Designers often limit their own earning potential through mental blocks. Raise your income expectations by surrounding yourself with people who earn 3-4x more, and adopt a giving mindset by donating a percentage of what you make to reframe money as something that flows rather than stagnates.
Because in the last 15 days I have read close to 25 plus one to ones. Okay? In the last 15 to I would say yeah, close to two weeks, 14 to 15 days. I'm not able to think beyond this salary number, this particular pattern this guy has asked openly and many of the people are not able to ask. But I know the patterns behind you have to work with a bigger accountability. Welcome guys. I wanted to definitely record this video because in the last 15 days I have read close to 25 plus one to ones. Okay? In the last 15 to I would say yeah, close to two weeks, 14 to 15 days. So the repeated questions which people have asked me and particularly there is one student who have asked me this question. I'm not able to think beyond the salary number, okay? And I'm. I'm not sure whether this is possible or not. So this has been a question from him and more importantly I could, I could decode all this one to ones what I've been having so far. And everybody has this self doubt, everybody has this big, big issue, right? I thought to record this, I don't want to name the student. I mean he's a very extraordinary guy but he got a little stuck in his career and that is what is making him think. And more importantly he has not seen the big number. So. So this particular pattern this guy has asked openly and many of the people are not able to ask. But I know the patterns behind since I'm doing the one to ones for a longer time. So there are two things which I'll talk in this. The first concept is you have to work with a bigger accountability. See your vessel and your thermostat towards seeing the salary as a number has to grow in 10 to 15 years before every parent would have said, or maybe a family would have been telling you 15 to 20,000 is more than sufficient to live a happy family life. We don't need much apart from this. But now it lacks minimum. You need 60,001 lakh or maybe 1.5 lakhs to even lead a normal life, right? Or not. So our thermostat is increasing because of inflation. Second, your thermostat can be increased when you interact with the people who are 10x above you. That's what exactly we're doing. In squadrons, in squadrons, your commanders and captains are earning at least 3 to 4x higher than you when you are in a very lower salary or maybe in a different range when you're starting up, no problem. Everybody starts right? When you're in the contributor or her when you are just as a, like, like let's say first you are an incubator, okay. You're becoming little active in this community and you're a counselor. You tend to see your commanders getting a huge salary. Slowly, slowly what happens is your mind started expanding. Your mind will start expanding. Hey, if this guy can do it, I don't think it's very difficult for me. I'm also almost having the same method, system, portfolio process, hackathon, everything. What happened? So the connect with all of your squadron members and the accountability partners, whoever you have is very important. I wanted you guys to type out how much people you're gonna also interact in the next 15 days before this end of the month for just blind one towards don't have any agenda, just talk to them. Second component, if you have to really increase your thermostat towards doing that, I would highly recommend you to do lot of charity. Yes, I felt that when my mentor also said that I was not actually taking care of this much. Seriously. Okay. I'm not that kind of a person. And, and more importantly, a couple of years before I would ask somebody please give me money. Okay. But the situation is very different once I started doing this charity. Even in my difficult times of my financial crisis and life and, and every single time when money hits my bank account, there is a concept in Japanese which is called arigato or they used to say thank you when the money comes in. They say thank you when the money goes out. Also they say thank you. Nobody gives thank you when the money goes up. When money comes and salary hits on the day one credited, they will be happy. We'll be saying 100 but we will not do it back. Right? So when you give that concept like let's say hey, if I'm getting thousand rupees in my bank account, 10%, 100 rupees has to go to charity. Or maybe 3%, 30 rupees at least have to go to charity. If you have that mindset, you will see that your life will unfold in a very different direction. Again, don't expect to do charity, but you are going to get back. You need to do charity without expecting anything. When you do this kind of an activities, like let's say a lot of one to one with your squadron members. Second is doing a lot of charity. When it, when you are getting that money and the capacity like let's say 3 to 10 percentage, you will see that you will find I have to really earn more in order to help more. You will be working in that service mindset, you will be having the thought process towards working in a very different, like let's say a kind of mentality which will give you a lot of infinite energy to run forward. This is a phenomenal understanding what I've got when I work with many students. And I can say that some of the students have adopted this methodologies and some of the people now numb. They're seeing numbers as. I mean seeing the salaries as just a numbers. Whenever you're not getting 15 LP will be like, when I'm going to get 12 to 15 LP, all of my depth is there. When you reach 15 LP, like when am I going to get 30 LP, when you reach 30 LP, when am I going to get 70 LP? Over a point of time, number becomes just a number. But internally, what shifted inside you? Like let's say when you're earning 30, 40 LPA, when you're giving 3 to 4 lakhs in a year as a charity, this is a very different thought process you will get. And the next year you will be attempting to give more. When it comes to helping others, you see these two things happening in your life. Your entire thermostat will slowly change in the next one year. You will be seeing your entire lifestyle of your family and you in a whole new different way. I wanted you guys to imbibe this concept, okay? And I'm going to be uploading it in the public as well because people also have to understand the importance of it. Okay.
