Currency - Module 1

This is a YouTube video titled "Currency - Module 1" created on August 24, 2023. The content likely covers an educational or informational module about currency, but no conversational dialogue or multiple speakers are indicated in the excerpt.
Sam. Hello, gorgeous human beings. And welcome to Currency, the official first module. Okay, let me open. There's a lot of people on camera. This makes me me happy. Ricky in the house. Michaela is here. Carolina is here. Jen. Let's see who else do I have here? There's a big thing in the way. Let's move this. Naja is here. Margotandy, Adana. Noela, Noelia. Oh, I love that. Emma's here. Lynn. I love you. Jenna. Oh my gosh. Some of my close people are here. Leticia, Valerie, let's see you again. Yay. Tamara, Francesca. Pascal, Jenny, Jennifer, Nadine. This is so great. Kat, so good to see you. Katerina. Oh my gosh, so many beautiful faces. I think I saw Mona somewhere on here. Didn't I see Mona? Mona's blast from the past. I'm so happy. Yes, I did see Mona. This is so cool. Hi, Heather. Oh my gosh. So many new faces too. Odessa, I love your hat. I loved your post. I want to tell you I am loving reading your posts. I am loving reading your posts like these. These have been some of the most extraordinary first call introductions I've ever seen. The homework that's been done has been out of this world. If I haven't said hello to you personally. Hello. Thank you for being on camera. Thank you for being here. I can already feel the vibes. It feels so, so good. Thank you for being here. So just so I know any, anyone here? Afe, do we have like Matrix channel, Unity in the house? Yeah, former afb. That always makes me so happy too. That's so good. Amazing. And do we have anyone here that's actually in the membership that's not afe, but it's in the membership that, that purchased this program? No. I'm so excited. Well, thank you for being here. And a reminder, if you're new, the people who are new, give me one of these if you. This is your first ever, like paid program with me. Honestly, this is. I'm having the time of my life. This is really cool. Today's module builds on yesterday's module in a very important way. So we are all the them in the house. Yay. Welcome. My first course with you. That's brilliant. Well, welcome, welcome back. I'm just really happy to see you here. So yesterday's module is really important because we needed to set something straight for all of us to be able to have a real conversation that I think this, this program is really about having a real conversation about why it is that we still struggle with this even Though we don't need to. And some people don't struggle and can't even imagine there's something to struggle about. Like, they don't get it, why they would even be a struggle. It seems so simple. And as a matter of fact, there are people who separate money from worth so much that they do terrible things and they're still rich. Isn't that weird? Like, isn't that awful? Like, I don't want us to get there, because the goal, you know, in the alpha femme world is that we are extraordinary people and we are financially free. But it just goes to show, like, you can't even attach your worthiness to your wealth because there's too many bad people making money for that to be possible. So we don't want to associate with that. But it's a good thing to think, like, oh, yeah, good point. Working so hard to be nice over here, wondering why the nice guys don't get paid so much, because it's not the niceness that creates the wealth. And that's what I really want to dig into with you. So what I've loved about the homeworks that you've shared and what really has touched my heart are some of the breakthroughs around your own value and your own worth and realizing, like, what the heck have I been saying to myself? I'm not worth? What does that even mean? And really noticing that when you try to say I'm not valuable, it's like, that's not flying. It's true that that doesn't fly. I wouldn't say that. So there is an understanding that this, this word has just kind of slipped through your subconscious and kind of made it through when it wasn't supposed to make it through. And so now we're dealing with this very mature conversation, which is that basically you're valuable because you're rare, you're unique, and you're limited edition, and that's just life. But then if you want to be valuable in the workplace, this is a completely different conversation. And it has very little to do with whether you were born worthy or not. Like, you were born worthy and nothing has changed. You were born full potentiality. Nothing has changed. You were born valuable. Nothing has changed. But why is it that you're not being paid a hundred thousand dollars a year as a front desk clerk at a supermarket, even though you're a valuable person, why can't you just be paid more than if you're a valuable person? And I, I get this because I so clearly wondering, like, who do I need to impress around here in order for somebody to realize that I should be paid more. But the somebody that's the most important that needs to realize that I should be paid more is me. This I'm the somebody that's got to realize. And so there's one very important distinction I want to make with you. And this is going to be an interesting thing for you to notice even about yourself inside this program as you notice other people. As you notice yourself inside this program. There is a very interesting thing about value, which is that it is a lived experience and is a personal lived experience. So you remember what we talked about yesterday? There was a point where I explained that some famous people are valuable to people because some people like to not like people. You remember when I said that? So you're valuable to me because I admire you and you make me imagine what's possible. Or you're valuable to me because you give me something I can be mad at that makes me not mad at my partner tonight or not mad at my boss, or not mad at some. Like I can be mad at you and get all my anger out and I can get real mad at you and I can get all my anger out and I don't even need to wreck my friendships. I can just channel all of that hatred and self clothing towards you. Thank you for existing. I'm so grateful. Right, so we're really using this value. Like this is valuable to me because so if we put this in normal things, like your fridge is valuable and so is your garbage bin, but you put trash in it. Yes, but it is highly valuable. There are things in your life that are valuable to you even though they're trash. And this is an interesting concept because you will often find yourself wondering why is it then, if it's all about value, that things that have no value, quote unquote, Things that have no value are, you know, making tons of money. Like, one may wonder how on earth the person who invented the fart apparently is a millionaire. How, how does that happen? How valuable is an application that creates fart noises, you may ask. Well, it's as valuable as a trash can, but guess what? Someone invented that too. So what are we looking at? We're looking at, is there a difference between valuable and valuable to me? Yes, very big difference between valuable and valuable to me. There is such a big difference between. This is so valuable. Like let's say a diamond is valuable, but would I pay $5 million for a raw diamond? No, because it's not valuable to me right now. In this moment, I don't have $5 million to spend on a raw diamond. Whereas someone else would say, are you kidding me? $5 million for a raw diamond? Where is it? I, I could create a piece that's worth $7.5 million with my equipment and my gold and my things. Where is this diamond? I need to see it. It might be very valuable to me. So we can agree something is valuable. Yeah. If you give a raw, a beautiful five million dollar diamond to Elisa Cheetham, she'll be very excited about that because she will make us the most exquisite piece of jewelry we've ever seen in all of our lives and, and make a fortune from it. If you give it to me, I'll just need to put it in a safe somewhere and be very stressed about the diamond. So what are we trying to figure out here is what's the difference in this life between something being valuable, period, where we can all agree, like, there's a value? Like, this house is being valued at this much, this diamond is being valued at this much, this company is being valued at this much, this position is valued at this much, this career typically ranges this much. What is like an agreed upon value that the world agrees upon versus what is like, so valuable you can't even put a value on it? Like, if I were to ask you, how much is your puppy worth, your dog worth that you've had for 15 years? Like, how do you put a price on your dog? You just can't. There's just, there's no price. How valuable is your partner? Like, what's the price? How much, how much for your husband? On a bad day, it's like, you can have him. On a good day, you're like, there's no price. Never. What is it? What's the value of a thing? Like, sometimes it's priceless. It's impossible. How do you price a family? I don't, I don't ever say this properly because it's either something meaningful or a tomato. But a family heirloom, I think that's correct. Anyway, so how do you price one of those where it's like, we've had this in our family for 25 years. How do you price it? If I say yes, but the weight of the gold and the fact that this part is scratched, this devalues it. So we can only give you this much. But what's the difference between what it's worth to me in my heart and what it's worth to me and money? Those things are also different. You might Pay more for a house you really want, because it's really close to something that's valuable to you. It's right next to your job, or it's right next to your aging parents, or it's right next to something that really makes it more valuable to you. Whereas someone else would say, it's not worth that to me. It's not that valuable enough to me. So we want to understand also, and this is such an important piece before we even dive into the currency of things, what is important to me versus what is important, period, is so different. And this is why we can't be looking for other people, for authority in what our worth is. Because what matters to me and what matters to you is entirely different. Because I can't say, it's worth this to me. And you say it's worth this to me. And now my worth is the same as your worth. It isn't. So I'm going to give you an example that is very beautiful visual here. Let's say, for example, I tell you I want to be a chef, and I would like you to figure out for me how much you think I could get paid per hour to do what I'm going to tell you right now what I'm going to do, what I'm able to do as a chef, and you tell me how much you think I could get paid. Okay? So here's what I do. Get. Go into the kitchen, and I turn the. I take out a pan, I put it on the burner, and I turn the burner on. Pat gets real hot. And I open the fridge and I take out an onion, and I close the fridge. Then I turn around and get a cutting board and put that out, and then realize I'm not quite ready for the oil. So turn that off. And then I go and take out a knife, bring it to the cutting board, and then I open the fridge again, and then I take out some garlic, and then I turn the pan back on, and then I realize I should probably put some oil or some butter in it or something. So up in the fridge again, and then I get some butter out, and then I put some butter in the pan, and then I cut up the onions. And this whole. Whole thing takes me about, you know, an hour. And I tell you, I have been cooking for an hour. How much am I worth in this hour so far to you? If you own a restaurant, how much would you like to pay me right now, in this moment, to have done what I just did? So if you can imagine, I'm not even asking you kind of restaurant you have like for you, what's the first thing that you want to what comes to your mind? What do you want to pay me? You want to pay me nothing. Now do you want to pay me nothing because I'm a worthless human being, or do you want to pay me nothing because I haven't cooked anything yet? Or do you not want to pay me anything because I haven't served any clients any food yet, which means you're not making any profit? Okay, so now let's just change this thing a little bit. What if your restaurant only needs me to warm up butter, onions and garlic in a pan, add the chicken that you've already cooked for me to reheat it and put it on a plate, and that's all you actually need me to do. Now, how much do you pay me per hour? If most of the recipes are already done, this is how we reheat. Reheat them. That's all I do. We need fresh butter, fresh onions, fresh garlic, and I reheat in that pan. What is it that you would like to pay me if this is your restaurant? Are you feeling this is a minimum wage kind of thing? Are you feeling this is a medium to high paid, or am I like Michelin star range at this point? What do you think? So we're pretty much in agreement now. Now I'm making minimum wage. How interesting is that? Because five seconds ago I was making nothing. Okay, now let's change this up. This is the most high traffic restaurant in New York City. We get approximately 200 clients an hour. And all I need to do is chop up garlic and onions and butter and reheat what's there. And we get about 200 orders an hour. And I do that. Am I still making minimum wage? We're one of the most sought out restaurants in all of New York, and I'm actually cutting up enough onions and garlic and stuff to pump out 200 orders. Are you still giving me minimum wage? I just got a raise. At first I was making nothing. Now I got a raise for minimum wage. What changed is how valuable I am to you, how valuable I am because of the amount of clients that are coming in, how much of a valuable part I am of part of the team, but my task hasn't even changed. But all of a sudden it's more valuable that I'm doing that. So at first there was zero value in what I was doing. You were like, you haven't even cooked yet. Later you were like, well, minimum Wage. Now you're like, okay, you get a raise and we need you because 200 people, if you can do that, you're super valuable. Now what if I'm a line cook in a Michelin star restaurant? I'm a line cook in a Michelin star restaurant. There are many chefs in the kitchen. My only job is to perfectly slice onions and garlic to the perfect size. Like, every little piece is cut exactly the same size. I know exactly how to cook. Cook it in the butter and someone comes after me and cooks the protein. And I am in one of the most sought out restaurants. People pay about a thousand dollars per head per night to eat at this restaurant. And I am considered one of the greatest garlic cookers in the history of humanity. How about now? What kind of salary am I making now? So this is why there's no real like 1500 bucks an hour. You set your price, I'm sought out, I get to choose, right? High value. What happened? The value of whoever's hiring me, like what I'm worth to them. That's what changed. Not what I'm worth as a person, but what I'm worth to a person. In this context now, why a lot of entrepreneurs choose entrepreneurship is because they can make the same simple equation happen where multiple people decide to pay them. This means I could have a lot of people pay me minimum wage. I could have a lot of people pay me like medium range. I could have people pay me high ticket. I could be a high ticket mentor. I could be a high ticket, you know, deck designer. I could be an artist. I could be whatever it is, but people, I could be paid from all kinds of different sources. So what we're looking to see here is my value has to do with myself and my belief in myself, but it has to do with the value that I provide. And we want to look at value differently in masculine and feminine energetics so we can understand the difference in how we experience it in our body. So if we're being honest, what we're really saying is, what's the result? When I first cooked and there was no food, at the end, there was no result. So how can you pay me to cook nothing? There's no result. When I was making minimum wage, there was a result because I was cooking mediocre food in butter and oil and shallots. So it was a mediocre result. Then when I was cooking a lot of food for a lot of people, then it was a performing result. Then when I was doing it in a Michelin star restaurant, it was A art unique result, but it's always the result. And so this is why in our heads we can get caught up of like, am I good enough? But that sentence is just as difficult as am I worthy? Am I good enough? Is another one that slips through your subconscious mind and just says every single thing that it touches hurts when it goes through your body. Because you're not saying, am I good enough to cook onions in a pan. When you say I'm not good enough, you mean everything. Like you're crying over not having cut the shallots properly, but you're second guessing your entire relationship and you're wondering if you're a good enough mother. And you're wondering if you did a good enough job at every single thing and every single task that you had to do today. And if you did, if you were rude to the person and the person and are you good enough as a whole, it's not even about the thing anymore. When you start asking questions like, am I good enough? It starts to poison everything inside of you. You ever questioned. Because if you were to actually ask the right question, which would be, why is it that I make minimum wage to cut onions without finishing a recipe, you wouldn't actually, you'd probably laugh at your question. You'd be like, because I didn't finish the recipe, I'm good, I'm chilling, all is well. It wouldn't be about am I enough? It would be like, this is the job I'm doing, it's okay. Now, we talked about qualifications yesterday. Am I qualified? So if I cut onions in a deli, am I qualified to cut at a Michelin star level? Probably not. And if I am and I'm working in a deli, then that is my self worth issue. So we boil down to two things. Either I am qualified, but I do not have the self worth thoughts that would help me put myself in the right position, or I am not qualified. And instead of just going to get qualified like one plus one equals two. And it's so simple. I want to make it a self worth thing and then nothing changes. And these are the two things we tend to do that keep us stuck when it comes to money. Because you either want to tell yourself I'm not good enough and make it poison everything about you, or next thing you're making not enough money, but you think you're not good at everything in life, or you just go out there and you learn the skill, which is such a simple thing. We don't want to really do that. And this is where we've got to be super honest with ourselves. So why I need to have this conversation with people is because I don't think anyone really understands what it takes to go from having no money to having money. I don't think people really understand it. And the thing is, we cannot dislike the people who were born with money. Because if you have kids or you plan to have kids, and those kids are going to have kids, you will generationally create people who are born into money. So if you do not like people who are born into money, you're about to hate your offspring or their children. You've got to get over that. Because if we are going to change wealth generationally on the planet, we're going to have to figure out how to love people who are born into money. Because we're about to make them. So it doesn't work to just say, oh well, the people who are born into money, they don't. They don't know. Because you're about to make a bunch of people who don't know. The fact is, the only people who don't know are the people who go from not knowing to knowing. These are very unique people. Either people are born with money or people die without it. But the people who are born without it and die with it are a very unique kind of person. Unique rare, limited edition. That is us. So we've got work to do. Because we cannot hate the very people we're about to create. That will not work for us. We've got to love and respect them and we've got to notice maybe what kind of things we can open their minds up to once they start to be a part of our life and our families. Because we're about to help people be rich. You actually might want to retire your parents. All of a sudden they will be reborn into money. You might want to retire your partner who will all of a sudden become rich without having to work as hard as you. You might have kids that all of a sudden won't struggle the way you did. And how's that going to feel when they're not grateful anyway? Because humans sometimes forget what they're given. How are you going to handle the grandkids that come into this world with money from birth without ever knowing what it means to not have anything? How you handle that? If you still have stories about how people who are born with money just don't get it, it's not going to work either. So we have a short window in time. We have a small problem that we are exploding. We're making it so big, this problem. But in fact, it's a very, very small problem. And once we fixed it, we're gonna have to be completely different people. Because the moment of I have no money and I don't know how to be rich, it goes away the minute you have money. So this is a finite problem, and you don't know who you are without it yet. This is the biggest realization I had when I became so financially free that I could literally do anything, have anything, give anything, more than I had ever thought I could in my whole life. I was like, I don't even know what to worry about. I don't know what to think about. Like, this is a whole other world. I'm so used to thinking about how to make money or how to fix the money problem. Like, who do you become when that's gone? So we want to open our mind a lot to realize that this money problem that you have, it's not even a problem. It's a forgetting your power for a minute. There is actually no real problem if you want to be financially free or rich or stinking wealthy. Whatever it is that you want, if you really want it, you've got to just be willing to do what it takes to become the kind of value in the marketplace that is a match for that amount of money. That's it. There's no other thing. There's no worthiness from birth. There is no, you're not pretty enough, you're not tall enough, you're not skinny enough, you're not educated enough. You're not anything that doesn't even exist. Not anymore. We can break all of that. I have helped people from every single walk of life, background, age, every single limitation you could have. I have seen a person do it. There's no more excuses. Like, everyone's done it, but do you want it? And I. I. What blows my mind is the thought that I had never actually asked myself this question. Not really. I just assumed I wanted it because why not want it? But there is a level of commitment that comes with every level of wealth. Like the person who is cooking for minimum wage is probably thinking of something else while they're cooking onions. The person who's cooking for speed, cooking for the 200 clients, they're thinking about efficiency. But the person who's making fifteen hundred dollars an hour cutting onions, they're cutting for excellence. They have actual pressure of excellence. Do you even want that? You care enough to want that. You've got to find your actual range of desire because it's going to be your stuff in exchange for the stuff that you want. Whether it's your time, your effort, your art, your care, your wisdom, your intellect, your charisma, your skills. Your stuff in exchange for the stuff that you want. And it is so easy to think you want stuff and overwork just to end up with an abundance of stuff that you don't even care about. So one of the homeworks on today's session is I want you to contemplate what the life is that you want, that you actually want. Do you care about having your own private jet like you'd need to be a billionaire? Do you care about having houses in every country, all over the world with people who manage all your properties? Do you want that kind of money? Do you want the kind of money where you need to have people who manage your money and people who manage the people who manage your money? You want that kind of money? Or do you want the kind of money that just makes it that you can take vacations any week, any day, you can take time off whenever you want. You want the kind of money where you have like the one car and the car of your dreams parked in your garage and maybe you have a boat? Is it. Do you want the kind of money where you never need to work again, nor does anyone in your family and never anyone else for the rest of time? Like you change generational wealth, or do you just want the kind of money where you feel really secure in yourself? You know, you can retire comfortably without worrying about money anymore. But when you go out with friends, you'd feel more comfortable if they paid their own bills. Like you want that kind of money because it's all okay. And you are not less worthy of a person. You are not less valuable of a person. If when you think about the kind of wealth you want, the currency is not so big that you don't know how to do that yet. This is. This is the big thought pattern. So let me just see this, because I saw a question pop up and it kind of touched me. Is every person who is monetarily wealthy delivered some kind of excellence in exchange? Not excellence, but value. And the value has a different currency. Now, it depends when we're thinking about what, what is value? So let's just look at this for a second. So if. If we look at the super rich people, like who comes to your mind when you think of, like a super rich person, like you think of who, who are the people, the super rich, the first person who comes to your mind who is It Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, Richard Branson. So what did these people create? You're gonna find that the people with the most money are the people who created brands that almost nobody on the planet doesn't know the super, super rich like you. You've got to be living under a rock to not know what Amazon is. In the modern day world, if you have the Internet, you don't know what Amazon is. It's impossible. How many? Just raise your hand or say me in the comments. If you have ever received something from Amazon in your life, okay. I want you to contemplate what it feels like in your body to have an unhappy client. Okay? Just, it sucks. Just hold it for one minute. Now I'm going to ask you, has your Amazon package ever arrived late or have you ever been frustrated with Amazon? Raise your hand if you've ever been frustrated with Amazon, felt like your package arrived late, blah, blah. Okay, tell me, could you handle you as a person right now, as we speak? That amount of failure, that amount of unhappy clients, that amount of people who are like, where's my package? So the thing with the super rich is that they're also super responsible and they are expected to be super excellent because if everybody chooses them, they should be the best. It's an expectation of excellence. And this is where we've got to kind of look at it. Same thing, like who? The person who owns Twitter, the person who owns Amazon, the person who owns Facebook, the person who owns Netflix, the person who owns these are things the whole world is using. So they're super rich because they create value to so many people. That's why they're super rich. And they've got to create how many jobs do they create, how many jobs these people create and how much do they have to navigate failure and how much expectation is there on them? Are you willing to be that kind of super rich? Not everybody is. You might say to yourself, you know what, in my definition of like my life, I don't know that I would want that kind of currency exchange. Because in order to have billions and billions and billions and billions of dollars, I realize that my stuff has to be excellent customer experience, excellent follow through, excellent delivery, excellent innovation, excellent employees, excellent all that's a lot of pressure. I don't know that I want that. So you might cut that out for yourself right away. Like billions and billions and billions. That's okay. Then there's like 1 billion. Okay, then there's like a few hundred million, then there's like a few million. Then there's 1 million. You see, there's different levels of money on the planet. And what we want to look at is that with more money comes more impact and there's a currency attached to that. I have had people ask me so many times in my career, like, how did you do it? How did you become this? How did you do that? How did you go from sleeping in the front seat of your Honda Civic to celebrating $70 million in this amount of years? How did you do that? I raised the amount of responsibility I could hold in my body, the amount of care I could hold for people in my body, the amount of courage to stand for things. When people told me to sit down and shut up, I stretched my belief systems, my heart. I bettered myself. I bettered my skills in speaking and leading, in, in coaching and training and mentorship and branding and marketing and advertising. Like I stretched everything. And there's a currency to all of it. There's a currency to every single part of it. And this is why sometimes you've got to pivot and course correct and say, I would love to be rich, but I don't want to be rich. Like this way. I want to be wealthy, but I don't want to be wealthy that way. And that's where currency starts to become a very important conversation. Because in your life, money is just one currency. There's also the currency of time. There's also the currency of connection, relationships. There's the currency of well being and health. And there's going to come a time when you become logical and mature about what money really means, that if you really make a very honest moment where you take a moment with yourself and you actually think to yourself, would I exchange this currency of health for this currency of money? No. Would I exchange this currency of relationship for this currency of money? No. Would I exchange this currency of hobbies for money? Yes, 100%. Would I exchange this currency of this for this? Yeah. Ok. You're going to figure out what's really important to you and what matters and you're going to realize that in a lot of the currency work and where a lot of the super rich thrive, is that the key a lot of the times to being very, very wealthy is that you become friends with people who are rich in a different currency than you. So I'm going to give you an example. If I am a foodie, I love the greatest food. It doesn't matter how much money I have, if I try to get a reservation at a restaurant where there's no reservations, Available, I can't get in. And it doesn't matter how much money I have. This is something I did not consider at all. I thought money got you everything. It doesn't. As a matter of fact, if you even were to say to a restaurant person, like, come on, let me, and I'll give you a huge tip, a lot of the times they will be entirely insulted by that. You can't buy status. One of the most disappointing things my clients have gone through when they hit their finance, their financial goals, is the world doesn't care that you're rich. They care about your money when you're buying things. But in the service industry, people don't care about your money. You cannot buy status. You can't. You're not invited to the party because you're rich. You're invited to the party because you're great. And this is really difficult because a lot of people work so hard at getting rich that they never build relationships. They don't have time for people. They don't have time for any of it. And now it's time to have this beautiful moment in your life. You can't even get into a restaurant. Frustrated. How is it that I can't get into this place? The influencers are getting in for free and I'm super rich. They're not letting me in. I have never had more. People want to give me free stuff. And since I'm. I've got money, it's like, how is that possible? I couldn't get in because I didn't have the money. Now I have the money and I. People want to give it to me for free. What is going on? There are currencies on the planet that are far different than just money. And so there's a different kind of currency I want you to think about, which is sometimes, you know, let's say you go to a restaurant once, tell me if this has ever happened to you. You go to a restaurant and then the waiter really just likes you. You become kind of friends with the waiter. And from that point forward, anytime you want to go there, if you were to message the waiter, and this could be also at the hair salon, at the nail salon, even though it's really like, usually people have to call in advance. If you were to call them or if you were to text them, they would get you a spot. Do you have a place like that? Your hair salon, your nail salon, the certain restaurant you go to, do you have a place like that? Right. So this has nothing to do with the money you spend it has to do with who you are. But you will not have time to do all of that if you are working 24 7. So we've also got to decide, like, do I just want. Do I want to just have all the money, or do I want to have some money and some status? And then what's the point of having money and status if I don't have time? And then what's the point of having money and status and time if I have no one to fly with? I'm starting to get the goal of this conversation a little bit. One of my biggest breakthroughs was to realize I already had most of the currencies. Instead of trying to find value in the one I didn't have, I realized how valuable I already was, that I already had places that would treat me different because I was kind and caring and magnetic and fun. I already had. I was wealthy in love, I was wealthy in health. I would wake up in the morning and feel healthy in my body. There's no money that can buy that for you. I was wealthy in my relationship with my family, rekindling with some of the friendships that I had. Like, I was wealthy with so many things, all I needed to do was add money. Now most people are walking around the planet thinking they're broke and they've got to learn how to make money in order to be valuable. Instead of realizing they're overflowing with value, they just need to add money. This is like, you make the most extraordinary recipe. I must be hungry. In this module is about food. It's like, I'm making this recipe and all that's missing is salt. But every time I. I eat it, every time I take a bite, I'm like, this isn't good. And I throw the whole recipe in the garbage every time. Then I recook the whole thing and I taste it. Something's missing. I just don't add salt. So I just recook the recipe every time. This is what we do about money. We think there is something fundamentally wrong with us because there's a lack of money, as if there's something wrong with your recipe because it's lacking salt. You've got to just add salt. I want you to actually consider yourself for a moment, for real, after everything we've talked about, now that we've really made it clear, like, you are unique, you are limited edition, you are rare, you are valuable to so many people in your life. You already have so many of the currencies that you will still want to be there once we Add the money. Can we get clear on that? Can you be clear on that? Like, you already have so many pieces of the puzzle already. If you can do that, you are a hundred steps ahead of where you were when we started this discussion. Because chances are, you came here like, hopefully I can get the money so that I can be valuable, or I can feel this, or all my dreams will come true. When in fact, you actually have almost everything you need already. The only part that's missing is the money, and I want to make it so small, the money part. Because the fact is, once you have it, you'll realize it is. But sometimes the smallest things are the most extraordinary things. Like salt. Salt is the smallest thing that you put in your recipe. The tiniest little grain in your recipe, you can't even see it, it even dissolves if you don't put any in it. Your recipe is always lacking something. So you cannot not have money. That does not work. It is the spice. It is the salt. It is the tiny little thing that takes your recipe from bland to va va, boom. But you cannot live on salt. You can't just eat salt. Same as you can't just have money. So we want to learn here to really calibrate to this understanding that you are undeniably valuable. But now that you're strong enough mentally and emotionally to have this conversation, you've got to take responsibility for the fact that you have not been doing what you've got to do fully. If you're not in the position of wealth that you want to be in, there's something that you know you would need to do, and you tell yourself you can't. Or you tell yourself it wouldn't matter. Or you tell yourself people wouldn't care. Or you tell yourself it wouldn't work. Or you tell yourself you don't know how to do it, but you don't go learn how to do it. Or you tell yourself it would change your life, but you're too afraid to try it. And that's the problem. It's not that you're not good enough. It's that you're chicken. And that's okay as long as you accept that you've been chicken for a minute. Not inadequate, not unworthy, just chicken nugget. Just scared. With good reason. This stuff's terrifying because the thing is, you can say, or you tell yourself you don't know what to do. Yeah. But once you've said that, the next move is to go find out what to do, but you haven't really done that because maybe it costs something. Time, energy, money. Something you don't really want to do. By the time you're in this program, you've got one foot in the door. But this program could be a cop out. I'm going to tell you what I mean by that. I have seen so many people on the Internet say things like I have done so many programs, I have learned from so many teachers, I've done so many of the things and none of it works. If that's the truth, then what's the one thing you've been avoiding doing that you know would change everything but you don't want it to be that? Like, I would do anything to be wealthy except for that. I would do anything except for that. I would do anything to have the size coaching business that Melanie and Layer has except for that. I would do anything for riches. But I won't do that. And I won't also do that and. Or not that either. And not that. And especially not that. And now that you mention it, I won't do that and that either. But anything else I'll do except that. So it's our job to figure out what's the thing that we know deep inside we would need to do that we just aren't doing. And for a lot of us, the real truth, and it's okay, the real truth is we've got to go learn something. We don't want to do that. And the reason we don't want to do that is because in my opinion, this is my opinion, I believe the school system messed us up a little bit. And why I believe this is because in the school system we were really taught that we could be at school forever without having to do anything at the same time. To just study and study and study and study and study and then one day be done with school and never have to study again, which is a lie. And that it's probably best to study first and then get a job after, which is also a lie. I think what we would have done better to do is start school maybe a little bit later when it was possible to learn and implement at the same time and to be expected to do that for the rest of our lives. That probably would have made better functioning human beings, in my opinion, more time to play before and then learn and implement at the same time. Because if not, what it's created for us is we think we need to just go and learn and do nothing until it's done and then try it. And if it doesn't work, we feel like we need to learn more, when in fact it's all about learning and implementing at the same time. So what is a skill you feel you don't have? Is it speaking? Writing? Is it business? Money? Marketing? Advertising? Is it? You're you, you are an online marketer, but you don't have the best results yourself. So you would need to be studying marketing while you're selling your marketing stuff all the time. You need to be studying that all the time, but with absolutely no shame. This is the part that's the problem. If you don't feel like you have all the answers now, you think you're not worthy, that's the lie. If you could actually believe not only am I valuable right now to be paid right now, I'm also still learning, which makes me exponentially more valuable. What, what, what matters more to you? A person who's a doctor and they went to school to be a doctor, or a person who went to school to be a doctor, is a doctor, and still studies medicine every single day, week, month, whatever it is, to become a better doctor. Which one do you choose? It's like, we want the person who continues to care. We want the person that continues to study. Yet the minute we're still studying, we think there's something wrong with us. And this is our greatest problem. I. I've worked with so many clients who've told me I can't charge this much yet because I'm still learning. And I say, but wouldn't it be that by the time you, you've learned that you'll actually be able to just charge way more? Like, couldn't you own a price that makes sense for what you already know now and still be learning and constantly be raising your prices? It's like in your mind, if you're still learning, you're just a student. But you're not just a student. You're wise. Because the most intelligent people in this world understand that the most valuable skill is innovation of skill. If you're constantly learning the new thing, you're the best. So let's just imagine this for a moment. You start working minimum wage in a corner store, and you want to be paid a hundred thousand dollars a year because you believe you're worth it. And you've done a lot of mindset work. And Melanie Ann Layer said you were born worthy and nothing has changed. And so you strut your little butt to the corner store and you say, I'd like to be paid $100,000 a year for this job, please. What are the Odds that you are getting paid a hundred thousand dollars for that job. Odds are low. Why? Why are the odds low? There's a bunch of reasons. First of all, the odds are low because the job is not worth that much. Not you as a person, the job. Why is the job not worth that much? Because the business valuation does not make sense. To employ a customer service person in the corner store for a hundred dollar one hundred thousand a year. It's just business. There's no sentimental or emotional thought about that whatsoever. Now, why does the person that owned the corner store own a tiny small business that can't pay someone that kind of money? Well, that's a discussion we'd have to have with the owner of the store. We don't know. Maybe they don't believe they can have a big business. Maybe they didn't want to have a big business. Maybe this is the range of currency they were wanting to have as a business owner. That's what they were willing to hold. That's what they were willing to do. That's the amount of responsibility they were willing to have. So, no, no matter how much worth you have, can they pay you more than it's worth to them and be an intelligent business person? No. So you have two choices. You can work for a person who very clearly has a value range that you want to be above and feel like you are under underappreciated and then start to give less for the rest of your life. Or you can say, this is my first opportunity to learn skills. I will take the pay of here and I will become skilled in different things. And then you make sure you learn everything at this corner store. How do you run inventory? How do you receive stock? How do you order stock? How do you, how do you create the schedule for the two people or three people that are at the store? You learn to do that and then you go and you bring your, your resume everywhere and you have on your resume that you create. You took in the stock and the inventory and you're the one who did the schedules and you did this and that. And all of a sudden there is a place that says, whoa, we have been looking for a person with a little more leadership. This is very valuable to us. This is a supermarket. And so Instead of making $12,000 a year, they can order, they can pay you $24,000 a year. You're not making $100,000 a year yet, but they, they're willing, because of your, your skills, to pay you $24,000 a year. Is that a Good. Is that a good thing to move from the corner store to the grocery store and to make $24,000 a year? Yes. So you go to the grocery store. Now you don't have skills in a grocery store. You've never done it. And you feel undervalued and underappreciated because you want to make a hundred thousand dollars, but they only pay you $25,000. Or you start learning about all the brands. You actually start asking about stuff. Maybe you volunteer to work extra hours or to shadow someone to learn about profit margins. Maybe you care about marketing and you have ideas about how to bring more clients in. Maybe you have a client appreciation evening. That's your idea. And you. You just do the whole thing because you have this idea and you want to do it. And you tell them, I would love to be a manager here. And they say, oh, we don't have room for a manager. Say, okay. And then you go and you look at other places that are looking for a manager and you say, I have experience with the profits. I have experience with running events. I have experience with marketing and advertising, and I know how to receive the stock and send the stock and blah, blah, blah, blah. Your resume is getting bigger and bigger. There's a place that says, gosh, you're. You're amazing. We need. This would be so valuable to us. We can pay you $50,000 a year to manage this. Then eventually you realize that you can run a supermarket yourself. Sometimes you might be like, I would like to start my own supermarket chain, but I don't have the money. So you might work your way up real close in a supermarket where there's a chain. And you might get so advanced up that eventually you know all the ropes and eventually you start your own thing. But you can start from the ground. And I've seen people do this. Oh, my gosh. My mom started at Sears making $7 an hour and retired as the director of the hugest store in all of Quebec. No education, just value. Extraordinary value. Did she make mistakes? Plenty. But she was committed to being the best she could be because she needed to be the best she could be. There was just no other way about it. She didn't become the best she could be to make the money. She made the best she could be. So she could be the best she could be. And then the money came. You can do this for someone else, or you can do this for yourself. You can do this in a job. You can get paid more and more and more and more and more in a Job. I have helped so many people get raises, get transfers to different companies, be be get offers for jobs they never thought they could get. This is not just about entrepreneurship. You get to be paid more by other people, but you've got to be willing to believe in yourself enough to cultivate skills you're not being paid for right now. You've got to invest time and energy that no one else will in order to be more valuable for this one position. Because the position you want is rare and unique and that's why it's worth more. When you're rare and unique, you get the rare and unique position. Now what we want is to not have a boss that tells us how much we can make. A lot of the people in this class are entrepreneurs. Most of you are entrepreneurs. And so what happens is, and this is the wildest thing, you start working for yourself. You work more hours than you ever have because there's no one to prove your work is less valuable. I don't know why we do this. I see people work change. A 40 hour, 40 hour week job for an 80 hour a week job. They pay themselves less than they used to make the way they work more than they used to work because they work all the time, but the tasks they do aren't valuable. How many entrepreneurs sit on their couches scrolling on social media, just lost in comparing themselves because there's no boss to go, hey, get off your phone. I'm paying you per hour not to do that. But you calculate that as work time. I have been working all day. I have been on my phone. Do you know how many times this thing has died? My phone has died 10 times a day. Yes, that is not exactly valuable work though. It's market research. No, it's not. Keep telling yourself that. We know what valuable work looks like. If you're watching me to educate yourself, yes, it counts. If you're watching me to hate me because I'm so annoying and I'm not worthy of what I have, then no, you know what I mean. If there's something about watching me and it brings value to your life, it's valuable. If there's watching me because you're distracting yourself from your work and you don't know what you should do and you're getting distracted, no, it's not valuable, it's not worthy, it's not worth it. So the goal is to become valuable in your work and to not work unless it's valuable. There's things in your life you probably need to cut out. And I think you know what those things are? You say, I stay up so late at night working. Yes, but you're working while you're doing other things. It's not your most valuable work. If you were paying an employee to have the kind of focus you have on your business, you would fire them. And you're worried. You're wondering about the quality of your work. Like, why do I work so much? And we don't. We don't hit the targets we want to hit because you're not focused, you're not dedicated, you're not devoted. You're not working for you the way you were working for someone who could give you a raise, which is crazy, because you are the person who will give yourself the biggest raise. You will be the one that will see your potential more than any boss will. You are the one that will give you the biggest raise than anybody any other boss will. You're the one who can give you the most opportunities. And you don't work for you the way you work for other people. Isn't that wild? You can work more hours all you want, but you don't give yourself the same value. You don't actually give yourself the same thing. Showing up here in this course, this is extraordinary that you're here right now and you want to notice how you're doing it. I show up for these. I'm here right now with an. With an energy for. For me, for you, for us. That's like 500%. I'm. I'm here. Every single word that's coming out of my mouth, I care about. I. I want you to leave every single call feeling like, oh, my gosh, I just got so much. And I want you to feel like you're gonna go do something. I don't want you to just listen to me and go, that was great. Let me scroll through Netflix. Like, I want you to get off these calls. Be like, I want to make a move. Whether it's an offer, a live stream, a post, whether I want to do research on something, whether I need to do something, learn something. I want to do something right now. Like my value. I realize my worth. If you can make one real move after, every time you hear me speak, every single conversation with me is worth something big. That's what I want. I want to move you. I want you to get off these calls with me. Like, I want to do something. That's the greatest benefit I can give you. If you listen to these calls, have distracted folding laundry while you're doing something else, and they don't work for you. It's like, that's not how you listen when you care. So you want to check even how you learn when you're saying, I am investing time and money to learn a skill. I'm learning money from this person who literally went from being bankrupt to making millions of dollars a month. Like, how on earth. I'm listening because I care, because I'm studying this. You show up so differently than like, I'm doing the inner work, which is what a lot of this industry has become. Buying a program, celebrating you bought the program, never watching the program. I am so unimpressed by that. And I think it's a very big problem. This is education is what it is. If not, it's a waste of your time. And your time is valuable because you pay yourself to work and to play and to live and to love. If you're wasting your hours pretending to be valuable, no wonder your self esteem is going down the toilet. We don't have time for this. I'd rather you go play. I'd rather you go and go run in the fields and laugh and breathe fresh air than pretend to watch me on social media while you simultaneously watch Netflix. What's your level of commitment? When you're doing something that matters means that you can be more valuable. You can use your time with more value, and then you don't need to use as much of it. If you really, really focused on the work that you were doing, you would not need to do it for as long. It doesn't take as long. And that's what we're really wanting to do. We want to learn because it matters, and then we want to go implement because it matters, and then we want to go take time off because it matters. All those things matter. All of it. You want to figure out what are the currencies that matter to you and are you really living in alignment with those currencies? If you were your own partner, would you feel valued? If you were your own mother, would you feel valued? If you were your own kid, would you feel valued? If you were your own friend, would you feel valued? If you were your own employee, would you feel valued? I have a feeling you're gonna be like, oh, sometimes business is a cop out. I don't have time because I'm busy. But busy does not mean valuable. And you know that because if you had an employee that was constantly busy and never brought the results, you would not be happy. So what I want for you in this module before our deepening of this tomorrow Questions will come up, triggers will come up. You might feel called out, you might feel, yeah, but what about me? You might have a whole bunch of stuff come up. See if you can do this before you ask your questions. See if you can just get to a place of neutrality. I don't need you to feel like your life has changed, although if you do, that's frickin brilliant. But you don't need to feel that after this call, what I would like you to get to is to a point where you're like, ah, crap. Okay, I can I see it? If you can get to that, we've done great. And if you can make one move today that would be of higher value than you were planning on doing today without this call, then this was a great investment of both your time and money, and we both win. What's the move you knew you were supposed to make today that we both know you were probably not going to make because you got too busy? Can you be valuable for you today? Can you do something that's not just doing something, but that's actually valuable for you today? And if you don't know what that is, because that happens, if you're like, I don't know what to do, I don't know, that's why I'm here, then I would like you to do something valuable for your health, for your relationship, or for your family if there really is nothing that you know to do. Because what you did do today, and what I want to really applaud you for is you educated yourself today. And so you've already done a good one. But the best time to do something extraordinary is on the back end of a masterpiece. So after you've done the thing which is like, you bought the program, you showed up for the program, you're already two for two today, things are good. What else can you add to that to make this an extraordinary day? What else can you add to this to say, whoa, this was really good? Like, I, I bought the program, I showed up for the program, I did it, and then I use the energy of the success that I felt in the fulfillment I felt, and I actually did this as well. And if there is nothing that comes to mind, then you do something for your health, for your family, for your life, or for any other currency that matters to you. So the homework to make it very clear is this going to sit with yourself and you're going to decide, what are the currencies that matter to you in your life? Money is one of them. Money is the salt So I want to know what the dishes. Do you want to have a family? Do you want to have a partner? Do you want to have family with your parents and your siblings as well? Or is it just like you, your, your partner and your children? Like, is there kids in the mix? Do you want to have a social life? Do you want to have a traveling life? Do you have plans for your home? Are you an artist? You have hobbies? What are all the currencies that matter to you? And what I want you to get really clear on is how efficient you're going to have to become for all those things to work at once. It won't work for you to put them all aside to do one thing. You're going to have to learn to grow with what you've got and with who you are. So you're going to honor all the currencies that you already have. How great of a friend you are, if that already matters, how great of a mom you are, if that already matters, how great of a partner, how great of a friend, how great of a daughter, how great of a sibling, how great, how much love and value you bring where it matters. Or you may have a rude awakening that you've been so focused on not being valuable quite enough to yourself to be making the money that you've been too busy to be valuable in the areas where the currency is available now. And that's where you might make your move today. You're make some time. You're going to call your mom, you're going to make some time. You're going to actually go on a date tonight with your partner, and you're not going to bring your phone. You're actually going to make some time tonight and you're going to do something that is valuable to you, to your business, or to someone that matters to you. Then once you've done that, you can think of questions. If you take this program and the only thing you do is come up with questions that's not valuable to you. And this is the thing most people misunderstand with coaching and mentoring. The goal is not to make you think. The goal is to make you move. You take these programs not just to think different, but to be different. So if the only thing you do after each module is think and ask yourself questions, you don't change. You won't get to ask yourself questions. But I highly recommend the questions come after you've done something. So whatever you've gotten from this, take it and go do something. Then sit and ask yourself what your question might be for tomorrow. I'm going to take the best questions that I feel can really support the group and we're going to fill our time tomorrow, really giving you extraordinary value and helping you break through some stuff that might be in the way. But I'm going to ask you to have a level of integrity. We're going to put a thread in the group that. Thank you, Julian, for asking. We're going to put a thread in the group for the Q and A. I'm going to ask you to have next level integrity and see if you can have this for me, for you, for us. If you did not make a move, do not ask a question. If you've made the move, you get to ask the question. If you did not make the move, do not ask a question. We're all going to change in this program massively with this amount of integrity. I'm telling you, this is how you raise the bar. You become the most valuable person in every interaction and then money just finds you opportunities, find you gifts, people, everything finds you like it's, it's out of this world. You raise your value and the world responds because not a lot of people do this. This is rare, this is unique. And this is limited edition. Thank you for being with me. Thank you for going eight minutes over. I appreciate you so much and I will see you tomorrow to answer your questions. It.
