Hello friends and welcome back to an episode of Hannah Talks About Things. It has been so long since we've been here. Um, a lot of updates. I'm in a new location. Me and my now husband moved to Asheville, North Carolina. Let's see what else. Rose Wellness, which is the private practice that I founded in Maryland, now has 20 3, I think, therapists. I transitioned out of seeing clients and I'm more in an administrative role now, so I provide clinical supervision to the therapists here and manage day-to-day operations. What else? Ralph is here, he's still kicking. Um, I went on Survivor, as some of you may know. That's my torch. And made the incredibly controversial decision to quit after 3 days in the game. Um, I'm definitely planning on talking about that more. I've talked about it on some podcasts, and I wrote an article called The Art of Quitting for Johns Hopkins Magazine. Um, and yeah, that was absolutely a whirlwind. I've been almost completely off social media except for some brief stints. But if you watch How to Break Up with Your Phone, which is a video on this channel, you'll know how I feel about social media and phone addiction. Anyway, it is now— what's today? August 15th, 2024. As you know if you're watching this video. And I'm super excited to say that we are back! We are back! I'm excited to make YouTube videos and I'm actually going to be collaborating with some of the therapists here at Rose Wellness so that I can showcase their wisdom and insight and talent and also give them an opportunity to talk about some of the things that they are most passionate about. My friend and supervisee Sarah and I have been making a list of topics that we both really want to talk about, either Sarah specifically or me or both of us together. Together. And I'm just looking at the list right now and I'm super excited about it. But I just wanted to say we're back. I'm gonna be doing more videos. If there's any topic that you are interested in learning about, reading about, watching about— I guess not reading about because I'm not writing, but I am going to talk, uh, listening to— please feel free to comment. Um, you know, if you are in Maryland and you're looking for therapy, we do have 10 therapists who currently have varying availability, and they are in network with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, which is a subsidiary of Anthem, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Medicaid, Johns Hopkins EHP. And we're working on getting a network with TRICARE so we can give some, you know, support services and counseling to veterans because it's so needed. So yeah, that's my update. Super excited. Um, I might actually put out a video soon just talking about one of the things I'm really excited about. Of course, we're going to be talking about shame, relationships, our internal wounds, uh, vulnerability, codependence, right? Being codependent, what that looks like and how to break through some of those barriers. Oh my God, there are so many! There are just so many! I'm so excited! Anyway, I'm really excited to be back and I'm excited by this and you'll be hearing from me soon!
