Day 69-Visualizing Thought Processes-100 Days 100 Skill Booster Sessions

Jagadeesh P teaches how to turn thoughts into visual diagrams and sketches. The session covers keyword generation, narrative building, thumbnail sketching, and digital wireframing to strengthen visual communication and design thinking skills.
Your voice is not clear. You wanted to tell something or you're in. Can you be in mute? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, that's great. So now we got the link. Let me share it for our group as well. Just a second. It. Just a second, guys. Just a second. Just a second. Because I have to put it for the other public as well, whoever is joining. So that's the very reason I'm doing it. Just second. What's happening? It's not updating heck is wrong with this. Okay, okay, yes. Okay, fine, guys, let's start the skill. And welcome to this day 69 for the skill booster session. I'm super happy that we are continuously doing this for the end of the seventh week, it's like seven into what you call end of the 10th week, sorry, 10 into seven is 70. So tomorrow is going to be ultimate day and tomorrow is going to be a little continuation of what we are, what we have did now. So you need to be very mindful of that because the very reason why we have actually kept it in this way is people has to learn the skill and practice it. Ideally, tomorrow is going to be a little practice also for this. And you can see the dots getting connected. So that's the main objective. Also doing this here. And I want everybody to take out your notepad, pens and also if you have any sticky notes or something would highly recommend you to take that. Okay. It is very vital because we're going to learn lot more things through that. Okay, fine. Just a second, guys. Let me adjust my camera. I'll keep it ready. Yes, yes. We are ideally good to go. Yes. Please switch on your camera for people, whoever has joined. And also J, can you just forward this link in our WhatsApp. In our WhatsApp group, the Zoom call link one more time. I've also did it. But anyway, you can also do this so that it is. Yeah, fine. Thank you so much. So now let's understand. Today's skill is revolving around your thought process into a form of visual diagram. Okay. Thought into visual diagram. Many people have a big time problem. They think a lot, they visualize a lot. But when it comes to implementing it, they have a big time problem. Have you felt that? Have you ever felt that skill? Like, let's say jagdish? While I'm thinking, I'm getting a lot of ideas. But while I'm putting it down in the paper or in the art board or anywhere, I'm feeling very struggled. How many of you are like that? It's a very Very important skill. Putting visual thoughts into a visual drawing or a diagram or a sketch or maybe even a. A visual screen. What you're trying to build. Okay. How many of you are like that? Can you raise your hands? Go ahead. How many of you like this? Sorry, I forgot. Why did you forget? Ram Raj? I don't understand. No, no. I didn't get you. Can you repeat one please? You said I didn't. I forgot something. In the chat box you mentioned. I switch off the mic previous. Ah. Okay. No problem. Fine. Okay guys, so we are going to bring our thought process into the text or a visual diagram. Okay. Because this is a very big skill which I've seen lagging with many students. So they were actually. When a problem statement is given to them they will be actually doing it a lot. Okay. Okay. Let's do an activity and understand this. Fine. So have you all taken the notepad and punch T. Biology. Switch on your camera. Let's start this. Yeah. So I'm going to give you a very very small activity. Okay. Can you write five keywords? Anything randomly. Can you write five keywords? Whatever word you feel at least this is a super word according to me. Can you just write it please? Random randomly. Okay. Five keywords written. Nice. For writing five keywords this much time. Stop, stop. You have to do it really fast. I told you, right? We are going in a rocket. Speed. Okay, so now for this five words, what you've written. Put arrow mark against each of the words and draw something which is for that word representing that. Like let's say what is the word you have written? Ram Rush, tell me. Example. Assistance. Consistence. Okay. For showing consistent. What can you draw? Small diagram in the pen. 2D diagram with A. It's in a small box. Like let's say you draw a small box like this. You try to draw. Do you show consistent? Maybe it is good. It is bad. That is okay. Not a problem. What is your word? J. What you have written? Mute. Mute. Mute. You're in mute mindset, sir. Huh? Mindset. Mindset. Mindset. Okay. To represent mindset, what will you draw? Small picture. Shall we draw all the diagonals? Five. Try five out of five. Yes, all the five. There is no perfection. Just draw. You don't have to feel whether it's looking good. Bad. That's not the point now. Okay, see. Look at this. Look at this. I took the bird. Okay. I just draw something like a bird. That's it. And you can see there is something called tree which we have written. One second. Let me show the correct picture that you guys are guided correctly. Okay? Yeah. Look at this tree. The tree needs to be little tree, right? Cricket bat. Cricket bat, ball, mouse. That's it. How much time does it take? Just 10 seconds for drawing each and everything. Can you do it? J? Did you see it here? Whatever I showed you, just a very rough picture of what you are seeing. Okay, do it fast. Let me start the session from there. Yes. Oh, sorry, I'm not recording this call. I'm extremely sorry, guys. Yes. Welcome guys to the skill booster session. So I've asked you to first draw some. Take some keywords and draw some figures. Okay? That is the ideal thing which I've asked you to do. So have you completed it? Confirm me fast, guys. It should not take this much time. It's a very, very simple activity. 30 seconds for each and every drawing which you have to draw. If you take a lot of time, then that's called perfection. We are not looking for perfection here. Okay, fine. Can you show me in the the screen, Ram Raj, your picture, can you show it? Like. Let's say, can you show it? Okay, that's great, Ramraj. Good, good, good, good, good. I can see that. Okay. You can draw a little bigger and detail also. That's okay for now. No problem. What about you, J? What about you, SRI Balaji? Okay, fine. Okay. See guys, if you do the activity with me together for the next couple of minutes for this skill, you guys are going to learn a lot. It's not like I'm going to only teach. No, this topic is little offbeat. Like you'll have to do activity to learn it. Okay, so putting visualization, thought process into a sketch. Visualization, thought process into a sketch. Or maybe a visual. Okay, how do you want to put it into a form of a sketch? Let's understand this. What is this? See, first of all, many designers, this is a very, very vital skill. DNA. Like a DNA. It's a very, very vital skill of transforming our ideas into visual narratives. Unless, until you are not able to bring that solution, like let's say visual in the sense. I'll also tell for the people who can, who even cannot visualize, how they can able to see that through audio, through some kind of other tactile or vibration or some experience. Right. So think about visual ideas, narratives in terms of all the people, including the disability inclusive. All the people. Right. So we've been seeing that for the last, last one week. We know about this particular inclusive topic, WCAG guidelines and we are also following that. Okay. We need to Be little mindful. What are the objective of it. See, first of all, whatever abstractness is there in our mind, we need to convert that into a concrete visual. It is a very vital skill for a designer. I have seen a lot of designers who talk about this goals, they talk about this values mission, they talk about their super designers and they have a crazy idea in their mind. But when I ask them to show what are you thinking about your idea? Can you just show me in a small sketch or rough? They won't be able to do it. Ultimately, what's the point if you're not able to use some sketches or a basic figure diagram or some communication method to show to your colleagues, nobody will first approve your idea. If you're not able to show to your boss, like let's say, hey boss, this is what I'm thinking, can we develop as a project? He won't be even convinced to take that project. He will tell you, you please do whatever we have already said, you don't do anything innovative and all these things. Please go. Unless until your communication is clear, unless until whatever idea you're trying to tell is very strong and clear through the sketch and visual, then people are going to consider that idea. Okay, this has a potential. Let's see that. And let's say if you wanted to convince your client or your project manager or a stakeholder, this skill is very, very vital. Just bridges the gap between ideation and execution. Storytelling, sketching, visualization skills for effective communication. So that is why it is very, very important. See, it not only enhances your creativity, it also improves the communication clarity. I told you, right? Either stakeholder clarity with a boss or client or anything, anybody. Okay. Visualization thought processes fosters innovation. 67% of the designers improve problem solving incorporating sketching. Design Thinking Report 2023 says that. That is why I always talk about sketching. Even when you take the first few days of skill booster session. We had a lot of sketching activities as well. Because that is a primary thing. If you are thinking something in the mind, you should be able to put it in a paper. Yeah, it could be a very primitive small diagram. Totally, totally fine. I'm going to give you some small ideas how we can able to convert that into a very, very basic primitive shapes. Okay. So that whenever, next time you're communicating to your team or boss or anybody, you should be absolutely clear on what you wanted to say. That is a major important thing. Okay. Because we are solving problem that should be effectively communicated. Very important visuals simplifying complex idea for Better stakeholder understanding. And we know this communication clarity is the most important part. Storyboarding improves UX presentations by 50 percentage. You Niels and Norman group said that this is a very, very important stat. I would say storytelling. You should know what story you're telling. A week back, I think we did one inner circle call in that we had did a story writing. I think some people were there, some people are not there. But yeah. So what we primarily did is we tried to create some keywords and we tried to construct a story. We tried to construct the story and then we tried to start writing about it. And once we start writing about it, we created an image for it. We did some, we used some AI tools to create the image and then we all created a story for that back back work. And then we posted in the LinkedIn. You can see some of our students, they posted in their LinkedIn this work. But the point here is it's not about story, it's about first putting that into a visual. Okay. And third process refinement. See why we are doing ultimately these rough sketches is to save time. If you start doing a detailed sketch like let's say even if you're making a wireframe or something, like let's say even if you have to make a wireframe like this, you should not take much time. See, I'm just drawing you on small information. That's it. See, Look, I've drawn one screen. Okay, I'm drawing the second screen. See, 30 seconds I took for drawings, just first screen is this. After the user press start here it automatically redirect to the second screen where it will show 1, 2, 3, stop, pause, right? See, our intention is what we have to communicate that we are creating a screen. We are creating an interface with what you call with the start button on the left, bottom left corner. And once users is pressing this information, he'll be redirected to this particular interaction. Why? Because this is to show them the feedback. What they've interacted has really come in front of them. And they can adjust the precise control of the equipment through this interface. And then their task is achieved. See, that's it. What happens when you do this? People can refine this process. Like let's say maybe your boss can say hey, the call to action button interaction is not very strong. Can we make it center? This is a safety critical feature. Can we make it green in color? Can we make it yellow in color? Can we give a very highlighting color, accent colors so then you can make another sketch. Okay, let me make it center. Okay, let me make it a little flashy. Visibility. Okay. Okay. Okay. See in next 30 seconds. I also created an idea for this. The bottom. This is why sketching for first of all and putting into your visual thought process is more better for process refinement and people will be able to connect with you faster. Okay. Teams using thumbnail sketches of 30% in project planning time. I'll tell you what is thumbnail sketching going forward. Okay, so now let's get into the five aspects of it. Okay. The concept. First of all, breaking down your thought processes. I told you to write some keywords, right? So you have written some three to five keywords. You've written something like. Like let's say what people said. Mindset. You. I've written like bird, tree. Like let's say cricket, bat, ball. It's fine. Let's understand. We will design a problem around it. Can you guys see? Can you look at this five keywords and try to see a problem inside it? Like let's say bird, tree, cricket, bat, ball, mouse Would say the birds are getting endangered there. There are certain species of birds which is getting endangered. I'll talk about it like. Okay, you can take one problem. Like let's say another problem. Tree. People are cutting lots of trees. So let us understand how to avoid that. Maybe, maybe that I can take. See some problem you can take from the world. Whatever you've chosen, please take that. Please look at it very carefully. Okay. List the keywords for a design problem. So you have listed the keywords. So you take a design problem. Can you quickly take it 10 seconds. Do it fast. Do it fast. Do it fast. Do it fast. Do it fast. Guys, come on. Okay. Mark your attendance in the learning management portal. If you guys are okay. Fine, Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine. Okay. Right. So now building a narrative from your keywords. Second activity. Can you use the keywords to create a small narrative? Like let's say you have created this bird. You created the word bird, tree. Or you found out some problem. Can you see a small story narrative around it? Like let's say what word you've chosen? Ramraj, can you tell me? Peacock. Peacock. Okay, you've taken peacock. What word you have chosen? So for mindset I have chosen mentality, sir. Okay. That's okay. Keywords is okay. But I will tell you what. What we are going to do now. Okay. Can you write a short note about that word? Take one word. Don't confuse all the words. Just take one word and try to take a small story around it. Whatever comes in Your mind. Okay. Just write it down in a paragraph. Just don't think anything. Just write down Calm. Like let's say if I have to take about. Like let's say bird. Okay, I'll talk about bird. Ramra can write about peacock. You can write about mindset, mentality, whatever. Okay. Kalai, you can write about whatever keyword you're thinking about. Can you just write a short story around it. A very short story. I'll give you one minute it. Okay fine. Stop. So you've written a small two, three lines, right? So that could be a scene. Whatever is coming in your mind. So now draw a big box. Okay. Draw a big box next to that. Okay. Now comes a very important thing. Listen to me very carefully guys. Okay. Focus on a flow. Like let's say if this is your box. Okay, Just listen to me what I'm exactly seeing. Okay. You've written some two, three words about it. Now ideally in order to picture it. In order to visualize it. Okay, very carefully listen. In order to picture it and visualize that scene. What you've written. Can you draw five thumbnail sketches? Small. Very, very small. Show to. Like I said draw five boxes. Okay? Like this. Like a storyboard. Don't worry about these things. Just draw five, five boxes. Okay. I'll tell you what to do. Just draw small five boxes like this and listen to me. Once I say okay then you start doing it. First listen. Okay. So first you've written the keyword. Second you have written some lines story about it. Third you have to visualize that scene. What you have written into five boxes. Scene one, Scene two. Scene three. Scene four. Scene five. Okay, you build a story. You are creative designer. Okay. So you are seeing like let's say what you have written about it. Ram Raj, tell me. Peacock is a. Peacock is the bird but can't fly. Okay? That's it. You've written only one line. One line is really short here. Can you write at least 2, 3 lines please fast. Do it now. Do it now. Can you tell me what's your example what you've written? Nowadays peoples are suffering from depression because of over stress. So this majorly affect their mentality. That's good. So now this is a very good sentences. Okay, listen to me. So once if you have that. So you can divide this into five different segments. Okay? Like let's say first people are suffering. Okay. Right near that small box. Suffering. Okay. Second you can say showing suffering. First you can put people picture also you divide it. Say I'm just giving you an Example. Okay. You put the first picture as people. Second is suffering. Third is like let's say how it is affecting their mindset today. Currently. Okay. Fourth you can say like let's say how you are going to solve them. Maybe you can say something like. People are studying, people are working, people are like engaging in major activities. But they're getting into stress. Next I can show how using this solution, they have come out of the stress. And then they're now leading a happy life. So you defined five different steps for your seeing what you mentioned. Each and every box should contain a small image representing that sea. It should be in the same order. Okay. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. So people while seeing the first one, second one, third one, they should understand what is this fourth one, fifth one. By the time they complete it, they should understand the two lines. What you written. Clear. Have you seen comics and the cartoon books? Have you seen comics book? Ramraj, have you seen it? Yes. Other people in comics book there will be a picture, there'll be a small wording, right? Similarly like that you're going to do now. But you're going to divide it into a 5 segment. Okay? Are we clear? Yes. Your time starts now. I'll give you two minutes to three minutes time. Guys. Okay. Your time starts now. Do it. Come on. I'll also do from myself. One and a half minutes left. Okay. Written time's up. Four minutes. We have to come on. See. Listen, have you written Ram Rajar? Guys, please switch on your camera and stay focused and show here like what you guys have did so that I can also understand. Are you guys in track or not? Listen to me. Okay, look at here. Look at here. So like something like this we can able to try. Okay. Like let's say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I was just drawing a bird which is actually ideally stopped initially. And after that the freedom comes for that bird. So I showed the freedom through this way. Like let's say, I'm saying spreading the wings. And after that it stays ahead of other birds. And then it is very happy while realizing the freedom. Okay. Starting from here to here, there is a small story narrative around it. I'm just giving you a small example. Okay. In your case very able to visualize it. See, all these things are very rough sketches. It's not a very detailed sketch. Detail sketch is not the point here. We'll have to put our visual. Like let's say if I have to communicate you. The bird needs freedom. This is more than enough. The bird needs freedom and it needs to stay Ahead from the other birds. And it also has to be very happy. So we are empowering the birds through our products and service. Or maybe we are creating us awareness or a campaign for this particular births. Like let's say that is my objective to communicate to my stakeholder. This is more than sufficient. Are you guys understanding what I'm trying to say? Yes, Ramraj. So now can you show me what you got? Ramraj, just take a picture and just show it to me. Go ahead. Come on. Yeah, just show me. No problem. Like even if it is a very rough work, take a snap and send me. Not a problem. Yeah. Fast, fast, fast, fast, fast. No need of perfection. No need of perfection. Please just send me whatever you got. Okay. I'm moving for the next session because the next part. Because it. It is. It is actually a. When time is going. Okay, I need to complete this as well. So once you completed this third step then you can go for the fourth one. If people are shared. Excellent, Ram Raj. Excellent. Excellent, excellent. One second. Ramraj. I'll. I'll. I'll share the screen so that you guys can also see what Ram Raj has did. Okay. Okay. Can you see what is happening in the screen? Oh no, not this picture. Okay. Can you see Ramraj picture? Yes. Ram Raj, can you little bit explain us what is this? Quick, quick. Ram, are you Peacock is a big size bird. It can show his beauty by spreading the feathers. The first picture and become our country pride. So here I show the country flag symbol. Okay. Okay. And due to his heavy size it can't. Okay. So it will walk on land. So I show the tree. Okay. And Pico can fight with dangerous animals also like snakes like that with his feather. That's great. Excellent. Here. Super. I really appreciate you, Ramraj. Let's give a hands on approach for like let's say Ramraj. Good. So ideally whatever he has thought, he has just put it in the five screens. Right? Five. Five boxes. See, the reason why we asked you to put a five boxes is you should know how to concise your story within that. Even if I ask you to do 50 boxes, you have to build the same story more detailed with little more characters and little more creativity. But putting that into a visual is very, very basic thing. See, you can use basically a squire. You can use basically circle. You can use basically lines. You can use stick diagram. See, this is human. According to me, he is human. That's it. You don't have to confuse much. Putting a thought process into a visual is actually a skill you need to understand. Perfection is not the point here. It's about little bit detailing and showing out what you want. Like let's say if I give you 10 minutes to complete this, 10 thumbnail boxes. You can do a little better. But get the understanding this is the basics of it. Okay. So fourth one is add a little fine details to it. This can be done little later after you complete this. If the idea is like let's say. If. If. Let's say I'm creating particular like let's say website for showcasing in the Indian government about the peacocks idea, Peacock's importance. And I have to show its legacy. I have to talk about that bird. If Ramraj is building that website, if he shows that this kind of a storyboard then I can able to understand what story we can build for that website. Because website is all about storytelling. Mobile application is all about storytelling. What story you want to tell to your user. Ultimately if that story is not clear, people will not connect with you. People will not be able to understand what you are, what you're really meaning. Ultimately that importance, that is the major, major important thing. Okay. Excellent. Has shared something. Oh, this is really good here. Nowadays people are suffering from depression. Yes. Can you explain this? J. Please go ahead. The first picture is due to overstress. They are suffering from depression, sir. So due to overstress. The first feature indicates the over stress. And second is they are suffering from depression. And third is because of this really super communication. I understood. You don't have to even explain. Your picture is telling. So you're giving some consulting and then they're happy now, right? Yes. Wonderful, Wonderful. I really appreciate. You mean it is really good. See, even the details is also good here. It's okay if you have details. That's. That's really, really great. So the point here is we'll have to communicate a short story. Like let's say if I'm asking you one more question. Hey Ramraj. Hey Jayanandani. Can you just share a detailed solution of how this consulting can happen? Example. Okay. Like let's say hey Jay. And then you're saying consulting is good and people are getting happy after this. How the consulting will happen. Can you show me the flow of the user? Then I'm asking Ramraj. Hey Ramraj. Can you tell me like I'm going to build a website for Indian government because peacock is a national bird, right? Am I right or. Yeah. So it's a national bird. So we are going to celebrate the hundredth year of that and we are going to create a Massive. What you call celebration and a campaign for that. We are building a website for it. So we need somebody to build the content for the Peacock. Can you give me a storyboard for that? Can you give me a user flow for that website in just 10 steps? If people are asking you this, what will you do? Tell me. Tell me Ramraj. Tell me Jain. And what will you do? Tell me Namraj, are you here? Your mute camera off. First of all I have to do research on Peacock and gather some information. And then conduct user interviews. Gather some data from online. Also that I can got some assumption about the Peacocks. How. How to save them. Okay. Superb. You're on the right track. You're on the right track, Ramraj. Superb. I'm really happy that you're. I can see your clarity in the process now. That's great. So you will do a research. You will understand what are the basic needs of the people to see this website. We'll collect details about Peacock and then you also start creating a first storyboard. Don't jump into solution. Okay. What people miss while they are putting their visual thought process into a sketch is they don't know how to put that into a story. See, this is what you did is called thumbnail sketching. You guys have created a small thumbnail. Thumbnail is what this much big, right? Thumbnail. Thumbnail sketching is. Even if you. Even your thumbnail sketches should be even smaller I would say. But for now it is okay. You're just getting started, right? But think about it. Once you're making thumbnail sketches, people will. People will come to know what you're trying to say. If the idea is not good for building this website then Ramraj boss will say hey, can you just little bit refine it? We will not talk Peacock about its history. We'll talk about Peacock's fantasy. Like let's say white Peacock. We'll talk about the fantasy of Peacock. Let's do that. Then your entire storyboard needs to change. Because they're talking about fantasy, right? So each and every client, each and every project will have a different requirements. So that mistakes and refinements will only happen after you put something on a paper. Sometimes client will will say this is not what we expected. We are expecting Peacock to be in a pencil sketches. We expect Peacock to be in a more illustrated way. We don't want realistic pictures. Then you will have to create the entire narrative in a different way. See. So this refinements and mistake will keep on happening in the project. That is why we do this Kind of a pencil sketches to understand why it is very, very iterative in nature and how we can do it fast. And then once that detail is clear, then you can add little colors. You can add little sketches. Like let's say you can put some yellow color here. Like let's say you can have, you can have some colors over here, guys, if you have any sketchments or something, you can do that. Okay, See you can add some colors over here. Just a rough colors. Okay, I don't have much colors here. I have it in my office, the kit. Okay. Oh, sorry, it's over there. But let me just quickly tell you. Okay, any colors, whatever, whatever you have based on like let's say you can tell depression is in red color. Like let's say you can put Indian flag for the peacock, you can show wings in the green color. So whatever is your details, you can add it. Finally convert that into some kind of a prototype. Like let's say you can take a small option. Like let's say in Figma you can open this particular option. Just a second guys. Okay, you can do it in Canva, you can do it in Photoshop, you can do whatever you want, guys. It's totally, totally up to you. Okay? But ultimately people has to build this particular screen. Okay, like let's say I'm taking one example. One second guys, let me put the mic here. Like let's say if I have to build another frame here. Okay, let me build it. Just, just example, I'm building it. Okay, like let's say if I have to show my. If I have to show my. Like let's say I'll put some text here. Okay? Yeah, if I have to create a small image for showcasing this particular thing. Were you able to see my screen? Yes, I'm just taking a small image about the peacock and I want to show it in a more illustrated way. Okay. And just putting this picture here. What happened here? It's not coming. Fine, let's copy this. Okay, let's put it here. So ideally speaking we're just creating a small, what you call legacy here. And what we are trying to do is we are trying to write a very good sentence. Like let's say peacock is a national bird for India and peacock has the spreaded wings and it can able to show its freedom, joy, colorfulness and also variety of cultures which is available in India. So peacock being an iconic symbol, it's used in many of the national logos for Indian brands to represent its varsity. And right now peacocks are getting into endangeredment state. We are trying to create a wildlife sanctuary for specifically for peacock in order to save them. And this particular campaign is going to be initiated by our prime minister Narendra Modi on coming January 1st. And this particular page is to create awareness how much people are knowing about it. Yeah, See now I've created a small picture. I'm just showing you an example, guys. But you can do whatever is your actual picture, okay? Like let's say you have something like this. Like this. We can't see your screen. Oh really? Just a second now. Can you see? Yes, yes. Okay, so I just put one picture of peacock, okay. I've just created a small icon around it. I'm just putting some words so that it can be a small context of why peacock is actually the main picture here and why being the camping owner, we're just trying to create a small awareness for it, okay? And then what I'll do is I'll draw one small call to action for it, okay? You can put one small color over here and you can create a very good, like let's say I also choose this peacock screen color. Okay? Me choose this. Let's create this support here. Okay? So I'm just trying to create a small support for this people, okay? So now I know that we are actually saving the peacock and also we are going to initiate this particular campaign and we know that people who are reading this information so they have to come and take some kind of a call to action by joining our support. Your support could be like you are, you're actually trying to create a page where you're getting some donation. Or maybe you can just like let's say you can put, put this peacock picture in a very small size and then you can say by donating here, it directly goes into the national sanctuary fund. Like let's say you're putting some kind of a donation here. Like let's say, okay, so you're just creating a campaign and then you're creating a kind of like let's say a fundraising campaign for it. Okay? So ideally when people are reading it and they are clicking the support, they'll be guided here. Okay, I'm just showing a small glimpse of it and then it can be a little like let's say, okay, I'm just creating a black and white and because it should go a little small, okay. And I'm putting a peacock here, something like this, okay? So by donating here, people can able to contribute for this cause. Okay. And also you can write another word saying like let's say why? Okay, Writing a small story narrative for it. So which showcases why you can increase this font a little bit. Let's say you can write by donating this each of the money, whatever has been donated here goes directly into the accounts of national sanctuary fundraising moment so that that can be used to to feed and build infrastructure for these animals in order to protect them from getting endangered by providing a proper shelter, food on time and also taking care of their health with the veterinary doctors, which is included in this whole campaign. And your fund is very important for us. And you can also claim gst, you can also claim income tax returns for this contribution, whatever you're creating. Okay, so there are many working people who are looking at this campaign and they want to wanted to donate something like let's say for the people you wanted to create something. Like there would be people who would be willing to give and give thousand rupees, right? There would be people who would be even willing to give like let's say 10,000 rupees. If you put control D guys, you can able to duplicate it. If you press alt and drag it, you can able to create a duplication of the screen. These are like very, very small, small options in Figma, but you can do whatever you want, guys. Okay, let's say I'm just giving you a small idea. You do it in canva, you do it in word file, you do it in ppt. I really don't care wherever you're doing, but your message should be there. Okay, see here I'm just creating one option and I'm also creating one more option here. Like let's say something like climb tax free certificate here. I don't want to create it as a call to action button. I wanted to create it like a. Like let's say, let's say what do I do? Okay, I'll create it like a blue color. Let's say this blue. Okay, so what happens is people will automatically come and click to know that it's actually what you call. Let me make it even more small. Yeah, see now people will be guided to this particular page and they will know, okay, if I am able to contribute something for this peacock moment, whatever these people are calling. So I can also even claim GST for it. Okay, See they can click the certificate and then they'll know that, okay, Jake is able to claim the GST for it. Okay, you can also have this Y here. You can also have a contact number. So ideally your message is what you got the thought process, you put it into Some kind of a story and then you're trying to create a flow around it. See, this is a flow, 1, 2, 3. So you can create as number of flows as you want. Use any visuals. Guys. I would suggest you can start with Canva if you completely don't know anything here. Because Canva has a lot of images and templates. You can just drag and drop and then try to create a small story around it. Communicate that story to us. That's what we ideally want. Okay, Here details and functionality is not the point. The, the major expectation here is you should be able to create a strong visual and a communication around it. That is the major, major expectation which is available. Okay, so convert the thumbnail into a digital wireframe. Try to do it. Okay, it is fine. If it's a physical product, you can do it. I mean I would give you a lot of case studies and examples, but it's fine. Guys. You guys understood what we are trying to say, right? So keywords like clarity, cohesion, shape, material, design, interprincip. So see each of these examples. These people have converted their products and solution by just getting an idea in the mind, taking the user's problem and bringing that as a solution. And what I've just shown you is a small example like how the campaign for the peacock has been spread for each of the products and brand. It has been detailed out like you can say Pixar storyboarding keywords like emotion and adventure drive storyboards. Pixar is a very good animation design studio. They have created highly engaging visuals and movies in animation by just creating this small thought process into visuals. Okay, you can take Dyson product design, you can take Nike brand strategy. The keywords performance and what you call performance visualized into dynamic campaigns. You can see that. So each and every keyword, what the brand is resonating, it has been converted into a visual. Either in the form of logo, in the product website, in the product of packaging, in the product retail store experience. So understand guys, the visual part becomes only when you thought, when you, when you first think in your mind very clearly and then putting into the paper once if you're able to do it. There are a lot more examples I can give you guys. Like let's say Instagram deals, Lego toys, Apple packaging, ted, TED talks, even TED Talks. See, it's memorable and engaging, right? So using that keywords, how people are converting into a final product or solution. Look at the Instagram, look@the lego.it's built around imagination and play. Lego is a very, very good Toy brand for kids, right? So lot of kids really like that because they have built around imagination and play as a keywords. So that each and every Lego toy will look very, very crazy, very fantasy. It will not look very formal. It will look very playful. So each of the brand should be reflected on the keyword, what you're thinking about. That is why it's very important. Okay, so now enough is enough. I wanted you guys to do one thing. You took three to five keywords, right? And you also identified a core design element around it. You also write a story about it. You. You also sketch some small thumbnail. And then now I wanted you to exchange your ideas with other friends. Like let's say Jay Nandini and other people. Like, let's say Tilagar and Ramraj. You guys can just show it to your other friends. Like, what do you really think about it? What do you really think about it? Like, let's say, hey, I think about your community. Your story is not clear. Hey, yeah. Your story is clear. Yeah. You can get a feedback from the peer. Feedback. Okay. By seeing Jan and any sketches, I can able to see that she is very clear on their ideas. Very good. And then convert it into a digital tool. These four things you have written with me. You've did it with me. Fifth one, you'll have to convert it into a digital way. If you feel like doing it again, one more time, please do it. I would not stop it. Okay, this is a small activity which I'm giving you guys. You guys can take it up once. If you're completely happy about doing it, then you start building additional solution for. Okay? Very, very small activity, guys. Take any one problem. It will take just half an hour to one hour, not more than that. Let me show you why visuals is very important. Lot of people might not know about it. Our brain retains 65% of the visuals versus 10% textual information. It boosts the creativity. Sketching activates the right hemisphere, sparking innovation. Designers using Visuals resolve problems 30% faster and it reduces the stress level, promoting calm and focus. Please understand, guys, it is very, very, very, very important. Okay? If you're completely numb about it, don't worry. I'm giving you certain prompts so that you guys can able to take advantage for it. Okay?
