Broadcast - Day 2

This is a YouTube video titled "Broadcast - Day 2" containing a short excerpt where Melanie Ann Layer performs or recites a rhythmic or lyrical piece. The content appears to be a solo performance without conversational elements or multiple speakers.
They call me sassy when I'm strolling down the street they call me classy when I'm serving Just the best, just the best they call me sassy when I'm smooth down the street.
Hello, gorgeous. People of broadcast. Today is our second module of teaching, the third of the program. So we had a module of Q and A, and today is technically module three. So very excited about this. So first things first, I want to post to the group that we are live and I have a fun shareable graphic. So I've had some people be like, why? Okay, I'll tag at everyone. Why don't you tag us in the graphics? I want to share these graphics that I'm watching and then I only see them after, and then blah, blah. I really respect that and I honor that. So I am sharing this with you now. So you should have them in the group as a shareable graphic in this moment. So the first thing I want to talk about today, which I think has been kind of a common thread during the Q and A and perfect timing for today's session, is the part where sometimes we're not sure and we're not certain that our selling is in service or that our speaking is in service. And so because we're not sure that we're actually giving to people, we think we're trying to be seen or we're trying. We think we're trying to do something. So there's. There's actually like a guilt or a shame or a feeling of, like, am I. Am I even allowed to want to be seen? Like this. Is it bad that I want to talk and I want people to listen to me? Is there something wrong with that? Have you ever had this feeling like, who am I to be in the spotlight? And will I look like? I just want people to look at me and it's awkward. Like, have you had that thought in your life when you go to speak? Okay, so what happens with this is that we get caught up more in what it's going to do for us to become the speaker that we really wish to become. We're more caught up in what it's going to do for us than what it's actually going to do for people when we start to speak and it actually starts to serve us. And so what I think made a big difference for me along my journey is I was really clear from the point where I started speaking on camera. I knew this was not for me to be famous. I really did not have an intention that I would one day become famous. That wasn't a part of it. And as I explained on the live streams before, my goal was to connect with people that I already knew to. Just to talk to them, to speak to them, to encourage them. So it was more to stay connected with people that I knew and to give them really amazing value versus being seen. And so I think this was a great thing from the beginning for me because it made sure that my intentions were in the right place. And this is not to say that your intentions are not in the right place, but sometimes we slip and we forget that the goal is always a triple win for me, for you, for us. So we don't want to be selfless in this and be like, oh, I. I hate speaking, but I'll do it for you. It's not like that. And it's not, you know, this is all for me. And whether you like it or not, I don't care, as long as I get to do the profession I've always wanted. And I want you to contemplate this in any single profession, it would be the truth. Like, let's say a police officer wants to be a police officer for power only. How long is it before there's a mishap or there's they're doing something that, that shows power in an unbalanced way, or they're known as someone corrupt or someone that's doing things for the wrong reasons? It'll be so fast. If it's like, I want to be a police officer so I have power over people, it's not going to work. If someone's like, I want to be a doctor so that I can be sell. Like, sure, the patients like, obviously, but what I really want is for my family to be proud that I'm rich. How. How sharp will that doctor be when someone's life's on the table? If someone's like, oh, yes, I want to be a school teacher. I want to want to be a school teacher so I can tell children what to do and really be respected. Because people don't respect me in my real life, but kids, they do. So I want to be a teacher so that. So that I have respect from someone in the world that will become a tyrant teacher with no passion and probably the kids in the class will fail. Doesn't work. If you're like, I want to be a hairdresser because I want to be world famous. What are the odds that you're going to choose a different color than what the client asked or say? Yeah, yeah, don't worry. I'll just take a little bit off the ends that end up snipping way too much off, because you know best and you want, you think you want to be, you know, the most well renowned. You can't let someone walk out of the salon not looking the way you want them to. So you're going to do what you want, said what the client wants. How's that going to work? So in any profession, if it's not for me, for you, for us, it will cost the service. The actual act of service that comes with every profession gets lost if it's not for me, for you, for us. And so the most important thing for us to do when we're choosing speaking as a profession is to take into consideration that we are doing this for service. And if you second guess that, I really want you to contemplate and consider what would happen if some of your favorite people that you enjoy listening to just didn't exist or stopped speaking. Like if you have a daily podcast that you love to listen to, or if you have a coach or a mentor that you love to listen to, or even being here with me in broadcast or in mission to millions, or like anyone whose voice has made an impact on your, on your life, eradicate that voice. How does that go for you? It's like I know for a fact there are voices that if they were eradicated on this planet, I am not who I am. Those voices amplified my existence. And so for me, being a speaker is more about the amplification of the service that I provide. And beyond that, what's so what's amazing because of that is that I get to live doing something that I love. So, yes, I love doing what I do. And that makes me better at what I do. Because you can always tell when you have a teacher at school, that's your best teacher, your favorite one you've ever had. It's the one that loved the subject they were teaching. They loved being a teacher. When you think about the best food you've ever eaten, it's the passionate chef that loves cooking. When you think about the most beautiful building you've ever been in, it's the passionate architect and the passionate designer that love their work, that designed those. The people who love their work are the greatest. So if you love your work and you're doing it from a place of service, then there's an us. An us is the frequency that's going to change the world, especially for female entrepreneurs, because we have always been pit against each other from very young, young. The competition is from very young. And so if we can see, like we stand for us. I want to be one of the greats, I want to be one of the voices. I want to be a voice of a generation, one of the voices that changed this generation. And I've considered what the impact of all of us speaking and reaching more people at record speed could have on the planet. And it blows me away to think of the possibility that we have through our connections to reach so many people. You know, they say like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, like everyone's connected to everyone through six connections. That, that is an incredible thing to consider. If we all started to light up our life, our voice, our fire, and we started to actually speak with purpose, we could get a message around the earth very quickly. But it just takes us all to stop being so self conscious and be more conscious of our power, of our abilities and of the actual service it is to be a communicator. As it comes to professions, it has been said that the speakers, the public speakers are the highest paying professions, like speakers and selling. Speaking and selling are the two top paying professions on earth, aside from being a rock star, which basically you feel like one when you're good at speaking and selling. So it's a perfect thing. But if you, if you're able to speak and you're able to sell, your income is completely unlimited. Especially if you learn how to do that to many people at once. If you're able to have a, a lot of people in front of you and speak to many people in front of you, your income is unlimited. I was doing the math of like 80 million plus for Alpha Femme in the last four years since 2017, 80 million. And it's like when I look at that, I look at how if I looked at one person at a time per transaction, you know, one person at a time, how long would it have taken me to, to serve $80 million worth of clients one at a time? Like, I think it might have taken me my whole life, but I was able to do that in four years because of my voice and my reach and my platform, my broadcast. I was able to help a lot of people in less time. If we really think of what's going to change the planet, it's going to be that. But then what gets in the way? What gets in the way is, well, first of all, where are the people? Second of all, am I good enough? What am I going to talk about? Third of all, are like, are they, am I going to be able to hold the pressure of Those who agree with me and don't agree with me. And is it always going to be pleasurable or am I going to end up having to deal with some, like, unfortunate, unpleasant moments during this, or is it just going to be like roses all the time? So that's what I want to address with you today. How to build your stage. How to build your stage, but from a place of service, not just so that you can be like, I'm a rock star. But you will. But it will be the byproduct. The money will come as a byproduct. The impact will come. All of that will come. But if you see it like it's for me, for you, for us, it's wild how everything comes together for the stage to be built for you. As long as it's for us, it's as if all the support of the universe comes in to support you. So I want to talk about both the strategy and the energetics of your voice kind of building a stage because these are equal part important. So we're going to start with the energetics. And so I want to talk to you about the difference, in my opinion and how I see it, your audience versus your reach. Because this has ch. This is one of the things that I believe has been responsible. This one belief of mine that's been responsible for really opening the world up to me. So who here has ever had the thought my audience doesn't like or my audience doesn't or I don't have a big enough audience? Anything about your audience at all, if you've ever had a thought about your audience, whether they move, they buy, they listen, whether they're interested, whether they're even there. Okay? So I have focused less on my audience than my reach. What I have always considered and what I've kept a bigger eye on is the potential reach. And I think this is what changed the game for me. Because when I first started speaking, the only people who listened to me were old friends from high school, people I met at a coffee shop here and there that maybe would be a client, maybe my aunt, you know, my. My. My Vanessa Emmanuel, whenever they were on, like, that's who would watch me. So I did not have a big audience, but I had two choices. I either had to speak into the camera, accepting my fate. This is my audience, and tailor my speech to my audience want, or I had to get clear with the fact that this is social media. This is when I started really embracing alpha femme, when I started really wanting to grow my alpha femme group. When I wanted to grow my community. When I really started going, like, I believe I can grow this, right? The difference was I wasn't just speaking to my audience. I started speaking to my reach. And what does that mean? Even if not one person who's watching this as my ideal client, do I believe one person might eventually. So I'm going live right now, and there's four people live. My aunt, my cousin, my friend from high school, and one of my employees. That's my audience. So I have two choices. I go live for my audience or I go live with my potential reach in mind. And the way I see it is the audience is what's in the field of predictability and even possibility. And your reach is what's in the field of possibility and potentiality. So I started speaking not to the people who were there, but to the people I wanted there. Not out of midair like some sort of la LA person. Like, I'm. I'm gonna imagine they're there, and one day they'll come. Like, there is such a thing as social media reach. It's a real thing. It means why wouldn't the person that I really want to be seeing this end up seeing this? Why not? Because one person sharing it, one person commenting on it, could literally put it somewhere else where I don't expect it to be. So I speak for the potential of my dream reach, not my audience. Unless I absolutely love my audience, then that's fantastic. Then eventually you've really built the audience that you love and you're using the audience to expand your reach. But if, when you're starting off, you're like, thinking of the people in your audience, you want to avoid fearing the people in your audience that might say something that you don't, that they don't like, fearing the people in your audience that this and that, you're going to change the power of your voice. Because speaking to an audience and speaking to a reach is entirely different. This is the difference between talking and speaking in the online world. When you know who you're talking to, you would you adapt yourself in a very different way? And so for me, there's two parts of reach. There's two parts of energetic reach. There's reaching for the kind of person, like, who might I connect with that I don't even know now? But beyond that, there's the reach within the person listening. And so what I've found is that your voice will activate and people's voices will activate different levels of power in a person. I have seen clients of Mine also watch other stuff that I super don't value. And I'm. It's almost shocking to me sometimes, like, it's gossip or it's. It's really not nice. And they're all in the comment section. I'm shocked because it's like, these people are so in agreement with the way that I speak, and they're like, yes, yes, yes when I say it, but they can get just as easily, completely caught up in someone else's drama, in someone else's gossip, and then be like, yes, yes, yes to that, even though I'm entirely the opposite of that. So it's not always as easy as to say there's a type of person. There's also how far you reach into a person's soul. There's also how far you're able to reach inside a person and activate their power. And so I don't have a bias about people where it's like, oh, I'm not the kind of person for people who gossip or I don't work with people who do this because what I found is people are dualistic in nature, and it's the same people that are doing one thing that are doing the other thing. What I say instead is I activate within people this power. Even if you also have the disempowered version of you that gets caught up in gossip threads or that gets caught up in, you know, the world stories that just everybody's fighting about stuff and you get all caught up in that. I don't say that's not my ideal client, but I see a lot of people do that. A lot of The Q&As that I get around social media, a lot of questions I get around social media is like, how do you get such an incredible audience? How do you get these amazing people? And it's like, these people are people. But I bring out the amazingness. You get to say, I am speaking to the world. And when I speak, I'm going to wake up something within people. A lot of people say I speak to people who are interested in hair. Okay? So if I have to imagine, like, does my audience only care about hair? Do I see that as like, this is the. The most important thing. I'm speaking to people who care about hair. I'm going to have a really hard time believing that everybody that's listening to me is a hair professional. But if I see it like my reach, is there a part inside of themselves that's ever wondered how to have better hair, how to have thicker hair, how to have longer hair, if they should change their hair color, if they're due for this, if they're due for that. Oh, well, yeah, maybe. So I don't just have to reach the people. I have to reach the place within the person that cares about what I'm talking about. So there's two different kinds of reaches. But when we look at an audience for face value, what we tend to look at, like, what we look at is who are they and what do they look like they. Like, who are they and what does it seem they're capable of? How active are they in the chat? How many. How many. How much do they comment on my stuff? And does it. Does it. Do they make me feel like they're gonna buy it, but they make me feel like they're listening? And so in the terms that I use a lot in my vocabulary, your audience is what it looks like. Your reach is what it is. Now. Your reach is every person who listens to you's entire audience. Because if you move them and they share what you wrote, if you move them and they share what you said, the potential reach is every single person that knows them, and that goes as far out as people are willing to share. So I could have four people watching. My audience is four people. My mom, my aunt, my cousin, and my employee. But if my aunt decides to share my entire. Her entire network has the potential of seeing this video. My reach just expanded. Can. Can you see? And so for me, I always see the voice. It's like a web. We're in the center of this extraordinary web. Your audience is just the first visible part of that web. If you don't like your audience, if you don't think of them highly, if you think those people don't move, those people aren't good enough. Those people would never buy. My people are from this place. They don't have money. They don't have this. If you think that about your audience, what are the chances, energetically, that your audience will feel connected to you enough to want to share you to their network? If energetically, I get the sense from you that you don't value me, what are the chances that I'm going to parade around the block with your. A poster with your face on it saying, this person's great? Like, the chances are quite low? And so this is where I will often talk about people and their power. What does it mean, people and their power? And what is equal power, but different, which is the leadership pattern of the Alpha Fem brand, is that we are all equal power. But different. What's the, what's the difference in power in your audience? So you have people in your audience with buying power. You have people in your audience with influential power. You have people in your audience with networking power. Those are all very different. They look different, they feel different. So if you only value buying power, you start to imagine your entire audience is worthless and you break off your immediate circle, which was the beginning of your web. I don't know about you, but I have experienced before being overlooked because I didn't have buying power. I've been overlooked because people thought, well she's not going to buy from me, so who cares about her? But what they didn't realize is they cut off with me long term networking power, influential power because just a few years later I've built this and it would have been a great collaboration but they didn't see any value in me whatsoever because I didn't have buying power. I really honor every single person that comes into my world. Free, paid, doesn't matter what, because we have equal power, but different. The person that's not in the mood to buy or doesn't feel like they can buy has the power to broadcast me in a network that I would never have been able to reach. The person who doesn't necessarily have a good, a huge network but is really influential might make a post about what I wrote share my post at the bottom and someone in their network that feels influenced by them might have a huge network share that. And all of a sudden I get, I get shared into another huge network. We're not thinking about reach, we're only thinking about audience. And I think that is what makes it that people don't super value their business, their social media presence, their voice, their brand is because they're thinking that people in my, in my audience don't care about this stuff. But I, I'm not only ever thinking about just my audience, I'm thinking about the second degree, the third degree. Who's going to find me as a share of a share that has no context about my heart, my spirit, my kindness. They're going to bank on professionalism first because I had to really think about what do people, what does it matter first, what's better for business? That they know I'm nice and then they find out I'm good or that they know that I'm good and then they find out that I'm nice and I realize what pays you more is they know you're good and then they find out you're nice. You being Nice first, and then they find out you're good. A lot of people drop off before they find out you're good. But when they know you're good and they found out you're a good person, that's a really great match. And so what I realized in my brand is that I didn't need to show that I was nice. That came. If people cared enough about what they saw that they came in, they'd find that out relatively quickly. But to try to showcase that wasn't working for me. And what do we do when we want to look nice? We don't sell too much. We don't take ourselves too seriously. People don't think we're too full of ourselves. We don't celebrate our successes too much. We don't celebrate our client wins too much. We don't. We don't. We don't go foot first with how great we are because it's a little boastful. We don't want people to think we're full of ourselves. So let's be nice. I realized that if I did it the other way, if. When people fell on. On my stuff, they thought, who the heck is that? Who does she think she is? Blah, blah, blah, blah. And then they watched, they'd go, oh, I didn't expect that. And that that was better for business for me. And so I created a platform, I created an audience, I created a voice that was powerful first because people find it, then they care, then they listen. And I know a lot of people will say, only when people care about you will they like. If they feel like they like you and they trust you, will they buy. And that's true. That can be very true. But they don't care about thinking you're nice when they first see you and there's a piece missing. They need to be drawn to you to see you. Then they need to like you, to buy from you. And actually, I. I want to even question that because some of my. Some of my most successful clients, not all of them, because there's always a range, but some of my most successful clients, people don't like them. They are so. They are so in your face that people don't even want to show the world that they buy from them. They don't want to like, they don't want to comment, they don't want to share. They don't want anybody to know. They even associate with them, but they can't stop themselves from buying. So I want to. I want to give you choice to know that you have the kindness of your spirit, how good of a person you are that you have that to bank on, but that you also have your power, your strength, and your brand that's so strong. If you prefer to lead with that, you also can. And that you can go based on phases of who you are and moments of how you're feeling that you can actually go in and out of. I'm leading with my brand or I'm leading with my heart or I'm leading with my connections. But I think it doesn't serve us to completely cut off the part where we lead with power and that it's never available with the voice. I will listen more as a first impression to a person that triggers me than a person who just sounds sweet. And that's the truth for me. So it's better for me to go with a similar thing like, what do I value? Let me build something that's similar to what I value. So one of the things I want you to contemplate after this live stream today is what makes you listen to people? Is it that they're nice? Is that the first thing like, oh, that person's so nice. Let me listen to everything they say? Or is it like this person really looks like they've got. They've done something. This person has really created something. Is it, oh, this person's funny. And I like this someone who makes you feel something. So do they. If maybe it's that they make you laugh, sometimes they make you emotional, maybe they make you mad, maybe they make you something. But what is it? And I want you to contemplate that. What do you value? And have you actually put your brand out, assuming that people value the same thing? Or have you actually imagined what your odd. What. What your people prefer based on who your audience is that you can see? Have you actually branded yourself based on the audience you believe you have? Have you actually been speaking based on the audience that you think you have instead of the reach you could possibly have on this planet? Because if you. If I told you that your reach is everyone that is right for you, everyone, and you get. You get into the zone with that only when you embody the true voice identity. When you get in the zone with your voice identity, it's like a brand, your voice brand. When you find your voice brand, you're going to connect to everyone that's a match for that brand, would you still be wondering, would you still be thinking about who your audience is? Would it even matter if. If you actually really just took this into. Into consideration, the Whole world is a match for my voice brand. So why am I thinking about my audience? Why am I trying to change my audience? Why am I trying to grow my audience? Why am I trying to anything my audience. My audience is just what it looks like. What it is the 7 degree or the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. What it is is the web that goes through the web. And so one thing that I know is that I have a beautiful balance of masculine and feminine energy. What I know about me is that I have a beautiful balance of darkness and light. I'm. I'm willing to go in the shadows. I believe in duality. I rock duality. Like I wrote the assignment, I'm constantly telling people like, this gets to be the greatest thing you ever imagined. And you've got to be able to hold everything. I'm equally realistic as I am idealistic. It's the light and the dark. It's the, the most beautiful nature and the most luxurious things. It's, it's, it's how I speak, it's how I am. It's my, the rawness of my emotion and the beautiful of my aesthetics and the, and that is exactly represented in my visual brand. But if you listen to my voice, you'll get the same feelings. It's kind and it's light and other times it's strong and it's, and it's powerful and it, it holds duality. I don't have just a soft voice. I don't have just a harsh voice. So if you were to actually really listen to my voice and then look at my brand, you would say that voice commands that brand. It does. But when I had a higher pitch voice, I didn't nail Alpha femme like I do now. The voice literally dropped with the confidence. And now I feel like when you hear my voice and you hear Alpha Femme, it works. So you might find that your brand, if you, you are more soft when you speak and you have a, a brand that has to do with goddess codes or something, it's like that really works. If you've got like a happy, really upbeat, super happy voice and you have a girl boss brand, that really works. There is something about the tone when you even say your brand, does it work? Melanie and layer coming to you live. Melanie and layer from Alpha Femme. There's a sound, there's a voice, there's a tone, there's an alignment, a voice, brand alignment. And so I have actually helped a lot of people create and really tap into the embodiment of their brand just by testing how it sounds when they say it. So have you guys ever heard of muscle testing? You know how some people, they'll put their arm out straight, and then you press on their arm to see whether their beliefs hold. You can actually do this with your voice and see if your voice feels constricted when you say something. Like, I can tell by listening to someone when they're like, so I'm the. I'm the goddess millionaire. And it's like how I have never made a million dollars, but that's my goal. But I can feel it in your voice. Whereas someone who would have been a millionaire and that has the feminine energetics would say, like, I'm the goddess millionaire. And I would hear it in the softness of their voice. But there is a. In your voice. When you're not speaking your right brand name, it sounds different. And so what might be cool is to think of some of the names that you've been thinking about right now for your brand. And also, our brands get to change. But right now, with the way the sound of your voice is, when you say your brand, can you feel like there's a little bit of a. That's not exactly real, not exactly true. Like, I. I am alpha femme. Hello, My name is Melanie Ann Layer, and I'm the leader of Alpha femme is not the same. And it's not that you need to change your brand. It might just be that you realize, whoa, I haven't dropped into my power when I speak. I haven't dropped into it. What I found for me, and I'm not saying that this is for everyone. You need to check it, because some people have a naturally higher tone, but some people push a naturally higher tone. You know what I mean? Like, it's not that your voice is higher when you're speaking to other people, when you speak to your partner, and your partner is, you know, on your having a moment where you're. They're on your bad side, and you say, how many times I need to tell you, all of a sudden, you're not squeaky anymore. It's kind of magical like that. Or when you tell your children, how many times did I tell you? You do not walk in the house with your shoes on. All of a sudden, that. Not that cute little squeak that you give everyone else is out the window. So, like, where's. Where's your actual voice tone? Where is it in your body? And what are you trying to avoid when you don't let yourself touch it? So what I realized energetically is that when I actually Let the sound of my own voice reverberate through my body and through my. Through my mouth with absolutely no resistance. When there's none, when it just goes, I feel it in my sacral. I feel my voice all the way through the power centers of my body. Like my voice in its power activates something inside of me. And that is something I was not ready to activate before. I was afraid of my power. My sacral is so sacral. Authority, money, sex, and power. Three things I did not have. And so my voice disconnected from my sacral. Kind of felt like a little all here, pushing it above, trying to say what I want to say. Everything's in the head, head, above the throat. When you start to embody your voice, it resonates throughout your body. You feel it in your identity. You feel it in your sacral. You feel it. You feel it. Feel it in your freaking feet. Like, this is all that I am. My voice is all that I am. And so practicing speaking, not just to say things like this. High up. Hello, this is Melannie Ann Layer coming to you live from my living room. I'm here today because I want to talk to you about integrity. And I want to talk to you about the power of the voice. This is such an amazing topic, and I learned this and I've been studying it for so many years. And I just want to tell you about when you drop it in your body. I want to talk to you about the power of your voice. This is something I've been studying for years. I feel it in my whole body. But then you've got to feel yourself. Then you've got to deal with yourself. Then you're going to see there's a bunch of stuff that comes up. And this is why being an alpha femme is more than just how to be successful on the way that you look. Because I will tell you that you becoming successful is going to be a whirlwind for you. It's going to make you cry. You won't even know why. It's going to make you turned on. You'll be like, what the heck is wrong? What's right? What's up? What's this? It's going to make you feel alive. It's going to make you feel things you have not felt and you have not wanted to feel. You will feel magnetic. You'll walk out places and people will notice you. They'll talk to you. You'll be like, I don't know if I like this or not. Bring the voice back up here. Hello, you will. You will disconnect your power to feel safe. You'll do all kinds of strange things. We do all kinds of strange things to avoid our power. Your voice is a power center. It is a very powerful power center. But if you can imagine, if you take a speaker and you submerge it underwater and you don't let it be free, the sound is muffled. A lot of us, our entire energetic field is muffled because we're completely immersed underwater. Your voice is your willingness to be completely of service to the world you give yourself. Speak through me. How often before I come live, before I do a live call, please give me what I meant to tell these people. I promise to give them back to you better than you lent them to me. I. I feel something bigger than me speaks through me. I'm a conduit. I'm a vessel. I can. I can channel things that aren't even. Sometimes I wonder how I know things like, where did that come from? Where did this thought come from? Where did this. This idea come from? It came from alignment. It came from, the vessel is ready. Push the message. This is the correct voice. So we become transmitters. When you just have a head, you're not going to broadcast to the world, but when you put your entire body into it, you become a transmitter of messages. Your mission, your work, but guided by the hands of God, Mother Nature, the universe, the greatest voice you could have ever been supported and constantly held. People ask me, like, how. And this was on the Q A thread. How do you always know what to say? I don't always know what to say. I always trust what I'll say. That's so different. But I always come in anytime I'm speaking with. There's a reason I'm speaking and there's an intention for my speaking. Whether I get interviewed on a podcast or whether I go on a live stream or whether it's a module for a program. I'm going to get clear before I go on, what's. What's the reason for this talk? And so when we're going into strategy, and let me just make sure there's nothing else I wanted to say before we went into strategy. Do I want to say that part now? The thing is, when. When you are brought onto a platform, a lot of times people will want to guide the conversation so energetically. You have to be in alignment with whoever's going to ask you to speak, but you also have to be very clear about your standard in speaking. And so some of the questions on the Q and A thread Were also, when you're in an interview or you're interviewing people, how do you make sure they're speaking? You can't make sure they're speaking, but your speaking influences their speaking. Have you noticed when I speak to you, especially in the context of broadcast, because you're paying attention, you feel different in your body when you listen to me than when you listen to most things, it activates a different thing. Like, if I were to ask you to speak back to me, you would probably speak differently right now based on how you're feeling. Do you get that sense in your body, something's being activated. So when you're in a conversation with someone, you're not just talking at them. You are. You are lighting something up inside of them. You're activating them. So in a conversation with a person who's an activator, the other person's standard rises. So your intention as you enter the room is so important. A lot of times I come onto a podcast, people like, okay, so, so excited that you're here. I don't usually have a plan. I just kind of like to riff. And whenever they say that, I know I'm in charge of the conversation. I don't want them to feel that that's not the goal. But I know in that moment, they don't have an intention. For this podcast, that means my intention wins. Because we can't both go into this with no intention or no one's getting nothing. So what I'm thinking every time I do a podcast is like, what. What is it that I want a listener to listen to this, to really walk away with? And some days it's like, I want people to walk away with the feeling that they could do anything. Other days is I want them to really feel empowered around money. Other days, I really want them to feel empowered around leadership. Other days, I want to help them. Especially if I've studied the audience of the person's podcast I'm going on, and I know who they are, the. The audience and the. The person I'm speaking to, because that's going to impact my range. I can say, like, let me speak to people who wish they could be something. Let me speak to the beginning of my journey, where I started and what I became. Let me speak to the evolution. But if you join a podcast and your thought is, I hope I nail it. I hope I do good. I hope I don't mess this up. I hope I don't forget what to say. I hope I don't get too nervous. I hope I don't talk too much. I hope I don't talk too loud. I hope I don't say too much or so too much. Can you imagine the vibrational alignment of that podcast versus the one where you're like, my intention is for every listener here to have an actual change in the way they perceive money. Like you will, in that context, operate at a higher level, because now you're a speaker, now you've got a purpose, now it's of service. So what I found is at the moment you add the context of service to your speaking, all of the tactical things actually start to change. You will say less when it's about them and not you. When you're afraid you're going to mess up on the words you say. When you are so committed to their evolution, you say a lot less. It feels like you're running out of time. And you only have one hour to pour all of the messages of the universe into this one call. Your words will be solid, but you gotta trust in something bigger than you. I'm a speaker, and I trust that I will always have the right words, what I'm supposed to say, because I'm connected to Mother Nature, God, the universe. This is not something I'm doing for validation. This is something I'm doing for service. And it just so happens that I love it. And that's such a different. Such a different experience. Let me just. Yeah. So what we really want here is to start opening our minds not just to who's my immediate audience, but how does this audience impact my ideal reach? And what's crazy is when you do that, you may actually transform your audience. So if I'm speaking in this camera and who I'm speaking for is the. The women on the planet who are actually ready not to do better, not to. Not to. To change a bit, to literally rewrite womanhood with me. Like, this has never been done before. Alpha femme is a new concept on the planet. This is like new world order. Alpha femme. Who are the women who are literally like, I don't care about betterment. I want rewriting history. Like, let's go. If I speak to those women, then the people that are in my network are either they have that available somewhere, it's somewhere in their body, and I'm going to light it up. Or they might say, gosh, this young lady is so interesting and so great, or this old lady is so interesting and so great, depending on how old they are when they're watching me, or, this girl's so great, I'M going to share this. And someone in their audience will say, that's freaking me. That's me. That's me. That's me. That's me. That's me. And so this is what, this is. What has started to really change in my rapid growth is that I haven't just spoken to the audience. I spoke to the audience's reach, the reach deep inside their spirit and the reach actually of their network. And I've grown way faster without ever needing a paid ad to run a paid ad to a challenge to a thing. Like, we suck at ads so bad. I tried it. I just don't. I don't. I. One day I'll crack the code, I believe. But, like, my voice works better than any algorithm because it's tapped into the God zone. I'm not doing it for sales, I'm not doing it for likes. I'm doing it for service. I'm so clear about that. I'm speaking to the reach, not the audience. So it always is. Expanding just that energetically is going to change the way you show up in every conversation that you're in. Not about your audience, it's about your reach. I don't care as much. Not, I don't care at all, but I don't care as much whether the person I'm speaking to gets it. I care if they get it so much that they go talk about it at the dinner table. I. I care that they like it so much that they end up talking about me to their, you know, their, their company and saying, I think that you need to listen to this because this would be a great training for our company. I care that it impacts a person and the way that they raise their kids is different, and then those kids grow up to be something different. I care about the reach, not the audience. So with that kind of visionary reach, with that way of seeing we're different people. And I love reading that. I love reading that. And so your audience is basically where you might see a standing ovation. Your reach is where your, your life lives beyond your life. Like, I don't care as much about the standing ovation. I care about this work going far beyond our lives. That's what I care about, and that's reach. Now, in your business, when you're running a business, you can run out of an audience. You can sell to everyone in your audience. That's actually a thing. My audience is tapped out. Have you ever heard people say that? My audience is tapped out. My audience is sick of hearing about me talk about this, my audience is. This is my audience. My audience. But you would not say my reach is tapped out. That's impossible. So why are we not focusing on the thing that never runs out? Let's focus on the thing that never runs out. Speak for your reach, not your audience. Then you will never have the excuse of like, I don't think my audience has the money. I don't think my audience cares. I don't think my audience understands. Then speak to your reach. They will come. This is the Internet. This is the power of the tool we have in our hands right now. It's not even about who we know. It's about the reach available through those people. That's the power of this. And when you get that, it changes the way you show up. Now, what's very important, though, is that as you reach, you will also, unfortunately, touch people that you didn't mean to touch. Oops. This is going to happen. So you reach really far to go and reach the people you want to reach. But then you graze the wrong group, and they're like, why did you touch me? I hate what you're doing. Don't touch me. And you're like, oh, no, I really didn't want to touch you. I was. It was a mistake. I was reaching over there for those people, and I kind of grazed you. Like, I'm so sorry. This was an accident. Wrong door, wrong address. I did not mean to. Trust me, I want you here less than you want to be here. Like, this was a mistake, but this happens. It's actually impossible that it doesn't happen. And so a lot of people will literally not reach out of fear of who they'll touch when they reach. Can you feel that? So you have also, in this process, got to become so freaking strong because you are going to accidentally graze the wrong group while you're reaching. And it has got to be something that you can regulate in your nervous system or else you're going to shut down. And so part of your voice is understanding that the power is bigger than you. Your voice is bigger than you. I'm right here sitting in the couch, and my voice is in your ears. All over Canada, all over the US all over Europe. I've got clients in Singapore, in. In Korea. I have clients in Russia and in Ukraine and in. In. In. I have clients in Bali, Thailand. I have clients in Norway. I have clients in Iceland. I have clients in Panama and Jakarta. Like, but where am I? C3. 3. That's what I've got. You've got that you've got that coupled with the Internet, we can do anything. But it can't be for likes. It can't be above the head, and it can't be if I'm afraid I'm going to graze somebody while I reach. Because it's. It's impossible for me to reach into the Internet from Montreal, Canada, and reach my arm to try to touch Jakarta without grazing a few places I didn't want to touch. It's not possible. But you've got to be responsible for your desire to reach and not take it personally, but rather take it personally. Like, I get it that I touched you. I'm touching a lot of people. Wasn't my intention. Didn't want you here, but you're here. I'm going to deal with it. I know it's not about me. I definitely know that. Is there anything I can learn here? Is there anything of value? Perfect. I feel complete. Oh, you want to stick around and me mad. All right, well, that'll test my patience. Let's give this a shot. It has to be a part of how you grow your power, because you only have two choices. Once you've touched a group you don't want to touch, and that is you keep going or you don't. You alter your message because they've become a part of your audience, or you don't. And this is the hardest thing. But the beautiful thing about this conversation is when you're focused on your reach and not your audience, even when you accidentally graze a group you didn't want in your audience, you're no longer. You're not just speaking for your audience, you're speaking for your reach. Without this conversation, you now fear your audience. So you stop talking because the wrong people are in your audience and you're afraid. But lucky for us, we don't talk to audiences. We talk for reach. And what happens is when you speak to reach and you ignore the audience, especially the parts that survive off the validation of your anger, they shrivel up and go find someone else to bother. Because the one thing, the only purpose of an online disgruntled person is to be seen. It's that whole if you can't join them, try to tear them down on the Internet kind of thing. And so if you give them no juice, it goes against everything that. That they do this for. Like, they are not being complete jerks on the Internet just to be ignored. They don't have time for that. They're putting a lot of energy into this. You guys. Like, we have to give them what they want or else they're not going to mess around with us. They don't have time to lose and time to waste. Like we. They either infuriate us to the nth degree or like they'll move on. Let them move on. If you have people that are mad, that are angry, they're this or that, you just keep speaking to your reach. It's like you accidentally entered my audience. Lucky for me, I speak to my reach and you are. You do not qualify as who I'm reaching for. But this will strengthen you. Oh, my gosh. You will become so strong. You've got to trust your voice. You did not attract or manifest people in your world or in your reach or your. In your world or in your audience to punish you if anything. You attracted them to show you how far you were reaching and to work on some skills. Because if we could only do this when it's easy, that's not much of a point. Not going to be changing much. There's an energetic match to easy. So it gets to be fun, it gets to be great, it gets to be rewarding, it gets to be fulfilling, it gets to be life changing. And there's also going to be bumps along the road. But as you conquer those, you're going to feel like a freaking warrior. That's the other thing. To be an alpha femme is to be a warrior of the spirit. Like, I have got this. I've got it all. You know, I. God cuts my paychecks and the divine speaks through me and I'm, I'm supported and my voice touches the entire planet. And I was born with. In a world when the Internet set my fingertips. Try to stop me with what I got this. This is the kind of power we want to be connecting with. So you want to think about, yes, who's my dream audience or who do I love in my audience? Like, I really enjoy when I can moving through the zoom. Like right now I can move this little arrow and I can choose who I'm looking at. And I like to go through and look at, look at you. And if one of you gets up or answers the phone or talks to someone, I'll sometimes change the. The five or six people I'm seeing so that I see a different audience. One that's actually watching me and one that's actually nodding with me and that I can tell is there and in the room because it changes my energy. Obviously, when I know that the audience that is there is engaged 100%, you will get Better of me when you're listening. You will get better of me when you're engaged, that's for sure. And if it really didn't serve me to watch any of you, and that has happened, then I put myself. I put myself there and I just look at myself and I get in the zone with my own eyes and that's it. But you get to look and say, look, let me cultivate my dream audience, but let me know that my bigger purpose is the reach. Always. The audience shows me what I'm doing. My reach shows me what I could do. The audience is the field of predictability. The reach is the field of potentiality, where the sky isn't even the limit, where there's no income cap, where you could do anything. This is so powerful. So powerful. The reach above the audience. But still notice who your audience is. Just don't tailor your work to them. Notice if it's working. Like when I see that my audience is only people who tell me, oh, my gosh, Melanie, I wish I could do this, but I can't. I wish I could do this, but I can't. I wish I could do this, but I can't. I'll realize, I think I've been speaking to an audience that I think can't do this, and I've attracted them, so I've forgotten my reach. Go back to the reach the audience shows you, whether you're in alignment with the reach you're speaking to or not. That's a really great way to look at it. Okay, so when it comes to actually growing your platform, the strategies are this. You have your own platform where you can absolutely just say every day. You can go live every day if you want. You can write a post every day if you want. And you say, I am writing this for my reach, not my audience. I am getting out of my brain about who's watching me. And I am saying this for the one person who might find me. That's the right energy for me. The reason you don't want to go live is because of the audience you have. If you think of your reach, you will want to go live. You'll think, imagine all the people that are coming. And, you know, even in. In. In sales and in my clients, do you know how often it is someone finds me in the morning and by the night, they're buying something already. You can't get in your head about who your audience is. Your audience is not your reach. I want to reach. I want to find someone new tomorrow that pays tomorrow night. I Want to find someone new on Friday that pays on Friday night? I want to. I want someone on Saturday while I'm off to find the live stream I did on Thursday and buy something and then watch the live stream I did on Friday and then buy something again. I want to be omnipresent on the Internet. I want to be everywhere. And I want everything that I put out there to be a match for a range, not an audience. Because then I can constantly be growing. So the strategy for your own growth is created content for your reach. That's your strategy when you're speaking to people and you're. There's opportunities to either do joint ventures, meaning let's do a joint livestream together, and then my audience will get to see. And your audience will get to see when you do a summit where it's like, let's 10 of us get together and everybody's audience gets to see when you do a podcast where it's like I'm speaking on another platform. Those are all strategies to enhance your range. Every time you go into someone's audience to speak, you are literally enhancing your range exponentially every single time that you have an aligned person and their stage. So how do we figure out who to do this with? Because one of the mistakes people make in the beginning is I'll go everywhere. Let me just go on everything. And I did not do that. I was selective from the beginning. And I want to tell you how I selected. I did not go on people's podcast if I felt like they were trying to be famous, because then I knew we were not going to be on the same page about the listeners. And I knew I was not going to feel the way I wanted to feel on the podcast. So you're looking for visionary podcasters. You're looking for people who know who their audience are and who know who their reach is. And the thing is, when you start to speak like this, you become extremely valuable. So let's say you have a podcast of your own and you pitch it and you say, I have a podcast. The current audience for this podcast is female entrepreneurs, but we're reaching for the kind of people who want to grow million dollar a year businesses, build families, have amazing relationships. Like we're looking the reaches for women who really want to succeed in all areas of life. Do you feel that you could bring value to this audience and this reach? You're going to get a very different answer from the people you're pitching your podcast to. Then would you like to be featured on my podcast? It's averaging 1200 listeners a week. One is like, this is how many people are going to see you. The other one is, here's the change you can affect when you pitch yourself as a speaker. If you say, my current audience in my world listen to me because of this, this, this, and my reach, where I've spoken, the platforms I speak to and what I enjoy and where I bring value are people who. So whether you're pitching your podcast or whether you're pitching yourself on a podcast, if you don't value the audience and you don't value the context and the reason that you speak, you're going to get less interesting people to come speak on your platform or that are going to want to interview you. It'll just be like, oh, yeah, yay, someone wants to talk to me. Oh, yeah, yay. We're putting stuff out there, but it's not who's listening and why are they listening. And so this is important because I'm going to put up a thread here for people to pitch themselves as a speaker and to pitch your podcast, I'm going to put those up today. And if you feel ready, it doesn't matter if you don't feel ready yet, don't stress about it, just do it. If you feel ready, if you feel excited. But if you would like to start thinking about, if you have a podcast, who's your audience now? But what's the reach like? Ideally, you want speakers who will expand your network into what? Ideally, you want conversations that will expand your network into what? And you want to do this not so big that you lose touch. So what does this mean? You're just beginning your, your entrepreneur journey. And so you might say, let's say you're just starting a podcast, and right now you're making a thousand dollars a month with your business. You're not making a lot of money, but what you really care about is giving moms a sense of purpose, a feeling of passion, and a belief that they could be more. And so when you pitch your podcast, you say, I have a podcast that's meant for either moms that are thinking of becoming entrepreneurs or women who are have jobs that want to become entrepreneurs, who honestly, like a thousand dollars a week would change their entire life. And they are looking for stories of people who either either did it or they're looking for some sort of inspiration or motivation or something that's going to help them on their journey. When you speak like that, even I might say, I, I want to do it. I remember making $1,000 a month. I. I'll come because your story is compelling, because what you're saying makes sense. I'll do it. You might get people who value the story. Who are these people? Who is it for? Why? What's the value for. For them. It doesn't serve you to. To say just because it sounds better. We help. I have a. I have a podcast, and, you know, I want to. I want to change the world because the reach doesn't connect. It might build to that. That might be your vision, your mission. But where are you right now? Where. If you could build from there, it would be really meaningful. You might say, we have a podcast right now. And the podcast is for rela. Women in relationships that are having not the best time. And so this is for people who, they're coming in either to hear stories of what's possible, because at this point they're like, is this what all relationships are like? This is terrible. Or they're wanting to hear stories of women who were in bad relationships, got out of their relationship, are now single and happy. Or they want to hear about plot twists where relationship was not going well. Plot twist. Now it's going well. Do you know somebody that would be good to be on this podcast? Some people would be like, me. I had a terrible relationship. I was sep. I got separated, and now I'm in the best relationship. Or I am single and I'm living my best life. I want to be on this. Or I have a friend. Oh, my gosh, I'm going to tell my friend about your podcast. Or I'm. I would not be good for this, but I want to listen to it. It's when you're able to really touch. Why is it there? Who is the. Who is your ideal reach? Who are you talking to? Why are you creating this, this podcast? Why are you creating it? What's. What's the reason? That's what's going to start activating people. If you have a podcast and it's like, this is a podcast to inspire people to start making $10,000 a month. And so who I want to speak to, the people I'm looking to interview are people who've either made $10,000 a month, people who are making $10,000 a month, People who are so close to $10,000 a month. I want to talk about what that feels like. Like, all in that range. And from time to time, if someone has made like 50 or 60,000, that's like five or six times what these women want. I'd love to interview you. Just to give them the mindset. If you can do 60, they can do 10. That could be valuable for us. But you wouldn't just be like, everyone's valuable. Because then you. You miss the message. But the message changes over time, and that's also okay. So you're going to contemplate what's your pitch as a speaker and what's your platform, what's your podcast, what are you looking for? What's going to be valuable for me, for you, for us? Sometimes what's valuable is a person with a big network. Sometimes what's valuable is a person with an extraordinary voice. So maybe they don't have a huge network, but when they speak, oh, my gosh. This is. This is why people had me on their podcast. People like, I watched a Facebook live of yours. Would you speak on my podcast? I had no audience. I was not rich yet. But people would watch my live streams and be like, I want that voice on my podcast. So if you've got one of your Facebook lives that you're like, this is really good. This is really solid, you can send it to a person on the podcast, say, this is what this is. The. An example or an excerpt of me speaking. This is the kind of audience I tend to want to speak to. Based on what your podcast is about, I think I'd be a perfect fit. You can pitch yourself. And if you get the response that it's not the right fit, here's an amazing question to ask. Thank you so much for your feedback. What would you need to see in order for this to be relevant for you to have me on your podcast in the future? What metrics are missing for you? So they might tell you you would need to have a bigger audience. Or they would have to say the topic isn't correct. Or they would say, they would give. Tell you, why not get the feedback? If you think you're a right fit for someone and they say no, say, do you mind just telling me what. What can I work on? What metrics can I work on to come back in, in later months where it might fit for you? And if they're like, honestly, it has nothing to do with that. It's just the topic you're speaking about really isn't the same as what I'm looking for. Like, it's just not the right topic to say, oh, well, I actually have other topics. This is this. Oh, okay, well, then I want to talk about this. Don't take it personally. Remember how we said, like, this is not an opportunity to judge yourself. Ever. Your voice is your broadcast. It's your channel. So we're looking at where does this make sense? What partnership makes sense to partner up with this channel? It's got to be valuable to you and it's got to be valuable to the other channel. If you think it would be valuable and the other channel doesn't see it, ask them what's missing for you, for you to see value. Is there something I can work on or no judgment. The goal is just growth. We can handle everything else. So that is today's mission. Now, I do want to say for those of you who are coming for the the human design, defined and undefined throats, if you have the gold card, you've already received an email with it. If you don't have the gold card, if the Alpha Femme team wouldn't mind just dropping the link here in the comment section. If you want to just copy paste that or open a side browser so that you have it, it's going to be on Monday the 19th. And it does give you an option if you want to learn more about the gold card to. To learn more about the gold card in there as well. But if you just want to get it from there, you can get it directly from there. So if the Alpha Femme team wants to put it in the. The link in the comment section, that would be perfect. Yeah. So when you have the gold card, you have access, basically because you're in the Alpha Femme, the We Are Alpha Femm membership. So you either pay for it monthly or you receive it for free. Being in We Are Alpha Femme. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Okay, so the last. So the, the homeworks here are you're going to think about reach versus audience. What have you thought about your audience? What have you. What have you limited. Yes, it is included in AFE Next. Afe, AFE Next. And we are Alpha Femme. All have access to the gold card. You just have to register for it so you can use it. Okay, so you're thinking about how have I gotten so focused on my audience that I've forgotten my reach? And where have I limited myself with my audience? What have I said about this audience? That they're too much. This they're not enough. This they don't get it. And then can I move that? Can I move that out of my mind? And can I start focusing on my audience, on my reach? And if I were focusing on my reach, what would I be thinking and what would I be doing and where would I be speaking? If I actually understood the power of My reach. So that's the first thing to contemplate. And the second thing you're going to do is if you're ready, and it doesn't have to be today if you're not ready, but if you're ready, you can put on the podcast thread. You'll be able to put your podcast, what's the name of it, and what are you doing with it? Who, what's the reach of this? You know, what are you currently doing? What are you looking for? Share with people because I would love for you to leave this broadcast with lined up podcasts, with lined up joint ventures, or at least with the willingness to say, I'm not ready to do that. So let me start doing live streams on my own so I can figure out what I'm good at speaking about. So I can actually have a piece that I could give to someone and say, here's a segment of me speaking like, let me start building this thing. No wonder I don't want to. I'm stuck. I've not done anything to build my, my Rolodex like I need to. I got this. Let's do this. So then you would either pitch your podcast, pitch yourself as a speaker, or go live again. Practice. You can practice in the group as much as you want or practice on your own personal pages. Get your voice out there. Notice in your body when you are here, when you're trying to avoid your feelings and your heart, your identity in your body, your money, sex, power, like you're on fire and something's going on and you're like, whoa, my power is activated and you shut it all down and you go back up here, notice your body, how you shut it down or how you open it up. There's huge things that can come to you just from you speaking from pure alignment. You speak from pure alignment, you can access the world. And in today's day and age, that's not a joke, it's a promise. So enjoy. Have fun with this, play around with this. Do not judge yourself. We're all going to the same place and if we go together, it's just going to be more fun and a lot easier. So thank you, thank you. Thank you all. I appreciate it today. I had so much fun with you and I look forward to tomorrow's Q A. It's the same thread, so if you have any other questions, you just add them on that same Q and A thread as we have and tomorrow I'm going to go deep again with the questions. Thank you for everything. And I shall see you tomorrow.
They call me sassy When I'm scrolling down the street? They call me classy when I'm serving? Just the best? Just the best? They call me sassy When I'm slowing down the street? They call me crazy? Just, Just the best?
Your money, sex power. Like you're on fire and something's going on, and you're like, whoa, My power is activated. And you shut it all down, and you go back up here. Notice your body, how you shut it down or how you open it up. There's huge things that can come to you just from you speak.
