Day 45-100X Creativity for Designers-100 Days 100 Skill Booster Sessions

Jagadeesh P teaches designers how to boost creativity using mind mapping and the SCAMPER method, grounded in neuroscience insights. The session includes practical exercises and interactive problem-solving to strengthen creative thinking for career growth.
Minute.
Yes.
Welcome to this day 44 guys. In fact it is day 45. I guess 43. 44. I think it's 45. Yes. We are in the day 45 and we are going to see something very interesting skill. This skill is actually very, very common and lot of people know about this but we have not consciously taken efforts to practice it. That is the reason we are specifically teaching you this skill set.
Okay.
It is called improving your creativity to a next level. Like that means 100x faster. At least 100x faster. The reason why I was actually telling you this is being a designer. It is expected that you are exhibiting the creativity skills within you whether you are liking it or not. Like let's say jagdish. I don't want to. I mean I don't like the skill minimum. I mean like I have a minimum set of skill set. So that is like enough for me. You cannot, cannot tell that. The reason being it's a mandatory requirement. If you tell like if you like it or not that it's not about a personal liking, it is about a mandatory requirement being a designer.
Okay.
So that's the reason I'm teaching you as a skill. And also this exercises what I'm going to give you. Kindly practice it. If you're not able to practice it, you won't be able to master this one.
Okay.
So that's the whole objective of going about this. Just a second. I'm. I'm just pasting the link also for our people so that people who wanted to join later also they can come and join. Just a second, just a second.
Yeah.
We are live.
Okay, fine.
So let me share my screen and yes, so can you see my screen? So we are in the day 45. It is all about improving your creativity to 100x faster. Okay, so how do you do that? First of all, what is the skill about? Let me explain you quickly. This skill is particularly involved compared to any other field. The reason being we can able to innovate some difference out of other people. See engineering field also has problem solving. Any other field, let's say if you take accounting, let's say if you take business management. Every everybody has this kind of a creativity. But in itself this field is creative on hold at that particular field. Like let's say engineering business people apply certain problem solving or maybe innovativeness to that extent. But in this particular product design or creative design field we see the entirety in a more creative way. We even question the brief. Why is this problem a particular problem? Why can't we even think about it in a longer run, like why not this way? Why not the other way around? So the way in which we question and we take this is much more different. That is the reason we are actually very proud of. And also we have a lot of leverage to what you call to talk with many people in that sense. And we are also getting the maximum leverage out of it. Like the creative difference what we make is going to change the entire business portfolio in a different way. Business is already being built. The business model, the structure, the product, the service, everything has been built. But you as a designer, when you add a creative flavor to it, you tend to attract a very, very different market. And the company CEO is not able to see that. The other employees are not able to see that, but because they're thinking very linear and narrow. And you are doing it in a far more different way. The reason being you are more creative. And today you're going to learn how you can start becoming more creative towards that. Okay, so drives new ideas and problem solving, which I told you already, it is the most essential point to stand out in the interview. A lot of people think in the interview, how do people really test this? See, if you are a creative designer, it is expected that you exhibit some kind of a creativity skill around you. What happens if you don't do it? So like monotonously, everybody can come and solve the same problem, right? Then why are you needed in that business? So you will have to really stand out by showcasing that in the interview.
Okay?
And also career growth leads to impactful project. And going forward, any damn industry is possible. Guys, it's not about this industry, that industry, okay? It's like vital for everything. So what is this concept about? More than a talent skill developed through practice? Yes, this is what I wanted to highlight. See all of you type out in the chat box practice. Because creativity is not about some magical skill you learn once and go. No, it's all about continuously. You are in the process. So type out practice in the chat box practice. Because creativity is all about being practicing again and again and again until the habit locks. Okay, so what are the stages of creativity like? Let's say in a nutshell, people say like you'll have to prepare, incubate, insight, evaluate, elaborate. But there is no way to do it because you can do it in a raw. You can do it in a very insane way also. No problem. But I'm going to show you some methods how we can create.
Okay?
Instead of telling you the stages, I will tell you how we can able to go in multiple methods in order to bring a lot of creativity across your career in a creative in your design field.
Okay, yeah.
It is majorly used for user centric design problem solving. That's what we typically know already. Okay, so importance of the skill. 84% of the business executives prioritize innovation for growth. Harvard Business Review that means the businesses are now changing like never before. There is a recent article which I did in Nielsen Norman Group which said industries who are adopting this creative problem solving approach, they are making 3x revenues compared to the other competitors in fact in the same arena. So creative problem solving is a must in all the industries. You will have to understand that whether you like it or not. Creative ex exercises boost satisfaction by 20% Journal of Applied Cognitive Psychologies look, it is for ourselves we need to understand this. 72% of hiring managers prefers creativity. Adobe has said that that means creativity is expected. That's why in your portfolio, in your communication, in your problem solving, in your explanation, show something where you applied the skill also conventionally. I thought of bringing this as a solution. But after I applied the creativity method like this, I'm able to innovate this. See, so you're showing the difference and then you're making that whole thing work for you.
So.
So that is very important. You'll have to demonstrate with the project to understand about it.
Okay?
That's the whole thing about it. What are the statistics and relevant information? Ranked third most important future skill by World Economic Forum. How many of you do not know this? This is the most Most important skill. 3rd Most important skill of the future by World Economic Forum. There is a book called 20th Century 21st Century Skills. Please go and read that. You will see the creativity popping at the top. Okay, what are the interview outcomes? 60% of the hiring rate for. For the showcasing creative process. You get 60% chance more when you show that creativity in you. So I wanted to ask you one question, guys. How many projects you have in your portfolio which is showcasing maximum creativity of your work? Can you tell me the project name if you don't have type? No, that's totally fine if you are yet to start or maybe if you're yet to what you call put something brand new. But if you already have a project, you think you did a very good creative work there. Like let's say Surendra. I can say he did one productivity. Creative people are getting creative stuck. Right Surendra? You did one project, right? You did a live project. I can recollect that. So Surendra is One of our students, he did the project live like why people are getting creatively stuck. So you have already innovated something in that project, right? And. And every project I'm saying you for Subhash Jain, Nandini Hasten. Whoever has this, they will have some kind of a problem solving. So today kindly go back and think about what else you could have added creativity in your project. I'm going to give you certain methods. Okay. Go and apply that. By applying that, if you ask right questions, you'll be able to get the answer.
Okay.
See whatever is your other work, watching Silver membership course filling, Codex that is a part of it Skill booster session helps you to hang on to certain skill and keep on practicing it. If you feel this skill is needed for you must please go and practice it again and again and again. You will have to find a time to practice the same. If you're not able to do it, what happens is you'll be learning only, but the practice will be very very less.
Okay.
So try to improve that. And that is the only ask which I'm making.
Okay.
Yes. And I. I'm not telling you that in the hundred skills, whatever we are teaching in this program, it's not required for every designer. It's not mandatory to learn everything. You will have to choose at least three to four skill initially and become master of that again and again and again and practice it. Some of the skills will be soft skills. Some of the skills will be hard skills. Soft skills are like very, very mandatory hard skills. You can choose whether you wanted to go deep into UX research or deep into ideation or deep into like let's say empathy mapping or you're very deep into prototyping. So you can decide whatever skill you wanted to go very deep. But soft skills is not like that. It is must understanding the interview requirement, talking clearly, communication, what you call leadership ability. These are like the very, very soft skills which people needs to have. Writing goals every single day. Writing, gratitude. These are all the habits, these are all mandatory things. Do not change this part. Okay, I'm repeating you again. Good. So yeah, I already told you 60% you have the chance of higher interview prefrontal cortex and temporal loes active during creative thought. This is very, very evident and very interesting. Guys, people who are attending our classes, they will know what is mean by prefrontal cortex and what is mean by amygdala.
Okay.
Prefrontal cortex is responsible for our creativity inside our brain. Very, very simple.
Okay.
Like let's say if I'm asking you to solve a problem for a particular situation. When you thought of like let's say thinking about it, creatively solving it, what happens? Your prefrontal cortex is filled with lot of blood oxygen, sugar, everything. You will feel so happy. You will feel like helping others, you'll feel like contribution, you'll feel so happy. But when you are in an amygdala, which is the opposite of it, which is animal nature of it, you will be in a flight or flight response. That means if somebody comes and scolds you like, let's say, hey, you're fit for nothing. Hey, you can't do this. You react like, hey, how come you're telling me like this? That is called amygdala behavior. Animal behavior.
Okay?
We have two behavior inside us. One is that creativity, calm state of mind. Another is the animal nature. Okay, don't tell we don't have it. Every human has this. Whatever you practice a lot, it will become more of you, very simple. So if you want to improve the creativity part of it, you will have to use the prefrontal cortex more the temporal lobes, prefrontal cortex. And you will have to improve your blood oxygen supply to this guy often. That is why when you write gratitude, you get that. When you write goals, you get that. Because you see the future, you see the possibility in next one year I'm getting 15 LPA by working in this kind of an organization. What happens if you write like that? Your prefrontal cortex will be filled with lot of blood oxygen sugar. So that particular part of the brain starts activating. So what your brain will do is it will go and find out what are all the creative ways I can able to help Subhash, I can able to help Jainandini or I can able to help Surendra to go and reach that goal. Your mind will constantly ask this question. That is the science which is happening background of your brain.
Okay?
So it activates a lot of your temporal lobes and making it very creative throughout the process. This is by cognitive Neuroscience Journal has particularly said this insight. Okay, so now you know all the insights and everything, right? Let's come to the method. Please make a note of it guys. Very, very important. Mind mapping. What does mean by mind mapping? See, mind mapping is actually putting your thoughts just like that raw, right? It's very simple. It's not a. It's not a very. What you call g boomba. Like a magical skill where only people, only certain people know this. No, it's not like that. Okay, I'll open a. I'll open Up a new board when I have not used this tool, guys. But let me try how this is really working, okay? Just trying it out. Whether it will work or not, I'm not sure.
Okay, fine.
Let me first explain you the concepts. Okay, so Mind Map is all about visual brainstorming and interconnecting the ideas. Like, let's say if you have something in your mind, you're just writing it idea one, idea two, idea three, idea four. And then you're trying to connect some kind of a dots inside it.
Okay?
So that's all about mind mapping. The tools what you can use, you can use Miro. You can use Mind Node. You can use InVision.
Okay?
You can use something like this. There is another tool like let's say figjam.
Okay?
And there is a tool called Mindmeister. People, people, if you're using Windows, please use this tool. This is a Beautiful tool, guys. MindMeister. Okay, people are using Mac. They can use Mind Node. I'm using Mind Node.
Okay?
You can see the Mind Node has an excellent graphics and flexibility. And you can add icons also, like, let's say if I wanted to some kind of emoji or icons to it, I can able to do it. Look at this. Like, let's say this is what tools, right? If I have to write some kind of a tools. If I have to put like I can type tools. See, look, Tools is coming. See, tools has come, right? So if I have to explain you what is tools, like I can able to tell you something like this. See, I'm just copying it. I'm just pasting it. It came as a mind node.
Okay?
So this is like connecting different, different ideas. Like let's say if I'm. Just a second, guys. Just a second. Big jam. Mind Meister.
Okay.
It is fine. It is coming now. So if I have to connect the dots, like let's say, how do I give this connection? See, this is a way to connect the dots, right? Like, let's say if you have something like inside the Mind Node, it is more flexible. If you wanted to write. See, now you can able to see this is connected, right? So you know how the Mind Node works. That means inside your brain. Also, when you're trying to connect some ideas, you can also draw some patterns and work. It's very simple, normal tool, okay? If you wanted to connect through an arrow, like let's say if I have to connect some dots for it, Miro is connected to Mindmeister. I can do this.
Okay?
There is a connectivity between Miro and Mindmeister. If I want to explain you so like this, when you use some basic simple tools, you will be able to get far more comfortable with using that.
Okay?
And there is another tool called sketching. Very, very, very, very super tool. Always have a notepad pen with you guys. See, I'll tell you one thing. If you are a designer, you need to have a very good sketchbook with you. Just a second, I'll show you my sketchbook. Can you see here? Your creativity is utmost when you have the tools with you right now. Okay, see I have the sketch pens, I have the pencil, I have the pen. So I have everything with me right now. The reason being anytime if I get some kind of an idea, I'll be able to execute it. Like let's say if I have to draw something, I'll just open this. See, you can have something like this. You can have a little medium sized notebook also not a problem. It's totally, totally up to you how you however you wanted to go. Like let's say if you, if you can draw it, if you can explain it, if you can make it. Okay, this is a great idea. Okay, let me go for it. Okay, fine. This is not working. So you can draw something very, very rough, random and you can able to easily put it in your notepad and leave. Because creativity should be documented. Ideas should be documented. If you're not documenting, you will not get again. This is time dated. There is something called super conscious brain inside superconscious mind inside our brain. Sometimes it will produce you very crazy ideas and it will not come again. That is why when you're thinking, you'll have to document it. Always have this kind of a sketch pen. Okay, so ask me. This is a very good brand which I've got, I got long back. It's a copic. It's a little expensive brand, but you can definitely invest because this is for your future. This is for your education. Don't be cheap on investing for your education. I'll tell you again, the reason being these tools will definitely help you. See, you can also use these markers to sketch, to draw. You can use some wire frames. You can use some kind of what you call medium fidelity, low fidelity sketches. You can make it here. If you're a product designer, you can use for product sketching. So you can improve your sketching ability by using the right tools. So you see, like I have this charcoal pencil, Charcoal pencil can able to give you a thick, what you call borderline. And I have this different shades of HB2H3H all these pencils. Staedtler is an excellent brand. You can see that. Okay, Staedtler is an excellent brand. You can go and purchase, I don't know like whether you are able to see it. Okay. But anyway go and purchase this one. Staedtler, Staedtler pens also you can get Staedtler pencils. Also you can get by the Scopic for sketch pen markers. Like yeah, it will be little expensive. But the thing is I've got it in Germany. It's like three, four years. It's super solid. Still I'm using it. The reason being in my office also a lot of people ask, hey, where did you get? Where did you get? Because the quality is exceptionally high when you buy substandard quality, you will have to buy again and again and again. In silver membership courses itself. I told you to get certain notebooks, pens and all these things. Right? So kindly do order it and do and purchase it. My mentor used to always say don't be cheap on a journey towards greatness because tools are very important. See, I'm also going to purchase a tool which is Mind Node, which is for me in a premium way.
Okay.
Which is like not very expensive. 2500 rupees per year. It's okay for a Mind Node tool if you have to invest that much. Yeah, it is. Okay. But the thing is the flexibility, what it offers is very, very huge. So same like that. I'm not asking you to purchase any tools. I'm asking you to purchase some tools which is physically required for you. A very good, high quality tool. If you are staying in Chennai and in and around, there is a place called Hindustan. Hindustan Traders.
Okay.
It's in, it's in Myur, it's in northern part of Chennai. That is the only shop you'll get all these things. Other shop, other things you'll have to order in Amazon only you, you won't be able to get it. Okay and just a second guys. Just a second, just a second.
Okay.
Superb. So that is the tools part. Whatever I'm trying to say. Okay, but let me come back to the drawing board. Just a second guys. Where are we?
Okay.
Okay, fine. So this is how you start working on it.
Okay.
Miro is a very simple tool. InVision is a very simple tool. Use your Google account to create some kind of what you call a free account and start working on this. These are all like very, very simple, easy tools.
Okay?
Daily sketching, I told you routine sketching to build your thinking visual skill. If you take sketching like let's say use prompt for consistent practice. The prompts is like let's say Let me draw five lines today. Let me draw 10 circles today. Try to draw with circles. Try to draw with lines. These are all like a basic things. What you can start sketching when you are have. Like let's say if a. If a guy goes and gives this to another person and you. You try to explain that through an idea. It's very vital for you to first put it down in a paper. If people wanted to see your creativity, they will have to first see what you're thinking, right? So to express your creativity, sketching is a tool which you can able to emphasize it.
Okay.
Second, called role playing. You can also emphasize by adopting some user perspectives. You can also explain your creative idea through that. See, you can create some Personas. You can simulate some Personas also. And you can able to play around with that. It's a great idea. Then there is a technique called scamper. This is a beautiful technique. Guys. See if you are having some kind of an idea. See inside shall membership course. I've explained this very detailed. This camper is a beautiful method when you're having some kind of an idea. Like let's say. Like let's say I'll show you one picture, guys. Okay, so you guys can able to give me some kind of a rational. What is. Sorry guys, just a second.
Okay.
Like let's say if I. Okay, I'm just showing you a picture of dustbin. Okay, let's take this. Let's take this example. It's not coming.
Okay.
Okay, let's take this example. So can you now tell me. Let's say if you don't have. My screen is not visible, right? Just a second. Okay, so like let's say if you don't have dustbin with you instead if I'm asking you to design something alternate for dustbin, what will you design? Tell me, can you give ideas? I'll give you one minute time. Think about it. I want everybody to think about it. If, let's say if you're eliminating dustbin from our house, how will you. How will you. How will you solve that problem? Forget that dustbin is there in your world, okay? Forget that. Erase it from your mind. Come on, think, think, think. And type. Trashback. That's good. What else? What else? I want at least 10 ideas from you guys. Trash bag is one idea. Good box. It's. It's already a box as dustbin is already a container, right? See, don't don't have this physical container storage in your mind. Think something else outside the box. Come on. Surender Subhash Hasnen. Think about it. Type of. Type of. I want bucket. So you're going to use your house bucket as this one? That's what you're trying to say?
Okay.
But think more. Think more. It's not exactly very apt.
Okay.
See, we've been always seeing this in our everyday to day life, right? So that's why it's very hard for us to remove this from our mind. But consciously. We'll have to try it now. Think about it. Think about it. Come on, try. Guys, at least try some answers. We have to rename it or redefine its purpose. You can redefine this. Purpose is not the point. The purpose of this is to store trash and everything, right? And we are using this for a very long time. Can you. Can you solve it in some other way? Trash is generated. Please understand that dustbin is a one way which we have been stuck for a very longer time. How else we can able to manage this waste system? I'm not asking how else we can able to store this waste. Then you design another container. That's what people tell, right? Understand my question very carefully. Think about how we can solve it in an alternate way. See, I would give you one answer.
Okay.
But again, don't get stuck to this answer what I'm telling you. I can. I can design all of the products in the home which is completely biodegradable. So this need not have to be collected as a waste at all. You can just throw it outside. It becomes biodegradable. Simple one solution. Second, what else I can tell. Like let's say build a biotrash tank. Yeah, that's a great idea. Tank is also a great idea. Again, why the tank is coming in mind. Okay, fine. No problem. Anyway, just think about it. It's a great start. Subhash, that is how you start. Think about something else. Like let's say there is nothing called a dustbin concept. Whenever waste comes, what happens is I'll be putting it in the middle of the street so that the municipality corporation takes away. There is no dustbin in my home. That could be also an idea, right? It's a systemic idea. It's not a product level idea. It's a little systemic idea. Like let's say we'll have a collector at the start of our house where we'll be going and throwing the dustbin. So the thing is, in house there is no dustbin. Available at all. Zero dustbin, nothing.
Okay.
And also consciously, I'll buy things which doesn't produce any kind of output. Like let's say if I have to peel the onion, if the onion shell goes to waste, I will not consider that as a waste. I'll put it in the soil. If I'm able to use the vegetable waste, I will put it for my plants as an organic manure. I will not throw it as a waste. See, think about not only coming out of dustbin, think about the root cause of why the waste is happening. This is how you. You go very deep and become creative to solve that problem. Machine to burn all the waste. How? Sanitary pads are burned in school bathrooms. Yes. So you are suggesting we can have that in our home, right? That's great. That's a. That's a great idea. See, Viable, not viable. Costly not costly. That is not the point for us. It's just an idea. Okay, so how we can able to use this camper? I'll tell you guys. First of all, substitute.
Okay?
When you're thinking an idea, you can able to substitute this. Like let's say instead of dustbin, can I substitute with something else? That is called substitution way of thinking. Right? Like people have said bucket, so has nine is thinking in a substitute way. Ok, that is one way of thinking. Next, combine. Okay. Why don't I combine this dustbin with another product which can also like let's say dustbin combined with the. This incinerator. Right? The machine to burn your waste. Yeah, that could be. See, you are combining two things. Problem is solved. For me, the objective is met. Right? I am using different way. Because if you think just like that for an idea, you will not get it. But when you use this camper method, these are like very proven method, guys.
Okay?
It is a. It is a. It is a wonderful method. I would. I would suggest you to go and try it out.
Okay.
First is called substitute.
Okay.
Second is called combine.
Okay.
Next is called addition. Why don't we add. Can we add this product? Can we add this product with another product and also create a different product together? Like let's say modularity. Right? Like let's say if you take any kind of a product, how do I explain you Modularity. I don't have anything in front of me right now. But yeah, I can take this charger. Like let's say the charger is modular. Look at this. If I have to take this charger outside, I can able to plug this out. I can carry it separately. I can put the wires I. Then I can connect it. If I. If I keep it like this way for traveling, what happens is the wire bends and it breaks in the travel, right? So I can able to easily remove it. It. It's a modular. This is called adding charger. Wire is a product. Adapter is a product. Now I'm adding people who are thinking about it. Like let's say in travel, my charger is breaking. In travel, my charger is breaking. What do I do? What do I do? People can able to come up with this idea. This is called addition.
Okay?
Yes. C A.
Okay.
Multiply. This is wonderful. What do you mean by multiply? Come on guys. Can you tell me what is mean by multiply? Multiply is actually. Just a second. Sorry sir. Not multiply. Modify. I totally forgot. Modify. Modify in the sense the existing idea. What you have creativity also inside. Okay, this is one act, one example. I am giving you a little detail. But there are hundreds of creative methods available, guys. You can try it out something. I will also tell you certain methods. But one I am going little deeply so that you can also understand it.
Okay?
How you can able to modify the existing one. That's what majority of the people do. Okay, Next is put to use. This is very very interesting, guys. Like let's say modify and how we can able to put to use. Can I use it in an alternate way? What are the other ways I can able to use this particular dust? B nest. Okay, what are the other method which I can able to eliminate this waste? As if you think ask this question, you will get more ideas. Next is eliminate. I talked about elimination. Why do we need dustbin at all? Not required. We can just throw it in the road. Or maybe we can throw it in the soil. It automatically biodegrades. Simple. That's also a way to think about it.
Okay.
Reverse. Reverse is little technical, guys. Reverse is little tricky to understand. So some of the actions in my life is producing this dustbin, right? Why don't I. Why don't I reverse engineer it? Why don't I go reverse thinking? Like let's say in order to produce the waste, I am using certain products and I am getting the waste right Once if I am doing some activity which is making me eliminate the waste. Like let's not eliminate. I would say, like let's say if you are using certain products, I will give you a very, very good example for you to understand this, okay? Like let's say if you're. If you're having certain gas towel, okay. Having certain gas stove I'm going to use whatever waste is coming out of this. If I put it in that gas towel, it doesn't require any kind of a fuel. It automatically burns. Using that waste, what you're giving it produces the food. Can you think we have exactly reversed it? We have used the waste in order to create something new for our supply chain. This is called reverse thinking. So only one example I gave you guys does mean you can use all of these methods. Whatever you want, you can able to.
Okay?
Which is called E. So S C A M, P, E R. You can able to remember this guys camper every time. It will be very, very useful for you when you are able to apply this method in a proper way.
Okay?
Many times what happens is people don't understand. People don't apply this consciously. That is the reason people don't use it in an effective way.
Okay?
But when you remember this guys, it will be very, very, very, very helpful for you. It's a, it's a proven method. Very, very, very, very important.
Okay?
Please make a note of it. And next is design thinking workshops. You can collaborate with your ideators. Rapid prototyping. You can do all these things. You can do visualization technique. All these things are fine. But this is the most, most favorite, guys. Okay, so think about it. Fine. So next is practical tips and tricks. I'll tell you certain practical tips and tricks, guys.
Okay?
You can use limitless journaling. That means you can take a book or notebook like this. You can write some stories, you can write some product ideas. Why did I ask you to document one idea per day? Because your creativity starts flourishing. People who are following the habits properly in our program, they will know this is the most most important skill.
Okay?
Even though sometimes it is unrelated, please don't write it. The reason being it will all connect the dots later. That's called creativity. Thinking too much rationally in writing is not called creativity.
Okay?
Gamifying your process. Turn ideas into a playful activity. You can turn your entire ideas into a playful activity. Gamify create point system. Same like how we have points in our program, right? Reverse brainstorming. Think of design failures. Then reverse for the solution. See, many methods are there, guys. It's totally up to you how you want it to go.
Okay, so.
One hour rapid ideation. Prototyping you can have right now. We know we cannot have, but I'm telling you we can have one hour rapid ideation. That means in 60 minutes, how much ideas can you produce? We had in our last batch, we did a 30 minutes ideation we were able to generate close to 200 to 300 ideas. 30 minutes. The point is if a time is there, if a time bound subconscious program you are giving your mind will think very very fast. If I ask you what is the idea? You will give you only one idea. That's it. See how people have typed in the chat box? Only one idea.
Right?
But if I ask you, you have to find 20 ideas in 20 minutes. Automatically your mind will program to do it. Definitely it will do. And I've did with hundreds of students. It's a very proven method.
Okay.
Very simple. And next is sketch and share. Draw 10 solutions in 10 minutes to peer feedback. This is also a great way. But the point here, what I wanted to highlight is your prefrontal context really improves a lot. That much I clearly know about it.
Okay.
I don't know what it is. DM N. I forgot this. There is a institute name or some kind of a. I don't know what is that? I'll let you know. Okay, not a problem. Fine. So there are a lot of case studies available. I can say like Arab Creative Jam and you can see that focus on rapid ideation with peer review. And the outcome of this is like 30% boost in creativity. It was reported by a participant. There is a tool called Adobe Creativity Creative Jam. Guys, you can go and explore that. You can watch some case studies Also in the YouTube and Google you can read blogs and people have written that what they've reported is by applying this creativity, 30% boost in creativity happened for the participants. And this is a lesson learned like the structured peer review exercise enhances your creative thinking process. So this is all about going forward. Okay, so now it's time for you to take a screenshot guys. Okay, I'm going to show you something very very interesting for you. These are all the methods which I have researched it out to help you guys out to do excellent creative activities. Okay, first is you can find rapid ideation exercise. 10 minutes brainstorming session and user problem. Please make a note of it. Write in your notepad 1, 2, 3, 4 and do it.
Okay.
Second use scenario creation. You can do a role playing like let's say how this particular person will solve this problem. How he can able to come and understand and solve this problem. So think about in their mind user empathy and then try to solve a problem. You'll be more creative. Okay. Role play as a different Personas to explore diverse ideas enhancing creativity for. Okay, this is not the point. Okay, Rapid Problem Solving Challenge 15 minutes Group Ideation Session for user centric solution. You can do it alone. Also guys, you can switch on your timer in your mobile. 15 minutes. Let me focus on creating ideas. Like let's say this dustbin. I gave you an example. You can talk about, let's say describe it. Let's say what is the description. You can say how I can able to eliminate the dustbin and still solve the problem. You can write a description. Second you can ask how can I do it? One, how can I do it? Can I use this way? Can I use that way? 10 minutes, 15 minutes. Switch on your timer and only think about it. Don't get distracted. Switch off your mobile, use some other timer. Don't get distracted by these calls, notification, all these things. Just focus, focus, focus the moment. When you are focusing it rapidly, you will be able to solve a problem.
Okay.
It promotes faster thinking and teamwork. The outcomes will be extraordinary. Guys, because I did it live with our students. Don't worry, we'll do it in the coming hackathon missions. But I'll help you with that.
Okay?
It builds your confidence. People who are thinking jagdish, I'm not able to get ideas. I got stuck. They have exorbitantly produced tens and twenties of ideas in just ten minutes. That is the power of doing it.
Okay.
Then there is something called collaborative storyboarding. What is that? Each student adds a frame to user journey. Everybody solves the same problem. They add some kind of a creativity add to a different, different journey. How I can able to fix this? Like let's say if in your entire user journey I'll also add a sticky note saying hey, this can be done like this way. A creative idea is added there. Then Subhash will come and add something. Then Jain and will add something collectively. When you see, you will see a lot of creativity coming onto it. This is called adding frames to your storyboard. This is an excellent collaborative workshop. What we have inside our design studio, we used to have something like people used to write their ideas and pass it to others. People used to write their ideas, pass it to others. If 10 designers are there, we used to pass it, practice it. That's it. Okay, I'll just export as a PDF for you so that you can have a like let's say creative ideation. 10 creative ideation techniques.
Okay.
Please use it guys for yourself. It will be super, super helpful for you guys. Fine. So I'm pasting that in our chat box. Not chat box, in our group itself so that you guys can download it. Okay. Just let Me know if you are able to download it. Can you. Can you see that is coming with the full clarity? Guys, can you check your group? I'm pasting another link also check both.

If you have suggestion, please do reach out to me. I'm more than happy to take that feedback and I will definitely improve on it. Not a problem. Because I am also more inclined towards improving it in further sessions.
Okay.
Because for each and every skill. We used to teach the concept, we used to tell the science background and we used to give the live activity and the AI tools and final call to action. That's how we plan it. Okay but if you guys want something else also just let me know we can able to plan it and add it in a more creative way because your input is going to be helpful for us. Okay fine yes so please complete that review and then you can leave this call.
