Day 31-How to use Tools for viewing Stat of companies- Skill Booster 100 Day Challenge

Jagadeesh P shows how to use Glassdoor, LinkedIn Insights, and salaryhike.com to research company stats, salary data, and industry trends. Learn to analyze companies before applying and interviewing, using real data to make smarter job decisions.
Issue telling the gap needs to be found out. You have to understand the statistics and information. But tell me how to do it. Tell me how to read the statistics. Tell me how to find out whether this is okay for me or how should I approach and go about it. Okay, so that's the topic today. In fact I love this topic. Whatever people have asked me and yeah, so we will go deep into it. So just take a lot of notes because you will not be able to get it if you're not understanding mean if you're not able to take notes. The reason being very important. You will have to know what tools to use. You will have to know how to use. You'll have to follow the steps accordingly so that you can uncover lot of potentials under the industries. You may be seeing that industry as. Okay, let's say some vacancy is there.
Okay?
Or maybe you'll say no Jagdish, not vacancy is not there. You will tell only like this, right? But when you now understand the power of this session, the class, whatever we are going to teach now, you're going to uncover lot of opportunities inside the industry. Sometimes even people will not be able to find it out. That is the magic of today's class.
Okay?
So that is why I'm telling you, pay close attention and it's going to be a very short session and I'll make sure it is very easily understandable for you guys.
Okay?
Yes. So fine guys, could you help others as well? Will that be okay for joining them? Yeah. Great. I'll be sharing my screen as well. Just a second. Just a second guys. Just a second. That's great. Okay, fine. Yes guys, so in fact we are in the day 30. So how to use the tools for viewing the stats of the company. Okay, just give me a second. Just give me a second. Yeah, can you put the link in the group design for change and job special group, the zoom link. Okay, fine. Can you do that? I'll do that for the YouTube live link. Just a second. Yeah, one second. I'm just forwarding this link to the other people so that they can also join and take an advantage. Many people have asked me this. Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. Okay, great guys. Okay fine. We are back now. So let me share my screen again so that it will be now we are starting with this. Great. So how to use the tools for viewing the statistics of the company. Okay. In fact there are a lot of tools like glass doors, LinkedIn insights and you can find many what you call ready made tools available. Like okay, sometimes the tools will be like paid tools. Sometimes it will be free tools, but it is totally up to you whatever you wanted to use, okay? Because in the basic free tools itself, you can able to get lot of good data and statistics about an industry.
Okay?
So look very carefully guys. See this concept, this particular topic is little offbeat, okay? It's not very conventional topic, okay? So please listen to it very carefully. The, the similarity, what I'm seeing in this topic is if you know how to read the statistics and data, you can similarly use that skill for your design research as well. It's not only for the companies, it's also for finding out the problems inside your projects. What you're taking that is the one similarity. What I'm seeing second is it is very vital for you to uncover lot of potential opportunities inside the organization, inside the job market. See, nobody else can do it except you. And how you read the data, how you read the statistics will give you lot of possibilities to go and uncover. See, I will give you one example before we start this, okay? Like let's say now AI is rising and a lot of industries are taking over, okay? If you can, like let's say instead of telling, oh, AI is having lot of scope, let me make one project in AI and then apply for industries who is adopting AI. Instead of telling like that, try to understand a service based company or a design based company, how much adoption they are taking into AI, how much percentage of projects they are converting into AI, how much percentage of manpower are they employing into AI and how much revenues they're making before and after compared to AI. So what kind of a creativity and design projects available in that? And what region is majorly focused? Bangalore or Chennai or Mumbai or what is that? Kolkata. And how much employees have been now reduced after coming into AI. So if you know this much of data and if you can read the patterns, you can able to approach those industries in an even more specific way. If it's like let's say creative agency, if it is a marketing agency, if it's a branding agency, if it's a website building agency, whatever website building, what you call services or product development, applications or anything, you can use the AI skills accordingly or that particular skills in order to go and pitch them. So before going and approaching that, you will have to find out this gap. Strategically this is very, very important, okay? Because lot of people prematurely attend many interviews. They don't understand the background, what is happening. They cannot see the larger picture of it. That is why you have to be proficient in reading the data.
Okay.
So that is the main point behind why I'm telling you this is okay? Yes. So why it is important? See, first of all you will have to understand the glass doors LinkedIn insights Statista to use it very, very effectively. The reason being it provides insights for the companies interviews. In interviews and company analysis and job selection. So many people go into a fear, right? Inside the interviews. Many people get into nervousness. Many people don't know what to talk in interview. Absolutely. You have not studied the industry. If you have studied the industry properly, even for the industries, what you're applying for the interview or for phone call interview or anything. If you know what is really happening, what is the statistics, what is the revenues, what is the design growth, what is the way in which they are operating the employees? Compared to last year and this year, you will be able to far more clearly apply for that industry. Your confidence will be very high.
Okay.
And it helps you understand the trends, salaries, reviews. Yeah, this is very interesting. The reason being you can also find out how much employees are really reviewing about this company in a very good way. What are the kind of salaries are they providing? What are the trend? So it helps you assess the real data of a company.
Okay?
This is most most important guys. Because company will always try to tell you we are super companies. We are great. It's a great place for an employee to work. No company will tell we are worst, right? Will you tell yourself as a worst? You will not tell, right? Hey, I am a Muthu. I am a super duper UI UX designer. I'm. I'm a superman. I'll do everything. You will try to put the best from you. Company will also try to put the best from you. But reality is reality. We both know how much problem we have, okay? And how much company also has a problem. In order to understand that you will have to understand this. This is what is going to give you reality. If you understand this information and parallel, you can talk to many employees of their organization. And you can also do this kind of a statistic, glass doors, LinkedIn insights. To understand what are the real work life paths. Maybe the HR may say in our company we value employees like anything. We have an excellent work life balance. If you go to Glassdoor Insights and see out of five rating they got only one rating. Every employee has complained about the work life balance. That means that HR is not correct. The company has really some serious problem in terms of culture. You will have to be very careful before you go and attend there. See, you should not Waste time going and preparing an application, talking to the HR of that industry. It is completely a waste of time.
Okay.
So that is the reason why are going into this topic very easily. Okay. What are the key techniques to do it? Jagdish? First of all, Glass Doors provides a great insights, guys. In fact, for the salary, I would say Glass Doors is really good. In fact, there is something called salaryhike.com that is also a great way to understand the salary details and the company employee review details. And you are fit according to those industries. This will give you clarity. Like let's say many times HR asks you what is expectation salary. People are getting nervous when they are answering that. Why would you get nervous? You have not did your research properly. You should understand what is the average market. You should understand what is the value for your level of skills. You should understand what is the level of salaries for those kind of industries. And then you have to draw the line carefully and ask them. This is how you justify. You cannot just like that say hi, you give me 12 LPA. Are you giving me 15 LPA? There should be some backing. It should be convincing also. Then and only they'll consider that. Or they will easily understand you are just goofing up some numbers.
Okay.
So understand this.
Okay.
So analyze review by job, role and location. Use salary comparison tool to set benchmarks. You can use something called salaryhike.com. sorry.
Okay.
Just create a free account and start using it. This is a wonderful tool. I would say to get started.
Okay.
And LinkedIn insights. This will also give you great clarity in terms of the company growth, the demographic, the job postings. Of course, I think you might have known about this LinkedIn insights, right? It is very fairly direct. If you go for any job search company portal in LinkedIn, it will show you these details. And also you can track employee movement and expansion. That means people who left the company, people who are an alumni, everybody. You can talk. Like let's say if recently a lot of people have left the company. Like let's say five employees have left the company.
Okay.
In the recent one, one week or maybe one month, you talk to this. Five employees, five designers. Hey, five designers each and everybody I'm seeing. Hi. Hi. I'm so and so. I. I mean I understood that you're. You're working in so and so organization. I saw your work is very interesting. First build a trust. Talk to them. Can I understand what is the reason you are looking for a career switch outside. And then you left this so and so company. He will Tell one reason. Ask for the five people. Understand that if you find a commonality in that then you can find a common pitch point with that. If you can create a project and pitch this organization, that would be great. If it is all in a bad reviews, it is better to ignore that organization. So you should know how to read this data. You should know how to read the things which is going on the background. That is why that is how you tend to become very smarter. See the problem what happens is people don't have a patience to do any of these things. If you don't have a patience, if you don't are. If you're not spending time qualitatively here then how come you are expecting any kind of a results in your career? Tell me. I told you this is how you can get started. I'm going to tell you close to 25 tools how you can able to get data. Start reading the patterns and everything. But the point here, what I wanted to again stress you is if you're not utilizing it properly, you will not be able to get results. There is one student of me, okay, I don't want to name the student but. But he said, yagdish, I'm applying industries. I'm not getting any reply. So I said how are you applying? So he said he is just like that, applying randomly without even knowing about any industry, any company, any statistics, any information. Nothing. He's doing nothing. He's just applying randomly in LinkedIn, LinkedIn. And then he's saying, Jagdish, your method is not working. I said, you are not even applying the method. How come the method will not work? No Jagdish, it's not working. I asked him, open your LinkedIn, show me your messages. How are you messaging to the recruiter? He's not even messaging. He's just telling, hi, it's been a pleasure talking to you. I'm a UI based designer. I would like to work for your company. Please hire me. This is my portfolio. Same message is sending to all the hundreds of recruiters. Random.
Okay.
Not even applying any kind of an inside message, any conversation, anything, just applying, applying, applying. I. I told him one more time please, you have to change your strategy. You are just going and banging the wall randomly. You're not going to get any results. He said, okay, Jagdish, I'll apply. Okay, I'll use this method. After a week I followed up, followed up, followed with him again.
Okay.
See people who follow the method, the process, they will update me regularly. If they don't apply the method or the process, I will have to follow it up with them. That is why I got really sick. One or two times. I will follow after that I will leave this person. Waste of time for me, right? So then one week after that I followed him deliberately. Then I told asked him. Are you applying the same method? Yeah, I'm applying. Could you show me? First I asked him. Did you get any interview calls? Results? No, Jagdish. Nobody is calling me. Maybe I have chosen design wrongly. Maybe I have some other experience in other field. That is why people are not hiring me. See, he's going into the negative mode. Look how how negativity is coming into it.
Okay.
And then he's saying no Jagdish, I got two, three years of experience. See, they are asking for how I am fitting into the design role. Currently I am not able to tell clearly, Jagdish. That is why I'm getting rejected. Oh brother. You are applying for last three months. You're not getting this negative feeling now. Why? Why are you getting no Jagdish? My communication is bad. No Jagdish. Portfolio. I need to improve a lot. Hello brother. Nothing is important. First don't go into those details. First understand what the company requires. Build a story to talk to them. First of all. So again he said no Jagdish, I'm. I'm just applying just randomly. I said it's better you leave the program. You can. You can be there in the WhatsApp group. It's better you be on your own. Because you're unnecessarily wasting your time as well as my time. I told him not to come.
Hey.
He's like sorry, Sorry Jagdish. No, I'll follow. No. You don't have to be sorry with me. What is the reason you have to be sorry with me and all. There is a method and a process. Don't be creative on that. Be just follower. Very simple. Be just obedient. Because you have to surrender to the process. You are not surrendering to somebody. You are surrendering to a process. This is a career step method which has been proved and given by one of the world class career coaches. For me, I have learned it. I've spent a lot of money to understand this method and learn it. No design college has taught me any of these things. Okay? Please understand that. And no experience. I've also not thought I have only 10 years experience. I don't have 50 years experience.
Okay?
But the guy who has helped me learn this has close to 35 years of experience. It's not a joke. He has helped many students get job into abroad countries, close to 30 countries. The formula and the method is same. I have used it exactly for designers. I've used exactly for product designers. That is why I'm telling you use this method blindly. Don't think. If I'm saying go and research an industry, go and do it. If I'm saying use this tool, use it. If I'm asking you to talk about salary using the salaryhike.com use it. If I'm telling you ask this question, use it. Just don't think, do it. If you're. If you are putting your brain inside that, put your brain inside your process, creativity, your projects. I'm not. I mean I'm more than happy to do that. I'm more than happy to encourage you to do that. But this is pretty much process. Do not skip anything, just do it. Because if you are doing this, you will see lot of results coming into your next week itself. In the coming week itself you will have lot of interviews piled up. So I will ask one person, Muthu, can you just tell me like before joining this program like let's say he's been like 10 days. I think he's been with us before 10 days and after this particular 10 days how are you feeling? Are you getting many interview calls? Are you getting many messages from the people in the LinkedIn and other people? Can you just share your experience please?
So I'm getting small interview call after.
This.
First of all have filled out my resume and made it as a professional. With that eight years my I am filtering out for many companies in the companies and with the of LinkedIn I have reached to many people from that they are asking for portfolio and they giving their task and in an interview call I'm like I'm not like trained so I'm practicing for the to crack the calls and now nowadays they are coming behind me like I don't know, it's like I'm working on it. So it's happening.
Yesterday also night he attended like one or two interviews I guess. And then he got. So the thing is initially when he came, you know what happened? He was like Jagdish, I have design task, I need to do it, I need to do it. I said wait first understand what's happening. Come to the reality, okay this much of things needs to done things needs to be done before going and approaching any interviews initially it may seem little overwhelming. Hey Jagdish, this much I have to do. Oh, what is this? Is it? Is it okay? When my time is going, how should I research about these industries, all these things you will have little problem. But sorry guys, one second. I have to just message in the YouTube as well. Okay, great. Initially it may seem overwhelming but eventually when you start doing with industries, you will find speed coming into you one hour. How much? How? Let's say two companies you are able to research and bring this clarity in going forward after a week, in one hour you will be able to find 10 industries. In one hour you will be able to Find 15 industries. So this becomes autonomous for you automatically. You will know how to start your job camping search and you will know how to use these tools, how to read the data, how to find out the statistics and how to find the gap and talk to the people. Because I'm telling you guys, if you are in design for change program, every two weeks you have to get two offers. Every 14 days you should get two offers in your hand. Not two interview calls. Not to design tasks, not to application of job. I am telling two offers in your hand. Accepted offers, acceptance. Not your site company has sent you. If you're not able to generate two offers in two weeks, you are completely in the wrong track. You are not updated. You are not in the job search process at all. You're just randomly wavering here and there. Simple. If you are getting two offers, I am telling you in next six months you can able to at least 5x to 6x your salaries. What you're currently getting. Now I'm giving in writing, I'm telling very, very normal, average thing.
Okay?
If you're not hiking your salaries in every three months or six months or one year, what happens is you're already losing out. You're already losing out. Big projects, big team, big salaries. Your entire career is going into a very mediocre level. It is your responsibility to read this data, find out the gap, start applying, start talking with people. We have an excel sheet, list of companies and the parameters to judge. So you will have to write down the metrics of these companies and come up with your codex document and tell me Jagdish, according to my codex, these industries are coming. I made the research of this industries. This is the metrics out of these companies. Only five companies are really, really suitable for me. So now this is the gaps I found. Is it okay? Can I use other tools to find out any gaps? How do I start the conversation with? This is how you have to get started with me. If you are in this Track you are perfectly going to get results in the next 15 to 20 days. I'm telling you in front of you guys, before end of this month Mudu will crack at least two to three offers. I'm telling you.
Okay?
So Mudu, don't be happy. I'm telling for the others. But the thing is internally you'll have to go and work first.
Okay?
But I'm confident that this guy will get results for sure. Fine. So we will understand if people are driven in the right direction or not by just seeing their actions. I want everybody to do that. So if you are really coming into this action mode, connect with me and I will know what you're doing and you'll have to show me there are some mistakes also. Which Muthu did. He lost one good interview yesterday. He used the wrong words. That's okay. That will happen. In fact if he used that few right words he would have attended yesterday that wonderful interview. It is close to 10 or 12 LP. It's a very good salary job actually. Yeah, fine, mistake happens. But you'll have to correct and go forward. You have to use the right words to the right people and showcase the right skill. Invite them for an interview and clearly close these things.
Okay?
Because small, small things, everything what I'm telling you. Let's say if you understand salaryhike.com and get to know what salary people are getting for your experience you will have some numbers clearly to talk every time. HRS will ask you what is your expectation salary and you will say some salary and they'll tell you we'll get back, right? That means you have told some random numbers. If you are having some convincing numbers to explain this people, they will tell you this is high. Or they will tell you can we have the next round of interview. That means they're accepting that. So please understand this. These are all the signs how you can able to get the person to start interacting with you.
Okay.
Statista for market analysis. So assess the reports of the market growth and trends. Filter insights specific to the technology and E commerce. Like let's say I've taken some example of technology and e commerce industry but ideally you can take for any industry guys. Okay so let me show you some methods. First of all I will give you one easy steps.
Okay.
See go to glass doors. Try to research about the industry like let's say the review of the company, the rating, the salary, the benefits. Filter by job title location. I think I've told you this in our silver membership courses. Also very detailed about the glass Door insights how you can use it.
Okay.
People who have not watched it, kindly go and watch it again if you have not watched it.
Okay?
Yeah. And how to can use this leverage inside statist and everything. So everything is fine. Say I'm just giving you outline. But the moment when you open this portals and see the data, you will have to start connecting the dots. You will have to start understanding what's happening. I'll show you one drive example also. Just give me a second. So this is the point. The thing is you will have to read this information and find out the gap and track this adoption. What's happening? If they're saying they are technology adapters. Technology adapters find some important information and statistics which is relevant to the technology adoption and validate that.
Okay.
And try to understand if that company is going in profit or if it's in the dip or if it's trying to improve. You will have to always apply for the industries which is trying to improve. You should not always look for the industries which is high profit making. What you will go do there, you will be in a very small position there. If you're dipping, if you're going to apply in a company which is dipping, it is not a good choice. You will have a lot of problems over the time.
Okay?
You will have to look for the industries who is striving for the growth, who is building their processes, who is setting up their design team. So these are all the industries which is highly, highly suitable for you. Your skills will be valued, you will be immediately hired, you will be given a salaries, whatever you ask. This is how you have to find your dream job. Sustainable fare exchange job.
Okay?
In order to find that this much of work needs to be done, it is not going to come just like that easily.
Okay?
Yes. So I'll give you a live demo. Also just look at this. How do I give this? Compare employee satisfaction salaries between e commerce companies using glass doors LinkedIn in you in use in analyzing employees demography at a tech firm Access market report for global e commerce growth in five years. Okay, fine. So let me show you one important information, guys. Okay, very quickly before that I would like you to go to the learning management portal and mark your attendance. Today you're going to get 75 points for that. Okay, Yesterday I gave you. Yesterday I left the call early, right? So that 50 points for the hackathon and today 25 points. I'm giving you 75 points. Go and mark your attendance and you're going to get that. Fine, Good. So let me Share my screen. Yes. Guys, can you see my screen? Okay, this is called glass door inserts. I'm just showing you. But the point here is there are a lot more tools available which I'll tell you, don't worry. This is a common tool I tell every time. But the point what I'm trying to again emphasize is try to read this data carefully. Like let's say if you're having any kind of a salary related doubts or if you don't know how to tell the salary benefits. Like let's say if Amazon is approaching you. Okay, let's take this. Amazon is approaching you. Try and understand Amazon's diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, career opportunities, cultural value, senior management, work, life balance. Everything is almost 3.5, 3.2 rating. Something like that. Right?
Okay.
And look at this. Five star rating. Five star rating is more. Andrew Jassy 65% approve of CEO. Okay, this is not going to be helpful for us. Okay, so senior software engineer team lead. Hey Fishers. I have an interview first round with Amazon Fund managers investigation. Can somebody help me? So people are also asking you certain doubts. If you know about this company, you can answer this. But try to understand what is happening. Maybe somebody would have replied these questions. Okay, it may be very helpful. Maybe you are selected for Amazon for the next round. You don't know how to attend. This is inside data.
Okay.
Glassdoors will only provide the insights when you log in with your company details and your data and then it will give you the insights which is relevant for you. It's a very very smart platform but you will have to use it. Okay, look at this. Prepare notes, practice in front of mirror. Record yourself in interview setting. Because people who are attending this interview or maybe they don't they they've already have some experience. They would have replied you. Okay, so you can read this. What is the company name? How did the interview go? Something so people have had some conversation inside.
Okay.
HCL Tech referral opportunities. So try to understand. Okay, let me go and see some other information in what's happening. Wait. Okay, something is happening. So let me go and read this information about salaries. Let's read this. So skilled labor, manufacturing, product and project management, research and science, engineering, operations. Okay, so it's not much about design art and design. Yeah, we can go here. UX designers too. Okay, so this much of people have interacted about the salaries. Okay, so 12 to 27 LP is average Amazon. This is the salary. They will not give you less salary if you're applying for Amazon as a fresher or UI UX designer. Minimum you will be getting 15 to 20 or 30 LP.
Okay?
So you will not get less than that. If you are getting less than that, then you are getting scammed. Be a little careful about it, okay? Because in the name of Amazon, many people third party consultant, other people will also come and scam you. Try to understand that they will give you only 12 LP in your papers. But the remaining salary will go for some other consultant. Please be mindful of all these things. People will tell you they are from Accenture, they are from IBM. But the point is they will not be a direct recruiters. So try and understand it before you go and approach it, okay? Because this is average value. And also you can say additional 7 lakh per average hike. It is happening per year. That means it's a very good company. The year on year growth is very high. Means that means they're doing incredibly well in terms of their product and service and offerings. This is how we have to take the insight. Okay, how accurate is this average? You can mean you can also provide some rating for this company. That's okay. So a focus. I already answered. Hi folks, need your advice. How much can I can a five year of experience UX designer can ask for? Currently I'm in search for job. Okay, this. This guy is asking like us. Fine, I'm a UX designer, around four years of experience. How much salary can I negotiate? See, look at this. This person has asked his question and 9 comments has come. Okay, one person has asked your current. Your current fixed CTC 10 plus 2 LPA. Okay, this guy says 12 LPA. Okay then. Hi dear, is there opening for graphic designer for the fresher? Okay, fine, so somebody is answering. You already have three offers. Then why you still looking for another? See, look at this. Some kind of conversion, some kind of a pattern. You can able to find out. Okay, so guys, I'm stuck in loop to decide between Punch and Nexon. This is something very different. Sorry guys. Okay, ha. Look at this. 4.5 years of experience, 26.15 lpa. Which is a great salary from the background of B. My father is working in a state government who is looking for. So what happens is not all conversation will be useful, but certain conversation people would have answered that maybe people are working in the same company would have answered. The guy from Amazon will also answer this. Okay, Amazon is very comfortable to give you this much salaries. You can ask for it or maybe they'll say no, it is not comfortable, don't ask for it. Since you all just already have this experience. So ask for this much salary, ask for this much average.
Okay.
Then what you have to do is you have to understand this conversation.
Okay.
When you have Amazon in your mind, you have to get rid of these numbers beyond 15 to 20 LP only. They are going to offer you very simple. So now you got some broader range. Now what you have to do, you have to go for salaryhike.com.
Okay.
Look at this here. What is this? Just a second. Not coming. Actually you can find the salary hike dot com. I don't know, I missed the link of this. What happens is it provides you a average salary for a UX designer or a UI designer or a graphic designer, whatever you're looking for. It will show you the region based data. Like let's say in this region. This is the average salary.
Okay.
It will provide you the exact numbers. How much, how, how much was the people getting and how much was the potential for this role, the growth.
Okay.
With that numbers you can talk to the people. Once you're doing it, I don't know, like find salary by hike. Like let's say I. We are talking about like let's say 6 lpa.
Okay.
Hike percentage. We are looking for some 2x like 200 percentage calculate. All right. This is not a, this is just a calculator. It is not going giving me any kind of a prediction. Okay, fine. Let's do one thing. I have already collected some tools for you that would perhaps help you.
Okay.
So I mean I. I'll just completely do this demo. Just wait for a second. Yeah. This is the last part of it.
Okay.
So why it is very important you have to understand this. This data will trigger you to have more confidence and build lot of conversation. Particularly you will have to use multiple platforms to recognize the data sources and trends. Okay. This is the basic things behind it. And I'll tell you one thing. Global tech market grows by 9.6% annually reaching to 6 trillion. See, these are all the general statistics for understanding the market is there or not.
Okay.
But what I'm talking about is finding out the patterns inside that to arrive a gap. This is very important. Okay, I'm just telling you the general statistics. So 79% of the job seekers check reviews and salaries before applying. Please be careful.
Okay.
And applicant engaging with the company pages are 2.5x more likely to get interview calls. That means people who are looking at their social media page, their, their website, their other things. LinkedIn platform and other things people. Those people are 2.5 times more likely to get interview calls. That means you exactly know what industries are requiring and you're getting and you're getting closer to them. And also the SEOs will also promote. Okay, this guy is repeatedly coming for this company's website. Let me give a connection with the HR. That's how LinkedIn will also make money, right? LinkedIn will try to make you use the platform for a lot of time by bringing the hr, by bringing you and working together. Hey, post some information, use this platform. That's how they also get more profits and revenues, right? So understand the SEOs of the softwares also and try to use them in your manner. That is why I'm asking you many people to post some relevant information. Use the hashtags and keywords, tag the recruiters and hrs. Try to network with those people. Spend more time in the platform so you will get more accustomed towards it. Okay, got it. So I will tell you some statistics as well.
Okay.
How many of you know this Alerts in LinkedIn? Google Alerts is fine, but you can also use it for LinkedIn alerts. You can set alert for industry based on your job search process. Okay, you can keep this kind of an alert. So like let's say if this ratio goes up, okay, you can keep a LinkedIn. Like let's say if this company provides any kind of a job vacancies you can set automatically trigger an alert. I don't know whether it's available in free version, but it's available in the premium LinkedIn. Okay, once that alert is set, what happens is that may be your dream company but currently there is no vacancy. That is okay, but you can set an alert. Once the vacancy comes, you will be notified like this. If you do for 50 to 60 industries one or the other way in next 15 days itself, you will find that industry is going to hire for some rule. So use it very smartly. Okay? You know that job market is open. Job market is going to get open because you read the statistics correctly and then you understood this market is going to come. But right now there is no vacancy. But it will come. Create an alert and do it.
Okay?
You can find out in job scan. Also you can upload your resume, post your what you call post your job, match search search strategies and it will create an application which is more optimized for you. And similarly Pyjama HR also does the same thing. Pyr does the same thing.
Okay.
Resume synchro does the same thing. These are all the things which will help you to understand this particular what you call job search strategies in a very careful way.
Okay.
And if the percentage is little mismatch or maybe if the skills are little out off track, kindly change your strategy. You will have to use a different keyword. Or maybe you have to change the industry. This is how you look for relevant industries for you. What are the hacks? Use chrome extensions like LinkedIn, Sales Navigator. I mean, don't use this case because it's expensive. I would say people who are having some kind of a job already who are looking for very high level of job. Like let's say people who are looking for 30 or 40 or 50 LPA and they want to drive a bigger level of job, they can use that. If you're looking for a consulting agency, if you're looking for potential clients being a design agency, then this would be helpful. Otherwise it is not useful.
Okay?
Use ChatGPT to stimulate lot of simulate interview questions using Glassdoor and inside data. This I've already showed you in many classes. I've already given you a breakthrough walkthrough of how you can use chat GPT to also find out many information. Because many times what happens is you won't be able to find the data relevantly available in the industries at that time. AI can help you better. Just a second. What's happening? Fine. Can you see my screen? Guys, my screen is visible. Audio. Audio is not clear. Yes, like this. Okay, great. So like let's say if you're taking some information from here. Okay, I'm just doing little differently. Okay, I'm just trying to copy this entire comments. Okay And I'm going into the chat GPT and I'm asking chart GPT. Hey, recently I've read about the salary reviews for a company called Amazon. Okay, below is the chat what people are talking. Could you tell me what the insight I can take from this? I'm a fresher in UI UX design. Will it be helpful for me? From this discussion, here are some insights relevant for the fresher the salaries discussed such as 25 to 30 LPA with 4.5 experience indicate that tech roles including companies in Amazon offer high compensation. This is one insight when you're talking to a HR of Amazon, you should not come down beyond this value. If you come down, they'll take an advantage. Simple.
Okay.
Job switching and salary growth Many growth. Many professional mentioned switching jobs during COVID period and getting 100 percentage or more hikes. Really nice, right? The highlights and importance of strategically navigating your career early See so now I'm going to use this another method now can you analyze the salaryhike.com and glassdoor insights and LinkedIn insights to provide what are all the strategies I can use to apply for companies like Amazon? Could you please give me the relevant statistics and information which is there in the market right now? And also you could tell how in the next three years the market is predicted by some of the prominent statistics tools like Statista, Forester, etc. Chat GPT4O does it pretty well. But I. I'm not sure whether in the free version you will be able to use online searches. You can use a tool called Google Bard.
Okay?
It will provide you some real time insights the statistics and information. Okay, you can use Microsoft Copilot Copilot is really good guys. I'm telling you this is really nice. In fact, certain ANSWERS no Beyond ChatGPT copilot is able to give you great insight. See I. I mean I'm not using extensively because I've tuned ChatGPT to my application. But you guys can try it out. This will be super useful for you.
Okay?
Whatever topic you want, you can able to ask this. See in fact I really like this Copilot kind interface and other things try it out. Ideally I'm using charge GPT but you can try it out. Microsoft Copilot is free of cost.
Okay, fine.
And similarly Google Bar you can use. You can use Google Analytics, you can use. Sorry, Google Trends you can use to find out that. Okay look now what happened? The average salary of a UX designer is around this much dollars In India a UX designer can average of 13.8 lakhs per annum in Amazon with a range of 3.5 lakhs for juniors, 26 for senior roles. If you're having 2, 3 years of experience you can. You can expect this salary, equity and benefits. UX designer receives stock Options Average of 100K. One of my friend, he's working in Microsoft, he's getting salary in stocks amazing.
Okay.
41 percentage report that receiving annual bonus and 76 percentage express satisfaction with the benefits. This is great, right? Okay, you can go for comparably. This is a very good website also you can find it out. See so you are getting some sources from ChatGPT and from that sources you can go and find out this look, average compensation, very decent salary this company is providing, right? Average bonus equity range. So you can understand this is going to be a very growth potential company for you. It's not going to be a stagnated company if it's a Stagnated company. The kind of bonus the average year on year hike will be very, very, very, very less. Okay, so you will have to get some understanding what is happening here. Okay, then go and understand another practice market prediction in the next three years. So according to Forester and Statista, UI UX is expected to grow by 15 percentage digital products and services.
Okay?
And also Forester includes advanced AI and automation. Look, this is your insight guys. Understand this, take this, take this, copy this, go for another tab and try to research more about this. AI and automation is the next three years growth. So if you approach with that keywords now you can able to get more clarity. Okay, read this. What is the strategy for applying? Build a strong portfolio. It looks a little generic. Okay, so what I'll do is now give me some statistics related to this topic. I'm more interested to explore this. Look at this. Okay, I'm going deep into AI. I'm going deep into advanced automation because Amazon is looking for that, right? I'm going to find out the patterns and numbers here. Look at this. Forrester reports 71% of the enterprises are now experimenting with generative AI. Very nice. That means large language machine mod machine learning languages are prevalently used which is called LLM Chat GPD is LLM. Microsoft Copilot is LLM. Google Bard is LLM. Okay, the technology is not just nice to have but it is becoming a strategic priority expected to drive competitive advantage. Impact of UI Generative AI will assist designers to creating product interaction, improving user research, optimizing basic design elements based on user behavior. So you can do a small project in that to find out the gap and how you can able to execute it. Okay, look at this. Forester. Go to this Forester website. Understand this Generative AI what it means for design. See, somebody has written a blog article. I will tell you guys, if you are finding any kind of a relevant data for this particular role for this company, for this thing, you can ideally go and purchase the data. It will not be much expensive. $2, $3, $4, $5. You can able to pay. But make sure that insight is going to be super helpful for you.
Okay?
You don't have to read the entire market report. You don't have to subscribe for their entire things. No, don't do that. That is not what I'm asking. Try to understand from that. Okay, Maybe this guy has produced some kind of an input. Okay, Just follow this guy in LinkedIn. You can be little smarter in that way also. Who's this guy? David? True. Maybe we'll go to the LinkedIn we'll try to understand what is this guy saying? So he's writing a lot of articles about this information what Gen AI is going to do for the companies like this? Maybe this report is not available. What you can do is you can go for the LinkedIn profile of this guy okay and find this guy look similar photo, right? Forester Analyst of Tech design okay, just go and understand his articles. What is he trying Gen AI figma Gen AI from figma it's worth trying out now see some interesting article is there look okay what I'll do, I don't have time to read all of these things I just copy this and go to chat GPT okay, I found one interesting article about Gen AI for the next roles in tech based industry for UI UX and product design One guy has written a blog article Analyze this blog article and provide me the top insights and hook how I can able to talk to this person in LinkedIn analyze the 12 hooks and provide me which would really work better.
If.
You'Re even more smart and if you're using AI tools guys, you can create the 12 hooks as a ChatGPT prompt in a copy pasted while whenever you're putting information you can use this 12 hooks so that ChatGPT will provide you a proper message for you. You don't have to even break your head Much like this you can accelerate your job search process very very fast. Okay, the article of David Truk shows what is that he's Talking about Figma's AI feature AI InDesign early stage but promising. Okay, connecting with David Personalized connection message it is asking me engage with his content before reaching out. Engage with his content. See, it is providing me a conversation request a conversation, right? This is what I also tell you very important See because if you're just cold reaching these people, you will not get any reply. Okay, so try to understand what he's saying. What he's saying is I recently read your insightful article at Figma capabilities as a UI UX designer I'm more interested in exploring they'd love to connect with you to discuss about it, right? Mainly before going and understanding this, read the takeaways. What is he trying to say? He's trying to talk about automated text generation customer data for training Similar search Similar feature make design and make prototype this feature allows users to create draft designs, use simple language prompts and automatically generate interactive prototypes. This is very interesting point. So try and understand what is he trying to say? So this is how you can find out Lot of patterns guys. And he's also telling some annual growth rate by 15 percentage. 17 Percentage of the enterprises are adopting this. That means a huge vacancy is there for the tech based industries. And Forrester has also predicted that now you can be even more smarter. Now provide me the AI tech based industries for product design roles in Bangalore which is ideally suited for my attached codex. Now what you can do. You can attach your codex here. Chat GPT will analyze your codex. Find out the relevant statistics and information according to the industries. Whatever you're asking in Bangalore and it will provide you the output. Can somebody share me your codex document? We'll take from Punish. I think I have punish Codex document. Okay, listen to it. Where is this document? Guys, one second. I'm just pasting this information.
Okay.
I'm pasting three of his codex so that it will exactly analyze you. But ideally in your case your chat is already there. Don't use different different chats. Okay. Just. Just use that chat very carefully. Look the magic now. Seamans N. Phillips Innovation Sports Technology. Plio move in. You can apply for Figma also directly go and apply for Figma. Find out a guy who is working in Figma. Approach him, build a conversation. Start talking. That's it. Zoho Razorpay Zeta Wonderful industries. It is showing all these industries are doing extremely well now. All these industries are going to do extremely well in the future also. But it's your responsibility to bring that. Okay, so now how to make it? Give me a 31 day plan listing these industries each day. What I can able to use my strategy to create a conversational LinkedIn message to them and follow it up with them and then get hired.
Okay.
Based on my codex provide a 31 day time plan already. You can analyze my time inside this Codex plan which is my free time, which is my working time and provide a customized plan for it. These things you can easily give it because you're already. Your codex is filled with lot of information. Okay, wait wait, wait. Provide this output in a tabular column format. Look at this. So what it will happen is now it is very clear. These industries are there. These skill sets are required. So what you can do, what you are now going to do is the plan. Right? So this plan is going to be given by this, your copilot. Look at this. Your task, your strategy, your LinkedIn message. Your follow up action.
Okay.
It is giving you a 31 day career plan. But why it is like this? Oh okay fine. Philips Innovation. Plio Moving Figma Zoho Razorpay, mindtree AI Punish is there in this call. Punish, yesterday he was talking about Mind Tree innovation. Okay, so find out the recruiter who is from the Mind Tree. Okay? Not from the outside people. Try to find out the people who is in the Mind Tree. It is perfectly aligning to your codex already. When I'm just giving you a rough idea for Punish, but everybody can relate it to your experience.
Okay?
And once the Mind Tree is available or Infosys or whatever, wipro or anything, then you can go and approach these people. Take 3, 3 people or 5. 5 people from each of these industries. Much people are there 30 industries are there 30 into five. How much? 150 per day. If you take 30 people in next how much days in next 10 days you can able to reach all of this 150 people. Okay, if you're reaching 30, 30 people per day, next day you'll have to follow this 30 people. Also engage in their comments, build a conversation, ask for a phone call, zoom call. Ask for the insights, ask for their suggestion. Then ask for any kind of a job vacancies there. Then you can ask for reference. If you found that that person is not having so much of data, then search for the other person. Simple. And don't ask any kind of a premature referral for these people. First try to understand the data from this industries. Try to go very deep and understand why is this people are telling this there itself. You can shortlist whether this industry is really good for you or not. See, there is an industry called Fractal analytics. Okay, it's. It's based in Noida. I know this industry. If you find talking to those employees or some designers out there, rightly currently there is no project available for them. You don't even have to ask for anything. You can just collect the information and build that trust and relationship of that person. Maybe in the future you can help this person or you can also get help from that person. See, ultimately LinkedIn is to connect people, right? So get their data, store it, start talking to them. In fact there is a podcast also. Recently I've recorded how you can create a database for your contacts in LinkedIn in WhatsApp or broadcast message. You can take which people you find more interesting and relevant when you talk. You can send them some seasonal greetings. You can share some interesting blog article once in a week or once in a month to them. Just get a touch base with them. Hi Srinivas, we interacted last week about a particular industry called Fractal analysis. I Can see that you are also very active in LinkedIn. I thought this this article may be very useful for you. Kindly read this. Just message them. You can put a generalized message in broadcast. Like let's say in your broadcast There are 50 people, okay? They will thank you for your message. They will say hi for you. They will interact with you. Sooner or later they may come back and say hey, we have some vacancies. Are you interested? You are asking for role last month. Right now there is a vacancies I've seen in my company. You never know. This may come and you will be surprised if that person refers you. You will have 100 times more chance than going and reaching out a cold market. This is the power of networking. This is the power of understanding. This is the power of follow up.
Okay?
It is not about finding out these industries. It is about going and taking forward to convert this as an interview. This is what is the entire thing what I am trying to say. Okay, so now you have seen the power of data, guys. Now we have seen the power of finding out statistics. Please go and reflect on these learnings. I would highly, highly recommend you go and reflect on this information. Okay? Use the tools which I'm going to tell you. So should I give you the tools, guys? Can I give it for everybody? I will not give for everybody. I'll only give for the people. Today whoever is going to approach for 20 to 30 people and showing me that at least two to three people have replied. You provide me that screenshot, I will send this 25 list of industries and sorry, 25 list of tools which is going to help you accelerate your job search process. Yeah, I told you about Forrester, Statist, all these things. But I'm going to give you a list of 25 industries also along with the hyperlinks for that as a gift. But that's only for the people. Whoever is taking action because I don't want people to randomly take it. They will not use it for sure. I want people who are with that intention.

Even people are watching in the YouTube live stream. I'm telling you, you can able to get it but by showing the intention that you are superbly applying for it.
Okay?
And also come for our webinar which is going to happen on November3. We are going to have a very big webinar called Design Verse. Okay, how many of you like the last Sunday webinar? Five Elements of Design. How many of you are really liking that concept? Five Elements of Design. Who came for that webinar actually could you raise your hands please. I think our people have majorly come. Yes, yes, yes, yes, Kalai. Yes, yes. So the point here is many people have enjoyed that webinar. The reason being this is first time in the industry nobody has that kind of a concept for teaching design through five elements of Pancha Buddha, right? They call so come for that. In fact we are going to add lot more things in the design verse. We are bringing a special guest as well. I highly, highly invite you. And also this webinar will be paid for sure. It is not a free webinar. Maybe in some creative boosters call in the morning. I'll create a small window for you people who are registering in that window. Maybe you'll get free of cost or else it will be like 99 or 199. I'm not sure that some money will be there because that's a. That's a very long workshop. It's a six hours workshop. We are splitting that session into two, three, three hours, something like that. So it is going to be a massive value for you. End of this workshop you will be able to independently operate yourself to that level of clarity. People are going to get. Okay, this is for the outside people also, but for our people. Wait guys, I'm going to give you a very special gap and opening so that you can register for free. Okay? Not now. I'll give you the link in the coming creative booster session. And Insta Financials, Uber Suggest, Euler Semrush, Jobscan Indeed Pitchbook built with Market Watch Gartner Insights. So I would say you can experiment all these tools one by one and find out at least 500 to 1000 industries which is relevant for you. Maybe in your codex you would have found out only 50 industries.
Right.
But if you use these tools, your entire search strategy will go widened. You will have every day people calling you for the interview because you would have gone to the detail of it.
