The Mentor - Day 3

Melanie leads a mentorship session with Brianna, a business owner and spiritual leader, exploring the difference between coaching and mentorship. They discuss why imperfection and authenticity matter in leadership, and how to navigate growth and challenges in both entrepreneurial and spiritual work.
Sam, I am a business artist and I have people become wildly successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship.
Foreign.
Beings of the mentor program. I just love reading the comments at the beginning. My favorites like, hello visionaries, whoever said that I love you, that was epic and fantastic. And to the person who said I was glowing, I'm actually sweating is what's happening in this moment. I'm so hot. I love that it looks like a globe. Probably shouldn't have said anything about it. A little too honest in this moment.
All right.
Hello gorgeous human beings today. Thank you, Sigrid. I very much appreciate that Today we are going to start diving a little bit with some mentorship. There's going to be one or two people that are going to be coming in with a question. It's going to be really fun. And there's a few things I want to kick us off with, get started with. So the first thing I want to talk to you about is how important it is for us to walk with our imperfections as mentors. And this is something that comes up so much with my clients. And I think that the thing of trying to be perfect is actually a coach mentality thing. When there is so much competition and you are trying to look like the coolest one out there and the best one out there and the prettiest one out there in order to try to sell your programs because there is so much competition and everybody is sell seemingly selling the thing the same thing. Like there's 10 different programs on money and so you have to be the coolest and the prettiest and the best or else people won't buy from you. When there's so many programs on business, when there's so many programs on branding, when there's so many programs on love and relationships and romance and style and like, how do you, how do you stand out? And so it creates this thing where people think they need to work harder at looking perfect in order to stand out. And what that looks like, if you imagine like the real estate market, it's like a house where the materials are so luxurious looking and the house looks like it's so prestigious, but it's all the cheapest materials and it hasn't been built properly with not the right foundations. Like it's a stage home. It's really pretty to take pictures of, but it doesn't hold. And so what is really important in the difference between being a coach and being a mentor is like what materials you are made of. It is not just about how it looks. It is how it feels. It is how it is at the depth of your core, of your soul. And it is not. We are not perfect. And so anytime anyone is pretending to be, they are going to have a hard time becoming a mentor. Because what I have found is my greatest success has come from being transparent about my problems. My overwhelm, my health issues when I was having really bad health issues. My stress, my sadness with the magazine or the newspaper and the article that came out last year and the interviews and the imperfections, the things that aren't perfect. The fact that I say over and over again, I'm not perfect. It's so important that we be honest about that, that we're a work of art and a work in progress at the same time. And it isn't necessarily about broadcasting all your flaws and being like, I have bad breath. And also, I do this weird thing where I speak over people. It's really annoying. And what else is imperfect about me? I can't control my farts. And also, I'm just rude overall. So welcome to my world. And here's a link to buy from me. Here's me being vulnerable and authentic. That's not what I mean. But what we're actually looking to do is to just not have this energy of, like, I'm perfect. It's all it's needed. I think a lot of people put people on pedestals because the energy they're trying to portray is that they're perfect. And so I put you on a pedestal because you're perfect. But if you are just honest enough to have the energy that you're not, you're going to have a much more calm life. Like, we're not perfect. That's not what we're selling. We're not selling perfection. What we're doing is we're looking at certain areas in our lives where we've cracked certain codes and we're walking with people who want to achieve the things that we now understand effortlessly, while also walking ourselves. It's my experience that the greatest mentors are the ones who are still bettering themselves, bettering different parts of themselves. Like, I've cracked this code and I'm still working on this one. I've cracked this code and I'm still working on this one. And you don't. This is the thing. It's not even about saying it. It's about embodying that and not fearing and not expecting that. People expect your perfection. People do not expect your perfection unless you are telling them you're perfect. People are not expecting your perfection unless you're pretending that you're perfect. So we put ourselves in our own trap. When we do that, we put ourselves in our own trap of if anything goes wrong, I'm going to lose everything. The second I'm not okay, I'm going to lose everything. The second I'm working on something, I'm going to lose everything. And that is an old paradigm that we really want to step away from because our lives are constantly changing and our lives are constantly shifting, and there's always things that we are having to navigate in life. And so if we're only successful when we're perfect, that creates so much stress and so much anxiety in our lives. Like, everything has to be perfect. Everything has to be perfect all the time. And the minute. The minute it isn't, we go into a downward spiral. And so a lot of times, these are like the two sides of the same coin, right? The flip side. So the flip side to that is that there's also this. This fear of continuing to desire at a certain point. And I'm sure some of you have felt this in your journey. Like, is it okay for me to keep celebrating at this point when my celebrations are so successful? Can I keep celebrating this amount? Can I keep being proud of myself at this level? Can I keep wanting more beyond this? Can I actually want more than this? Because it kind of feels like this is so much already. What if I get unrelatable? What if people don't relate to me? And so the thing with mentorship is we've got to believe in people and their power, which is the first thing. The second thing is people won't relate to where you are in the same way that they relate to where they are, but they will relate to where you are in response to where they want to be. Where they will relate to you is in your energy, of that you're still working on yourself. So if you get to this place in your energy where you're just like, hello, I'm perfect, this is a program about how you can also be perfect. It will be very hard work for you, although it's easy for me. But I'm going to show you how to be perfect. If that's your angle, people feel small. But if the angle is, I'm still working on my dreams, even though they're huge and they're wild and they make no sense. And I've achieved all this while I'm working on my dreams. And what I currently have is the thing that you want and the thing that I want, I don't have yet. And so you're walking with me while I still walk towards my dreams and you still walk towards yours. Now you're relatable. What makes us relatable is not what we have. It's who we are. And so when we think we're perfect and we have nothing left to learn, that's what tends to make us unrelatable. Because as we're still a walk in work in progress, a work of art and a work in progress at the same time, we are relatable. Like, relatable to who? See, I'm relatable to the dreamers. I still dream. I still dream so big. I still wonder how my life is going to unfold. And that makes me relatable. That I'm still dreaming, that I'm still growing, that I'm still evolving, that I'm still celebrating, that I don't take this for granted, that I'm still looking for new ways. And so you guys can feel super related to me, but I could think to myself, oh, nobody will think I'm relatable anymore because I've done something that no one has done. But it's like that would mean the reason we're relatable is because of what we do and what we have. And I don't believe that. I believe we're relatable because of who we are. And who I am is a dreamer. Who I am is a person who's constantly on a quest to achieve beautiful things in my life. What I feel, who I am is a person who sees the beauty in life. Who I am is relatable. Who I am hasn't changed much, even though what I do and what I have has changed a lot. My heart, the same heart and the same girl I was 10 years ago, just with more wisdom and more depth, which is things that people want anyway. So how could I possibly become unrelatable? Where the mentors make the mistakes is they either want to be relatable to the people they're speaking to, and they're so afraid to uplevel their message and to leave people behind that they stay in that coach role for too long. Because instead of speaking to the leaders who are already moving, they keep speaking to the beginners. And when they keep speaking to the beginners, they stay in that coach mode. And eventually, and I was actually having a conversation with one of my clients about this this morning, eventually, there's a separation that occurs where at first, when you first start being successful, and I went through this where it was like, all of a sudden I'm successful, Like, how the heck did that happen? And people who'd been watching me at this relatable level all of a sudden were gobsmacked by my success. And it was like, you just did the thing that we all want to do and we watched you do it. How did you do it? We still find you relatable because in this moment, it's a miracle what just happened to you. And you can teach us the miracle. But as soon as it became normal for me to continue to expand, when it was not normal for them to continue to expand, the gap started getting created. And all of a sudden I was no longer relatable. It wasn't like, oh, you were like me yesterday and now you've discovered something and I can learn it from you. It's like you have changed. You have actually cracked a code that I haven't. And now it hurts me to watch. Now it doesn't feel the same. It doesn't feel like I'm watching someone just like me who cracked a code. It looks like I've just watched another person succeed when I haven't. And there's a gap that starts to occur. And if you keep trying to speak to the people who haven't made it yet and trying to keep yourself relatable to them, it does create a gap. So where we are the most embodied as mentors is not to speak to people about where we used to be. It is not to talk to a certain person at a certain space and time. Like in the coaching industry, you might niche a certain program. Mentorship is not about where people are, it is about where they want to go. It has nothing to do with where they are. If you have. If there's a person that is brave enough and I have one of my clients, this is one of the most inspiring stories. She blows my mind. This woman reaches out to me last year and she says, I have no idea why, but you need to be my private mentor. I'm nowhere near earning what I should in order to hire you one on one. It doesn't make any sense, but I know it in my body. It's you. She filled out the application. All the parts that were non financial just were perfect. I was like, this is. This is my person. I feel it, I feel her. But the money part, I was like, how is she even going to pay for this coaching? It doesn't make sense. And she said, I have the money, I have it aside. It's just not from this coaching Business, but I just feel it. I'm supposed to work with you. And I had to sit with myself, like, what do I do? Do I mentor this person who is not there financially? It's like everything else is there. Who am I to say that she's not the one? Who am I to say that she's not ready yet? Like, what would I be basing it on? The fact that she hasn't done it yet? I've got to talk to her. So I messaged her and I said, look, my only concern is the financial part. She said, I know, I know. It doesn't make any sense. I just know it's you. I felt into it. I said, okay. Okay. We started working together in February of this year. I love this woman. She's out of this world. Incredible. And now her success is growing at work speed, where normal, normal time and space at the beginning of a business, business is just like a different timeline. Hers is kind of catapulting, like wild fire. But she didn't have what I would predictably have said she would have needed to have. Doesn't matter. She knew where she was going, and she was really clear about it, and she was really clear that it was meant to be with me, and she was very clear that she wasn't putting a pressure to become, like, a millionaire in three months. She just knew this is. This is the journey she had to go on. And it was just the most extraordinary, and it has been the most extraordinary opportunity to get to coach this woman and mentor this woman who is a genius in so many other areas of life. Like, it's not like she's a beginner in life. She's advanced in so many things, things I can't even begin to understand. But as far as the online world and creating offers and things like that, we've leaped and bounded, like, was huge. But she knew where she was going. She knew where she was going. And so I said, okay, we're gonna do it. So mentorship is not about where you are. It's about where you're going. And is it an energetic match? Can you feel in your soul that you believe in this person? If there had been any part of me that would have looked at her and said, I just don't think she can do it, I would never have taken her on. But when I looked at her, when I felt her energy, when she speaks, when I looked at what she's got already, I was like, this woman is magic on legs. I feel it. I believe. And that's all it takes. And we've had the most incredible journey. So when you're thinking about mentorship, it is a different kind of conversation. You are not speaking to people's problems. You are speaking to their dreams. You are speaking to their bigness. You are speaking to their beyond, their wildest hopes and dreams. And what that usually looks like is where you're standing. In most cases, that's what it looks like. And I saw there was a question inside the Facebook group that was like, can we become a mentor even if we're not a millionaire? You can, as long as you're not mentoring people on how to become a millionaire. In my opinion, you could coach a person on how to become a millionaire, but you couldn't mentor one if you've never done it, in my opinion. And I know that there are diverse, diverse opinions about this. But for me, even though you might be able to tell me how to make a million dollars when I'm having all the pressure that comes with that exact issue, and you've never had that perpendiculum. You've never had that, that moment in your life. It's going to be difficult for me to take that advice from you. And I've noticed that in my journey, in my career, that there are certain things that are hard to receive from certain people when you know that they don't know. So mentorship is magic like that because you hold codes where people feel safe in the sense where it's like, you've been there, you've done that, and you're here. So I'm going to be okay, as opposed to, you don't know, you've never felt it, and you're telling me I'm going to be okay, which for some people can still work. But as a rule of thumb, generally a lot of the time when it comes to mentorship, you're far more powerful in the things you've walked through before. So you can still be a mentor if you want to be a relationship mentor. I mean, if you would have, if you made a million dollars and lost it all, you could still be a mentor on how to make a million dollars. It doesn't mean that you have to have it, like, as long as you've been in a healthy, amazing relationship, you could be a relationship mentor. It doesn't mean that you have to currently be in it, but you have to have experienced it. That's my opinion. So the thing with being a mentor is it's all about evolution, growth, reaching new levels, bringing our best self, our best game, sharpening our edge. And so doing that with a person who's doing that is the most activating thing. So there are mentors, and I think in the old paradigm, it was kind of like this where it was like, I teach when I'm done, I'm going to be a mentor when I've done everything there is to be done. And it's a very valuable business model. It's to say, look, imagine this. I'm a coach. I know that I can teach people how to make money. I know that I can teach people feminine energetics. I know that I can teach people leadership. I can teach people social media. Let me just focus on my coaching career. And when I've made all my millions and I'm done coaching, then when I don't worry about the competition in the coaching industry, I'll become a mentor and I'll help other people do it. That's a more logical way of doing things. But in a world where sky isn't even the limit, I say I'm going to build my greatest competition while I build the most extraordinary coaching business. Because I actually believe in limitlessness, because I believe that I'm a more potent mentor when I'm still walking, because I believe that while I'm still doing this work, I'm a greater calibration portal for all of us. Because you can still see it happening in real time. There's no excuse of like, oh, yeah, but when it was your time. Yeah, but when you were doing it, yeah, but back then it's like, no, now, now this is what I'm thinking now, today, while I'm facing this thing in the world with you, same time as you, while this is going on in the world for both of us, here's how I'm handling it. There's nothing like that on earth. We're offering something to people that's never been offered in the history of the world and we're making it mainstream, we're making it available for people to not feel alone, for people to feel like they can actually do all the their soul wants. And the easier it is for you to keep walking with one part, which is the humility of saying I'm not perfect. And the other part was with the power of saying, and I'm still dreaming. It's like I'm advanced in all these incredible places where I can walk with you and I can lead you in all those places. And I'm imperfect and I'm still facing things every day in my life that are difficult. It's not like I'm at this perfect place. Place. And I'm trying to lead you from an unrelatable place. There are still things I'm working on. There are still huge dreams that I want to make manifest in my life. We're literally on the same path on the same mountain. It's just I'm a few steps ahead and so you get the feeling of knowing it's safe a few steps ahead, the oxygen is still clear and it's safe to walk. It is the most beautiful thing. But for that it is the humility that you are still walking on the mountain. You have not achieved the peak. There is still so much for you to learn and you are still willing to dream. And sometimes we are afraid of that. And it is so funny that this module comes up because I also had this conversation with one of my one on one clients today about us continuing to dream. Because there is pressure at a certain point when people are watching you, where you think, if I'm supposed to be the mentor, I can only ever hit my goals. I can't aim for something and not hit it. What will they think? They'll think you're still playing big. I can't declare I want a big thing and then maybe not hit it. Why? It's what they're going through. Yeah, but I'm the mentor I'm supposed to be. You're supposed to be doing the work at a higher level. Just as afraid, but for different things, just as bold, but at different levels of your business. We don't stop, we don't play for perfection. We lose our angle when we do that. So for me, it's been crazy to continue to dream because I know that being a mentor has pushed me to dream beyond anything at this stage. I'm playing beyond what I have ever thought I could even want more than I want more than I need more than. It's like evolution for evolution itself. It's like what could happen in this lifetime? And can I really model that? There's no limit for me, for you, for us. Like what? What else is available? And from that place of not from needing, it's quite spectacular what starts to happen. The thing is, I know that this conversation is harder at the beginning when people still need. But that's why this conversation isn't for the people who still need. It's a conversation that people who still need can be relaxed into knowing exists. Like there is a time where I will be having a conversation beyond need. And just knowing that feels fabulous. But it's not necessarily time for them to try to make sense of this conversation. Now, if someone had tried to explain these concepts to me when I was sleeping in my car with no food, I very highly doubt I would have been inspired. I would have been like, it's easy for you. You don't need anything. How am I supposed to do that? Same as I was triggered when I learned from Abraham Hicks about the laws of gratitude and gratitude is the way to spiritual ascension. And I'm like, it's easy for you and your cozy little house with your purpose in life and your partner and your stuff to be grateful. I'm sleeping in a car, it's freezing, and I'm hungry, and I'm not grateful for anything. And you suck. It was so hard for me to even believe in those things that are now entirely second nature. So by the time we're having mentorship conversations, we're in a completely different place in our lives and our businesses. That is why it is so important for you to know that your coach hat and your mentor hat, they are not the same. These are two different careers. If you are holding coaching containers, but you also have a high level mastermind in private coaching. You have two careers. A coaching career and a mentoring career. There are two parts of you. You get to love them both, you get to do just one, you get to choose. But ultimately, when you do both, they're like the greatest energetic funnel of all times. Because your mentorship makes your coaching better and your coaching makes your mentorship better. And not to mention, people who coach with you will know if they're a good fit to mentor with you. And the people who mentor with you get the bonus of being coached by you. It works so well together. The coaching and mentoring together is so huge. But we've got to understand, they're two different professions. We market differently, we sell differently. Everything is different from a mentorship perspective as from a coaching perspective. It's two different companies. It's two different things. In one, the client is the leader, the client leads themselves to the mentor and the client asks the questions and the client is the one. And your job as the mentor is to have really strong boundaries and model what your clients dream of. So when my clients want a life of freedom and really strong boundaries and an ability to say no to things because they get all caught up in feeling guilty and they over give and they're exhausted, then I've got a model my days off, I've got a model CEO day and goddess day where I don't come in the chat, I'VE got a model, a life that is exactly what they desire. Or else I'm telling them what to do. But I don't model it. I'm a coach, not a mentor. And you'd get paid a lot more for being a mentor than a coach because the coach doesn't have to play the game like take a golf coach, sports coach. They don't need to be as good as the player. They just need to be able to see what's missing. They can be excellent. But the ones that are like, they've been in the game, they're the most sought after people. Like, imagine having Warren Buffett as your mentor for investing. That's mentor. He's not going to coach you, he's going to mentor you. He's like, here's how I made my billions. It would be so entirely different than a person who's like, hey, I took a few courses on the Internet and it's actually been working for me. So here's what I've learned, which could be also super valuable. And at some level you might think, why would I even do that? Why would I even hire Warren Buffet? I don't think I could even, I don't think I could even assimilate what he's saying yet. I should start with a few coaching programs, even understand the language, and then eventually I'll get the mentorship. And that's what we're looking for in this industry is for people to have the wherewithal to say, hey, I'm just beginning, I don't even understand this language. I need to get mind blown before I can know where to lead myself. I need someone to tell me things I've never heard before. Before I even know what to ask is a question. So being in the coaching industry, first, being offered different perspectives in different ways and picking up what's right for you and what you like in what direction and, and then eventually moving into more of a leadership container where you lead yourself and then full blown mentorship where you're really plugging into, you know, people's minds that you are like, this is the kind of thing I want to have and I want to have conversations and discussions with this person in my life. Then you're in a mentorship position. But as a mentor, you're on the field, you're playing the game. As a mentor, you're all in. As a mentor, you're all, you're afraid daily. As a mentor, you miss some of your goals. As a mentor, you slip up and go through hard things and that's what makes you extraordinary. Because if your life was perfect and all these great things were happening, it would be like, well, it's easy for you. But what makes us extraordinary is that we're still terrified. Our brain still tells us all kinds of crazy things. We still worry about all the things we. We still worry, is it going to be good enough? Are my clients going to be happy? We still worry. We still wonder. We still, oh, my gosh, we have goals. What if I never hit that? Can I really want that? Oh, my gosh, what if we have all of those things still? That's what makes us so powerful. Because how we lead ourselves through that is what makes us extraordinary. We were not special. And then we did something about it. We were special because we did something about it. I really believe human beings have the power to make their dreams come true, but only a select few do. What makes us special is that we do it. We're not special. Before. Everyone has magic in their body, everyone has magic in their soul. But who is going to be brave enough to make that magic come to fruition in their lifetimes? That's what makes us special. So when you wonder, like, why me? Why would anyone choose me? Because you were brave enough to go for what most people in the world will never go for. Because you're actually willing to go for your dreams when most people are still trying to figure out how to get started, you're on the field. You're still playing a game where you're willing to be afraid. There's not a lot of people on the planet that are willing to play with that right now. They wait till they're secure. They wait till they're safe. They wait till they're ready. Meanwhile, you're here juggling fire, taking selfies, and writing posts about the experience on the Internet. And people are like, what? Like, that's what makes you special, is the fact that you eat fear for breakfast and make a post about it in the afternoon and celebrate that your day was fine, even though you were terrified and you're grateful by the end of the day. Like, who are you? You're the one. The one who did it for herself. And that is the greatest thing. And that's the mentorship vibe. Because when I'm with you and you're the one, I'm reminded that I can also be the one. And all I need to do is just do it for me the way you do it for you, my own way. But, like, if I do for me what you're doing for You, I'm going to make it too. And you remind me of that. You've decided you're the one in your life and you make me remember I can be the one in my life. And the more you lead yourself, the more I remember. Because most of the people in the world don't do what they want. They talk about the circumstantial reasons why they can't. They're complaining about the world. They're complaining about all these real, very real things that are happening all over the world. And those things are the reasons their dreams can't come true. And then there's you, who is, who's going through all those same things. But you're eating fear for breakfast, juggling fire, writing posts about it in the afternoon. So that's what makes you special. Never forget that. And in the mentorship world, if you're not working on something and also afraid, that's when you're unrelatable. So keep dreaming bigger. Let your dreamer vibes make you relatable. Make your celebratory vibes the fact that you haven't just desensitized your success so much that people are like, keep celebrating. Keep being so blown away by yourself, by your work. That is relatable. Keep being honest about the fact that you're still a work in progress. That's relatable. Go for your dreams. That's relatable. We're all the same. We're just at different parts on the mountain. And the clearer we are about that, the more we can help each other, the clearer we are about that, the further we go on this mountain. So I have a couple of questions, one from Brianna and then we also have Delphine. So we have a couple of people who are VIPs in this mentor program and they are going to be offering opportunities for beautiful discussions for you to witness and some back and forth, which is awesome. Brianna was my private client for a three month journey that was absolutely amazing. She's also in my channel and so I don't think she can be on camera, but she's going to come in on audio. So Brianna, can we help her unmute herself? And if you feel like you should have been vip, just message the Alpha Femme team about it. All right, let's see where Brianna is at this moment. So many people. How do I unmute her? Maybe Alpha team can help me. She's still here. She maybe jump off.
Hi, Melanie.
Good.
I'm sorry I can't be on screen. I am so sick right now. So it's Like I'm amazed to even be in bed, but I had to be here. So I'm so happy to be here with you.
I am very impressed that you are sick and still being mentored. That just shows all the things, actually. Yeah.
Never going to stop. Never going to stop. The thing that I was really thinking about as I was coming into, like coming into a question with you is that I really am feeling so aligned and ready for my next level of mentorship and to really help visionary leaders become spiritually rooted stewards of wealth. And I yet I still feel some like stickiness in that energy. And I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I'd love help just navigating it because I definitely feel both, like we talked about, you know, in our container together of feeling like that bridge between wealth and spirituality and spirituality and wealth. And that all feels really clear. So I'm not sure why I have any stickiness at all, but I do. And so I was like, melanie will know what to do.
So the first thing I want to do is just share with everybody that's listening. Brianna has an incredible business. She actually has multiple businesses and her coaching business, during our time together hit six figures twice in a row in a month. So she is a six figure a month earner. She has an incredibly beautiful brand. She also has a physical business and so and she's also very in alignment with her spirituality and her connection to the divine. So this question, this mentorship question is not coming from a place of how would I start a business where I help people calibrate to their wealth and their spirituality. This is where this becomes so important to recognize. For everybody listening to this, this question is coming from a person who's already earning six figures a month and is the embodiment of spirituality in her life. And now there's a stickiness. Even though the results are already here. You see the difference in the mentorship, like where my angle comes in right away is like, there is so much respect for what's already been done here. There is nothing wrong, but it doesn't change the fact that there's a feeling inside where there's something sticky. Sticky doesn't mean wrong, but it doesn't mean right. There's something off. What is it? There's something. What is it? That's where mentorship comes a lot. It's like it's. How can you even think there's something wrong? It's not possible. You've got multiple businesses, six figure months. Your brand is amazing. You're renowned for what you do. But, like, there's so much respect that comes in this conversation. So the first thing that comes to mind to ask you is who are you worried about?
Yeah, I think that earlier when you were saying, like, as you grow that there will be. There will end up being some gaps. And I think that that is part of it is that, like, some of those gappy places of feeling like there are people, I really love who that feels. So it does actually feel very unrelatable to them, even if I'm still working on it and still myself. So I think that those people. And also I think part of it is like a worry that I'm going to feel over. I think actually there's a fear of feeling overwhelmed or like, too stretched or something.
So I think the. The beautiful thing about the fear of being overwhelmed is your body and your intuition telling you that this is going to work. When you let go of those fears, like, it's going to explode. So it's actually really serving you right now to keep the people who don't really want you to grow in that direction at the forefront of your mind. Because you know that if you were to let go of this fear, the gates would flood open. And so there's two parts of this. There's the, am I ready for the floodgates to open? And I know exactly what I need to do. But I care about these people and I'm worried about their hearts and their, well, beings and our relationship. And so it's really serving me to put loving them at the forefront of everything because it's a really good reason not to grow. And I can very clearly see that if I move this, the floodgates open. And I'm not even sure I'm ready for that 100%. So there's two parts. The first one is, are you ready for the floodgates to open? But what you do need to remember is you get to close them at any time. The moment you feel like I'm complete, there's too much. I'm closing the floodgate. Like, I can create a wait list at any time. I could say I'm complete. Adding people to the afe. There's no more. I could say that I could stop how many people join the afe? I could stop how many people join unity? I could stop how many people join my private coaching. I could. I could completely close those gates as I desire. Do you recognize that you can do that?
Yes, that I feel comfortable with.
Okay, so if you get to feeling overwhelmed, you're so intuitive. You're so in tune with yourself, you will know when that tsunami is getting near. You'll be like.
Yeah.
So it's trusting yourself there, but also remembering that if this is one of your fears, it's probably a very big one to remember when you're leading your spiritual community to their next level ascension. Because there is an overarching thing in the spiritual community where, like, well being is the number one most important thing, not wealth, not success. Well being. And so I guarantee so many of your clients that are wanting that bridge to be gapped, which is basically what you're wanting to present yourself as. Even more what they're terrified of is the exact thing you're terrified of. And so your leadership in recognizing that you control the floodgate is something you're going to be able to transmit to them as you master it.
Yeah, that's so helpful. And to consider that if. When you know that I will know before I'm out of alignment that me is like the. And that all comes from intuition, which I feel like, yes, as long as I'm. As long as I remember that, I think I'll be good to remember. Like, yes, my intuition will tell me before I'm actually in any imbalance.
Exactly. So the most important thing to keep in the forefront of your mind and to check in with is just like, intuitively, am I good? Am I okay? Am I happy? Do I want to keep going today? Tomorrow, is this good? Am I happy? Do I want to keep going today? And on the day where you're feeling like, slow down, you will. But the fear of the future being too much is forgetting the power we have in the present. So you got to just remember, at any moment you choose, you decide. This is something that you keep choosing every day.
Yeah. And I think that that is the thing that will really help other people feel like they're. They can relate to that and that I can, like, bring those people with me, hopefully, or not, because that might happen too. But that feeling of, like, I'm relating this to you and you can also do this, I think that that is really helpful.
Awesome. And so then the other piece on the other side is the people who actually feel potentially left behind, which is really scary for us, especially when we love our clients with all of our hearts. But I think that the big difference, and this is what we were talking about in the beginning, is the two sides of the equation. And so your desire to continue to grow is the flip side that we've just talked about. And being able to Control the floodgate. But the other side is the fear of other people not feeling related, related to you anymore. And so you get to talk about that. Your imperfection right now is that you feel a duty to lead the world into next level paradigm of spirituality and wealth. And there is a fear of losing the people that you love over this transition. And it's terrifying. And so speaking to them and saying, you know, I feel the calling. I know I've got to do it. I know it. And I'm so afraid of what that's going to mean. For those of you who feel disconnected from the message that's coming through for me, and I want you to know that at any stage, if you feel complete with our work together, I totally get it. And it's been an honor and a privilege to walk this far together. And for those of you who have been feeling that this is the direction where you want to go, I've been doing a lot of inner work in order to be able to lead us all to the next level. And so being transparent about your fears and your desires actually makes you relatable again.
Yeah, that makes so much sense. I think being able to talk about the fears and the desires and also the connection between like, how we do that together. Right. To be able to say, yes, I have fears and desires. And I also recognize that you have these same things because I think that it's a lot of it is like up leveling in my pricing and feeling like that's for a lot of people.
Very hard closer that they're not going to hit their peak and then come back at a new level ascension be like, whoa, I feel like we speak the same language now. I'm ready for another round. Like, that does tend to happen. And the other part that I think is really important during all this is when you're speaking to your clients about your fears, what you're also helping them understand is that this is your journey as well. And so it's not like, oh, I figured everything out, I'm perfect and you can't afford me anymore. It's like I am feeling this pull. I can feel this is where I'm supposed to go. I can intuitively tell this is what I'm supposed to do. And I'm afraid of what this is going to mean. And also there's parts of your work that'll always be available for them. I have clients, a lot of the women that don't continue in private coaching or unity, they'll come into AFE or they'll do something else. That's like, what else can I do with you? This doesn't work, but I don't want to leave your world. So you are going to have masterclasses that they're going to be able to plug into where you help them get back into that power zone if they want it. There's going to be other ways for them to work with you. It just may be at a different capacity, but ultimately, it might be good for them to take a step back if being so close to that fire when you're in the game makes them feel not good. So it's like trusting their intuition. Trusting your intuition and just knowing that as you lead yourself through these fears for you, you're a greater mentor for them, because as you said, they're probably going through the exact same fears which you're not even equipped to help them lead until you've made it through the threshold yourself.
Yeah. That is so perfect. I have so many notes now.
Thank you. It's my pleasure. Thank you for that question. That's awesome. And so this is. I love that we're going to be bringing in some women who already have a lot of success in their businesses for the questions. Because so often when we're hearing questions and programs, we're hearing questions from people who are asking how questions and coaching programs. How do I do this? I don't know what I'm. I don't know what I'm doing. I need someone to tell me what I'm doing as opposed to I'm already succeeding. I know exactly what I'm doing, and I'm terrified. Like, there. It's a discussion. It's a. It's a caring, It's a connection. It's a deepening. It's the. And it's evolutionary work. It's from this already great spot. And this is a conversation I feel I've been having over and over and over again with my clients since the beginning of this year, is to believe, fully believe, that there are people who don't actually need their problems fixed by you. They just want to calibrate with you. They want to fly. There are people right now in this world that are feeling like I just want what I've got. That's good to be great. Can we be in that vibe together? Can we jam on that? Can you help me stay excited? Can you help me stay connected? Can we just play in this field? I want to be grateful. I want to be excited. I want my vibe to be through the roof. I want to be able to trust in the money. I want to be able to trust in my clients. I want to be able to trust in their power. Things are so good. I want to stay on this trajectory. It is good, but I can already feel the greatness. And I can tell that if I. If I focus too much on what could go wrong, I'm not even letting myself dream of what could go right. There are people who just want to walk with you to just keep being at their peak. And so the more you practice staying in your peak, the more you're an energetic match for those kinds of clients and those kinds of conversations. So next person I would love us to bring in. Thank you so much, Brianna, for this beautiful interaction. I love you. The next person is Delphine. Is Delphine here? Alpha team. Are you seeing her? Ah, there you are.
Hello, everyone. Hi.
How are you feeling today?
Very emotional.
Very emotional. Tell me. Yes.
I was about to cry before the call, and just like right now.
Can you tell what the tears are for?
I don't really know specifically. Let me just bring some context to that conversation. I'm French. I have multiple businesses. I have a podcast. I have a real estate business. I have a coaching business. And they both reach 200k for the year and last year with a 250k year. So it's 200 now, just halfway through May.
So collapsing time.
Yes, it is. And. And I'm walking in duality right now because I'm up leveling everything. And at the same time, I've been.
Feeling.
In the waiting room of my.
Own life.
Like, life is tasteless. It doesn't have much flavor right now. And I relate to the stickiness Brianna talked about. Like.
I'm getting there.
I want to go out that waiting room. I really want to. The more I try, the less I go out. There's that stickiness. I don't know what really where that come from. And just wondering how to navigate because I've been in the. In that waiting room for a month now. Part of me says I should be enjoying, and I'm just finding out more money doesn't mean enjoying life. This is just a huge breakthrough for me.
Yes.
I don't know if I can formulate this as a question, but I'm wondering if you can help me navigate that space.
Yes. So can you tell me what being out of the waiting room would even look like? What does it look like?
Enjoying my life.
What would you be doing if you were enjoying your life?
I have no idea.
Well, maybe that's where we need to Start.
Yeah.
So if you don't know, and let me just ask you this. Do you remember dreaming of a six figure year? Do you remember that when you used to think of being a six figure entrepreneur.
Six figure year never really excited me.
What was your first thing that excited you? The amount. Do you remember?
Seven figures.
Seven figures. That's what would inspire you. Do you. Do you remember? Or six figure month or six figure month. That works. Also, do you remember imagining what your life would be like if you were to have a seven figure month when you first or seven figure year? Six figure month when you first started dreaming about that? Do you remember what you imagined your life would look like?
Traveling, Being out all the time. I'm in all the time time. Doing what? I don't know, maybe doing nothing but time, time, time.
So just for fun, let's just ask the ladies in this program, who here imagined that when you would be wealthy, you would have time? Raise your hand if you thought that when I'm going to be wealthy, there's going to be so much time. Right.
I'm actually going to Bali, Charmaine, in 10 days.
Okay. Is this your first trip in a long time?
Yes.
And does it feel like there's so much pressure and things to organize around the trip that you're stressed, or does it actually feel very freeing and everything coming together beautifully?
No. It's one of the first time I'm organizing something. I'm not organizing something. It's not the first time I travel to Asia. Asia is so easy to travel to because there's actually no plan to make. I have no plans.
So if you right now are on the cusp of travel, of being out, can you tell why that's not enough for you to actually let yourself feel the freedom you have right now?
Can you repeat that question?
If you've already got the travel coming, you are going to be going out. Why does it still feel like you're in the waiting room?
Because it's a three weeks something and I'm going to go back to my normal life after that.
How do you know?
I don't.
You've already decided that you're going to learn nothing on this trip?
Oh, no. I have high expectations of things I'm gonna go through during that trip.
Yet you still have expectations that you'll come back to the same life?
Yes.
So the reason things don't change is just because we don't expect them to. We don't plan for them to. We don't expect for them to. So although you have decided this trip will do a lot of things for you. You haven't decided that. It's getting you out of the waiting room. What if in this three weeks, you learn how to navigate your business out and you never need to come back to the way things were when you get back? What if this trip changes your business? Wouldn't that be a good story?
It would.
So what would it take for you to go there saying, what if this is me stepping out of the waiting room without telling myself I'm going to walk right back into it in three weeks? Like, why do I have to plan to walk back in it? Can't I just go and see what it's like to be out of the waiting room?
The pressure comes from me being in the middle of my biggest launch ever. And the pressure, we're filling those spots and I'm already, I'm eight days in, into the last, my final day for registering to that program. It's a 222-22-22 program. It's my biggest price ever. I already have one spot filled, which is awesome. Awesome.
And. And you've decided that you sell more when you're sitting in a waiting room.
I've just. No, I know. I don't. I've just decided that I. I just. I don't know. I haven't found out yet how to not calibrate, not calibrate my value to what I make. And I. It's like this launch is buying my piece, buying my way out of this life, you know? And I know it's not, but something here is pressuring me because I feel that launch is buying my way out of the life I'm in.
So there's a few things. You have your life and everything you know about life, and you're navigating your life based on everything you know, which makes perfect sense. Now we're in a conversation where I know very different things about life based on what's happened to me, based on the decisions I've made, based on the mistakes I've made, based on the miracles that have happened. And so when you bring me your reality, it doesn't sound like reality to me. When you bring me your truth, it doesn't sound like truth to me. So what's magic about this conversation is like, you're already making more than, like, doctors make lawyers, lawyers, like, people who still are still trying to pay their student loans 25 years later, you're making more money. Right. So there's no problem, but there's a greater quality of life. That you've dreamed of. And for some reason you have a belief that you have to be in this waiting room in order for your business to work, that you've got to be at home, you've got to be working, you've got to put your head down and you got to do the things. Because if you didn't believe that, you'd just be traveling and making money from all over the world. But there's a part of you that believes, probably because during the pandemic, that's where you were and that's where you made some of the money, that it works to stay in one spot. Now there's a post I made on my social media and if you're able to go read it again, I highly suggest it. Where I talk about how our kryptonite is not failure, it's success for the right thing in the wrong way. If you succeed at something once, even if the way you succeed is not the way you want to keep doing it, your mind might tell you you can't try any other way because that way works. Whereas where you fail, you'll try a million things. But if you succeed, it's like, oh, I found the one way to succeed. And the one way you found to succeed over the last couple of years is to stay put. So there is a fear that by traveling and giving yourself space to live, your business will go down. But that's not the truth. That's a truth, not the only one. So you could, if you decided, you could say, I've got to be in my house, in my routine with no noise. I need to focus to run my business, I need to do that. And so now I'm taking a three week vacation from my life, but when I get back, it's going to be the same thing again. And I need this launch to go really well so that I can relax while I'm out there. And so now I'm working really hard in this waiting room that I feel I'm trapped in. And the more money I make in this waiting room, the more evidence I'll have that I make money in the waiting room. And so really it's probably best if I don't make all this money in the waiting room and if I actually go to Bali and then make bank in, Bali would be a much better thing for me. So maybe the pressure is my fear that if I don't make money in this waiting room, I'm going to be stressed in Bali instead of the possibility that I've told the universe I don't want to work in a waiting room anymore and that the waiting room is generating less money so that I can go and do something huge in Bali. What if you decided, what if you discovered when you were out there that you actually sell more? When you're out in the world, when you're living your best life, more people buy from you. What would happen?
I know I will. I know that thing. Living my life is key for me and it is key for my business. And I will sell more and know that I feel trapped. I feel trapped in this life. I feel unable to travel because of my boyfriend having that job here, we can't really move. And I know I'm resentful for him. I'm resentful.
I just want to say one thing. Can you guys all feel how the entire conversation just changed? How the energy just changed, how the truth just came out and everything just went like all the heaviness, all the lies, all the mug, all the stuff just left. If you watch the replay of this, you're going to see it happen in your face. It just changed. Everything just changed. So let's talk about the truth. Okay, so now he can't travel as much. You're feeling resentful. What else?
He has a full time job. He can't. He can't work from home. He can't. Not in his job. That's hell of a question. He's been willing to quit his job for wait for years and he won't. And he is taking forever to make decisions when I can make decisions like that. And so I feel resentful for that. And so I feel him being on the, on, on, on my way.
Okay.
I love him so much and is not in my way for. He's very supportive and it's just him not leaving his job. He wants to be an entrepreneur. He's delaying that. Maybe next year. No, no, no. I'm sorry. Because you don't want to make that those decisions. I'm stuck here and that's what I feel.
Okay, first of all, you are so sexy when you're in this energy. Yeah, like this. This is your truth. This like mild annoyance is so much harder than disempowerment. You are fire in this energy. You're allowed to feel this. A lot of people feel this. This is your leadership. This is the thing you're actually walking with. But you feel guilty for walking with it. So you put this whole other story that you're. The whole rest of this conversation is gone. Now we're dealing with the real things. And now here's where your sexiness comes in. Because you are actually a firecracker. You're the kind of person who makes decisions in an instant, who makes more money in a few months than like brain surgeons make in an entire year. Like, you are playing a huge game right now. You love your partner so much. And what's happening is that his, when you first met him, his energy that made you feel like you were so feminine, it's starting to chip away. Because you're providing, you're braver, you're doing the things. And now there's this, like you want him to not only come, but lead. You want to see the man that you know he can be. And he's not doing that. So here's the big kicker. And this is not easy. You've got to travel without him. You've got to be strong enough to travel without him. Because you're making it so easy for him to not leave his job. Because it's like either you stay with him and you're a little bit mad at him and he can handle that. He lived with his mother for 20 years, who has lived with him and was a little bit mad with him. So he can handle your disapproval. He can handle that. He was born into that. He was coded for that. It's his superpower to be mildly disapproved of. So he can handle that. What he can't handle is a super hot woman traveling to another country with her six figure business and her sexy attitude while he's still trying to figure out whether or not he's going that he won't be able to handle. So what's in the way of that for you?
I've done it twice this year, but I think I've done not done it. I've not really been fully into that because I've traveled to Switzerland, which Switzerland, France. Traveled to the Alps, also France. I have not traveled to another continent. I have not traveled far. I've not traveled for more than a week, you know, and that's what excites me. So I've traveled in a way that doesn't excite me. So the result were poor.
Yeah, for sure. Because you're not magic on legs. When you go, you're not like, this is my dream, you're not coming. That's okay. You can do VIP trips with your clients, take a client with you, sell a VIP trip, go wherever you want to go and take a client and have the time of your freaking life and get paid for it. He loves you. He's just scared. He's not as fast as you. He's not as bold as you. But something in. In a. In a man, something has to happen. Where the rubber meets the road. You know what this means? When the rubber meets the road? You're not giving him the opportunity to have that. You're making it so easy for him to just stay scared because you're scared. But when you get brave and you love him, this is not a question of I don't love you anymore. This is a question of I won't be small for you anymore. That's all. So book VIP events with your clients. Go to the countries you've always wanted to go. Go sexy and annoyed and come back sexy and empowered. Be this version of you. And he will come. He will come. But as long as he's just mildly disapproved of with a little bit of pressure, he's just reliving his teenage years all over again. And you will be very disappointed to find out how long that can last.
Thank you so, so much.
It is my pleasure. I am so excited for you and for the clients. We're going to get to travel with you until he takes his place with you, next to you on your travels. And it will happen.
I know.
Good. Ah, your energy. It's so good. I'm telling you, you have fire in you, woman. You have something so strong, and you're just keeping it cozy. Your relationship won't break. It won't. I don't. I really think it won't. I think he will. He will become the greatest man you could ever imagine. But you need to be this. This woman. This one.
No. I'm not afraid of our relationship breaking up. That's okay. I just don't want to, as you said, be less. A lesser version of me while I wait for him to make his own decisions. So I'll be a greater, sexier version of me while he takes his time to make his decision, hoping it will be quicker than I thought it would.
We are either the mother or the muse.
Okay, I'll be the muse now. From now on. Okay.
Yeah. I think it's best for everybody that you be. Because that fire, it's good for the whole world. For you, for him, and for the whole world. And that mothering energy, it's not good for you, it's not good for him, and it's not good for the world. So let's bring magic on legs back. This is going to be fun.
Thank you so much, all of you. All of you, all of your energy. Thank you so much.
Awesome. Oh, my gosh. So now you see the power of mentorship conversations. These are conversations with people who are already so incredibly powerful. We've got to speak to their power, not to their problem. The problem's not a problem. This person's a genius. She wants to be even freer. There's no problem. There's magic. You go find the magic. There's magic in us. So much magic. But we. We have been taught to focus on our problems. Mentorship is not about the problem. It's about the solution. And it is so fun to have these conversations. It is where you just blossom into more constantly. And the incredible thing is, from that place, there is more, even if there is no problem. From that place, there is more. And from that place, there is more. And from that place, there is more. And if there is a problem, then we become greater. And then from that place, there is more. And from that place, there is more evolution and growth over a lifetime. So I want to thank both Brianna and Delphine for these incredible interactions. This was so huge and so fun. Thank you for your leadership. Thank you for your magic. I look forward to our session tomorrow, and there will be more mentorship conversations, even with these ladies again throughout the program. But enjoy, enjoy today. What I would love for you to look at, to mentor yourself is just maybe let's get inspired by Delphin in this. Like, where have you put yourself in a waiting room? And who are you waiting for? Who's it serving that you wait? Same as Brianna putting herself technically in a waiting room of opening the floodgates, because what if I can't control the influx? Or what if I lose people I love? What waiting room have you put yourself in? And who is it serving you to stay there? Who are you protecting by staying in that waiting room? Enjoy this piece for yourself. Have fun. I will see you tomorrow. I love you. You're beautiful. And you smell nice. Bye.
