Trailer: What to Expect

Hey, welcome to the Holy and Horny podcast. My name is Frank Ortega and I am a 31 year old single father, actually of a beautiful 12 year old little girl. And I'm also a divorce recovery life coach who helps men and women overcome the heartbreak of divorce. And the mission of that business, the Conquerors Community, the Conquerors organization, is to actually change the statistics of divorced men leading suicide rates. And so that's what I do. And that is a little bit about who I am. My co host is Guy Jones and he is also a single father as well, and an incredible business owner. Has a powerful testimony that you'll probably hear on this podcast that is going to completely just ruin you for normal. Like such a great story. For real, for real, Incredible story. And so what this podcast is essentially, y', all, it's just two men that are holy men of God and that are also horny at the same time. So what can you expect on this podcast? Well, you can expect topics like holy finding your purpose, right? And you can also expect horny topics, for example, like, you know, how should you set up your dating profile? What's the best way to pick up someone on a dating profile? What do you do? How do you handle if you fall into, you know, sex out of marriage and you feel that condemnation, that shame, and you know that you're a man of God and you know that you're on purpose. Like, how do you navigate that? Right? How to get over pornography. One of our episodes is going to be from Masturbator to Master Runner with a special guest who's the youngest man in the world to break a running record. That is phenomenal. And you guys will hear about that on that, on that episode, right? And so we got a lot of cool episodes. We're also going to talk about relationships. Me and Guy Jones have spent quite a bit of time in the dating field, which I know sounds kind of bad, right? But just trying to do it in the most healthy way possible. And this podcast really is for individuals who want to listen to content like that as well as content like, you know, whenever you get married, like, hey, what, what, what's off the table? And how can we develop a relationship where we are helping the other individual become the holiest version of themselves, but also keeping them horny towards us. Right? Because attraction is so important in relationships. One of the number one reasons why people actually end relationships is because of not sex, but attraction. Right? That's the root of it, right? And so I know sometimes as Christians, we can make it a Little complicated and try and make it extremely spiritual. But sometimes it's just simple, man, like, hey, get to the gym, stop being in a crappy mood all the time and stop being such a. Such a selfish individual. Right? And so we can pray about it all the time, but sometimes it just comes down to like practical, tactical things. And that's what this podcast is going to have a lot out of. Right. So we're not experts in all these different areas. Right. But a lot of the stuff that we're going to cover has been tested and tried by ourselves as well as I've seen it. And a coached now thousands of men and women through a lot of this material. Right. And so sorry I choked on my spit. That was really awkward. We're going to leave that in there because this podcast is going to be extremely real. Who is this podcast for? Is for men of God that are out in the modern dating scene right now. Honestly, that's who it's for. It's also for ladies. Ladies, you can listen into it as well. We are going to have women on here. We don't want this to feel like it's just some sort of like sausage fest, right? Just the brain bros talking about this, that and the other. No, no, no. We're gonna bring in, you know, some women of God because we're tired of all these other podcasts that are out there that are just bringing on, you know, of girls that, you know, just don't really represent, I guess you could say, what a man of God would want in a wife. Right. And so what's happening is all these other podcasts are just making men put their guard up towards women and not think that women h. Show share any value or bring any value. And then it's also making women kind of get standoffish against men. And that's just the play of the enemy. And so this podcast is going to be something that we're going to be able to have a healthy discussion about both. Right. We're not going to over spiritualize things and we're not going to be completely in the world and realistic. Right. Because you do need faith some like for everything in life. So you can't just be always realistic. But realistically, desire is a huge play that part, a part that plays in our human life. Right. And so it could be difficult to navigate, if you can imagine, as a, you know, mission driven man with extremely high testosterone, but who also loves the Lord, right? Or even if you're a lady, you know, you know that you love the Lord. And I've had situations, and you'll probably hear more about it in the podcast where, you know, ended up being intimate with someone who really loves the Lord. Um, and then next thing you know, these individuals just, like, really believe that it's a demon and they start demonizing their own desire. And it's just so sad because then I get to hear stories in my divorce recovery business of individuals that just really were just. I call it abuse, man. Like, they just wanted normal sex from a normal individual, but they were. Their spouse was so traumatized because of what their family or leaders or whatever told them about sex that they just never even got to enjoy it, right? Because it was a demon. It was bad. It was so demonized and so not good to talk or think about. And that's exactly what some of the things that we want to break off of people on this podcast. And so I'm hoping that as you're listening, if you're still listening to this trailer, I hope that as you. As you continue to, like, follow on this journey with us, that we. We can get together to a place where you feel comfortable enough to send me and Guy a message on our Instagram and maybe even confess some things that you've never confessed to some other individuals. Because on this podcast, it's not going to be the clean. The most clean podcast. We're going to be extremely real, probably more real than you've heard on any other podcast. I'm not just saying that. You'll see on episode one, and that's just what it's going to be. And so we hope that you can sense our authenticity to connect with you. We hope that you can sense our heart for the Lord, but we also hope that you can just have a laugh with us and discuss horny topics, because there's going to be a lot of those, right? All dealing with dating, building attraction, holding attraction and boundaries. Right? How to be porn, all those things. We're going to have, you know, married couples in here that have an incredible spiritual relationship and an incredible sexual relationship. We're just going to talk about, you know, how do you cultivate that and what's off the table, have some fun with that. So, yeah, those are some things that you can expect on this podcast.
