The Mentor - Day 1

This is a YouTube video titled "The Mentor - Day 1" created on May 17, 2022. The content type and title suggest it may be a video related to mentorship or a series documenting a mentoring experience, but no transcript or speaker information is provided to clarify the participants or specific context.
Sam, I am a business artist and I help people become violently successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship. Foreign hello, gorgeous. Human beings of the mentor program. Oh, this is exciting. This is probably the most excited I have been about a program in a real long time. It is a new program in the Alpha Femme world. And what I am most excited about is this is a program that speaks. Speaks to a different stage in your career. And so there's going to be moments while you're plugging into this that things will go over your head, but it's okay. There are going to be moments in this program where it's like, oh my gosh, thank goodness someone is talking about this. And that's perfect. If you are right in the perfect timing for this kind of conversation, great. And if not, you can revise it later. I think the most important thing on this journey is to remember that there's different stages of all of us, you know, where I am today compared to where I was this time last year, compared to where I was this time the year before that and the year before that and the year before that. Every year there has been massive growth and transformation. And if all goes well, there should be massive growth and transformation between now and this time next year. But what I really want to encourage you to do is to take this program for the version of you that spans across all realities. If it feels too advanced, it's okay. Let it sink into your subconscious mind. It feels like the perfect timing plug into it. This is going to be a different style of program because not everyone is going to be asking questions, even on the Q and A is not everybody is going to be asking questions. This is going to be a very specific kind of program. And my intention for this is that you always have the highest level potency in this experience in this container, that you actually have to go back to next level thinking, next level thoughts, next level conversation, next level answers, next level everything. And for that I am curating the experience. Although you may have so many questions right now, I want you to trust that by the time this program is actually meant for you, those questions won't even matter anymore. And so what I prefer is for you to listen to other people's questions. There is actually going to be an opportunity here. You are going to watch me mentor someone of my clients directly during this program and you are going to get to see what mentorship really feels like, what it looks like. My intention for this program is for us to calibrate to mentorship. I think the coaching Industry has so much potential, but I do feel it requires different lanes for different styles, maybe even different titles for different styles. And what I would really love is to anchor in the mentor lane with you. I think coaching is a little bit muddled. There are so many different ways that people do it and it's sometimes hard for us to find the integrity that we're looking for industry wide. And I think that starting a new industry, starting a new way, a new lane in this industry is going to be the way. And so this is the elevation into next dimensions. This is where I really help the women that I work with, the human beings that I work with, scale to multi million dollar years. This is where we're talking like the income that's possible in this line of the industry makes no sense. It will puzzle any cpa. I laugh with every single one of my clients about what their tax strategists or what their accountants do when they receive the final numbers for the year. And they're like, first of all, how does this increase this way from one year to another? How are these profit margins a thing? How? What? It's impossible. What is this? What do you do? How did you. It's like a huge question mark. It's a whole new industry. It is a whole new world. And so I am excited to have conversations with you about this world so that you can start to stretch your imagination, but also stretch your power and your vision so that you can walk into this, this particular vibe that for me is the one that is where all the magic is, all the power is and it is beyond all of our wildest dreams, what's possible here. So the tagline of the Alpha femme brand is she who leads herself. This for me is the most important thing about being an Alpha femme is that the person that you most lead is you. And being surrounded by other people who lead themselves, you're reminded of where you wanted to go in the first place, of what you dream of. And if you ever forget how amazing you are, you're reminded through other people, self actualizing through other people's dreams come true, that you can do it too. But it's not about learning to lead other people as much as it is learning to lead ourselves. And then the most self led are usually the ones that are most sought after for leadership from people who can lead themselves. So if I am a self led woman, I am going to desire leadership from another self led woman. And so as we are creating these extraordinary new gateways to leadership, we're opening whole new worlds where women are finally being paid what they're supposed to be paid. They're being valued the way they're supposed to be valued, and they're finding their edge in business, an edge that I call the art of business. Something that is very much more connected to the emotion, that's very much more connected to the experience, that's very much more connected to the people, that's very much more rooted in integrity and care and love and the people. And I think that this is like, this is our time to actually do what we're most effortless at and do it so well and actually have careers at this. What I want is to start to reshape what it means to be a woman in business. Not that you have to choose a family or a career. Not that you have to choose whether you can be one or all the things that you desire to be in your life. I, I actually want us to be more of everything that we want to be. And being a mentor is actually beyond being a coach. So you can be a coach and a mentor, but you could also just be a mentor. You could be a mentor in different industries. You wouldn't even need it to be in the coaching industry. But what I love about this is being a mentor in your life. If you are doing it in alignment and you are doing it with squeaky clean leadership is an opportunity for you to live your best life. And as a matter of fact, every single thing you do from a place of alignment will make you wealthier. Your relationship being better will make you wealthier. Your family life being better will make you wealthier. You being a happier person will make you wealthier. Every single thing you do from a place of alignment will make you wealthier. Once you arrive at this place where mentorship is the leading role that you embody. And the reason this is so powerful for me and why I really believe in this is I believe that we are looking for a next level of leadership in the world. We're ready for it and we're looking for it, and we're just kind of tired with the way it's always been. And the way it's always been is people tell us who the leaders are going to be and they're appointed based on either credentials or they're appointed based on reputation of what they've been capable of or what they've done. But one thing that I find is missing in the world is being appointed based on who you are. And so I talk a lot about leadership is not just about what you do. It's who you are when you do it. And so in this industry, what makes it so powerful is not just the results that you have in whatever field that you have the results in this particular field in order to succeed, it's also about who you are when you do it, how people feel in your presence, how people feel about you and your success, how, how and who you continue to be as you thrive. I think that what's missing more than anything in the plant on the planet right now is extraordinary people in the spotlight. And when I say extraordinary, I mean like good hearts aligned, spirit led, conscious human beings. Success is a full life experience. And so a lot of us have learned to put success on a pedestal. And success meant money. That's it. Success meant money. And it is still wildly desired for us to be wealthy. And we deserve to be that. And I wish for all of you to achieve as much wealth as you desire in your lifetime. But what I started to realize the more I work with the women I work with, especially in the mentorship roles, is that when the money comes, and it does, and when it comes in copious amounts and it does, you're still left with everything else that needs to be calibrated. If you're not in a great relationship, when the money comes, you're still not in a great relationship. If you haven't spent time with your kids, when the money comes, you still haven't spent time with your kids. If you have bad habits, you haven't kicked, when the money comes, the bad habits are still there. The money only creates the money. And so it's a pillar of success. And it's an important one because I truly believe that we only really become, we only really understand fully who we are when there's no more restrictions to our identity. And money is one of the first restrictions, but time is another restriction. And so a lot of times a lot of wealthy people have money but no time. And so how much is it really worth to be so rich that you have no time to spend your joy? You have so much money, but you can't take a day off, you have so much money. And so what we want in this new paradigm for womanhood is to actually craft this beautiful life where we're paid based on the value we bring to the world. And we start to really understand the value we bring to the world. A lot of women have been undervalued for a very long time because it just so happens that the gifts we have, we were born with. And so because there was no proving in order to get those gifts, we were taught that we shouldn't charge for them or that we should give for free everything that came for free to us. But I actually don't believe that. I believe that we were gifted things. So it would be effortless for us to always provide magic money. And so magic money is going to be a turn we talk, we, a term we talk about a lot in this program is the difference between the hard earned masculine energy, I am the provider energy versus I make money like clouds make rain. My alignment creates money. I attract people and their power and that, that connection and that manifestation in turn creates wealth. And there is a limitless amount that can come into my world because there is a limitless amount of people in their power that can enter my world. And so the sky isn't even the limit. And this is where the magic really happens in my experience is in that little gap of time, that little space where we realize we're creating a new shift on the planet. That is where everything changes. When we, when we stop looking at everything that's been done for evidence and we realize we have a, we have a gap, a place where we can create something brand new and there's so much energy and momentum behind it that if we really focus on it, this gets to be the greatest career ever. We don't get paid based on how many hours we work. We get paid based on value. If I'm able to help someone do something in three hours, I could do the same thing in 170 hours. Why should I charge less if I can do it in three, Shouldn't I charge more if I can do it? Most people take 170 hours to do in three hours. Shouldn't I charge more if we're speaking of gifted rather than hard working, when we think of hard work, we think, well, it only took you three hours. It's easy. When we think of gifts, we say, you're unique, you can deliver in three hours. Of course it will be worth more because with me you save not only money, but time. The mentor is the one that saves the two greatest currencies on earth, money and time. It is so extraordinary to work with a mentor because the things that are the most sought after collapse under mentorship. Why does this happen? It happens because the person that you will choose as your mentor is doing the thing that you desire and they're doing the thing you desire and they're modeling it in a way that you feel really good about. And that person is a constant conscious and subconscious reminder that you can have it something you've never had before. If you're going through something, they've probably been through it before or some sort of something that resembles that. If you are struggling with something, they can walk with you through it. If you are on the verge of having an emotional reaction that could cost you time and money in your business, you reach out to the mentor instead. You will have a reframe. You will have a shift in your perspective, A new vocabulary will emerge, Your standards will rise. And when your standards rise, your life changes. But in our life, the people that we surround ourselves the most with, people we hang out with the most, unfortunately, are the ones we tend to feel the most comfortable around. And it's harder to uphold high standards around people we're comfortable with. And so having a mentor in your corner that actually holds a standard that you want to be proud of is like an insurance policy on your power. That's what a mentor feels like to me, an insurance policy on your power. You know you have power. You also know you lose it. When you're angry, when things don't go as planned, when you're having a hard day, when someone does something they weren't supposed to do, when things go wrong right before a really important thing in your life, when someone breaks their word, when you don't know what to do, when stressed, when you're overwhelmed all of a sudden, your power is just less accessible in that moment. But having an insurance policy on your power, is there anything greater on earth? As long as you're watching, I got me. As long as I'm walking with you, I know I'm walking. As long as I'm moving with you, I'm moving. It's an insurance policy on your power. And there is no price of what that's worth apart from what your power is worth. If I am the person that you walk with, I am able to guarantee that your power walking with me is going to be at the peak of your power. But what is the peak of your power? There has got to be self leadership. I can guarantee that walking with me, you will be at the peak of your power. But what's your power? What if you don't have much of it? Well, then is it worth it investing with me? Or is it worth it maybe investing with someone who has an equal or closer level of power? What's the point in overstretching yourself? You're going to find there are mentors that are the right fit for you. And there are also mentors that you choose because they're comfortable. And then there's the mentors that terrify you. And then there's the mentors that are right for you. There's all different kinds of iterations of why someone would choose a mentor and who sometimes it's just comfortable to have someone to walk with, even if it's just like a buddy. Equal power, but different. Shoulder to shoulder. Absolutely no difference. Except for maybe one is more successful in health and fitness and one is more successful in wealth. And then you may hire your mentor for health and fitness, although you make more money. Or you may hire your mentor in money even though you're fitter. Like, it's one or the other, but it's equal power, but different. And then there's other times where it feels like someone really has mastered multiple things that you want and it stretches you. I think in everyone's life, there's a moment where you make a decision. Like, I don't even know what my greatest power is, but I feel like with this person, I'm going to find out. There's different ways of mentorship. There's like, when I'm with you, I feel like I'm a really great version of me. I think I'd like to hire you to hold me to that standard. But then there's also, like, when I'm with you, I start to feel like I can't even begin to imagine what I can do. And that is terrifying and also exhilarating. And also I think I want to walk with you and find out. And then there's others where it's like, you know, I just want someone to keep me accountable. I'm all, I'm still figuring out my power. I don't know. But it's comfortable for me to have a mentor and I'm going to walk with you. At this level, there's so many different ways to choose, but a mentor and a coach are very, very different. Mentorship is based on embodiment. Coaching is based on knowledge. The greater coaches, the ones who are the most successful, are the ones who integrate coaching and mentorship together. Because the mentorship is where your brand is created. When you are the walking embodiment of your work, there is no force that can stop you on earth. Like, you are exactly what you're talking about. Your integrity is through the roof. There's no one like us. People who actually, for a living, better themselves were a different breed. It's a whole other world, a career based on bettering yourself so you can better the world. I don't know that there's a greater thing on earth when you think about it. There's an industry where you can better yourself at a sport. There's an industry where you can better yourself at cooking, there's an industry where you can better yourself at art or singing or this is just bettering yourself at emotional intelligence, action, personal power, leadership, communication, whatever it is that's important to you. So what I love about this industry more than anything is that it's leadership, but not the kind of leadership where if there isn't a leader, everyone's lost. The kind of leadership where the more we rise, the further we go as a collective. The kind of leadership where we're not just chosen because of what we're capable of, we're chosen because of who we are, even though we're capable of so much. This is an industry where there's respect, this is an industry where there's kindness. And yeah, there are branches of the coaching industry that I don't see that in. But this is why I want to move us into the mentorship era. I want you to start to imagine a life where there's the mentors and the coaches and it's so easy to find the line. One is completely embodied and every single thing they stand for is an energetic match for what they say and the other one has really great knowledge. They may or may not be whoever they want to be behind the scenes or. But they have good knowledge and their knowledge can help people, but they're not committed to a life where they're the embodiment of their work. They will be paid differently, they will be known differently, they will be remembered differently, and there is nothing wrong with it. But in order to really create unrealistic growth, unrealistic mind boggling careers in this industry, it's the mentor that makes the difference. The mentor coach or the mentor, whatever else. Because you will see that on television. The star chefs, they're the ones who teach on, you know, the sports coaches make a fortune, but the ones that are retired players make even more. There's so much about the one who walks the talk. There's something about the one who walks the talk, the one that has five restaurants and is teaching a cooking show on tv, that celebrity, star, artist, there's something about that. The world more and more is changing. If I don't like you at all, if there's no endearing qualities about you, if you're not fundamentally good, your success will last less in this industry. What I found is that what we love and what we hope for more than anything is people who embody the life of our dreams. And as long as we can find people who embody the life of our dreams, we can keep going for what we want. It's our job, our duty, our responsibility to this industry to be good people while we become wealthy, to be great people while we create the most extraordinary industry. Because part of the dream is to be wealthy and kind and loved and respected and honored and cherished and not just rich and bullied on the Internet. Not rich and misunderstood, not rich and alone. Nobody signs up for that. That's not what we want. And so it's creating this industry where we can do better. We can do better in our communication. We can do better in our respect for one another. We can do better in the way the world is. We can do better in business, we can do better in collaborations. We can do better with our word. There are so many levels that we can raise the bar. And the mentorship industry is the insurance policy on those dreams. If it's going to happen, it's going to happen together because we're collectively going to create a standard that we will uphold together. And so what I found is the greatest difference between coaching and mentorship is the level of question, the level of discussion. In the coaching industry, it's like, how. How do you do this in the mentoring industry, it's why? Why do you do that? Why would that not work? Why would that work? There's a deeper desire for meaning in the mentoring industry. Coaching is a lot about the results. Mentoring is about the meaning. And so when you get to this level of life where it's not just about the results anymore, because the results you figured out how to have, you're going to realize there are so many other things that are important to you. And I remember when I first started generating wealth in my life, anything anyone said about this was hard for me to comprehend. I thought, you know, eventually something is going to happen, and eventually I am not. Hang on a second. I saw something about hypermind, Unity, hypermind and coaching. Hypermind was coaching Unity as mentoring. You know what? I would say that that's prob. Probably very true. So my first iteration of my mastermind was very much coaching questions. How do you do this? How do you do that? How do you do this? And the clients that I had were very much looking for coaching. And although there's still coaching in my mastermind from time to time, most of it is mentorship. It's about the meaning. So when you get to the point in your Career where, and this is what I was saying. Like, there was a time in my career where I realized it's not just about the money, which was so mind blowing because in the beginning I thought I had everything else, thought I had everything else. And all that needed to happen was the success to come. But it's not the truth in the mentorship I have with my clients. It's not even just the money. Yeah, we celebrate the money, we talk about the money. But beyond that, it's how to hold big things, expectations, projections from other people. How to continue to be inspired when your work feels like it's being copied or taken. How to continue to lead when it feels like there's people that are not in a good energy around you or wanting you to fail. How does it feel when you hear a bad thing about you on the Internet that you know isn't true and you don't know how to address it? When you receive an inbox message that's really difficult to respond to with class, in a moment of heat, when you're feeling heartbroken by things from your past, or a person in your family that doesn't get it, or an old friend that doesn't get it, or even an old client that comes back resurfaces with mean things or, or misunderstandings or. There's so much emotional intelligence in this journey, it's out of this world. Because when the money comes, and it will, what you will want more than anything is to be able to experience joy and bliss and peace and space and time. I was actually, actually speaking to one of my past clients today and you know, she had her baby and she's so happy and she's running this coaching program and took three months maternity leave. And there was an uproar about the fact that she wanted to take space and time off even though there's so many recorded resources. And I want us to be able to have it all. And I want us to be able to go on maternity leave and not worry about our businesses. I want us to be able to be family first entrepreneurs and still grow extraordinary businesses. I want us to put the things that matter to us most at the forefront of our lives and for people to love us for that. I want to be respected not just for the work I do, but the person that I am. And I think that if we can change things in the world where that is a little more at the forefront, we are going to have a better world. But if it is all about perfection and how hard you work, we will never move out of the old paradigm. And although I don't believe it needs to die for a new one to be birthed, and I do understand that there will be a lot of people that are still remaining in old ways for a very long time. I think we could build something on top of it. I want to celebrate time off. I think as much as celebrating a huge money milestone is celebrating taking time off and your business doesn't crumble. Setting up your business in a way where you can take a week off and all of your people know how to run it like clockwork. Setting up your own business, your own company, and being able to walk away from it to create a human life and come back in full force with inspiration months later and everyone's just happy you're back, that you can plan a wedding and your business at the same time and go on a honeymoon without being disrupted at all. We can be better bosses than the ones we left. Please. Because. Or else what is the point? And so the coaching industry does require work. It is important and it is a lot of the time. Time for money, time for money, time for money. But there's the mentor coach and then there's the mentor. And in these industries, it's value, not time. If you figure out how to create value, it won't matter how much time you spend. And value, in my experience, is created in caring. If I will get on a scale of 1 to 10, I will get so much value from something that you cared a little bit about offering me. But if you cared 100% about offering it to me, the value I receive is far greater. And so your level of care in your work, your level of connection to your work and the amount of goodness in your heart changes how you lead, changes how you mentor. You cannot pay a person to care. Doesn't matter how much you pay them, you can't pay them to care. This is why there is no price on a mentor, because you're not paying them to care. But they will. They cannot get to where they are without it. They can't actually get to where they are in their business. Where you look up and you say, wow, I love this person. I love what they stand for, I love what they do, and I want them to mentor me. They don't get to that place unless they're able to care. But you can't pay them to care. So a person who doesn't can't be paid to. And a person who does just does. And so there's no price. There's no price. This is why? When mentors tell you how much it is, you just decide whether it's a match for you or not. There's no logical number. Whether you're charging a million dollars a year, whether you're charging six figures a year, whether you're charging $10,000 a year, whether you charge $100 an hour. No one can tell you what your mentorship is worth because it's an energetic match for value. So if we bring back what we started saying at the beginning of this conversation, it was like when you walk with me, you will walk at your highest frequency of power. What is that though? What if your highest frequency of power is like a thousand dollars a month? Fighting with your partner because you can't be bothered, trying to communicate differently. Short tempered with your kids because they should know better. Your house is a mess, but who cares? Nobody comes over anyway. And that's it. That's, that's right now your current best. And that's all where you want to go. What's the point in hiring super high level mentorship? There's no point. No matter what price point you're offered, it'll always be too much. But what if your level of power is a $10,000 month? A relationship with a partner where you care about really being an extraordinary partner. Desiring to be the kind of parent for your children that makes a difference in their lives. Wanting to be a part of society, wanting to give back. All of a sudden someone holding you at your highest point of power just changed value quite dramatically. What if now all of a sudden your point of power is six figures a month? Six figures a month. Wanting to have a marriage that's like a fairy tale marriage, A relationship with your kids that you could write a book about, being known worldwide, holding a reputation that people know about all over the planet. Whoa, hang on. This requires another level of insurance. It's a different insurance policy on your power. What if you're making a million dollars a month? A million dollars a month. You've got multiple properties, multiple vehicles, multiple people working for you, so many people on your team, people you've got to lead, people you care about, people you want to make sure are okay. So many clients, different business models running. You want to make sure that your partnership is under control in the most beautiful way. That your masculine, feminine energetics are balanced, that your partner feels whole, that you feel whole, that your kids are taken care of, that you're having an incredible life with, that you get time off, that you get to spend time with your parents, your family. That you can take the weekends off, that you're available at night to help with the homework, that you can do all the things that you care about. That's a different insurance policy. How much power do you need to calibrate to in order to hold that? And so there is no right price point or wrong price point. There's just the price point that feels like the right amount of insurance on your energy. And we all know this with the right person watching, like, if God was a fly on the wall, we would all walk differently. If we were actually being watched every second of our lives, there are things we wouldn't do and things we wouldn't say in ways we wouldn't behave. And there's something about having a mentor that changes our standards. The best. What's my best for however long I decide to walk with this person. And so the most important part as we enter this program is if you can imagine that I'm a fly on the wall. If you have a mentor that's a part of this program, because we're going to have some of my clients are going to show up and be mentored here. They may be your coach or someone you've worked with in the past. What if they were a fly on the wall in your life? What are the things you might have said like, oh, yeah, I'm going to do this about my business and then you didn't. Or like, I'm going to be really kind to my partner and then weren't like, what are some of those things you might catch yourself never doing again? If you had a mentor that you highly valued, be a fly on the wall in your life. But the thing is, mentors aren't a fly on the wall. They only know what you share with them. And so there's also another added part, which is your level of integrity and how transparent and vulnerable and honest you're going to be with your mentor. Are you going to tell them how it really went or are you going to tell them what sounds cool? Are you going to show up? Are you going to honor your word or are you going to not honor your word, pretend you did, and then come to them with a problem like it didn't work? When they give you feedback, are you going to say, oh, yeah, cool, thank you, and pretend you're going to do it even though you know you're not going to do it? Or are you going to share with them? I have a huge aversion to this. I don't know what it is, but I can already Tell I'm not going to do it. How transparent, how honest can you be with the person that you care about and love and admire for all the right reasons, all the right reasons. Not putting on a pedestal because they have money. Money is the byproduct of the women we become in this industry. Money is the byproduct of the person we become. The more in alignment we are, the wealthier we become. The more we walk the talk, the wealthier we become. And so mentorship is, is honestly not just an insurance policy on the client, it's also an insurance policy on the mentor. For those of you here who've mentored people before, have you noticed how being a mentor has up leveled your life? How so often you think to yourself, if this is happening to me, there is no way. I have got, I've got to show up. Like, what do I, what would I tell my clients? Like, I have got to raise the bar. This is going to have to change the way that I do it. I'm going to have to do better. I can do better. I've got to do this. I've got to show up. I've got to do it. Because there's a responsibility, there's a great power. Quoting Spider Man. With great power comes great responsibility. And so you're going to be given great power as a mentor. It's going to be an extraordinary thing. There's so much wealth, so much respect, so much care, so much love, so much admiration for all the right reasons that comes with being a mentor. But there is a lot of responsibility. A responsibility to constantly be learning. A responsibility to lead yourself in the most powerful way. A responsibility to be constantly doing what you know you've got to do for yourself, for your clients and for the world. That's not easy. And being a mentor is definitely never about being perfect. And in this strain and this line, in this path of mentorship, what is very important for me, for all of us, is that we do not expect perfection from each other because it is not healthy. And then we're going to go back into being fake. Anyone on earth that is perfect is hiding the things that aren't. And that is not healthy for any of us. And I really believe in the old paradigm of putting people on pedestals, especially with artists. This is why so many of them have breakdowns, emotional breakdowns, nervous breakdowns, mental breakdowns. Because the pressure of being something they're not eventually breaks them. What if we could just be loved and admired for the greatest parts of us? I want to Be loved and admired for my heart, my kindness, my compassion, my ability to lead myself and others, for my understanding of wealth, communication, money, emotional intelligence, care. That's what I want to be remembered for. And so I'm going to walk in alignment with all of those things, and I'm going to better myself in those things forever. Whatever you want to be known for in your mentorship, that's what you got to walk yourself through as much as possible. But you will not be perfect, and I will not be perfect. And in our surrendering of that, we actually create a much more viable industry. Because if not, everyone's just waiting for the one perfect person that's going to come and save the day. And as soon as that person trips up, it's the cancel culture. And so how do we create something that is bigger than a trend if it's based in honesty, if it's based in truth and transparency, like we are imperfect people doing our best, and our best is being shown and modeled, and our best is being calibrated to. And we're equal power, but different. And there's different magic in all of us. This is an extraordinary industry, but you've got to be willing to ask the kind of questions that change your core, not just your mind. In the coaching industry, you ask, how questions. How do I become a mentor? In the mentoring industry, you ask questions, why do I become a mentor? You become a mentor because you want to live the greatest life you could ever live. And you being a mentor is an insurance policy on your own greatness. It's an extra layer, an extra level of care, and of a reason why you want to become a mentor. Because it's been effortless for you your whole life to give people support. And bettering yourself is your most favorite thing to do. So why not be wildly compensated for it? You want to be a mentor. Why? Because it makes the world a better place. You want to be a mentor, why? Because the income is not capped. There is no limit. The sky. In this world, the sky isn't even the limit. I want to be a mentor. Why? Because it elevates the way I am in my communication. It elevates the way I am in my relationships. It elevates the way I am in my business. It elevates my identity. Being a mentor, why? Because if we all lived our life knowing that we could help people through living our best lives, maybe we would all have a bigger reason. So many people wonder why. What's the point? What's the point in being a good person? No One's nice to me. What's the point? What's the point in working so hard if this or that. What's the point? What if the point is we, we graft a better world in this on this walk like this is the way that we make things more powerful on the planet where people say they've got big dreams and they make them come true. I don't know who said this but there's a quote that's like about dying with dream. Die with memories, not dreams. Or like so many the place where the most dreams are in the graveyard. Like those are the saddest statements. So many people with so many ideas. People who think one day I'm going to do this and one day I'm going to do that and they never do it. Why? Because there's no one that ever said I think you can do this, I know you can do this. Because no one encouraged. There was no environment that was, that was good for them to blossom and grow. There was no evidence around them, there was nothing to believe in that was bigger than them. We get to change all of that. But there's a reason that it wasn't easy to find before now and one of the greatest reasons it hasn't been easy because people have full time jobs with partners and kids and they don't have time to just mentor everybody. But what if it's their job? What if they don't have a million other things that they have to do that their life is an example of who they are and their career is the mentorship. Now we're able to make it in job. What if they don't have a million other things that they have to do that their life is an example of who they are and their career is the mentorship. Now we're able to make it mainstream to have communities to calibrate to. We're able to make it mainstream to have a leader that's your aligned connection be the person that walks with you as you fulfill your dreams and that person doesn't have to try to fit it. In between having a good marriage, being good parent and holding a full time job, we actually start to see ourselves see each other as valuable as we are. Not someone who needs to squeeze in helping people on top of everything else that's expected of us. This is a full time job when you're good at is a full time job and if you're excellent at it, prepare for a wait list because this is beyond. But your life gets to be being the evidence of why you should be the mentor and then executing on that with the right people. And there's so much freedom there. Now, where it's different though, than coaching is that there really is no curriculum in mentorship. What we really need to do is attract the people that are an energetic match for leadership, an energetic match for mentorship, the ones who know how to ask the questions. And so if you're a mentor in a different industry, in the hair industry, for example, you would understand the difference between being a hair coach, like a styling coach or a mentor. A mentor that's already had a hair salon, a mentor who's trained countless hairstylists, hairdressers, color artists, and that comes and helps you in your salon as an entrepreneur, as someone who owns a salon and has employees, how to do the best job possible, how to have. That's so different than someone showing you how to blow dry hair or cut the perfect fringe. There is a difference between the coaching of how you do this and the mentoring of. From my experience, although you could even have mentorship around hairstyling, but it would usually be from one experienced stylist to another. It's once you are already so passionate about your career and all of a sudden there's an opportunity to meet one of the greatest hairstylists of all times, an opportunity to be trained by a master stylist that'll show you the tricks that this person has used for years and years and the people's hair they've styled. And you want to learn their craft, not because you don't know, but because they have a way that's world renowned and you want to better yourself. That's mentorship. It happens in so many different industries that mentorship arises. But the one thing is, it's usually not people who want to know how to do something. It's people who want to sharpen their skills, who want to elevate themselves, who want to be better, do better, become more. Mentorship is on the frequency of more. More than is needed, more than is required. It's not something you do because you're lacking. It's not something you do because you're afraid. It's not something you do because without the mentor, you fail. It's something you do because you know how great you are at your best. And having someone that keeps you there has no price. Having someone that when you walk with them, you are a greater version of yourself. And you can hold yourself to that. In one conversation, you bring yourself back. Even if they don't respond, you notice, you go to Send them a voice memo or something. And you realize, I'm not going to say this. This is not who I am with this person. Whoa. You coach yourself even before it even happens. There is an up level standard in who we are and how we behave when we have a mentor that believes in us and that we believe in. And so for the whole space of this program, what I want to invite you to do is imagine that this space is your mentor. I want you to present yourself here not for what you've done. I want you to present yourself here for what you want. I don't want to know what you've done yet. I want to know where you dream of going. I want to know what your level 10 is. Your greatest parts of you that you've touched, but you haven't been able to necessarily uphold. The parts of you that you know you're capable of. And then you fall off track. I want you to talk to me about the version of you you know is in there already, but for some reason, you just can't stay on top of that identity. I only want to know you as that person in this mentorship. During this course, I want you to allow yourself to fully embody the version of you who only requires an insurance policy on the greatness you know you already have. You don't need someone to tell you how to do it, you know. What you need is an energetic calibration portal that makes sure that you don't keep falling in and out, on and off, up and down of your own power. And from time to time, when you're blinded by sadness, disappointment, guilt, rage, all the emotions that come in building a business and having a life and having a relationship and having kids and all the things that there is someone that can hold you to that higher standard and speak to you on how to navigate these highly emotional things and that you respect them enough to change your behavior in your most vulnerable moments. Because we don't struggle when we're in our power. We struggle when we're beside it. And there are things that kick us out of our power. These last few years in the world have not been easy to navigate. There has been a lot. And as the world reopens, there's still a lot that we've been holding. There's a lot of feelings. There's a lot of a lot that's been happening. And so we're not just perfect people. You're going to have times where people say things to you. And although your mind knows every great thing that you should say, all your intelligence will fly out the window. But if there's someone that holds you to your greatness, all it will need is for you to imagine a conversation with that person. It will change the way you show up. I want you to practice that with this group. If this group were your mentor, how would you show up inside of it? I want you to start thinking about why questions. Because why questions are discussion questions, how questions are receiving questions like, you just listen, there's no engagement. What's a why question for? Why would I want this? Why do we do that? Why would we believe in that? Why do I do that? These questions are existential questions. And some of the greatest minds said, the bigger the why, the easier the how. And so if the why is big enough, it's easier to do. I think it was Jim Rohn that said that the bigger the why, the easier the how. Then shouldn't we be focusing on why? If the why impacts the how, then why are we thinking about how, when we could be thinking about why? Why do we communicate this way? Why this method of communication? Why do we believe this about money? And why would it change things if we believed it this way, why do we set up our businesses this way? And why would we make this decision and not that decision? Why? Why is a discussion, one that you're a part of. And so if you start asking why questions, there's a very special energetic connection that I found occurs in how questions. Your energetic connection to the question is that you don't know how, which makes it unavailable to you. If I don't know how, I don't know how I'm stuck. But if I don't know why, that doesn't mean I can't have it anyway. I can have everything I've always wanted and still wonder why I was chosen, why I was the one, why it happened that way. It doesn't stop anything to wonder why, but it stops everything to wonder how energetically you change the way things happen in your life. Why brings more meaning, more value, more beauty, more depth, but it also kind of slides between the cracks. It doesn't stop things. How stops things. How do I do that? I'm not even going to move until I have the answer. But why is like I'm already doing it. When you get. When you have a moment, let's have a discussion about this. But I'm still doing it. I don't know why. I don't know why I'm doing it. Maybe I'm not clear on the depth of it yet. And I think that if I had more depth about it, I'd go further with it, and I think I would be more connected to it, and I think I would enjoy it more, and I think I would honor it more, and I think I might be able to be a better leader in it, but that's not stopping me from doing it. Why? You'll notice that most your questions that have a how actually have a why. Any question you've ever had is a better question if you figure out how to ask a why question rather than a how question, because it engages your heart and your mind and your meaning. And mentorship is all about meaning. I've created a business that's built on meaning where it matters and erasing of meaning where it doesn't. I've taken control back over how I perceive my own life. I give the meaning. And so if it's a beautiful meaning, I enhance it. I deepen it. I learn from it. I connect to it. I get empowered by the meaning of my own life. And if it's not good that I make it mean nothing at all, because I have the power to do that. It's just something that happened and I can learn from it. Learn the lessons, let the meaning go. Mentors are meaning machines. You help your clients really connect to what it means every time they succeed, and you help them wash away whatever they've made it mean every time they fail. You help them blend a lot of the meaning when they're angry, create new meaning in its place when they're so frustrated that they can't forgive you. Help them change the meaning when they're so overwhelmed that they don't think they can succeed because something's failing you help them reframe the meaning. It's not about doing things differently. It's about doing things and being a different person as you do them. What changes us more than any other thing is who we are when we're doing things, who we are when we're thinking about it, who we are when we're feeling about it, who we are when we're. When we're about it. And so mentorship is about crafting that identity. Who am I in a conflict? What's the meaning of a conflict to me? Who am I when I'm selling? What's the meaning of sales to me? Who am I when I'm leading? What's the meaning of leadership to me? Why does it matter to have this? Why does it matter? The meaning changes everything. And so I would also like you to tell me what is the reason that you desire to have a beautiful life and what that, what does that look like for you if you didn't, if you weren't wondering why so much or if you weren't wondering how so much, how you were going to manage to be successful, whatever that looks like to you, and I'd love to know why would you be doing it? If you spent more time thinking about why, then how I think something magical might happen. You'd wake up having most of it and you'd wonder how the heck you did it. Because in this program and a lot of my other programs, you will hear me say, you will wonder how to do it until you wonder how you did it. That's mentorship. You keep walking. So I want to know who you are in the identity of the things you desire, what's your best that you've ever done? And what would your life be like if you could hold that level, that level 10 level view? And why do you want it? Why do you want to create the things you want to create? Just in this opening, we're setting out a new frequency out into the planet. This is no longer I want to do this, but I don't know how it's. I am doing this, and here's why. You are claiming your place as magic on legs on this planet. Someone who will impact change for you, for the people closest to you, your family and for the world. But it starts with you. So I am looking forward to seeing your responses in the group. There's going to be a couple of modules before we start with the mentorship back and forth with some of my clients. There's a few things I'm going to bring to the table. If you are VIP and you're going to be one of the people who has an exchange, multiple exchanges with me during this program already just start connecting to things that may be coming up for you during this, where you're like anything that comes up for this. Because the magical thing about mentorship is the questions that emerge are the kinds of questions that create discussion. And so I often tell my clients, you know, people would pay just to listen to this phone call. Because the question and the answer and the answer and the thought and the thing, and there's a momentum that occurs in these kinds of conversations. It doesn't feel like stop and go. It feels like we could talk forever. It feels like the kinds of conversations you could stay up till 4 o' clock in the morning just talking because it's too good, because it feels so good and so These are the kinds of discussions that we're going to have inside of this program. And I want to help you during and after this change, the kinds of discussions you have in your life, even with the closest people in your world, your partner, your kids, your clients up, leveling your experience, because there's an immediate impact on them when you do that. So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the first module of this mentor program. This is the beginning of the most potent transmission when it comes to mentorship. We are not yet even in the industry scratching these conversations. This is going to make so many waves. I already know how many more people are going to walk in their mentorship after this program. I already know how much more beautiful leadership I'm going to. I'm going to see. I'm going to feel. I can already feel it. I can already feel it. So be in the vibes. Treat this program like your mentor and see if for the next few days, until the end of this program. Because that's really all it is in the big scheme of things. You're able to hold yourself at the highest level. Like God is a fly on the wall, like your mentor is a fly on the wall. Like your greatest clients are a fly on the wall. Lead yourself with that kind of why and let's see what happens by the end of this. Time flies. Time flies in sausage rolls is what my grandmother used to say. All right. I love you. You're beautiful. You smell nice. And I will see you tomorrow for the next module by Sam. I am a business artist and I help people become wildly successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship.
