Hey guys, Israel here, and today I'm going to talk about a simple life hack that's worked for me for, gosh, probably well over a decade now. Something that I've added to my healthy habits and something that's really worked for me for the longevity of me staying healthy and fit. And that specific life hack is what I do in the morning, because in the morning I want to stack wins. The more wins that you have, the more successful you're going to be, the better your day is going to start, and One of the wins I want to have is how I tackle breakfast. Now, this may be not new to you or, um, not any type of revelation as far as what to do, but really the power in it is that you do it consistently over a long period of time. That's where you're going to see the most impact. So the simple thing that I do, and this is kind of a mantra that I want to continue to have layered into my videos, and it's something I learned a while back, is Anything that you do in life, specifically staying consistent with health and fitness, is you want to make things that you do in your life and habits that you develop easy to succeed and hard to fail. Okay, great combination, right? If it's easy to succeed and it's hard for me to fail, I'm more likely to stick with it and do it, and it's going to be part of my life. So one of the things that I've done for well over a decade that I want to share with you guys is what I do for breakfast. What I do for breakfast is I have a protein-packed shake. Now I keep it simple again because I want to be successful, and that's one of the key elements that anything that I tackle is I want to be able to stick to it. So if it's complicated, it's arduous, it's got a lot of steps and dynamics to it, chances of me being successful are probably less likely. Think about any habit that you have in your life that you do on a consistent basis. It probably doesn't take much thought process. You've done it for so long, it's just second nature. It's who you are. So for me, my breakfast has got to be simple, and it's got to be easy, and it's got to be nourishing to my body. It's got to be nutrient-dense. So to break it down real simply is, this is the win that I can stack. It takes less than 5 minutes to make, and I'm off on my day. And with a protein shake, it's— you know, you can transport anywhere, right? I'm out here walking, getting some movement in. If you got to commute to work, you can just put it in your little cup holder and drink it on your way to work. So for me, what that consists of is some basics as far as what I put in my protein shake. Um, again, to make things simple and easy, you can start with a simple, easy route, which is For me, almond milk. Now I'm dairy-free, so if you want to have milk or whatever, you can by all means go ahead. But for me, it's all plant-based. So it's for me 24 ounces of almond milk, or a combination of, you know, say 16 ounces of almond milk and some water, uh, if you want your almond milk to stretch. A frozen banana. A lot of the— a lot of you guys that are buying bananas and they're going bad, you got to throw them in the trash. Well, just freeze them. You can use them for your protein shakes. That's what we do. And then, so almond milk, a frozen banana, and 2 scoops of my protein powder, which I use a plant-based protein powder. You guys can use whey, you can use whatever you want. Again, don't complicate it, just do what works for you. And then I shake it up or put it in my Ninja, and there you go. So that's one way that you can have a healthy shake and get the nutrients you need and be on with the rest of your day. All right guys, take care.
