In this vlog, Israel LoBue shares a concise, four‑step morning routine designed to help Christian fathers over 40 "win" their mornings and, by extension, their days. He begins by emphasizing the importance of setting an early alarm (around 5–5:30 am) and placing the alarm far from the bed so the listener must physically get up, avoiding the snooze habit. The second step is to drink 20–30 oz of water immediately upon waking to re‑hydrate the body after a night of fluid loss. The third step is a rapid, protein‑rich breakfast—typically a shake that takes under five minutes—to supply nutrients and sustain energy. As a bonus fourth step, he recommends a morning workout (any form of movement, from a walk to a HIIT session) tailored to personal fitness goals. Israel stresses that these actions must be performed consistently for six months to two years to produce lasting health, fitness, and fatherhood benefits.

Hey guys, Israel here. Something I want to share with you in this video is 3 things that I do in the morning to win my day. So I'll just title this video How to Win the Morning. If you can win your morning, chances are you're going to be really set up for success to win your day. If you don't win your morning, chances are your day is going to just really just beat you up, right? So here's 3 simple things that you can do to win the morning. First of all, set an alarm. Set an alarm to wake up early enough to really get your day going. Now for me, that's around 5 or 5:30 in the morning. Now here's the trick with setting the alarm, is when that alarm goes off, you actually have to get up. Because here's what's going to happen if you don't get up. If you hit snooze, you're going to sleep for another 10-15 minutes. And now you've already created a bad habit of delaying when you're actually going to wake up, so everything else gets pushed out, and you're cheating on yourself, and you're not winning in the morning because you're not staying true to the commitment that you made of waking up early in the morning. One little caveat to that, to make that actually stick, is wherever your alarm is, put it far enough away to you— you have to actually get up to turn it off. Because once your feet hit the ground, hopefully that triggers something in your brain to be like, okay, I'm up, I actually had to get up, it's going to be more work for me to go back into my comfortable bed and stay in my comfort zone. So you gotta get a little uncomfortable. So make it easy to succeed and hard to fail. You'll hear me say that quite often because that's really the key ingredient. At least that's worked for me, and I know it'll work for you. Set yourself up for success. If you put that thing right next to your bed, good luck. You're going to hit snooze, you're going to be in comfort zone, and before you know it, now you just wasted a bunch of time and you didn't win the morning. So win the morning. First thing, hit that, hit that, uh, wake up, go turn off your alarm. And now boom, that's win number 1. So you want to rack and stack these wins. Win number 2 is have a bottle of water already prepared by your side, literally by your bed or your nightstand, with 20 to 30 ounces, and chug that thing. It's going to do wonders for your body. One, you just peed out a lot of water and stuff as you were sleeping and all that, so your body's already dehydrated. Now you're going to fill your body full of water, which is what your body is mostly made up of. And you're gonna have win number 2, okay? And it's gonna get things moving, okay? Watch those past videos that I shared on water and why it's so beneficial. That's win number 2. Win number 3 is breakfast and tackling breakfast. Watch the previous videos on what I do for breakfast, but I have a quick, simple— takes less than 5 minutes, I'd probably even venture to say less than 3 minutes— protein shake. Boom! Gets up nutrient-dense in my body, protein. And boom, now I've stacked 3 wins. Man, I'm just on fire. I'm ready to go. I've got 3 wins in my corner now, ready to launch my day. Now here's a bonus, bonus number 4 that I do. If you're like me and you got to get it out of the way otherwise it won't happen, is bonus number 4, win number 4, is a workout. Now it's going to vary on what you guys are trying to go for, whether it's to bulk up slender down, but nonetheless you want to move your body. That could be as simple as getting up in the morning and walking like I am, could be going to the gym and doing a full-on workout, it could be a quick little HIIT workout, 15-20 minutes. You determine what that is, but that's bonus win number 4, man. You stack 3 or 4 wins early in the morning before you've even— before even the sun comes up, especially if it's wintertime, man, you're just going to be so jacked, so ready to go, and just all these things that you stacked, you're gonna be more likely to continue to win the day. So that's how you win the morning, guys. Do those 4 things. You do them consistently, not for a day, not for a week, not for a month, but 6 to 12 months, 2 years, you're gonna change. The byproduct, just the natural outcome that's gonna happen, is you're gonna be a more healthy, fit, Father. And that's what I want for your life. So there it is, guys. Do those 3 or 4 things, do them consistently, and your life will transform. Love you guys. Bye.
