're walking life out together. And we got a good mentor that we both love who's more of a teacher and he's a Paul. But me and, me and Frank, although we teach each other, it's more out of just straight fun and friendship. And there's no really chastisement or anything like that. It's just like, you know, bro, I get it, I understand. So for me specifically, I got a. A message last week. The same day I was dealing with this self control issue, the same day I had to navigate getting the ice bath and I was just kind of going through it, I got a message from a woman in Great Britain and she doesn't know me and I don't know how she found me on Instagram, but I looked at some of her stuff and she had awesome, you know, messages, quotes, scriptures, videos. And essentially she spent time to write me a huge message. And this message was a word that she said she received from God. And she told me to check my spirit with it and pray about it and confirm that it was a message for me. And it was also a vision that she had. So she told me like this vision and essentially she could see Jesus and he was struggling. He wasn't struggling, but he was lifting and he was muscular and vascular and pulling me out of the water. And she saw me coming up out of the water with my right hand, but I was looking back, because I was looking back pulling somebody else out of the water. And then that man was linked to another man who was linked to another man who was linked to another man. And she said, we weren't coming up vertically, but it was like a bow and I was pulling men, Jesus pulling me out of the water and I was pulling other men out of the water. And then she went on to say a message that from God to me that, that he was like proud of me and that he loved my heart for him. And he loved the time that I spend with him in my faith. And at a time where I'm beating myself up hearing that God loves me no matter what and his grace is sufficient for my shortcomings, and just hearing that somebody got a message that it does her no good to send me this message. She reaps no benefit of sending me this message, although she does if you're a believer, she's doing what she's called to do. And there was more stuff to the message. But right behind that, she's like, I just want you to know. I feel like God is telling me to tell you your helpmate is on the way.
Wow.
He hears the desires of your heart. She doesn't know I'm single. She doesn't know any of that. He hears the desires of your heart. He knows the innermost desires of your heart, and he has the perfect one who's going to come to you at that specific time. And then, like, I. I checked in with my mom because my mom is totally the most spiritually sound person as far as listening to God and passing messages. And so I passed this message to my mom, and she said 100%. Like, it confirmed she had prayed for me the night before for the same thing. And then she was like, but I think I'm supposed to tell you, like, don't go look, like, just relax and just know, like, almost have a. Have a abundance mindset is almost what she was telling me without using that terminology, because that's not in her vocabulary, obviously. So that hearing all that impacted me. But what impacted me most was hearing God's love for me despite me and his grace and how proud he is of me because I sacrifice a lot. Like, I don't enjoy the fruits of my labor like most people do. I'm always working or doing something for the kingdom, and I have very little time just to enjoy my, like, just prized possessions, things I've worked for, my home, you know, just little things. I'm just always on the fly, and I got people pulling me, needing my attention. I've already had my phone blow up three times since I've been on this podcast from different employees. So it's like, it's. This is an ongoing thing. But God, despite me feeling like I don't spend enough time with him, despite me feeling like I have desires and urges that I feed into sometimes when I shouldn't, his grace and love for me and. And wanting to continue to use me to be a huge player for the kingdom, drives me to be sanctified not him beating me up and saying, guy, you got it wrong again. You need to tighten this up. Straighten this up. No, it's like, son, I am proud of you. Like, yeah, I love you. You are loved. You are my prized possession. That makes me feel like, dang, God loves me, and it makes me focus more on his love for me and the impact that I'm having versus me wanting to rush something or let my testosterone, manhood, and physical stature dominate my personal life. Bro.
What is it? First Corinthians, 9, 27. It says, no, I discipline my body as to make it my slave so that after I have preached, I myself will not be disqualified from the prize. That's. That's the verse that I've been quoting for myself lately. It's funny. About 12 years ago, I wanted to get tattooed on my chest, and I think I'm gonna. Because I love how God brought it back to one of the most crucial seasons in our lives. And, bro, that story of that lady texting you and messaging you, bro, like, bro, it's just, like. It's just so funny because we're gonna have to do a whole episode, man, on God stories. We really are. We really are. Like, we'll just do a holy episode of Only God stories. Because it's beautiful how God, like, reaches out to you like that, and it's because he loves you and he cares about you, man. And I feel like so many people are, like, searching for that constantly. And that's why we fall into. What we fall into, man, is because to some degree, we're lacking. We're lacking that love. I mean, speaking for me personally, like, the moments that I fall into watching porn or the moments that I end up, you know, like, hooking up or something like that. I'm like, dude. Or the moments that I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna drink some whiskey tonight by myself. You know, like, any moment that I had ever fallen into anything like that, it was literally because I was just feeling, like, not loved, man. And when I say not loved, you know, not to make it sound weird or anything, but that means, like, appreciated. That means seen. That means, like, what I did today meant something, right? Because even though we're always doing something for, like, you know, work and stuff like that, it's not always kingdom, and we want it to be. And we. We. We. We. We tell ourselves, you know, like, hey, this is for the kingdom in these different ways. But it's so different than when actually you go out and you tangibly do kingdom Work like that to me is what brings, like, next level fulfillment as well. Right. And I know for. For me, bro, like, it was a very similar situation to you. Not somebody messaging me anything like that. The. The message that your mom sent you, like, for me, where she said, frank must be praying, like, let me see if I can find it, man.
And just a backstory on that. Like, my mom always has messages, and I feel like the messenger. And sometimes I'm like, man, these messages are specific. They're like, they don't mean anything to me. I don't understand what the intended outcome is on these messages, but I feel a inner desire that I have now. It's my responsibility to share that these messages with people. Like, Frank's easy to share them with because Frank knows me, knows my heart. He knows. But some of these messages are kind of crazy to where, like, I'm uncomfortable to give them to people that I'm not so tight with, that maybe they. They missed the mark or maybe. But I still deliver them. And she's never off, bro.
She doesn't shoot blanks, bro. Your mom. Your mom is on the money. And I am. Actually, I'm going to prepper one of these soon. For anyone not watching the video format, it's a fanny pack, but it comes armed. Our mentor created this. It comes armed with some anointing oil mints for when you pray for people. Your breath doesn't stink like crap. And then most importantly, the atmosphere shifter, which most people think it's just a Bluetooth speaker, but it's not. This is an atmosphere shifter. So I'm gonna get your mom one of those, man, because she. She would be utilizing the crap out of it, dude. But yeah, so what me and Guy are really talking about, right? Because I'm. I'm not gonna act like everybody listens. Listening to. This is a. A Christian that is, like, informed on all this stuff, right? But what he's talking about is the gift of the prophetic, which is. Can be really weird to some people. So let me simplify it. Really. It's just the overflow of God's love for his people. And so just like, I can call my daughter and talk to her, even though I'm not right next to her. God can call you and speak to you, and. And the cellular device is your spirit is really what it is. And so he speaks directly, directly to your spirit, which is why, you know, you're hearing God sometimes when it's something that you wouldn't normally say or think, and it just kind of feels out of nowhere. You're like, whoa, what was that? And it's always to encourage, edify, and equip. The church is those three things specifically. So she operates in that a lot. A lot, man. So for me, it was beautiful because she said, he sent me this message from her. She said, tell Frank God knows he must really be talking to the Lord. He may feel like he is the least of these, but that ushers in God's greatness. He said, the least of these shall be the greater. He has a lot to look forward to, all ahead of him and not behind him. And that text came in whenever I was, like, struggling in the middle of a struggle. And to hear God, like, to see that being sent to me directly from God, from a person that I really trust, that hears from God, like, it did the same thing that it did for you, bro. It's just like, it's God's goodness, man. The Bible says it is the goodness of God that leads a man to repentance. Bro, you know what revelation I had, bro? I had this revelation, and it was yesterday, that God doesn't actually want to change me, and God doesn't actually want to fix me, Bro, have you ever been in a relationship where somebody was trying to change you or fix you?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
How was that not fun? And it would never work. Yeah, it would never work.
If anything, it makes you push back ten times more.
Right, Right.
And so I was thinking about that, and I was like, dude, if I only wanted to fix my daughter, imagine how she would feel. Daddy's just always trying to change her and change her and, like, no, no, no, baby. Like, you got to do this or you got to do this, or, like, you got to stop messing around with this stuff and just, like, focus on this and this and this. Or instead of video games, you got to play this sport or whatever, right? Like, just always trying to change her. Like, bro, I feel like that would just be exhausting. And I feel like I've lived so much of my life believing in here. Not up here. Like, up here. I knew that God loved me, but believing that his will was to help me change and was to, like, fix the broken areas. But here's the thing. Just, like, these shades. These shades are orange. And when Jesus died on the cross, God put on, like, if he was looking at us like this with no shades, he sees our imperfections. He sees everything that needs to be fixed about us. But when Jesus died on the cross, he put on some shades that were red, and now he Sees perfection. That's all he sees. So he's not trying to fix us. All he's trying to do is love me, man, is the realization I had. All he's trying to do is love me. And the byproduct of me allowing him to love me, that's the key here of me allowing God to love me, has led to, like, this next level conviction in me and desire, I should say, like a holy desire to say, God, I don't want to be the same, bro.
I don't want to be the same.
I don't want to be the same. And so, bro, I think for me, for the longest time, I felt like, you know, God's trying to fix me. And I. Dude, like, I'm a badass coach, bro. You can talk to any people who have ever worked with me. I'm a insane coach. I can help somebody in one session. Boom. I know I can with just with my tools alone. So I've tried using tools and tactics and this. And I'm not saying there's no room for that. I don't think it's either or. I think it's both. And I think it's using the tactical, but I think it's also tactically allowing yourself to receive God's love. And you know when's the hardest to receive it? When you just operated out of the flesh. That's when I feel like I gotta earn it instead of just receiving it, just being like, okay, okay, I'll just receive it. And Paul says in Philippians, he says that it is mature thinking to forget the things behind and only focus on the things ahead. That's actually mature thinking, which means immature thinking is what we normally fall back to, which is, let me focus on what I just did 10 minutes ago. Let me focus on what I just did a week ago, and let me entertain that instead of, how much does God love me right now, bro? And, like, that's what started really creating this desire in me for righteous horniness, bro.
So I'm going to go back and sometimes I share things from my prison time because I got a lot of understanding of people and situations because I was in there for over a decade. So I think about being in an open dorm with 100 inmates and white, black, Spanish, it didn't matter. There were carbon copies of the same individual that you'd see over and over and over and over again. And it's because these men would try to be like these other men and not be who they were authentically, because they didn't Think authentically, they were enough. So this dude's just like this dude, just like this dude. And they're all exactly the same. They talk the same, they walk the same, they wear their pants the same, they had the same swag. Nothing authentic about it. And I was thinking, and I was talking to Jim today, Jim Celico, about this. I was like, man, God made us all so different. And those differences are where the power's at. And when we realize that we don't care what anybody thinks, then we're. And we're proud of those differences. It's attractive, it's fresh, it's new. It's something that people don't see, they've never seen before. So that's kind of how operating in God's love is. It frees you because you're not. I only fear God. I only fear God. I don't fear man. But it took me life lessons and God's stories and just seeing him show up in crazy ways and tough situations that I couldn't navigate on my own every single time. For me to understand, bro, this is not about me and man, this is about me and he. And I'm operating for one audience, the audience of one. So, yeah, that frees you when you're in the game. Like Frank was talking about the other day, when you're in the game, everybody's on the sideline saying, do this. You should have, you should have not tooken that pitch. You should have swung at that. Or, or you should have. I would have caught that ball. Or, or, you know, the only reason why they're over there speaking is because they're on the sideline. That's the only reason why they, they have an opinion. But when you're in the game, brother, your only job and mission is to act and act with confidence. And in baseball, it's like, man, I get up 10 times and I get three good at bats and make contact and, you know, by the grace of God, it squeezes through the infield. I get a single or double or, you know, I hit a home run, but two times I strike out, four times I pop up and twice I hit a line drive out. I still fell more than I succeeded, but I'm an allstar. So when you're in the game, you're going to have a lot of judgment, you're going to have a lot of critics, be of good cheer. You don't have critics when you're sitting on the sideline. They're focused on the people on in the game. And this Podcast has given us a lot of critics because we're in the game making game changing moves and being vulnerable to help a lot people. And we're going to have a lot of critics. But brother, I'd much rather be in the game with all the critics in the world because that means you're moving and shaking and making things happen for the kingdom.
Amen, brother. Amen. And that's why that I think that episode, you know, f modern day Pharisees is so huge and I think that's why both of us were so, so passionate about it is because it's not God's conviction that makes life difficult and overcoming struggles difficult. It is Pharisees consistently reminding you of your shortcomings and stacking against you and stacking you in order of like, well, you can't because you this, but this person can because their sin is a little bit more tolerable to us as a human.
Right?
And then this and that. Like that's why that episode is so important, right? And so if you're, if this, if you haven't heard that one yet, go back and check it out, right? Because that came out before this episode. I think it was the second episode that we released. And it's so important because exactly what you're saying, brother, like once you get in the game, I mean, it's going to be tough, man. Which is why we need men like you, bro. Like, I need boys like you. I need boys like you. That first of all, they're never just going to justify anything for me and be like, bro, well, you know, this and that. It's like. But they're also not going to shame me, criticize me or give me a hard word when I'm already giving myself 10 times of a harder word than you could ever give me. Because.
And I think that's what me and Frank are realizing is that we don't need to beat ourselves up because we are chosen redeemed in our heart to even beat ourselves up for these things. Let lets us know who our heart lies with. But we could just take it back to biblical for because most of the the modern day Pharisees don't even know the Bible. Or they take it out of context because they haven't read it front to finish with eyes to see and ears to hear. But desire has always been a thing in the Bible. Jacob desired a wife so bad that he worked 14 years being done wrong by a guy to give him his daughter. He overworked him, took advantage of him and it seemed but A day for Jacob because he had such desire to marry Rachel and to take Rachel, that desire to that horniness that he had in him was a God given gift. The start of the Bible took place in the Garden of Eden with a naked dude that was enjoying his, his landscape. And God said, man, this is not good. I'm going to put a naked chick with you because that's, that's what man needs. And what I want you to do is be naked, be fruitful and multiply. Get after it. I am God and this is good. So you know, then King Solomon, who loved God, money, women, experience in things, powerhouse was a man after God's own heart as well. He sought wisdom and he wrote just a lurid book of sexuality and songs of Solomon, describing in vivid detail a woman's physique and how he wanted to take it in from her stomach or navel to her breast to her neck.
What's he say? Her breasts are like coconuts on a palm tree. That, oh, I desire to climb up.
It's, it's so good, bro.
Hey bro, everyone wants to climb up that tree, man.
Even Solomon was the first one with a foot fetish. Now I don't have a foot fetish.
Hey, only fans Solomon would have subscribed to that foot fetish.
Hey, I'm. That's not a thing for me. Like, I think feet, you know, I've seen some pretty feet and I've seen some jacked up looking feet. Yeah, I probably got some jacked. I got some jacked up looking feet myself, bro.
Real quick, whenever me and one of my boys had started a social media agency and we were trying to get clients, we came across an Instagram account called Hot Toes. And it was like this very heavy set black lady and it was just all about her feet. And it was an only fans account. Bro. We always talk about hot toes. You remember hot toes? I'm like, yeah, those feet were hot. They weren't sexy, they were hot. As in like, boy, you better put those feet away, dude.
But it's, they were hot from carrying all that weight. So Solomon essentially says, how beautiful are your sandaled feet, princess. The curves of your thighs are like jewelry, the handiwork of a master. Your navel is a rounded bowl. It never lacks mixed wine. He says, your waist is a mound of wheat surrounded by lilies. Your breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle. This is in the Bible right here. This is songs of Solomon 7:1:3. And he goes on to even go in more in great detail about the neck looking like a tower of ivory and being able to stare into her eyes and her stature being like a palm tree, which he wants to climb to get to the clusters of fruit, which he describes as being her beautiful breast. So, Solomon, is this. Is this dirty? Like, y' all have a problem with this? When y'.
All.
When.
Because. Because you know what that means climbing that tree? It means you got some music going on, like Bo. And he's just going from the legs all the way up, man. Like, that's 50 shades of gray.
He's just. He's in discovery mode, and he's taking his time, trying to navigate. And he's not in a hurry, bro. Soaking in from the sandal feet to the naval. And he is. He's. He's working his way through. And it's a beautiful thing. And it was such a thing that he wrote it down in great detail and made it a book in the Bible. God inspired all the Bible. God. It's. God breathed living word. So essentially, if you have a problem with us having a desire for women, and speaking about a desire of women, you have a problem with how God created you and he created humanity.
And more than likely, you're not attractive and you. You don't get attention, and there's no chance of you even being able to. So that part of you has numbed out more than likely, right? Like Bishop T.D. jakes, it was so funny. He was talking about how it's easy for you to tell a man to be pure when you're five foot five and a woman £300, and you look like a bag of potatoes, like. And he was like, it's easy for you. Well, look at me. I'm being pure. I'm being. I'm like, yeah, yeah, that. That's easy, right? And, dude, you shouldn't have a problem with us having a desire like that, bro. I've talked to multiple people, not going to mention names, right? Multiple people how once they got married, because sex was so taboo and so, like, you don't do it, you don't talk about it, you know, or maybe you do talk about it, but you don't do it. You know, you. You start creating a pattern of, I'm not supposed to do this. I'm not supposed to think this way. I'm not supposed to. It's not supposed to. And we are our patterns. That's just what we are, right? So what ends up happening is these individuals end up getting married, bro, and now they're struggling to discover themselves and enjoy sex with each other as a couple. Because there's been so much, like, tearing it down on their mind in the past, right?
And I'm gonna tear it down in person.
Boy. Tear it down all night, boy.
Yeah, I'm gonna tear it down in person like a savage animal. And at some time, I'm gonna finesse it.
Yeah, it just depends on the occasion, you know?
It depends on the occasion, or you.
Start off finessing, you tear it up, and you just flip flop, man. It's gotta be a roller coaster, bro. It's got to be a roller coaster, right?
Man, we don't want to keep the same tempo. We don't want to keep the. We got to switch the style up. And really, that's just. It's feeding off the energy. And I. I say that's why it's so spiritual, is because, bro, when you're operating in the spirit, you feed off the energy of the room.
You.
You set the energy in the room. Yeah, well, sex is the same thing. It's spiritual, it's binding. It's the best way to connect. It's a gift from God. And, bro, I'm just proud that I'm who I am, man. God made me a physical specimen.
Same thing, bro. I'm not ashamed of it at all, man. I feel like I used to be a lot because I was taught to be. I was taught to be. But right now it's like, bro, you know, people just hurt our heart for, like, 40 minutes. They just hurt our heart about how we want to be, you know, pure and righteous. But, hey, we're trying to keep that horniness too, man, you know, because if wifey shows up in 2024, man, like, she's going to get a beast in the kingdom, in the business place and in the bedroom as well. Like, she's going to get a beast all across the board in the mighty name of Jesus.
That's right. And why do we talk about showing up and health, wealth and kingdom, but we don't talk about showing up in the bedroom? That's what this podcast is about a little bit. And we're going to get into some stats and later. Later shows, and we're going to get into some stats about the negative of, like, porn and also the negative and. And what we were talking about not feeling. Feeling like sexual desire is wrong, feeling like shame from that and how that just hinders and holds us back. We've already talked a little bit of.
I have.
We've already talked a little bit about the Power of the seed. The power of the seed. And why, like, boxers sometimes will go without having sex during their fights to be stronger, more animalistic in a more hunting mindset. When I wear my red to the gym, it's because I'm going hunting, and I'm going hunting. And when I shave my head low, it means because I'm. I'm turning into a different animal. I'm. I'm moving differently. I'm in a different season.
Different.
This is not being about pretty. This is not about looking good. This is about achieving results and making the kill. Come on, man, talk about these things. As believers who love the Lord, but we're hunting in many different areas, and we're hunting greatness. And if you want greatness, come along for the ride.
Amen. Bro. Bro, you know why Paul was such a savage?
Why?
Because he never spilled his seed, bro. You know, in Philippians, you know how he got thrown into prison and he got flogged? You know, he didn't have to. He could have told them, hey, you can't do this to me. Because he's a Roman citizen. And it was their right. It was part of their right as Roman citizens, was, you're not allowed to flock me. You can imprison me if you want, but you can't flock. You can't touch me. But he chose to go through it anyways, first of all, to make a statement. Second. Well, first of all, it was because he used it tactically against the Romans afterwards, but also for the kingdom. And, bro, you bet there was a part in him that said, oh, I want the smoke, dude. Give me the suffering. Give me all of it. And, bro, every room he walked into, man, like, people. People have tried to tell me before, like, hey, man, like, just don't get too prideful. Don't get too prideful. I'm like, I'm not prideful, dude. Like, if you listen to Paul, Paul would walk into the room at a church and be like, I pray in the spirit more than all of you. All of you. None of y' all pray more than I pray in the spirit. Eddie would also tell the Roman citizens and all, like, and even the Jews. He's like, I'm more studied than all of you. I'm the smartest, dude. Do you know everything I've achieved? You've got nothing on me. That was Paul's consistent attitude, bro. And we got Christians. Christians out here trying to tell other Christians, hey, man, just like, settle down, settle down, settle down. No, screw that, bro. Like, I'm not spilling my seed right now. There's a new level of tenacity inside of me. And guess what? I get to walk into every room with boldness because why God put my feet there. And if he set my feet there, that's my room. That's my room. If God put me in front of somebody, that's my conversation. He gave that to me. He put me there for that specific reason. And so I really. I can't wait to have that talk. I know our mentor is gonna have that conversation here soon. On, you know, what does the Bible say about masturbation? Like, obviously, we know porn is, like, not good. What does it say about masturbation? Right. And spilling your seed. And then people go back to that one verse where it was like, that one guy and he spilt it on the side and God, like, cursed him or something. It's like, we got to remember that the Bible was written for us, not to us specifically. Which is why in the. I think it's in Corinthians, it's talking about how women can't preach. Well, that's because all of them were freaking crazy. The women in the Corinth church were psychos. So he had a right to the church specifically. That doesn't mean that's for today. It's for us. It's not to us. Right. Which I think is, like, so important. But yeah, bro, we're gonna have some really good story. I kind of want to tell the story about demonizing your horniness. Is that cool?
Real quick shoot, man. Yeah, tell me exactly what you mean by not demonizing your horniness.
Yeah. So I had an encounter with a beautiful individual. Right? And after this encounter, you know, the. Our horniness got the best of us, right? And this individual is like, a very, like, respected individual involved in some very, like, respected things in, like, some pretty, like, high caliber, like, ministry. Right? And so I wasn't trying to. And then it led to that. Literally led to that. And there was. Whatever it led to it. And so what ends up happening is this person then about a week later, sends me a. A picture of a bite mark that they had on their shoulder from yours truly, right?
Yeah.
Because sometimes when that. The beast comes out, literally the beast comes out, right? Like, we all know you're an animal. Yeah, yeah. Like, let's not be kids about it, right? And so she starts saying that the demon of lust inside of me was trying to attack her is what she was saying. And I was like, hold, hold up, hold up.
What?
What do you mean? I always like to ask, what do you mean? So they can give me more information so I don't assume. And then she starts saying, man, it's just the demon of lust. And that's why we ended up having sex. And da, da, da, da, da. And like this bite it, trying to, like, attack me, right? And then now it's attacking me in my head at night. And I was like, well, what do you mean by it's attacking you in your head at night? You're being tormented. So she says that she was being tormented. Guess what her torment was? Wet dreams about me. You showed up, bro.
You showed up too. Well, too.
A little too well, man. But not, not well enough to get the demons out of her, apparently, right? But so, bro, this individual starts demonizing the simple fact that she has a high sex drive because she talked to a church leader, one of the mentors that she deals with, and they were like, man, that's the demon of lust. That's not you. That's whatever. And so now she's over there, like, tripping out, feeling like she's broken. And like, she needs to, like, do whatever it is that she can to get this demon out of her so it stops crippling her. And she's like, it's just so hard because, like, you know, I really do love the Lord and, and I. I love reading My Word and I love being in his presence and all this. She's like, but I'm also thinking about you, and I want to do these things to you. And some of the things she said, I was like, who's got the demon now? I was like, who's got the demon now?
Right?
But I'm like, that's what I mean by we can't demonize it. If you fall into it, own it. How easy, bro? How easy is it to like, blame a demon? Hey, that demon made me have sex.
Or how easy is it to blame the, the. The devil for just our own fleshly mistakes, you know, And I think we. We take like, the power out of our hands when we do that. Because, man, you can get discipline. Discipline is something that you can gain from yourself. I. Last night I went out on a date and enjoyed myself, and I went to sleep at, you know, a normal time, maybe a little later than normal time. I went to sleep at 11 at night, but I had to wake up at 4:30 because I told somebody I was going to go to the gym. So I had to wake up at 4 to be at the gym at 4:30. Well, my flesh Would want me to lay in bed and just reschedule. Hey, bro, I had a date last night, and. And I'm just gonna sleep this one in and get my workout in this evening. But I know that discipline requires me to be a man of my word. Yeah. And to do what I say I'm gonna do. And I said I'm gonna get up and go work out. And from me getting up and going work out, I had breakthrough in my business talking to different dudes at the gym who own their own businesses about how they're marketing. And they brought it up to me, which spurned ideas, and I, you know, reestablish some good relationships, made some. Some new relationships. And by the time I left the gym, I knew how I was going to approach the day and move in business to create more business and to get an algorithm jumping on Google again and. And move up in ranking. Had I laid in bed, I would have felt crappy because I didn't keep my word.
And.
But I could say, hey, you know, man, last night I went out and hung out and, and, man, I should probably shouldn't have stayed out that late. But the devil, man, he's really been shooting at me like, you know, wearing, wearing me out. And I'm lacking discipline because I'm just tired all the time. And. And. But we could always point that on something else. Or I stayed out late last night, so I can't get up. But really, ultimately, bro, there's no excuse for anything. You do what you say you're going to do. You don't operate out of how you feel, but you operate out of your commitments. You make good commitments. You show up like a champion. You know whose you are. And man, then all the glory goes to God. And. And. Resist the devil, and he shall flee. Resist the devil, and he shall flee. So we continue to resist. A. A real man of God may fall seven times, but he gets up eight. So you just keep getting up after you fall. You keep moving forward. You keep putting your feet where you're led to put your feet and. And full faith, even when it doesn't seem like anything's breaking and anything's changing. And that's how God can show up. And he will show up, and that's how he'll put you on a hill to be seen by every everybody. And that hill could be a podcast. That hill could be a speaking event. That hill could be you in a group friend group of your settings. But he's going to give you story after story for a specific person at a specific time that if you just have eyes to see and you're bold and you keep moving forward, you don't let condemnation. Conviction is a good thing. We should be convicted. When we fall short, we should turn away from things that are not of God. Premarital sex really isn't of God. So you should try to turn away from that 100%. But you shouldn't turn away from it in shame or condemnation. You should have a reason, because you want better, you want more. You want to trade good for great. You want to trade good for best.
Yeah, exact. Exactly, bro. The number one motivator in this world is desire. Is the number one motivator. Because desire pulls you. Like, willpower pushes. It's like, I have to. It's creating desire for purity. You know what I'm saying? But purity doesn't mean that you completely turn a blind eye to your horny side. Like, no, no, no. Like, we can't be doing that. And that's the conversation that I feel like needs to be had. And we're having it, bro. And I like it. I really do like it, man. And the devil's got nothing, bro. The Bible says that he is beneath our feet. He's beneath our feet. Anything that I do is because I did it. This is what. This is what happens. I did. The devil didn't do that. I did that. And when there's a blessing, God did that, or me and him did that hand in hand. Sorry, Tank started barking. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? And I think a lot of times, man, we just forget that. Like, I think it's just time to remind yourself, as a man of God and for the ladies that are listening, as a woman of God, that the devil is beneath your feet. And if your car tire went flat, it's probably not the devil. You probably just ran over a nail. Okay? So stop giving him so much credit. Like, stop giving him so much glory. And let's just focus on taking territory one step at a time. Because here's the thing, bro. I love it. We do make decisions based off of our commitments. And I feel like me and you are making a new commitment right now. Right? And honestly, I want to encourage any dude that's listening to this right now, specifically any man that's listening to this right now and saying, hey, y', all, I want to commit with you guys. I want you to go over to Holy and Horny Podcast on Instagram and send us a message. And we're going to get. We're going to we're going to figure something out. We keep saying this. We said this on a couple other episodes. So maybe by now we've already figured out what that group's going to look like. We're going to figure out a level of community where we're able to bring you in. So. Message. Message us committed on Instagram at Holy and Horny Podcast. I'm going to say that one more time. Message us committed at Holy and Horny Podcast on Instagram. If you're saying, hey, man, like, I want to commit to what you guys are committed to and it's time to make. Start making some decisions based out of our commitments, not our feelings. Make sense, bro?
Yeah. And I feel like the takeaway from this is we got to be who we were created to be. And that's men driven by desire. That's men who are celebrate their differences. That's men who hunt. And not necessarily hunt for animals, but if you're in a need to eat, you'll hunt for animals. If you're in a need to kill, you'll hunt for the kill. But we hunt for our desires. And we put God on a pedestal. We give him the glory, but we don't take away from who he created us to be. And he created us to be kings, man. We're built in his image creators. So. And we're all built differently with different strengths. But you got to know what your strengths are, and you got to be audacious enough to operate in your strengths and know that the differences and the judgment and the things coming from other people and is because those people see something great in you and they're disappointed, they're threatened that they don't have the same thing you have. And they want to take that from you, strip it from you however they can because of their insecurities. But we came to complete other men and women, not to compete with other men and women. Because I know that there's enough business out there for everybody. I know that there's enough women out there for every man. I know that if I show up who I am, how I'm supposed to show up, I'm about to be blessed and I'm about to bless other people. And that's what I do. And that's what we're realizing is, bro, even though we fall short, even though our worst enemy is our own condemnation. So that's why we're so big about being real on here and talking about where we fall short, because we realize that when we're set free from our own Condemnation. The rooms do shift when we're in them. These women love some Guy Jones. These women love some Frank Ortega. Because we know who we are. We know whose we are, and we're operating in that greatness that God created us to be.
Amen, bro. Hey, bro, you got me high. I'm about to punch a demon in the throat, bro. Way to go. Free it for real, bro. Way to go in on that, man. A hundred percent. Everything you just said. That's a beautiful place to end on, man. So, hey, y', all, if you guys are enjoying this podcast, which I know you are, and if you're a hater and you're. You're hating the podcast, go ahead and subscribe anyways. Also, and I promise you, by the time we're done, you're gonna really like us. You're gonna really like us. So we'll catch you guys on the next episode. God bless you. I love the Lord, and I love people that need the Lord.
I'm just tired of being fake. And if I got to be fake and I can't be real, the Bible says, confess your sin to one another. I love you. I honor you, man. You are like your fruit of the ministry, man.
