The Mentor - Day 6

This is a YouTube video titled "The Mentor - Day 6" created on May 21, 2022. The content type and title suggest it is likely part of a series or journal-style video, but no conversational transcript or speaker information is provided to clarify the context or participants.
Sam, I am a business artist and I have people become wildly successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship. Foreign beings of the mentor program. So happy to see you today, Saturday morning, where I am in the world. But I'm seeing people from all over the place, all different time zones. So good to see you. So today we have an interesting conversation, and tomorrow we have a day of. And so you're going to have a day of integration tomorrow, which will be nice. All right. This is actually quite. How am I dressed like this. Sorry. I have important things to do. Important things to do. Today is so exciting because I want to talk to you a little bit about why I believe coaching and mentorship actually work really well hand in hand. And we've talked about how they are different professions, but I want to talk to you about why I think they are really great together. And so what I have noticed is very, very common in the coaching world is to automate and to create programs that people can watch on replays. So out of curiosity, when you're going through a program, who here actually quite enjoys when it's already recorded? And you can press pause whenever you want, like you're watching it, you can press pause, you can rewind. If you heard something that was amazing, you're like, wait, what was that? Let me do that again. Pause. Take time to write notes right now. Sometimes it's also really fun to have a live and it creates some kind of momentum because it's really cool to be in the vibes and there's like, there's the live energy. And sometimes it's really fun to be able to, you know, watch and press, play and pause. So what's good about the coaching side of this business is that it can be automated, it can be prerecorded, it can be reutilized, it can be reused. What I love about the coaching industry is it feels like everything that you're doing is you're building your intellectual property that continues to grow and expand over time. You can play it at hyperspeed, you can play it on YouTube at hyperspeed, but when it comes to mentorship, it tends to be more of a live experience. It requires your time. Now this is where the rubber meets the road when it comes to big money in the mentorship industry is to be able to do a mix, a hybrid model of the coaching and the mentoring. Because the coaching as, although it's incredible, has a limit to how much it's worth. But you can leverage so many people buying the same course. You could literally have 2,000, 3,000 people buy a course from you. But when it comes to mentorship, you can't mentor 3,000 people at the same time because you can't have that individualized attention. You can't be answering their questions. There's a limit to your energetic capacity when it comes to mentorship. Now, in the coaching industry, your capacity is based on your company at a certain point. So if you're a coach and you don't have any support whatsoever, you're a solo entrepreneur, you don't have any assistants, you don't have a team, it's really just you and your coaching and your clients, and that's it. There may come a time where your containers aren't held very well. If people have questions and you have a million questions in your inbox and you can't answer, you're going to tap out energetically, not because there can't be more people in your physical programs, but because the customer service will be an issue. And so there's a moment in the coaching industry where you've got to turn your business into a business where it's not just solo entrepreneurship of you being a coach. You've now leveraged into a business and learning that business model and saying, okay, where do I need employees here? Where do I need support in order to be able to just be the coach and have other people that are managing the customer experience, other people that are managing the inboxes, the payments, the reoccurring payments, the emails. Like, there's so many different moving parts, and the more people you have, the more of those parts there are. Now, if you were to have a business that was solely mentorship, and I have a lot of clients that do this, as a matter of fact, they're more so behind the scenes, not so much on social media. And they have what I like to describe as a boutique business, like a small luxury experience business. And so it's only high ticket, but it's only private mentorship. And so they don't have anything that's automated, but they're in and they don't need a lot of employees. It's all their work. But it's difficult to scale, meaning it's all attached to their energy. And so in mentorship, what you can do is you can do one on one or you can do a mastermind, but apart from that, it's going to be coaching. There's got to be coaching involved because you're speaking to the masses. Like, this is a coaching program about mentorship because there's this many of you in the group and a few people are being mentored in front of everyone. So mentorship is more of a one on one experience or one to few experience. And you can still have an extraordinary business just based on that. Like you could have a mentorship business where it costs six figures a year for clients to work with you, and you could work with 10 clients a year and make a million dollars a year. You can have a million dollar business with only mentorship. You sell $100,000 a year package, something like $10,000 a month for private coaching or 100,000 in full for the year, and that's it. And so if you do that, you have a million dollar business. You don't need to be consistently marketing like crazy. You're not launching, you're not selling all kinds of stuff, you're not constantly pitching. It's like you have this one container and every single thing you do goes towards that. You could also have a Mastermind that has 10 women in it. That's six figures. And then you could also have four or let's say three. If we're looking at my business model, you could have three clients that are paying you $333,000 a year and then that would be another million and you would have three private clients, 10 mastermind clients, and run a $2 million a year business with a small boutique mentorship business. Now these numbers, you're looking at the them maybe, like that's intense. Wouldn't that be nice? I love it. Like, how do you even start by charging $10,000 a month for coaching? Like how do you even start doing that? But here's the thing, I want you to kind of get behind. So this is why I love coupling mentorship with coaching. Because something has to change in your belief in order to be able to call in money like that. Because until something happens, I'm going to explain to you exactly what it is that happens. But until this thing happen, there's an amount that you think is logical for your time. And that amount is based on everything you've ever earned up until now. And that amount is based on what regular salaries are. And that amount is based on all kinds of things, but it's not based on this. And I'll tell you what this is. This is what you're able to earn in your coaching business. And so let's say for example, that I decide to run a thousand dollars program. And in this thousand dollar program, I get 100 participants in it. I scale my coaching business to a Point where there are 100 people in this thousand dollar program and I have it last 10 days. I earn $100,000 in 10 days. So if I earn $100,000 in ten days, why would I work with a private client for less than $100,000 if I can make that in 10 days, why would I work for a whole year for that much? It doesn't even make sense. So there comes a time where you literally say to yourself, wait a minute, why would I even mentor? It doesn't make sense. The money doesn't even make sense. I might as well just coach. If I can make $100,000 per 10 day program, I could do a 10 day program per per month and have $100,000 a month business. And so then if I'm going to do that, if I make $100,000 in 10 days, what is private client? What is a private client exciting for me to charge? And if I'm able to make $100,000 every 10 days and the people that are coming into my world are like, you know how to make $100,000 in 10 days? I would love to learn how to make $100,000 in ten days. How much does it cost to teach someone to make $100,000 in 10 days? And what if they know how to do it over and over and over again? You're teaching someone how to do something that they can now do for the rest of their life. How much is that worth? Well, Maybe it's worth 100,000 for 30 days of coaching to teach you how to do 100,000 in 10 days. Maybe it's worth, you know, 100,000 for three months and you're going to learn how to do something like this. So you've got to figure out in your body, like what is it worth for me to spend one on one time with a person that's going to want coaching and mentorship at this level? I am building my greatest competition. How much does it cost for me to be excited about that? What is this price point? And if someone says, I don't think it's worth that, then that's perfect, don't buy it. But if it isn't worth it for you to spend $100,000 in three months to learn how to make $100,000 in 10 days, then I don't want to be the one to teach you that because I don't know who you think should show you how to do that for not a lot of money. That doesn't really make sense. If I know how to do this. And you want to learn this from me with no one else in the room, just you and I. Melanie, I just want to learn your stuff. Can you just show me how you think, how you feel, how you look at things, and exactly how you do the things that you do? Please. And please charge me not a lot because I want to learn how to make a lot of money, but I definitely don't want to pay you a lot to learn it. Then I think I'm going to keep my information for myself because that doesn't feel very fun for me. But what does feel fun is like, this is awesome. You tell me what you feel happy to receive for us to work on this together, and I'm in. That's how mentorship is supposed to work. This is how. This is what feels good for me. If you want to learn, if you want to be in the energy, if you want to learn the mindset, the thoughts, the systems, the ways, if you want to learn that, this is what it costs and if you don't like it, I have no problem with that. If that's too much, zero stress, zero problem. Because I literally make $100,000 every 10 days selling thousand dollar programs to 100 people at a time. And they are over the moon with what I'm doing now. What is it that helps make sense for people to chart, like to pay you? Whatever it is that they pay you is that you have a business model that works. If you don't have a business model that works, it's difficult for the mentorship to receive business mentorship for a business model that doesn't work. Like, what are you a mentor of if you don't have anything to mentor? If I'm mentoring you in, let's say someone has manifested a string of extraordinarily handsome, powerful, attractive human beings that are wealthy and extraordinary and they all want to marry her. And she's cracked the code of like the greatest human beings on earth wanting to marry you. And you're single and you're ready for dating and you're like, and you. And you're making tons of money. Money's not the problem. You're just ready for the right suitor for you. You're like done with the online dating thing. You're done. And this person has a track record for finding the most extraordinary human beings that are spiritually connected, kind, good looking, rich, and they're like, I will mentor you. You will have so many people that are a good match for you. It'll be hard for you to choose, but it costs $100,000 a year. Or you can spend $1,000 on my 10 day program and there are people who will spend $10,000 on a 10 day program and there are people that will say, I don't want to spend $10,000 on a 10 day program. I have all the money in the world. I really don't feel like being in a room with tons of other people with their questions. I have my own questions. I you privately. How much does that cost? Cost $100,000. Okay. Because it's worth it to me. The thing with mentorship is it can't be sold, it's just bought. The thing with the currency and the frequency of mentorship is you can't sell it. They can buy it though. It's the kind of thing where if it's available, the person who's meant to buy it will buy it. They'll show up, they'll say, I desire to buy this, please. And you will say, here's the price. And they'll say done. They will seek you out, they will find you and they will try to buy the thing that you're not even selling. That's mentorship coaching. You've got to learn how to sell. It's two different things. But the more in the mentorship energy you become, the more most people buy from you in mentorship energy, even when it's your coaching stuff. And you're going to see a pivot and a shift in the way you're able to sell, where it's like your work speaks for itself and eventually it gets to a point where the selling is actually just the funnest thing in the whole world because all you're doing is creating the buyer's dream. You're literally creating a space where people are self led in your world and they're just seeking you out and buying from you. You will not need to market your private one on one stuff. That's mentorship. You will not need to market your mastermind. That's your mentorship stuff. It will not be necessary. People will be seeking you out because of who you are, not because of what you do. Now there's a reason I don't like to sell my hypermind or Unity or my private coaching. And the reason I don't like to sell it is because if someone buys it because I sold it, they bought it because of something I said. And if ever I want to change that thing that I said, I'm in trouble. I don't want people to buy the containers that are mentorship containers because of what I do in them. I want people to buy them because of who I am in them, because that will only ever get better. Who I am will always get better. But what if down the line, over the next year or so, I decide I need a second CEO day? This is already almost going to have to happen soon. Like, I had a CEO day a couple of weeks ago, and I was like, this is not reasonable. I had to try to fit an entire life in one day. I was like, this is. We're running out of hours. I don't think one CEO day is going to be enough. I may need to have another one. So let's say I have a container, and people are like, okay, so tell me exactly what I have. It's like, you get to talk to Melanie every week, and you also have boxer, and she's going to be in there, and you're going to get to talk to her all the time, except for Tuesdays and Saturday and Sunday. And then I decide that I need to be off on Thursdays as well for CEO time for my business. And a client that's hired me is like, no, you can't have another CEO day for your business. I need you to answer me on Thursdays. That's what you said you would do when I paid you. I need you to answer me on Thursdays. That doesn't work. In mentorship. I'm. What I want to do is I want to show you how to grow your business. I want to show you how to have freedom and how to create a business that transcends time, how to be a CEO and also a mentor and also a coach and all of these things. So if I do that for you, and I am not leading my business, I'm coaching you, not mentoring you. And we are at a mentor level. And so if there comes a day where I need Thursdays as well, I need Thursdays as well. And who I am hasn't gotten less. Who I am has gotten more. Because every single thing I do more in that second CEO day are things you can ask me about. But if I squish my business, keep it small, keep it tight and overwhelming so that you get answers on a Thursday, that is not mentorship, but it is coaching. And in the coaching world, we do all kinds of things out of fear that our clients are going to quit. I can't take another day off. They are going to think I don't work enough in the mentorship world. That's not how it works. Can you imagine this setup? Imagine this setup. You get to a point in your career where when you launch a program, a 10 day program for $1,000, 100 people buy it and you make $100,000 a month purely on one hour a day for 10 days. And you've got three private clients, and those three private clients, they pay you $25,000 a month. And you also have a mastermind, and in that mastermind, they pay you $10,000 a month. And you also have a membership where people could buy all of your programs for a year, and they spend $1,000 a month to be in that membership, and you have 100 people in there. And so you're making $1 million a year off your program, $1 million a year off your membership, $1 million a year from your mastermind, and, you know, $2 to $4 million a year off your private coaching. You got a $6 million business, you're working one hour a day for the program, you've got three or four private coaching an hour or two or three a week with your private coaching clients. An hour, two or three in your mastermind, you're working 10 to 12 hours a week and you're making $6 million a year. That sounds good. That sounds good. And then, okay, now you have time to market and you have time to have fun. You have time to live your best life and you have time to go and make stories and actually have something to talk about in your life. You actually have time for CEO days, for business meetings. You have opportunities to go sit with people. You get that. I have time to squeeze my notary appointment in instead of having to reschedule till next week because they only have one CEO day. It's like, I have time to go sit with a notary because I have two to three notary appointments a week. I have time to go sit with new employees that I'm trying to bring on. I have time to have a conversation with the woman who cleans my house, and I want to be able to make sure that I'm good and she's good and we can have a conversation and I have dinners at night and I have people over and I get to be part of these wonderful clubs and things in my area that connect me with amazing entrepreneurs. And I get to go to social events and my whole business works. I can teach people networking, I can teach people business growth. I get to sit down in front of my tech people so we can expand the brand and the technologies of the brand. I can show up on the meetings with the notary and the tax people and Deloitte. There's so many meetings when you start hitting millions and multi millions, people want to talk to you. They need to know things, they need signatures if you don't have time for that and be very stressed. So there comes a time in the beginning where there's a lot of work, because most of the work is coming from trying to get the business. This is the beginning in the coaching, the coaching part, when you're like, let me get the credibility in. I've got to make all these posts on social media, I've got to show up, people have got to recognize me, I've got to do the work, I've got to sell things, got. I've got to do tons of Facebook lives or this or that. You're. You got a lot of work to do. And eventually when you hit this mentorship status, which comes with time, it comes with alignment, but when it hits, there's a lot of magnetic energy that starts to come in and it's about quality of the experience. And so as easy as people can love, they can be completely turned off by your brand. And this is where it's all quality over quantity of work that matters. It's not how much you work, but it's how great the people's experience is with you. If they have a bad experience, never coming back. That's the thing with mentorship. But if they have a good experience, they're going to talk about it. The clients that come in at mentorship tend to walk with you for a very long time when they're ready for mentorship. If they're still in the coaching phase, they may need to try a bunch of coaches before they commit to one. But once a person is an energetic match for a mentor, usually there's a lot of longevity there. And so it's also really great for your nervous system once you tap into that mentor energy because you're not constantly trying to sell you trust in your brand. Your brand sells itself. Everything you do from a place of alignment is making you wealthier, stronger, wiser, deeper. Everything you talk about gets better and better. People are an energetic match, they're drawn to you. And everything you do, like, you literally have a conversation about the fact that you had a meeting with a notary and people want to work with you. You have a conversation about the fact that you just paid your taxes in full and people want to want to work with you. You have a conversation about something you've done and people are like, I Want that this is the person for me in the way that you are, in the way that you talk, in the way that you act. So there's a journey and there's an evolution. But if you can keep in mind that the mentorship is coming, that you are going to tap into that eventually it changes the way you look at your business. You're saying, let me build this body of work in the coaching industry so that I always have something that I can sell and that I can offer and that I can attract people who are in the mood for a mentor but just want to test it out first. Like you're allowed to be ready for a Porsche and still want to go test drive it first. And so people may still be ready for mentorship and say, well, let me see how I feel in her presence. Let me do one of her programs first. They won't necessarily need a phone call or a sales call. They won't necessarily need to ask you a million questions, but they will want to see how it feels to be in your energy for a few days. So you're going to have people doing your coaching programs to be in your world to see what you're like. And then after that, what's your, what's your mastermind like? What's your private stuff like? They will just ask. And if you have the right team of great people, you won't have to answer a million questions. The right people will end up in your world. All you'll have to do is look at the application forms and follow your, your intuition, your sacral authority, your emotional authority, your spleenic authority, whatever it is that you, however you process information, like for me, I will read an application and with every question I just feel into it. Uh huh. I just know at the end of the application it's like oh yeah. Or it's like not yet. And I feel it and it's so easy and it's so simple. It took me a moment to get here and I had to trust my intuition a million times before I could have a business that was run on intuition. Because God, Mother Nature, the universe doesn't give you a business run on intuition. Intuition before you've proven that you listen to it so many times. In my beginnings I went against my intuition and so of course I had a logical based business. There was no way I wasn't listening to the intuition. But once I started listening to the intuition and the downloads and the channeling, I started to surrender. I really just gave up the ego part and I was like, I'M a channel. I'm a channel. I don't know where these voices are coming from, but I'm listening to them. I am grateful beyond belief. This is for me, for you, for us. Like, I'm in, like, let's go. This surrender, this trust changed everything. And I would say for those of you who are asking me, like, when did, when did the shift occur? It occurred in 2020. In the summer of 2020, I shifted from a coach to a mentor and I had my first million dollar month in September. There was this moment of like, I cannot do this. Whatever it is that I'm doing to please my clients has to stop now. It has to be. It can't be that the clients lead in the sense where it's their fears, their discomfort that I'm trying to protect. It's got to be what I know is the next move, even if it means everyone jumps ship. It needs to be that I do what I know is right for the evolution of my business. Even if everyone that's in my business right now decides that that doesn't work for them anymore and they leave. It was terrifying and it did have a big impact on my business. But then everything recalibrated and everything got stronger and stronger and stronger. And so the mentorship part is the one part where you realize you're the leader. You've got to make the mistakes, prepare yourself for mistakes, prepare yourself for learning lessons, prepare yourself for next level leadership. You're the mentor. The coach is like, let me just listen to what my clients need and help them and fix it and all the fixing for the clients. That's a lot how private coaching ends up being. It's like, I just, I'm a service provider. In the end, coaches end up feeling like service providers. But mentors are far more than service providers. They're calibration portals. It's like, I work so aligned in my life. I'm not going to spend my hours with a person who's out of alignment. That makes me feel like I'm dragging my soul on the floor. And that doesn't mean people who are having a difficult time or something like that, like, we help our people. That's not it. But a person that's out of alignment, out of integrity, a person that's constantly demanding, wanting more, pushing your boundaries, you know, that just doesn't even make it, that doesn't make it in mentorship because you work so hard on your alignment. It doesn't make any sense for you to anchor into a person that's going to change your alignment. And so it's more like, I am so sure about my power that I only bring people I can walk shoulder to shoulder with, because together we rise, as opposed to what a lot of the coaching mindset is, is if I can help you, then we'll do it. Mentorship is beyond that. I know I can help you, but will it help me to help you? Is it for me, for you, for us? Or is it possible that I may take you on as a client and actually hurt myself in the process? Is it possible that I might take you on as a client? It will cost me my quality of life, my wellbeing, my hours, my time, my joy. I have had conversations with clients when I was a coach, that made my whole day gray. The heaviness, it was so much. But I knew that I was committed to this client. I honored my word. My word was law. I knew I could help them, and that was it. But that's not the same reason I bring in clients in my world now, the reason I work with clients now is because it's good for me and for them. Every conversation I hang up, I'm like, oh, my gosh, I needed that, even for me. Like, these conversations bring me back to why this matters. It's deep, it's true, it's real. These women have huge purposes. They're holding a lot. They're stressed sometimes, and they're worried sometimes, but they're in the right place. They have hearts of gold. And I feel that. And I'm like, I feel it. We're going places. Every conversation I have with you makes me a better person. That's a mentor conversation. And this is why a lot of times, you'll even see mentors are willing to mentor for free. They will find a protege that they know they can pass the baton to, and they will literally do it for free. At a certain time in their lives, they'll take on a protege for free and say, let me give you everything I've got, because this is good for me, for you, for us now, while we're in the game. And this is why it's different for us. And we talked about this at the beginning of the program is the career of being a mentor. So paid mentorship is different because I'm not passing the baton. I'm still doing the work. I'm actually creating my greatest competition while I'm doing it. This is the thing that's the most important. And so this is something that I want you to have some discernment and personal responsibility here, because this program might be too far ahead for you right now. And there is nothing wrong with that. If you are just glad to have it, close it. Know that it is yours and your vault of life. And just know that one day, when you're ready, you can open it back up and watch it, and it will be right there for you. If you're watching this program and it's making you feel bad in any way, close it. If you can listen to it and watch it and feel inspired by it, like, what if detached from it, detached from the timeline, and like, whoa, this exists. Just let it plant a seed in your soul. Don't try to create this. Don't try to do this. This is lifetime access. So if you are feeling like this is not the time to watch it, please close it. Because this is one thing about this program that I was telling the ladies in my Unity yesterday. This is what I said to them. I said, I hope I wish for you to do what I'm doing in the mentor right now. In all of the programs I do, I always hold a lot of people, a lot of different times, a lot of different timelines. The beginner, the person who's getting started, the one who's doing really well right now, the one who's on a role, the one who's on fire. Like, I'm holding context for so many different people, and I'm going. And I'm ebbing and flowing through the teachings on how it applies in all phases of business. I'm not doing that in the mentor. I'm speaking at my current level of mastery to people who are really ready for this level of conversation right now. And I'm trusting that the ones that aren't ready for it right now but have access to it will watch it when they're ready for it instead of. Instead of changing the program. So if Coach was more aligned, dive into Coach and have the time of your life in that one. And just know this one's available when your mind is ready. If you're going to sit in this one, sit in this one with, like, you're a fly on the wall in a conversation that's real and it exists in the world, whether it's an energetic match for you yet or not. But not trying to make this happen, because this is another thing with mentorship. And we will talk about this before the end. Mentorship and manifestation go hand in hand. There is, like, masculine, feminine energetics when it comes to manifestation. And so manifestation is like the actualization of A thing. And so the masculine energetics of manifestation are like, you do the thing and it works. That is a physical manifestation. It's just created in a little bit more of masculine energy because you had to do a lot of the things in order for the manifestation to occur. And so a lot of the times in your business, it's manifestation. You're still manifesting clients as a coach, even though you manifested it through your marketing, through your advertising, through your post, through your Facebook lives, through your masterclasses, through all the things you're still manifesting. But there's another level of manifestation, and that's through energetics, which means that it's very much less about what you do and it's more so about an energetic match, period. Like, for some reason, somehow you're just a match for this, this, and there's very little you need to do. It was pineapple season. Everything's just growing. And that's where mentorship lies. So we do need to be able to be out of the mind and into the surrender when it comes to mentorship, because there's no logic to it. The other morning, I had a message from one of my clients, and she was like, when you have a moment, I want to talk to you. I've got something I want to share with you. And I was like, okay, perfect. She's just been working with me for three months. I'm like, and I'll let you know. I've got some stuff this afternoon. I'll let you know. Six o'. Clock. The six o' clock work. And she was like, yeah, six o' clock is perfect. And I'm like, okay. And so six o' clock comes around and I'm like, what's up? And she's like, I just paid you in full for a whole other year of private coaching. We're three months into our first year. She's just paid in full for the first year. I did not expect any of that at all. None of it. None. Absolutely none. There was no. Not one. If you would have told me someone's going to pay you in full for private coaching today. Make a list of the thousand people that you think it could be that are going to pay you for this. She probably wouldn't have even made the list because it wouldn't have made sense. Right? Who pays for their next year of coaching three months into the first year? Cassie. And so I'm like, okay, okay. Well, there you go then. So you're going to have times in your life where it's just like, okay, that was not expected. That's a lot of that is mentorship. And so you've got to be able to trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust and trust. And it's so funny because the first time that Cassie ever reached out to me, she asked me how much my private coaching was. It was $10,000 at a time at that time. And she couldn't do it. She was like, I'll be back. I think at that time she did Exponential wealth instead. I think she may have registered for the afe. And then eventually Unity then started hitting six figure months in Unity. And then it was like, okay, I think I'm going to put myself on your waitlist for private coaching for three months. And then one day it was like, I'm going to. Before we even started, she was like, I want to do a year with you. And she paid the balance. And then on month three, she paid for the whole thing. This is evolution and growth. Same thing with Steph at the beginning of this year, who was like, so obviously I'm doing another year. Can I have a pay in full link? And like, we've been working together 2018, 19, 2021. And then she asked for another link in 2022, and her first time she ever worked with me, she paid $6,000 for three months. That's what it used to cost for my private coaching. And she wanted to learn how to make $1,000 a month at that time. Now she pays 333,000 in full. Boop. And she still has millions in the bank. Like, how does that happen? If you would have told me a few years ago that that same girl that had to have a conversation with her partner about a $6,000 investment would be sending me $333,000 after years and years and years of working together, I'd been like, impossible. How do I do that? How does she do that? How do we become that? Well, we just do. That's how we go. Same thing with Amy. Been working with Amy since 2019. And every three months, like clockwork, she signs up again and her business is booming. She just bought a million dollar house. She's having time for a life. It's like, how did. How do these things happen? How do you know a person's going to be in your life for so long? You don't. How do you know which one is going to be the one that's going to just pop? You don't. How do you know who's going to decide they're coming in, they're staying forever. You don't. How do you know the person who you've never even talked to and all of a sudden you get this application and the application is like, oh my gosh, who is this person? How this is the greatest person. How have I never known this person? The person like, oh, I've been watching you on social media for three years. What? Yep. And watching you for three years. I'm finally ready. I'd like to apply for one on one coaching. And every single thing on the application is like, huh, huh, huh, huh. Yes, please. So you're going to have moments that you don't understand. And this is the thing with mentorship. And I say this to my clients all the time. When it comes to manifestation and mentorship, you're going to wonder how to do it till you wonder how you did it. You're going to go to explain exactly how and all you'll be left with is energetics. All you'll be left with is whoa. I guess when that difficult thing came and I responded like that makes sense that I manifested this whoa. I guess when that thing happened and then I dealt with it this way and that person found me through that. There are people who found me on the back end of one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. Last year I was featured in a newspaper and they made fun of me for buying a house and being a coach and all the things. And I went live and very emotional and talked about how done I am with the fact that we don't celebrate successful women in Quebec. And I got so many new people follow me from that moment. Amazing people, like out of this world people. And I know because I could have very easily gone live and bashed that newspaper, talked so badly about those girls. I could have come in in my own self righteousness because I would have had every right to be ugly in that moment, to just be mad, to tell everyone what I thought about everyone. But instead I really just shared my real sadness and what I saw for the world and what I wanted for the world and what it's like in our world. And the most incredible people came from that in a moment where I feared for my career actually, because I was like, people, if people see me about this for the first time, they're going to have such an opinion of me. I was like, yeah, well, if they see you like this for the first time, they'll have an opinion of you as well. Tell the truth, how do you feel? And so in your worst moments, when you do your best, miracles happen. It's so easy in life, so, so, so easy in life to just go with the flow and think, oh, because, because it looks hard, it's going to be hard. Because it's not going well. It's not going to go well. Someone ruined it for me. Someone messed it up. Someone broke it, Someone else messed it up for me. And I am so allowed to be mad and I am so allowed to be ugly because they did it. They wrecked it. They did it. They messed it up. Mentors don't do that. It's all about how you respond to life as the mentor, in every moment. Because a story that you don't want to share because you're embarrassed is a missed opportunity for growth for you, for your clients, and for the world. And so in every moment that occurs to you, if you actually bear in mind that this gets to be a story you share, if you live it right. How do I want to tell this story? In hindsight, this is terrible. But if I handle this poorly, I'll probably never want to talk about it. This is a missed opportunity. If it's going to hurt, it might as well change my life. If it's going to embarrass me, it might as well change my life. If I'm going to go through, it might as well change my life. Because if not, then it was just pain. Just pain, suffering, a mistake and a regret. What's the point of that? So everything you do, you say to yourself, this could be the seed for a great thing. It just depends who I am in the face of this difficult thing. If I respond to it like it was a bad thing, it will turn into it. If I respond to it like it's a good thing, it will turn into it. And so it's our power. And it's all about manifestation. This is a really good one. If you have never watched the prosperity codes, the decrypting the receiving sequence, the first one, it makes me laugh. The Q and A is even better than the in the actual thing, it's like a two hour Q& A and it's hilarious. I love that prosperity code. It's probably my favorite one of all of them. But manifestation, in order to manifest accurately, sometimes we've got to make sure we don't enter the energetic poop storm, which is how I, I explain it. Inside of that masterclass, inside of that master code, it's like a lot of us get so caught up in what's not going well that we Create a storm and then we're mad at the storm. Instead of attracting something not good, turning it into gold and celebrating the gold, we take it, we turn it into the storm, and we're mad at the storm and we forget our power in those moments. Mentorship is all about your power in those moments. Whether you turn something into gold or whether you tone it, turn it into an energetic poop storm, that is entirely up to you. The circumstances, the circumstance. But your power defines what it turns into. And that's the thing for me with mentorship is like I turn it into something beautiful no matter what it is, even if it's sad, it'll be a beautiful sadness in the end. There's going to be something that will come out of it eventually. And how do I get myself there? Because how do I want to tell the story? In hindsight, it matters how I respond now, how I react now, it impacts how I tell the story forever. This is momentary, this moment, but the story lasts forever. So what's my response? Whatever anyone did to me is only half the story. And I can tell that story with pride if I'm proud of what I did. But if something did something to me in that moment of self righteousness compromises my energetic signature, I'm just, I do what I think I'm allowed to do and I just mess it all up. And I feel ashamed and guilty in that story. Never sees the light of day. And that's a blind spot for me forever. A missed opportunity for me, for you, for us. So everything that happens for you, it's like life is, if this is happening for me now, what a lot of times in life people will say, like, everything happens for a reason. And I think that in the way that that statement is structured, we tend to want to ask, well, then why did it happen? Why did this happen? If everything happened for a reason, then what's the reason? Why did it happen? What's the reason then? And we drive ourselves bananas trying to figure out what why before, before we've even done anything about it. And so I've changed that question for myself. I've asked myself, if this happened for me, then what should I do about it? If this thing happened for me, then what's my response to it? Because I'm going to shape the outcome then instead of all this happened for me, why? You don't know that. But if it happened for me now, what that means it's my turn. It's like I'm playing a chess game with the universe and the universe Just played what's my move? Even if it looks like a potential checkmate, what's the move? What's my move? When my queen's been taken, what's my move? If it. If the universe took my queen for me, then now what? If it was for me, there's got to be one good move. If it was played in my favor, if I trust the universe always plays in my favor, that God always plays in my favor, then no matter what the move was, there's got to be something that I can play in response to that move that works for me in the long run. What is it? And it's that wisdom and that discernment and that moment of thought instead of just reacting and going, making a decision that shapes us. So many people are just like, something happens, you react. Action, reaction, action, reaction, action, reaction. No wisdom, no breath, no consciousness, no awareness, no responsibility, no. Just action, reaction, action, reaction, action, reaction. And then it's not my fault. Like. Like a young child or a teenager. It's not my fault. She said that? Of course it's your fault. What do you mean she said that? And then you said this. That's the thing I'm talking to you about, the thing you said. Yeah, but it's not my fault that I said that. I only said that because they said that. So you have no personal power. We've been taught that if the thing that happened to us is bad enough, the response doesn't count. That's something we need to move away from. With mentorship, no matter what happens, the response counts more. The more difficult the thing, the more important the response. And so taking a moment, how do I want to remember this moment in hindsight? If one day, 40 years from now, I'm telling the story on a stage, am I going to be proud of what I'm about to do next? And we're not going to be perfect? I still cringe whenever I tell the story about Googling how to make your ex boyfriend cry. I'm like, you're not gonna be perfect. But I don't have a lot of those stories, not in my last few years. There was a moment where everything changed, and then those stories stopped happening because my responses to things were just powerful because I took a beat. And so you want your coaching business to be where you package your wisdom and your mentorship business to be where the wisdom is built, where the wisdom is created. And so at first, in your coaching business, what's going to happen is going to be other people's wisdom, and you have to work aligned in order to make it your own. That will be your job. But the wiser you become and the more discernment you have when life is happening for you, you're actually going to learn your lessons by yourself. You're going to start channeling your own magic, you're going to start creating your own concepts, you're going to start having your own realizations and your own stories, and then you're going to move into mentorship. Then you're going to start seeing it. It's an energetic match. People just want to work with you because they do. People just want to work with you because they can't explain it. It's just. It's you. And that's the mentorship part. But at first, you're going to create your body of work. And so for those of you who are in the mentor right now, you do have coach also. And coach helps you create your body of work. If you were in Impact Academy, we talked about intellectual property and goop, and we talked about, you know, the opportunities to work with you through the windows and doors, but more and more goop. The GOOP creates you into the mentor. The intellectual property creates the coaching business that you can prepackage. If there is a day, one day, that I want to take time off and have maternity leave, I am going to be very grateful that I have a lot of packaged stuff that I can continue to lead with and scale back the mentorship a little bit and say, maybe I only work a few days a week or a few hours a day, or maybe I reorganize the way I do things so that it just works with how I'm feeling. But the coaching is always there. There's always an anchor, there's something permanent. There's intellectual property that I've built over time, and my mentorship will just become better and deeper. Can you imagine once I have all the wisdom that comes with motherhood, can you imagine when I start learning the wisdom that comes with that? What kind of teachings will come through me as a mentor? They'll be extraordina extraordinary. But for that, I'll need to have space to be at this, you know, to be able to hold everything that I'm holding and be an extraordinary mom and come and come to this space with, you know, all my teachings and my learnings, like, and be an incredible mentor. There's going to need to be space because now there's Goddess time and there's CEO time, there's going to need to be mother time. And I don't do anything half. I give everything I do everything I've got. And what I realize is it's not time that creates in everything, it's your energy. And so I will give my coaching business everything I've got and I will give my mentorship everything I've got and I will give my relationship everything I've got and I will give being a mom everything I've got. But I will have to restructure my time. And in order to restructure my time, I'm going to have to be in alignment with people who understand mentorship because the coaching won't be a problem. It'll be so easy. I've got so many incredible modules. I'll be able to do programs that are hybrids where you've got so many incredible modules that are on replay and then Q&As. I'll be able to be so hands on with Q&As and new modules of things that I discover. My programs will get refined over the years. It'll be amazing. I can create time and space that way. But if my mentorship isn't in check, it's going to dwindle. And so it's keeping the mentorship high, the coaching high, the standards high, and that's the gateway. So I feel like mentorship and coaching go hand in hand in the most extraordinary way. This is the greatest combination. To teach and to live the embodiment of your teaching. There is no greater thing. So we have Delphine today that's going to come up for just a little bit. She's going to be our one person today that's going to have a little bit of mentorship. So, Delphine, are you available here still? Hi, Melanie. Hello. How are you? I am so good. How you feeling? Feeling great. Are you guys hearing her a little choppy or is it just me? Do you feel it would be better? Are you in a bad WI fi zone? Because there's nothing to worry about. In the worst case, if we can't get a stable connection, I'll bring you in first thing on Monday. Do you think that would be better? Yeah, we're having hard times with the connection. If Alpha team could just message her and ask her what I just said, that would be great because I don't, I don't want her to have a less than fabulous experience. And I'm actually having. I'm going to actually pull you all guys up. I want to tell you something. I am having the time of my life and the this program and as it is Unfolding, I'm realizing there's, like, more pouring out. So this sometimes happens to me, and it's my favorite thing when it happens, and I really feel like I'm on a roll. Like, I asked Emmanuel before I came on today, and I was like, what day are we on? And she said, today's going to be day six. So we've done five days. This is day six. I'm like, oh, no. I have a feeling that there's going to be more to this program. So I just want you, like, let's just set the intention that this, this continues to go and to unravel in the most powerful ways, because I just have a feeling that there's a direction this is going that's even bigger than I thought. And I love when that happens. That's my favorite thing. And I also, I want to give you a lot of empowerment in this moment. In your own businesses, you're going to have moments where you've got everything planned and it changes. As long as it changes for more, everyone will be happy. Never be afraid of change. I have embraced, changed every step of the way of my business, and everything has grown a million times more than I ever would have thought. But it is because I always believe in more. Change is more. I would never change for less. It will change for more. It will change for better. It will change for deeper, stronger. It will always change for more. And so I have no problem. I have no stress about dolphins, choppy connection today. None at all. We're going to have the tomorrow to relax, take a day, anchor in. What I would love for you to be able to look at for yourself is like. If something occurs in your life, big or small, between now and our next session, see if you can embody the energy of a mentor in it. Like, imagine if this moment for me was being. Who here has ever watched the Truman Show? Have you ever watched that movie? The guy, his whole life is on a TV show and he doesn't know. When I found out that was a thing when I was a kid, I was so sure that my life was that. I remember being at breakfast and my brother being mean to me and me holding it all together. Like, if this is on tv, people will see that he's the mean one. I'm staying calm. Like, it got me in my head. So what if you lived your life like, what if. What if this moment, you know, I don't want you to be paranoid and live your whole life like people are watching, but just this one moment, like, what if I lived this like it was a mentor reality show. You know, okay, prank universe sends me a prank. The whole world's watching. How do I mentor myself through this and come tell us the story? Even if it's a silly little thing, like, how did that level of intentionality change the outcome of the situation? If this was like a mentor reality show and you've been punked with this life event and the whole world's watching, like, okay, mentor. Mentor your way out of this one. And you'll be like, okay, challenge accepted. And you try it on just one thing between now and the next thing. And share with us in the group. I'd love to know. And keep it lighthearted. Just have a good time with it. Have fun. Thank you so much for being here. You're fabulous. You're beautiful. I'm so, so grateful, and I look forward to seeing you again on Monday. I will see you, Sam. I am a business artist, and I help people become wildly successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurs. I am a business artist, and I have people become successful at their own craft. We are revolutionizing entrepreneurship.
