90 Days Roadmap for UX/UI Designers | From Confusion to First Job

Okay. Even though some of the people say my portfolio is not ready, I ask them, just take your one day project. Take your one week project start. The more and more you're delaying, the more and more you're losing. Okay? So it's not like these people are perfect. Perfect. They will become perfect on the go. You need to create something before you leave. Okay? We all died two times. You know when 99% of the people have changed their complete fang bang companies after they come on a one to one. Okay, I'll just show you a simple example what we have, what we have really planned. Okay? So this will be something which will be very new for all of the people. I want every single one of you to go through this. Okay? See, I'm just showing you a small concept what we have created, okay? We just want to create something like this example. Okay? We want to create like a Netflix channel for you. So those of you are coming into this web page, you should feel more engaged. We're going to put real world UX case studies. We're going to put where exactly designers are lagging and what exactly is the podcast which I've created. And more importantly, you're also going to get the trends. But I wanted people to be here who are really not worried about that, who are focusing only on innovation. Site is ready. I made them write literally 25 to 27 questions about your story, about your past, about your achievements, you know, something called reality check sheet. I ask you to do it before you meet me on one to one entire reality check sheet. We uploaded in the lovable and then we have created a personal achievement, personal story, personal branding and everything we did, okay, we started from 5:45 or 5:50. We went till 10:30 and after two hours also many people reiterated using the prompts. We did 100 prompts, 100 credits on that day. Everybody brought their branded pictures, Everybody brought their photoshoot, studio of pictures and videos. Some of the people recorded their videos then and there. Some of the people added their high quality images and also they purchased the domain in Namecheap and GoDaddy and it's thousand rupees. Okay? And many people have got the lovable credits directly from the vendor on that day. 100 credits, everything. We did it in one day. All of you type crazy in the chat box. How many of you wanted this? Right now it's more than 400 and that particular day 292 or 300. Close to 300 we did. Before EOD. If you wanted to understand their requirement, the first important thing which the corporate industries are requiring is your leadership skills and your cultural fit. Okay? Your design skills come second. First they will understand your leadership skills and how do you fit their culture. If you're going for a startup studio, this kind of requirements will not be there. Okay? If you're going for a service company, 3 LPA, 4 LPA, they will look for your visuals faster. If you're going for 8 to 10 LPA, they will look for your problem solving ability. Like let's say if it's a service level company, if you're going for a growing product companies more than 1520 LP. If you're targeting, people will look for your authenticity in your thinking process. How exactly you can solve the problem without even any methods how good you are in design process. If you're looking for 30 LP and more, people look for your leadership skills. People look for Your cultural fit. So when you have to really improve your research skills, you got to practice this thing called Daily ux. How many of you don't know this? Daily UX means every single day you need to take one product. Like let's say you take this, okay, you take this example. Daily ux. What does mean by Daily ux? Daily UX means you have to take this particular product. You have to think why this person has created this kind of a handle for the blade. Why this is in the alternate black and white color. Why there is a grip available here? Oh, this is for holding while we are cutting. You need a grip. Oh, okay. And why this blade is having lines? Oh, this blade can be broken. And this can be used to be the resharpening. And why there is a edge over here? Because you can take this blade and you can break this. How many of you don't know this? And why there is a handle here? We can put it in pocket. And why this is looking here bulk and here little small. Because people need grip. People need handle ergonomic comfort. Wow. This much of things is there. And why this is having a little AXA frame here. Because this is to have a little knurling surface. And why particularly it is not having any sharp edge? Because this is not to spoil you. And when you prepare for one to one, you do valid determination, you come to know your real value in your life. Once you do one day, one week project, you find out your little strength. Also once you go through all the basic models of power of one and when you complete that project, you will come to know Jagdish. This is where my strength is there. Where is the gap available? Once you understand where is the industry trend going? Forrester, Crunchbase, Statista. All these platforms are very, very important. This is where you find out the hidden market. The next two to three years, which industries are going to go boom. Once you find out that gap, then you build projects around it. That is called hyper hackathons. Once you build hyper hackathons, then you can create a brand out of it. Then you can create a project and a portfolio and a website out of it. Then automatically leadership positions will come to you. You are now moving from an individual contributor into a leader path of a designer. 15 days you are going to prepare this journey. You will complete getting started. Whether you're a silver or a Gold member. 15 days you initially take to get synchronized in this cycle. Because this is a difficult cycle to start. Next 15 days you will come and participate in hackathons. You. Your skill will started improving. You will come to know whatever you learned. It's completely. You are going to unlearn here. 30 days, you will be building a great momentum. 30 to 45 days, either you will come into squadron or you will complete the hackathon. You will build a lot of momentum to start creating portfolios, start creating resume, start start creating branding materials. You will get strong in your skills. Next 15 days you will come to know the fractal sessions, momentum sessions. You will understand what is mean by LinkedIn. You will understand the portfolio. Connections, job applications. 60 days a person is ready here. There is no other job beyond 60 days. 75th day, you will be started applying for the job. You will start receiving many interview calls. You will start receiving many applications. Maybe if you take a little slower path, you will take 90 days. But after 75th day, people will start receiving offers. Start receiving interview calls. Next to 15 days. If you follow that correctly, as I'm telling you 90th day, there is no option that you will not get job.
