Okay, all the best for you. Okay guys, we will start the session now. And yeah, welcome to all of you. Welcome to the skill booster session. So we are in the day, 64 guys. So we've been completed seven, 10 weeks actually, which is like nine weeks, I would say it is completely 63 different skill sets we have learned so far in this particular session. And also I wanted to tell you that we've been covering lot more skills like let's say starting from product sketching and research and interview skills and everything. So today we are going to have something very, very interesting skill. But this is more of like, let's say, I would say a learning perspective for core designers. If you are a fresher, just observe this content, no problem. But if you are a designer, this is a very, very mandatory skill. Because if you are inside the industry, this is ultimately a required skill for you. Maybe for a fresher, this may not be pretty much expected as a skill. But if you are at least three to six months or one year experience designer, this is, this is a mandatory skill. Okay? So this is called accessibility at WCAG guidelines. Okay. Website content accessibility guidelines. So a lot of people might know what is mean by accessibility. A lot of people have a little understanding. But today we are going to break down very, very easily. Okay, so let me share my screen. Just a second. Can you confirm whether my screen is visible? Yes. J. Can you help me one thing like let's say can you copy this link and put it in a group? Is that okay? I'll be also pasting all the best for you. Okay, just a second, just a second. Let me also put this in the other groups as well so that other people can also join. That's the reason. Just give me one minute, okay? Okay. Yes. So we can start the content now. Fine. So accessibility basics at WCAG guidelines. Okay. See, a lot of people may not have a bigger understanding towards it. Pay close attention because each and every point, whatever I'm going to tell you, you have to first note it down. Maybe it may make sense or maybe it may not, but it takes little time for you guys to understand and get along. Okay, fine. So with that context, I'm just starting this first, let's understand why is this kind of a concepts existed. Okay? See, it helps you understand the accessibility in design. So what does mean by accessibility? I just wanted to ask you from your side in a general way, what is accessible? Can you guys tell me what is mean by accessible? The word, the meaning of the word. I'm not asking the technical design Meaning. But general meaning of accessibility. Can anybody tell me? I type out in the chat box, what is accessibility? People are watching the YouTube live as well. Okay, that's great. Okay, design for everyone. That is common. Okay, design for everyone is common. Like let's say you, you. Can you try one more time? You are a little bit closer, but it's not exactly closer. But yeah, can you try one more? Okay. Okay. Including the disability. Yeah, that is okay. I understand that everyone. But what is. I mean, I'll talk to you. I mean separately. Okay, don't worry about it. Just listen to the class. Thank you. Yeah. Okay, so first of all, what is this? WCAG guidelines Accessible. That's not different. But first of all, we'll have to understand what is mean by accessibility. See, accessibility is how easy people can access. That's it. Whether disability people are using common people are using. That is different. We are talking about how easy you can access. For example, like let's say if you have a. If you have a screw. Listen to me very carefully guys, okay? Open in the hand. Similarly, people will also feel difficult to read the content or watch the. Watch the information and see the colors and get the meaning. Okay? So that is the basic understanding of usability. It improves the experience of older adults, temporary disabled people, users and non native speakers. For everybody it should be there. So the screwdriver should be designed for all more accessible. See, accessibility is a part of design. We can't ignore that. But accessibility. Complaining to the WCAG guideline? Yes, that is the most important thing what we are discussing. Let's go into the concept now. Okay? See, concept is very simple, guys. There are four principles of WCAG available. Listen to me very carefully. See, maybe for the people who are watching, brand new. Just observe it, okay? Don't put so much of thought process. Just observe it. There are four principles in wcag. If you understand this, you can easily grasp it. First is perceivable. Second is operable. Third is understandable. Fourth is robustness. Okay, Jagdish. I want to make it for all. Everybody has to use my product. How? This is the four ways. So what does mean by perceivable? I think in the name itself you can able to understand very easily what is perceivable. User must perceive the information presented clearly. Very simple. It's a fair direct answer. Let's say if you put alt text for images. Screen reader compatibility. Like let's say if the person is visually blind, even if they click the button, they can able to hear the screen reader screen and they will know. Okay, this is a picture of a mountain with a person standing. See you covered for the blind people, normal people also cover. Did you guys get it? First point perceivable. Have you seen in every picture there is something called alt text. Next time go to when you write a blog article, when you do anything, just click the picture. Even in the word document. PPT is something called alt text. That means this is all designed for the people who are visually blind, other disability people. Okay, so you can add the text there. So what happens is a system will generate an information.
