The Mentor - Bonus 3

Melanie leads a mentorship session with Brianna Borton, Sharina Miami, and Lynn Laborde on building sustainable business growth while managing life changes. The group shares personal reflections on balancing professional goals with community building.
Sam, I am a business artist and.
I have people become mindfully successful at their own craft.
We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship. Hello, gorgeous human beings, and welcome to the last and final module of the Mentor 2022. I can't believe it. This has been such a huge body of work. I am so grateful that we did it this way. It feels like there's so much more and I'm just excited for future years to come. What I love about this program is it is lifetime access, which means if you're with me here, you will grow old with me in mentorship as long as you decide to plug into the vibes. And so anytime there's added modules, you'll be able to plug in with me. And I'm really grateful about that. So, hello. I love you and I'm grateful that you're here. Now. Today's a special module because we're going to have Brianna, our vip, who's going to come on and be mentored with me directly on the screen. And then we are going to draw two people from the program that are also going to be mentored one on one on this call. So I am excited about that as well. I see that we have a new AFE that is with us today. Shaheen is here. So welcome to the afe and I am so happy you are here with us. I am seeing people from all over the world again. So excited. Mentor calls are my fave.
This is awesome.
I am so excited. Check for public friends all over the place. So I am so grateful. Thank you for tuning in with us. And let's jump in. So, Brianna, if you want to, come on up and let's start with you today.
Hi, Melanie.
Hi. Hi. So nice to see your face.
So good to see you.
How are you? Good.
I feel like I've missed you.
I know. I feel that too. Like, we used to talk all the time. Brianna used to be a private client of mine, so there used to be so much and then it's like less and less. It's good to see you. It's really good to see you.
It's really good to see you too. So I'm usually so prepared for these mentor calls. I've been like, I know my question and I am prepared. And today I was just like, I'm not prepared. And I kept trying to be prepared and there was something stopping me. So I was like, well, I'm going to listen and just show up. And right before I got on here, I was like, what? I really would love to dive into you with you is if you were where I am right now, where the like world is, what would you do to grow your business in a like heart centered and sustainable way? So that's where I came to. But we can talk more about like where I am and what that means.
Yeah, let's start with that. Just so everyone has context with my answer. How would you describe where you are right now?
Well, I, you know, I'm going to talk specifically about my coaching business, my coaching and mentorship business because my other business is too complicated. And so this, I feel like right now, I mean we've been, it's been growing especially this year, you know, we work together and I had those like two six figure months and then it's been like, you know, around there though not always there. So it's been a little inconsistent. I've been like at 80 and 90 and like 110 and like, you know, so it's bounced around a bit and now I'm feeling excited about creating something that is more like has monthly recurring revenue and you know, I have my love rising membership. So that's something I would really love to grow so that I feel like, oh, there's like a sustainable like 100k coming in and then everything else as you like to call it is like fun money, which I like love that feeling. I'm like, I also want fun money that's like surprising or whatever it is. So yeah, that's. Is that enough of where I am?
Yeah, I think that's really good. So first of all, I just want to say I'm looking at our color schemes of us together and I feel like we're very visually appealing together. Everything. Okay, so first of all, congratulations. Six finger months are a huge deal. And even when we're bouncing 80, 90, 110, you're an energetic match for $1 million a year, which is out of this freaking world. Like this is huge. And so one thing that I think sometimes happens in this, in this line of the industry, especially in our cocoon, it feels like that's like normal. Like we see so many people do that, but it's not normal. Like this is insane. It makes no sense. It's extraordinary. It's beyond, beyond beyond. But because we're seeing more and more people do it, sometimes we get in the vibe of like, oh, you know, is this good enough? Should it be more like there are so many human beings on the planet that their face would melt off if you simply told them that you made this kind of money. It'd be like I don't even understand. There are far more people trying to get to what you've created than people trying to scale from where you are. Does that make sense?
Yeah, 100%.
So important to remember the power that you already have, the incredible magic that you have already created to take away the pressure of keeping up the trend more and more. Because when we do that, we sometimes lose our unique edge and trying to duplicate what someone else is doing, like just reminding yourself something will never do. I'm doing something that so many people would dream of doing. And there are more people desiring to calibrate to me than people trying to do what I like go beyond me. So I'm reminded of this. Thank you.
My husband literally tells almost every day. Peter's like, every day. But the thing is, when.
When people outside tell us, it doesn't feel the same as when someone on the inside tells us, because we're like, yes, but you don't understand. You're in the normal world.
Yeah, it's true.
So I do get you. I do get it. But really remembering this and the reason why it's so important to remember is because it changes your positioning when you speak to feel like you are one of a few. Instead of you're comparing yourself to a couple of people who may have grown more or done more, there are far more people looking at you like, what? Than people going, oh, yeah, it's just that I've already done that. There's so many more looking. So what we want to look at when we're building and we're scaling from a million dollars a year, the most important thing to remember is that those numbers, everything you've done, they will never go away. And this has been such an important part for me when it kind of like landed. No matter what happens, even if all of a sudden I made $0 for five months, we could never take away the fact that you've had six figure months. It's not possible to take away that fact. That will always be true, that will always be yours. In 10 years from now, in 20 years, from now, in 40 now, you can speak on stages and talk about how you created hundreds of thousands of dollars in months. That story will always be yours, no matter what happens. So just remembering the power of what you've already built and gaining momentum from that story, reminding yourself that that is enough. It will always be enough, and it will be enough for the rest of time. Even if you didn't do anything more, what you have done will make you part of the 1% of this world already without even doing anything more. And when you really tap into that, there's freedom in building now. Now it's choosing, it's deciding to grow because you want to continue to grow. It's desiring to scale because you just want to. There's no need, there's nothing to prove. You're already there. You've already done it. You're already mind blowing. You could write best selling books, you could sell out a stadium just with what you've done. You would make the world melt their face right off. So from this place of I'm already a superstar genius, what else do I want to do Feels so different than how do I get to the next level? Mm. Because you already, you're already beyond that. You're already in the zone.
Yeah.
So for you, if you think of, you got two businesses, you've got children, you've got a relationship, you love to travel, you, you are very good with social media, you're very connected to your audience, people really love you, they do long term work with you. You've got a really great thing going. What do you want? Not just for the money, but like what do you want to create?
Oh, I get really excited. I think about what I want to create so much because I like, I want to create like huge events where people are like awakening to their spirit and to abundance. Both like really huge events. And then smaller retreats where it's like just me and like a smaller group of people where we get to dive really deep, both of those things. And really the thing I get the most excited about is just impact. I'm like, okay, if I can see the people in my world and how much they transform. And I would say like even in the last day, I think maybe I was like in a little question. So I've gotten like, probably like 12 people that I work with in some capacity or have done something recently with me have sent me emails about like how much is impacting their life. And I'm like, okay, it's happening, it's working and I just want to like that more. Just like I want to help more people in this way.
So just for everyone listening right now, if just listening to this makes you extremely drawn to Brianna, just say me. Like just, just in you speaking this without, you're not selling, you're not looking to market, you're not, you're literally speaking your truth. You're just talking and look at the reaction from people. And I knew we were going to get this because I felt it, it's like all of a sudden your magnetism is just, it's coming off the screen because you're not trying, you're not in your head trying to explain what you do. And really it doesn't matter what you do because what you've done will always be yours. You can talk about what you've done and now we can talk about what you're doing and where you're going. And that's exciting. So a lot of people try to capture what they do and how to talk about what they do in order to sell more. But the truth is, if we can talk about what we've done and where we're going, those two things are far more important to explain because the energy of what we do is captured when we're clear about who we are and what we've done and who we are and where we're going. The energy speaks for itself in the present moment. So my feeling for you is that long term relationships are quite easy for you, but because sometimes you get in your head about growth, you forget how powerful of a client base you already have that really do want to continue to work with you for a long time. When it comes to business launch longevity and continued growth and evolution, we do need to have that recurring and reoccurring. And it's an honor and a privilege when people choose to mentor with us for an extended period of time. And a lot of times people are looking for like, where are the next clients going to come from? Instead of how do I continue to serve the clients that I have? And so you'll notice, I feel like you and I have this similarity and I think it's why we connected so well. You'll notice in the Alpha Femme brand, I'm not always looking to sell to new people. I'm not constantly running ads. I'm not constantly every single few weeks doing a masterclass, a free thing. I'm not pushing for new. I nurture who I have a lot. It'll often happen that I won't even sell a program that I'm doing. It'll just show up in the afc and it's like I could have, I could have done a masterclass around that. I could have sold that more. But I rather keep my energy for the masterclasses inside. From time to time I'll do an expensive one to meet new people, but I spend a lot of time nurturing and market. Traditional marketing will often tell us you need to do more, need to market more, but we're nurturers, which is really good because you get long term with your clients. And so I think if you create for yourself a yearly event, let's say you created something that's got a yearly, a few, a few programs included, but they get to come to that yearly event with you every year, that's going to really create an incredible company culture with you. And if from that live event there's an opportunity to sell a high ticket, smaller mastermind or something where people maybe travel to beautiful locations with you, a smaller group and you have the big thing every year and the smaller thing every year, you're going to have people come back to you over and over and over again and they're also going to talk about it and share about it. And that word of mouth that's really your effortlessness is going to start to kick in. Instead of being in your head about going outside of you to create something, it's going back into your magic and pulling out your greatness, which is the connection, the emotion, the breakthroughs, the long term, long standing transformation people have in your world, the compound effect of working with you for a long time, how deeply you care about your clients and how much better they get over time when they work with you. When you tap into that, I feel like it's going to, it's going to explode from the inside out.
Yeah, I can really feel that. And it feels really exciting to me to think about doing like a big yearly event and bringing people in to meet new people and also to get to connect with the people that are already in my world because I really love them. Like I. But I also forget to, I'm like, I mean, I don't forget that I love them, but I forget that that's actually the most important thing sometimes. Sometimes I'm like, but I need to like, oh no, this is actually very good. And like I can just bring so much more gratitude to the people who have chosen to work with me for such long periods of time. That's really, I am really grateful for it. So it is good to be reminded.
Good.
And I think the other part of this is people are craving community, like really craving community. And so when you are able to create a space where people have been around for a while and they care about the space because one of the things I am noticing that is a trend that I am, I wish I could just pivot in this industry, but it is going to be what it is for a little while. People are coach hopping like crazy. Everybody's circular dating. I'm going to do three months with you and three months with you and three months with you. There's. Her last name is Borton. B O R T E N. So we are looking to constantly try on new people. Let me just try this on. And let me try this on instead of let me pick a mentor I'm going to walk with for a while. And so when you are the kind of mentor that manages to really hold a community and people continue to choose you, it feels really expansive for people to come into your world knowing they're not just going to meet people that are gone within three months. They're coming in and they're building friendships that are going to last a really long time with you, with them, something real, something long term. And so you're also being reminded in this moment how powerful your I love you. How powerful your connection is to the people around you and what you provide for them, which is for me, for you, for us. I'm here for you long term. These other people are here for you long term. There's an us to plug into. And that magnetizes people. And that's where people want to talk to their friends and their colleagues and be like, if you're really looking for a place, this is the place. And so the word of mouth is the most powerful and the most rapid way that people say, oh, well, then I trust I'll do it too. You don't have to work so hard externally. You just connect internally, which is your effortless flow, and let people come into your world and just feel it for a second and they'll stay. You have evidence of that.
Yeah, I love that because I do see, you know, you know, people that met in my containers that get married. I'm like, what?
You're married? Getting.
It's like. And best friends and like, people traveling together. I'm like, oh, right. Because that's what happens in community. And that's been like, even in my, you know, in my spas, in the dragon tree. That also happened. Lots of marriages actually, in that community. I'm like, okay, what are you doing at work? Besides working? But also, like, in our communities, it does feel like really awesome people. People are attracted and then want to stay because. Not just because of me, but because of each other, which I love that so much.
And it's like getting to go with your branding. It's like you're the roots. And then with your. The people that have been with you the longest, it's like you create this extraordinary, like, branch system. And now it's. And then they branch out and they bring their friends and their close people. And now you've got this extraordinary tree that's just branching out beyond your roots. Like, you don't need to do anything for this tree to keep growing. You just need to be more solid, more grounded. Go back to the. The real solidness of what you've built and remember that has always been enough. And to not forget that when you get, you know, mesmerized by other big trees and their branches, to not all of a sudden make your way and put your energy into leaves, all of a sudden it's like, no, no, no. Your magic is in the roots. Let. Let the people blossom. Your energy is meant to be in the roots.
Makes so much sense to me. I wrote this post not that long ago about the, like, sleeping, creeping, leaping of trees and how they, like, when you transplant them for a year, they're just, like, establishing themselves where they are. And then the next year, they're creeping, like, their roots start to creep into the ground, and you can't really see them growing, but they're really rooting. And then the leaping is the next year where you actually see them start to grow. And how important this is for trees to follow this, or they won't be healthy. But we expect ourselves just to be leaping. Like, I'm here, I'm leaping, and I'm like, all right. There is this other really rooted part that has to be there for strong, healthy trees and. And for also strong, healthy communities. So this is a really great reminder for me.
That is an extraordinary, extraordinary analogy, because I feel like this also speaks to people who come into a community wanting to belong. They feel drawn to it for all the right reasons, and they feel like they should feel like they belong as much as the people who've been there for three years. Instead of saying, okay, this first year, I might feel like a little wobbly little chicken nugget, but that's not because I don't belong. You know, I start with this mentor, and I feel like she's so close to all her other clients, and maybe we're not as close. I just met her last week. Hang on. You know, let's start somewhere. Okay, so let me just be here. I love her. I love myself. I'm okay. And then all of a sudden, okay, I'm starting to feel like home here. And then eventually it's like I'm part of the furniture. But can you let. Your people are just like, nope, don't belong, don't fit in, move, Nope, don't fit in, don't belong move and we see this so much. Give yourself a chance. Oh, I love this so much. So much. I feel like this would be an icon. You know how I have. Pineapple season is coming. I feel like that for you is the most beautiful analogy. Like, that could be a big part of your business. I feel.
Yeah, I feel like I do use it a lot in my groups, but I probably could use it more in, you know, the external, like, Instagram and social media world to be talking about it more, because it's so helpful to understand for ourselves, too. And this year, we planted on our land 16 new trees. Remember how I told you I was going to celebrate my. My first $100,000 month with a bunch of trees? We bought $54,000 worth of trees. I was like, who knew you could buy $54,000 worth of trees? You definitely can and more. And we just got them planted, like, two weeks ago. It felt, like, so exciting.
Yes. So I love that. Did you also share that on social media?
No, I'm going to now that you.
Mentioned, because to me, that is like, people are always looking for meaningful ways to celebrate. And there's a culture online which is like, they celebrate with champagne. You celebrate with fancy dinners or with a trip. And there are so many people who are just like, I don't feel like I could make this money because I don't even know how I would celebrate because champagne is not my thing. Jewelry is not my thing. Travel is not even my thing. Fancy stuff isn't my thing. And they would hear this and be like, oh, my gosh, I just found my person. Like, this is the greatest person I've ever met. This is out of this world. I admire you for that so much. It's unbelievable. And I remember when we spoke about it, because I remember I had said, like, oh, that's such an amazing idea. And I remember telling Kevin, when you told me you were going to celebrate with that, I would love for us to one day have the kind of land where we can plant trees in celebration, because you inspired me so much. And then our island got ravaged entirely. And so now we're going to be planting new trees. And what we found is a lot of the trees that were ravaged were actually dying. And so it was a good thing that some of them were uprooted and destroyed. And so we'll be planting new trees. And I'll be sure when I do talk about that, that I explain our time together and that that all came from. From you and the ripple effect that you have for. Towards your mentors, towards the Internet, towards your clients. Like, your roots go so big to the very. The very effortlessness of you is your magic. And so don't get distracted by other people's stuff. You. There's no one like you in this industry. And any client I've ever worked with, I've never had anybody like you. You are so unique. There's nobody like you. And so don't try to be like anybody else. That's the most important thing. It's got to be just you, you, the way you are, just you.
Thank you, Melanie. I'm really taking that in. I love you so much. I'm so grateful for this conversation. And thank you to everyone else for being here, too. It just feels so nice to be in your community as well. You create a beautiful, beautiful space.
Thank you so much. And if you want to follow Brianna and see when she finally does celebrate the trees and all the things. Brianna Borton on Instagram. What's the right Instagram handle?
It's Briana Borton.
Yeah. Because I know you have two, but the other ones for your other business. So, yeah, born on Instagram. She's honestly, you're going to see what I mean. She's one in a million. So thank you so much for this call. I love you and I'm so glad you were VIP in this program. Thank you for so much love. So much love. All right, so I think an important thing to do before I transition into drawing whoever is the next person to come on today. We often discredit the things that are most effortless to us because we figure it's got to be more complicated than that. The people that are doing other things seem second nature. You know, you'll look at someone that's doing something. This is what often happens. You look at someone that's doing something that's not the way you would do it, and you think, oh, they know how to do this thing that I don't know how to do, and they're successful. So maybe what I need to do is to learn how to do the thing that this person is doing that's not like me. Because then if I learn to do the thing that's not effortless for me, because it's effortless for them, but it's not effortless for me. If I learn how to do this thing, then I'll be successful. When in fact, the real magic is when I learn to be as effortless in what I do as this person is effortless in what they do, then I'll have the kind of success they have. It's not about learning their skill. It's about learning their effortlessness, their trust in their own way. That's the magic, and that's where the mentorship really comes in. Because mentorship isn't about being like me. Mentorship is about find the confidence in yourself the way I found the confidence in myself. Set yourself free the way I've set yourself free. I've set myself free not by doing what I'm doing, by doing what you're doing. Equal power, but different. Side by side, shoulder to shoulder. Not because one way is better than the other way, but because a person who set themselves free is a calibration portal. If you can do it, I can do it, but not in the same way. That's the part where you've got to really work on you to not. I want to be mentored so that I never fall off track. And I keep believing in myself. But I've got to be careful not to think the reason this person is successful is because they're doing something I'm not doing. They're successful because they're doing the effortless thing. That's the thing most important. All right, so champagne bucket of the universe, I want to say thank you so much for all the beautiful testimonials there has been. There's been the ones who really took the time to write. You really touched my heart, all of you. And I'm really, really grateful that this program landed for you. And I. I love you with all my heart. So we'll probably have time for one or two, depending on how long these go. Sharina. Sharina Miami, you are our first person to be mentored today. Oh, my gosh. Srina was in the Matrix with me, and she got pregnant during the Matrix, and now she has Matrix baby. Okay, let me see. Can I find you? Where are you?
Here.
Here I am.
Oh, my God. Melanie. I'm gonna cry because today I was like, I'm gonna get ready because Melanie's gonna call my name. Like, the champagne bucket like this reminded me of condom prosperity. I was, like, shaking when you were touching the bucket. Like, yeah, I just want to cry.
Thank you for having me.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God. You look so beautiful. Oh, my gosh. Thank you.
And my baby's gonna be one year this month, and I was thinking so much of you. Matrix. Like, all of it.
Oh, my gosh. One years old already. Yeah. Congratulations. That's amazing. I'm so happy. I'm so happy. I'm so happy, too. Okay, so tell me, where do we go?
Okay. I actually prepared because I was like, of course she's going to call my name.
Right? Okay, so this is how you manifest in life. Okay. All written down. It's so funny.
I have, like, one, two. Let's see what it. Where it goes. You kind of answered some like, you kind of answered some with Brianna, like, amazing. I want to talk to you about, like, the void. You know, last year I got pregnant. This year with the baby, I am, like, this new, different person. I'm not the same woman I was and the business I had. I don't. I don't resonate with it so much. I feel like I'm in the void this year. Last year, it's like, I had big dreams. I know it's gonna happen. Like, in my gut, I connect. But it's so easy to get, like, with the crowd, the competition, like, oh, my God. But I am in the void. And it's like, I'm holding it. I'm holding it. So I'd love to talk about that, like, void feeling that you're not resonating, you know, you're in different energy. It's like, yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
So what I think babies do. And this is something I've seen a lot of my clients that have had children. What happens is there's a certain wisdom that lands. It's like all of a sudden, there's a realization of what life is really about. And the money and the competition, it's like, it changes. The meaning of it changes. And what I've really seen is there are different versions of every industry. There's the industry where there's competition, and there's the industry where there isn't. There's the people in an industry that feel like everything's a competition. And there's the people in the very same industry who are like, no, there isn't. And they have an entirely different experience of this industry. You'll have the people who say, it's not fair. It's always the same actors that are cast in all the movies. It's really hard to get a role. And you'll have the actors that are like, honestly, I can't catch a break. There are so many roles I'm turning down, I don't even know what to do. There are the singers and songwriters that are like, I cannot catch a break. I've written the best music, and I just cannot catch a break. And then there is the people who are like, if I can't even write fast enough, the fans already want another album. I need to disappear and hide under a rock so I'm not harassed about when my next album is in the same industry. There's always the people who are plugged into the competition and the people who are not, and they have a different experience of this industry. And so when I look at the mentorship industry, the coaching industry, who I am most drawn to, me personally, who I am most drawn to is the people who have such incredible lives that coaching is a part of it, not all of it, a part of it that I feel like I am getting to be mentored or coached by a person where they are going to give me and share with me a part of their lives. But that is just the tip of this huge iceberg. And I love the whole iceberg. So in this void, instead of it being that you are trying to show the entire iceberg, to show everybody how big you are so that they see that you are the biggest and greatest and iciest iceberg in all of the land, all of a sudden you have understood with getting pregnant what depth really means. All of a sudden you are like, if you only knew how happy I am. If you only knew how much meaning my life has, if you only knew how fulfilled I am. But I'll never be able to put that into words. So in the meantime, here's a post, here's a Facebook live, here's an offer, and hopefully that's enough to magnetize you with everything I've got going under the water. So you're going to have different iterations of you throughout time. And the most important thing is to not worry that it looks different than it was and to also not try to push it to become something else too soon. Because in hindsight, all the wisdom is in the void. Everything where you haven't yet achieved the destination is where all the will, all the wisdom is. So in this moment, do you have any fear or is it more questioning that you experience?
I feel I was a lot in fear. I feel like now I'm in a point where, like, I'm feeling okay, it's all good. But there are moments I feel like I get carried away. What you said about, like, the past, I feel like, oh, but I was this person in this coach that used to do this much, that much and this. And, like, there's a part of me like, sure, now, like, you're in this beautiful journey and it's like. Like there's times I like I'm with my husband, my baby. And I'm like, wow, like the most beautiful thing. And it's like, okay, what do I post? Like, and it's like, it's like that here and there, but I'm living. I'm living my dreams. I'm living the dream. And yet I'm like, am I just being too comfortable? I should go for more? And it's like, I would. I want more. I'm excited for more. I don't want to go into the rags riches story again. Like, we can go good to great, great to greater. And that's what comes up for me. It's like feeling I gotta got to versus, like, being. It's like it's not enough. Like, it's not enough just to, like, be.
I get it. So first of all, it is enough to just be. And not only is it just enough, in a world where everyone's fighting against being, to try to look a certain way, you will stand out just for being the way that you're able to continue to be yourself. And the entire world is fighting to look like someone different, better, greater than they are, will set you apart from the rest. The fact is, I realized quite early that we change fast in this industry. And it's so funny, I was having a conversation with one of my unity clients about this this morning. In a lot of industries or a lot of lives in general, people will take a decade to have a transformation. There's also an amount of money or a certain amount of a raise that you can receive over 10 years, a percentage more of salary to eventually make a percentage more over time. We're going at warp speed with money. We're going at warp speed with identity shifts. We're going warp speed with reality shifts. We're going at warp speed with everything. Everything is happening fast. So when we have changed, sometimes we are afraid that we have changed. We change too fast. We don't know how to relate to the new version of us and who we are. But what has helped me is to remember that I am changing fast. But you are also changing fast. Fast. I am changing fast, but my clients are also changing fast. So if I try to hold on to any part of me for too long, there is no point, because you guys are going fast as well. And so if I let my effortlessness, if I let my timeline lead me and I am really dishonest about my life and how it feels, I am going to connect to the people that are on this wavelength. And when I move fast, anybody who's meant to Move fast with me will move fast with me or I'm going to bump into people who are already faster in a new timeline. And I don't need to worry about the people who aren't going so fast because there's new coaches and new mentors being birthed every day that are going to take care of them. Everybody is going to be okay. So when you, when you were talking about your child and your husband and the feeling that you have of being so happy, your energy fills the entire screen. Your, your self actualized, this is enough, is so big that it is the most magnetic thing. But you might think people are going to get sick of me here, of hearing me talk about this. They won't. I think maybe I need to go faster than this. You don't. There's people who need you to speak about exactly what you're going through right now. So my feeling and what I've done for me is I've made my social media, my life, my offers. I've made the whole thing an extension of me. My social media posts are diary entries. It's not even about what everybody else is going to think. It's not about the competition. It's when I look back at this social media a year from now, will I be able to look at everything I've done in pure gratitude? Will I look back and say, oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Because if, if next year's version of me looks and thinks that I know the people that are meant for me are thinking that right now, that's how I know. So for me, for you, for us and everything I share, if you look back at your work in a year from now and you're like, gosh, I wish I would have talked more about my baby. I wish I would have. I would. I wish I would have documented more about how I felt. I wish I would have talked more about my husband and the way we were. I wish more. Why didn't I say more? That's possible that you would do that if you tried to put yourself in a box. But if you don't put a limit on it and you're like, as often as I want, without any limit whatsoever, I will speak of everything that sets my soul on fire. The expansion that's going to occur is going to be out of this world and it'll be something. And this is what I was telling Brianna before, that you will have forever. This identity that you're building this year, next year, it's yours forever. These stories, these pictures, these memories These realizations, they're you forever. And so when you document, then you get to keep a part of yourself forever. And we've got people in the comments saying, and Brianna said, I would. I would follow you just to watch that story unfold. And when people are watching you, to watch this part unfold, and they're so connected to you and your family and your life, and all of a sudden you have this offer. Why not also check that out? Why not also find out what more there is about you? But if you hold back on what matters the most, and then trying to get people to buy something that's not really connected to you, it's like there's a bridge missing. So you've got to fill the space with your energy and then extend offers from that space without pushing for more. If it feels like there should be more, then just ask yourself, am I allowing myself to live more? Is there more I want to live? Or am I limiting myself in my living? Because if there should be more, then let me. Let me live more, and I'll just document it. Wow. Yeah.
I love this. Again, it's so. It sounds so easy. It's, like, effortless. And that's how it gets to be.
It's effortless because it's for you. Yeah. I would say the same thing to someone else, and they'd be like, how do I do that, though? But it's not for you, because this is who you are. This is your magic. You're in this zone right now, and your mind is trying to put pressure to say, is this enough? Should it be more? Should be different? Should it look like it used to look? Should it be. Instead of being like, let me stay in this. Let me cultivate this. Let me be here. Let me build this. And one day this will also change. That's the wild thing. And then you'll think, oh, I wish I'd have spent more time there. I wish I'd have eaten every little drop of life. I wish I would have just been here more. So why do that to yourself? Why not just be here and feel every single piece of it? And then when you get to the next version of you, enjoy every piece of that. And then you'll get to the next version of you, and you enjoy every piece of that. And watching you evolve with so much certainty will build a following for you beyond your wildest dreams. People will be like, I have so much to learn from this person. And they can buy past offers of yours. They can buy, you know, everything you build will be there Forever. So you're building an arsenal of working far beyond the timing that you're living it. And if you're fully into it, you're going to have a life about having newborn babies in 10 years from now that won't be close to home, but if you've got transmissions of when it was that you can still sell, you'll be able to help new moms for 10 years.
Totally.
The work we do now goes far beyond now. That's the most important thing for us to remember. It's not. It's never just about now. Because you're leaving a digital footprint in the sands of time. Totally.
Ah, thank you.
I love this pleasure.
I love you. I love. Thank you.
Oh, my gosh. If people want to follow you, where do they find you in Instagram?
Share Miami. Share Miami.
Share Miami. Perfect. Thank you. I love you. Thank you for coming on. Thank you for having me. Oh, my gosh. All right, so I'm going to see if we have space for one more people, then we have unity right after this one. So I'll be the last one. Brooke. Brooke Yancey. Brooke Yancey. I don't think I saw her name, though. I don't know if she's here. Is Brooke Yancey in the house? Alpha team, can you guys see her? Brooke? I don't think she's there. Give it a few seconds. I don't see her. All right, well, I had said, if you're not here, I will pull another person. So. Lynn Laborde? Lynn Laborde, are you here? I have a lot of people leaving testimonials not showing up on that. Do we have a Lynn in that? Oh, she is here. Okay, where is she? Let's find her.
Hey.
Hi.
Hi, beautiful.
How you doing?
I'm really well. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I am. I knew that this was gonna happen. And it's so funny because when you pulled Brooke's name, I'm like, no, no, no, that's not right. Here's. First of all, it's great to see you. I love you so much. I am very specialized in what I do. I work as a psychic, I work as a mentor, and I work as a channel. And I remember when I first came to your body of work, and you're like, you know, I don't believe in all that time stuff, but you told us about the woman who told you about, you know, from the mountains to the. To the sea and all that. And then especially when I found out that your mom reads tarot. I'm like, how could you know and just knowing from knowing you and having done countless programs with you in the two Matrix programs how incredibly psychic you are. My concern about me and how I do my work is it's too specialized. You know, I've always been a mentor. I mentor, I teach, and I do healing work with people. But I feel like when I first stepped into the world, I was like, I had someone come to me and she said, I want to work with you, I want you to coach me. And so she bought my two month coaching program. And the very last week she said, you're not a coach, you're a healer. And I was like, ouch. She said there was something that she wanted that she felt she didn't get. And then she like blocked me on social media and I was like, ouch. And ever since then, I haven't mentored anybody because I was like, well, there's nothing wrong with being a healer. And, you know, as soon as you want to clear room, they used to say, if you want to clear room, tell somebody that you sell insurance. But if you want a clear room and people go, what do you do for a living? Tell them that you channel Jesus. It's all over, you know, so it.
Depends what room that would fill a room in my world.
Right, exactly. So I just, I'm concerned because I have this incredible body of work. Like, I've learned so much from you and I've grown so much from you. And the, the testimonial that I wrote about is, you know, I got to your world in that first month, Melanie. I made 63,000 cash. And I was like, what just happened? And I brought in a new bookkeeper recently. And she's like, you know, you've done over $500,000 in two years. And I was like, like, I kind of knew it in my head. But when the bookkeeper comes through and she's like, we have this on paper. And so I'm like, I'm not worried about taking it to the next level, but I'm like, how do I bring this to the world? But it's not like a weird thing. It's not like somebody goes, but I don't believe in psychics. You know, when I'm sorry, when I'm like, I'm sorry, but I already see how many children you're going to have and I see the man you're going to marry. And you know, like, I don't tell people that stuff I used to stupid on anymore. So how do I bring that, like, to the mainstream without it sounding like, oh, my God, she's a psychic, and she talks to Jesus every single day, all the time.
Why does it have to not sound like that if that's what it is?
I don't know. I feel like. I feel like an oddball sometimes.
But you are an oddball.
I am.
Really, I am. It's so.
I remember the first time I said, you, I channel Jesus, I channel Mary Magdalene, I channel Hathorn. You're like, I don't know who that is. And I'm like, she's the Egyptian goddess of women. Like, when you tell people that I am an oddball. So maybe celebrate that.
Yes, maybe. Maybe. Maybe just celebrate exactly who you are, because this is the. This is the brilliant thing about this work. To me, I'm an oddball.
Wow.
You know, you. You guys have built. I have built an entire lineage of this industry where people are like, this is normal. But do you want to know the look on people's faces at the bank when they ask me what I do?
Or, how did you make so much? My bookkeeper was like, so, what do you do? And I said, well, I work as a psychic in a medium. And she goes, you made this money doing that? And I'm like, well, I teach people how to do what I do. I don't just do it. And I also mentor them. So I heal people where they have blockages, and that's what my mentoring is. And so when you came out with mentor, I was like, oh, But I got to tell you, there was also a little intimidation for me. I looked at those women, and it was like, oh, my God. Could I really do what they're doing? Melanie, yesterday I found a piece of paper where I wrote, In 2016, in January 2016, I make $25,000 a month. And now I do that with my eyes closed. And I was like, holy moly. Pineapple season came and went, and I didn't even realize I didn't harvest the pineapples I get, you know?
So you know what I think? I think that you're meant to build a lineage of an industry of your own, because there are so many people who feel like oddballs, and until they look at you and go, but Lynn's normal. You know, there's going to be a time where people go, lynn's normal, but I'm weird. And I wish I was like, lynn, like, normal. That's gonna happen one day. You'd be like, I'm nor. I never thought those two things would happen in the same sentence. There's a whole world of people who just want to belong. And I feel like it's just that Energetics, in the way that I teach it is still a fine line. And if you want to clear a room, say, I help people create massive wealth by changing their mindset and their inner world through wealth, energetics and personal power. People are like. Like, I don't get to sit at any important table speaking like that. It's like, all right. It's like, people don't get it quite yet, but when they experience it, they get it. And so that's why a lot of my work is very experiential. I'm not trying to sell it, I just do it. And I believe that people that are meant to be there are going to find me, and they do. But I'm very confident that there's a lot of people like me, and I'm very confident that when people experience this work, they get it. So I'm not. I'm not too worried about selling it. I'm not too worried about saying it in a way that doesn't sound weird. I'm just going to do it. And you're either going to be changed by it or realize that you're exactly this way or it's not for you. And that's fine. And I feel like that's just that confidence that you get to bring to your industry. It's just even newer than mine, that's all.
I love that. I overheard my mom and she said to one of her girlfriends, yeah, Lynn's here. Yeah, she's the one that channels Jesus. What can I say? And I was like. And I walked in the other room and I'm like, you gave me my relationship with him. Like, you know, you gave me. You told me that having a relationship with God was planting seeds and it was going to grow a tree and that. And that's why I loved what you just did with. With Bianca. That was so.
Brianna.
Brianna, Sorry. Like, I get that whole analogy. It's. And I feel like you've created something for us, this incredible world where, you know how when a tree grows, there's that Mycenaean network where all the roots talk to each other. I feel like we all do that. I feel like that's something that you've created here. All right, well, listen, I'm willing to be the oddball. I'm willing to be, you know, the one that's out in the skinny branches of, you know, talking to spirit and seeing things and knowing things, because that's who I. That's how God made me, you know.
And this is the beautiful thing. It's like, so I'm the oddball that talks about snowflakes and the, you know, the, the magic of evolution and growth over a lifetime. And Brianna speaks about, you know, roots and branches and trees. And Sharina's in a phase where she's in a new bubble of motherhood. And it's like, oh my gosh, how do I cultivate, how do I package this bliss without losing myself and still building my business and standing for what I stand for and still using all this wisdom? You're an oddball that's going to help a bunch of people who've always felt like oddballs feel like they belong. You're going to channel sources that have changed the planet 100 times over. When we try to make it make sense, we lose the magic.
It makes no sense to me. Here's how I manifested today. Remember you told us the story about you thought, what if I had a million dollar day? And then you reminded us that that happened yesterday. And I was like, what if I got chosen to do this thing with Melanie today? Like I just opened it up and gave it to the quantum field and then this happened. So thank you. I love you.
It's my pleasure. I love you so much and I love your uniqueness. You know, there are so many people in my world. So many. And I remember every interaction with you. That is a unique thing. That is a very unique thing.
Me too. When we talked for the very first time on Clubhouse and you told me to do something and I did it. Both the Matrix, we've done every alumni like all of it. You're in my heart, Melanie, and I thank you. I love you so much.
I love you so much. Don't change a thing. You're perfect and the world needs to get to know you like this because I'll tell you another thing that's really magical about you because you. Because of this ability that you have to really love people and to connect with people, you. What I love about you, and I'll tell you one of your unique gifts is that relationships with you are an ever building thing. You never need to start over. You know how there's a lot of people in the world? Well, you're. You'll see them and then if there's a lot of space between you, there's a weirdness when you haven't seen them in a while.
It's always right there. Like it's always been there. It never goes away for me.
So what's magical about that is that we can build a relationship really deep over time because every interaction really builds on itself. And when you watch the replay, you're going to get to see what everyone here saw, which is like you came on here as if you were my neighbor, as if we talk every day. You came on like, hey, okay, so here's my question. And you have this way of connecting, of connection that is a next level gift. And when I was talking about in Narata yesterday, transcending the screen, like really being able to connect to people through the screen. You have that. I can't believe I haven't met you. I feel like your physical body has been in my presence before. I feel that it has. And so you bring, you bring this like realness. That's another one of your superpowers. Don't change anything, compound it.
I love you so much.
I love you so much. Well, this module was amazing. And I said to the ladies right before, let me just move this. Right before we started, I said to my alpha team because I had Emmanuel and Stephanie and Vanessa on camera. I was like, I want this call to be so good. I want us to close the mentor for this year and feel like, you know, we did it. And all three of them, they are like, it is going to be good. It is going to be good. And I was like, it is going to be good. But this was great. This was great. If you can just feel the energy of. And I think it happened for us that the three people that came on today were people that I've had long term connection with somehow. It could have been because Kathleen, who was one of our mentees, wasn't able to make it today. But she could have been on the last call. Except my relationship is much shorter with her than with the others. It could have been. Delfin could have had her last call today. I also had a shorter relationship. Tara could have had her last call today. But it just happened that throughout this program, Brianna wasn't able to make it on all of them until the last one. So she got last call with me. This is after I built one on one time with her after she's been in my channel and then Sharina in the Matrix with me and having the baby and Lynn throughout our matrix and our alumni calls. It's like you've seen long term relationship on a screen. This for me is what mentorship really is through the seasons. Mentorship isn't what can you do for me in three months Mentorship. That's just the beginning. If you have an opportunity to coach with someone and mentor with someone for three months. Take it. Just don't disconnect from them after that three months is over. Stay connected even if it means you do a little something with them a year later. Don't go anywhere because relationships that compound change the world. When I remember, I remember last year, I remember the year before you were in my matrix. You got pregnant. Your baby is going to be one years old now. We are talking about how to do this as a young mom. How incredible is that? This is what is real. I love compounding our relationship too. This is what makes it real. Because life doesn't occur in three months. You plant a seed in three months but it takes a minute before the fruits come to and you get to work on the evolution long term. And so I'm just really grateful that we were able to have three people I have a storyline with so you could see what that feels like. I feel like that was like the theme of this call. Long term over time. And it doesn't mean long term like you never can leave. Like Brianna and I have had private coaching and she stopped private coaching on the channel now here, like there's been an ebb and flow. Sharina did the Matrix and we haven't really had a call since she was pregnant. It's been a while, Lynn. Not since. It's like there's space doesn't matter. Space and time creates relationships just as much as closeness and time. Just don't unplug. Stay close. Build love for the long run. You're going to. It's going to change your life for you and for your clients. So I love you. You are beautiful. You smell nice. I am excited that we are going to get to have a long term relationship together inside of this mentor program. I look forward for any future modules that will drop. I am grateful beyond belief for the space, for your presence, for everything that you brought to the table. And I will see you on the Internet. Bye Sa. I am a business artist and I.
