Day 8 Skill Booster - Matching User with Biz Goals

Jagadeesh P walks through how to align user needs with business goals in product design. The session covers key concepts and practical techniques designers can use to improve their skills and understand how user satisfaction and business success connect.
Please go to the YouTube as well and confirm me whether everything is streaming properly or not. Whether everything is streaming properly or not. Okay? I think I'll paste the stream key as well to the people so that it would be better watch YouTube live stream.
Okay?
Okay, fine. Yes, guys, so can we start the call? Welcome, welcome everybody. And a lot of people are here. I'm not able to put you in the panel. So what I'll do is I'll promote you to the panelist, okay? Maybe you can come to the panelist section as well as you can comment and I will do that for you guys, don't worry.
Okay?
Yes, yes, yes. Promote panelist. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Anyway, but I'll be in the speaker mode. But you guys can also. You guys can. What you call, you guys can be in a mute and whenever it's required, you can open the mic and you can talk.
Okay?
There is no problem. You can do that. No issues. Welcome. Welcome to this day eight of the skill booster session. Guys, we are in the week two, so happily a lot of people are waking up in the morning and then you're learning. I really appreciate your interest what you're doing. See, this is nothing. What we are going to complete for the next one week or the next one month or the next two and a half months, okay? Till the end of this year. Imagine how much learning you would have got. In fact, I wanted to set this context also. I did not do it on the first day, second day, because I wanted to understand the response of the audience as well, since a lot of people are participating. And I'm also getting a lot of calls later like I'm watching this YouTube stream. Sorry, excuse me. So they're asking me, and they're asking me also one question, how to wake up early in the morning. This is a very good question. So let me give you a small information, guys.
Okay?
So a lot of people are there with me, right? So you have to also understand why it is very important to wake up early in the morning and how to do it. In fact, how to do it is more important. Everybody knows one or the other way that waking up early in the morning is very important, important, important. But let me tell you, there are three mantras available for this, okay? There are series of steps, but this three is very vital. First of all, you will have to have your dinner at 7 to 7:30 in the night. That's the first thing. Please make a note of it, everybody. You can switch on your camera Please come forward. And yeah, so first of all, you need to have your dinner at 7 to 7:30 in the night, okay? Second is you should be able to go to bed at least 10 to 10:30, okay? That's the second thing. Third is, have your dinners very light. Don't make it very heavy. Because if you are having very heavy, you won't be able to wake up early in the morning just like that, very easily, okay? So these are all the three steps which you can follow. So once if you're able to wake up early in the morning, then what you can do is you can take one liter of bottle of water. Ideally prefer to have a copper bottle. If you have copper bottle in your house or copper utensil, put that 1 liter water last night itself. And make sure when you're waking up before brushing the teeth, drink that one liter fully, okay? So once if you're drinking it fully, then go for brushing your teeth and going for the toilet and everything, okay? If you do this way, the way in which your body will detoxify is very different. It will be very, very faster. As well as you can able to cleanse yourself much better. And you see the magic next day, automatically you will have better hunger, better appetite because all of your toxic is going out like anything because you drink the one lit of water, right? So previously you are not doing that, so now it is getting even more flushed, okay? And then automatically the next meal will be very, very fast. You'll get the hunger very fast. And dinner also subsequently matters. Because everything is connected in a day, what you do from the morning and once you do it for two days, on the third day you won't need any big routine to be followed. First you can keep this alarm and all these things. That will be at least for the first 15 to 21 days, but seven days ideally to get your body into the shape saying, I'm going to wake up at this time, 5 o', clock, 5:15, I want to wake up 6 o', clock, I have this. If you have that commitment put in your mind last night, this is the fourth mantra I would say, okay? Along with this, if you put this mantra, light before you sleep, I want to wake up at 5:15. I have an important agenda or a skill to learn in the 6:00 clock session, nobody needs to wake you up automatically. Your body will wake you up with the full energy, not with a very disturbed. Have you seen in the middle of the night, if somebody wakes you up, how irritated you will be? Hey, I'm missing my Sleep. I'm in full sleep. I have to sleep for another two hours. No, three hours. You're disturbing me. That thought will never come because your already body is getting flushed out all the toxics and you're also ready for the next day with a lot of energy and you have some agenda in your mind. If you follow these four steps, you'll be able to do very, very easily. Guys. Got it. Everybody's getting excited. Everybody's getting wow. With this technique a lot of people might be having this intention. Oh, I know how to wake up early in the morning. I know it is very important for me to also wake up early in the morning. But nobody knows the real technique of it. You're doing it in your own way and then you are getting a lot of times problem, right? So please come to the panelist and switch on your camera. Guys, I request everybody to come to the panelist and switch on your camera as well as I'm sharing my screen now.
Okay.
Because today you're having, you're going to learn very, very important skill which one of our student asked how to match the user need with the business goal.
Okay.
Because every business one or the other way has a goal to achieve. That's how the business is able to run the whole show. Right? So in the last skill booster session we saw why user need. Why understanding user is very important. Because as a UX designer or a product designer or even as a human being, we need to understand what others are going through and help them through our skills, what we are having. Right? Typically anybody would do that. But as a designer you have to step one forward up.
Okay?
Okay. Let me, let me one second guess I'll do it for you, don't worry.
Okay.
Okay. Just a second, just a second. Okay. Okay. I don't know if it is zoom. Okay, I'm putting you as a co host guys so that you can able to.
Okay.
Switch on your camera. Very nice, very nice, Very nice, very nice. Okay, okay, sorry, sorry. Because right now we are going for a higher level of zoom. So only few people can able to switch on their camera. First 10 people I think so not all the people will be allowed because it is. It is not like earlier one. It is like only specified, only specialized option for few people. Okay, Excellent, excellent. Great guys, good to see you. Good to see you. Switch on your camera, join from your mobile if your laptop is not having camera. Okay, great. Okay. So this is a very important skill. The reason is lot of people do it like a process. Hey, if I have a Portfolio. Ah, so then I will have to create a user Persona. Then I'll have to create what is the need of the user. Then I'll have to go and ask this question. Don't be the templated guy. This is not the place to be templated. It is a very, very creative field. You should know in a sequence of steps how to do it in a proper manner.
Okay.
Because every business has a goal to play. Nobody is doing charity. Charity, if you're doing that's a different business. If you're doing an ngo, if you're doing a charity, even they have a goals. End of the day you have to meet the goals for those users. Right? We are not doing it anything for random is my point. So how do you match this user need with the business goal? We are going to see some live case study as well and you guys are going to help like how we can able to get these things forward. Just a second. Yeah. Can you see my screen? Confirm me fast type out of the chat. One where you're able to see my screen. Thank you so much. Yes, yes, yes. Great. Cool. So the very first day what we have learned is sketching. Second day we learned rapid ideation. Third wireframe sketching. Fourth, seeing the unseen. Fifth designer presentation. Sixth is choosing the right problem statement. And most most important, seventh we saw understanding user. Okay, so these are all the skills which is predominantly available today. We are going to see some very interesting skills called matching user need with a business. Good.
Okay.
It's a very vital skill for a designer.
Okay.
To be very correct, this skill is what people are lacking much. The reason why recruiters or the business or the design industry is not hiring you is you have not understood the importance of it. You have not understood how your portfolio can come and help different businesses. How your skill could be used for somebody in the real time. That is the reason.
Okay.
That alignment is what I'm trying to talk about. It's very, very, very, very important to get this clarity.
Okay.
See first of all you need to explore the business, understand what is the real alignment they have. Sometimes what happens is the business goal is very different. Like let's say, we'll take an example. The business goal could be making the user come into this platform and get aware. That's it. Sometimes the user goal could be make the user aware as well as take action to subscribe their products. Sometimes the goal could be different. It could be making the user come into the platform, get aware, get subscription and also make sure they donate for their social charity. See These three are three different industries. Don't think everybody is doing the same thing. No. Some of the times awareness will be your part. You have to understand that goal. Some of the times people making the purchase of their product or their website, service or anything is a goal. So keeping this in the mind, please think. Every business has a different need to play. Every business has a different goal. To play one or the other way, you cannot escape this. Whether you're an entrepreneur or whether you're working in a company or whether you're starting up anything, it doesn't matter. You have to understand the user goal and the business goal have to be matched. Don't think that. Hey Jagdish. I'm going for a company to work as a designer here. Why do I need this skill and all? If you're not having the skill, you cannot first enter into the industry at all. You have to talk in a way to your managers that. Tell me what are the exact business goal? You have to talk to your managers or the senior of the persons, or the mentors, whomever. Whatever problem you are trying to solve. Try to understand what is the business goal? What is the business school? You should ask a question every time you have to ask a question. We did a project recently, okay? With one of the design studio called this. It's. It's a gaming design studio and a furniture design studio. And a lot of people in our program also work for this, okay? So a lot of people don't know how to ask the question to the client, to the customer, whomever we are working with. So they are saying we will solve our problem, okay? But they are not asking what is the problem. Okay? This is a 3D modeler, okay? This is what we have to solve. Okay? We'll solve it. Okay? We'll create a 3D model, okay? We'll create a bunch of sketches. We'll create a bunch of concepts, ideas. No, first you have to go and interview that person, the client, somebody. What is your real goal? Okay, Designing application is fine. Client, what is your real goal? What is the real objective behind building this website? Can you tell me please? You have to ask that question and wait for their answers. Don't start prematurely doing all this designs and all. Just because you know Figma. Don't do that stupidness. Lot of people are making this stupid mistake thinking I also can create account in B halls. Let me also make one portfolio. This is a stupid way of spoiling and ruining your career. Without a proper basics. Sit and understand what is the goal a business has Maybe the business goal is not generating revenue. The business goal is to get a lot of people. So your entire project now shifted in a different direction. Are you guys getting it? If you're getting it, type out of the chat. Yes. Because many times people are running in the direction. But they don't know what direction to run. Too much harness, too much fast. I don't know where you are leading. If you're running in the wrong direction. Instead of traveling to Kanyakumar, if you're traveling to Delhi, what's the point? No matter what speed you run, you will not reach the point every time. Ask the question. Even if you're going for a design task in interviews. Because a lot of people, you may be in the stage of attending interviews, right? I'm. I'm sure you will be in the stage of attending a lot of interviews now. So what happens is people will ask you to do a design task. Hey, complete this design task. Tomorrow we'll have an interview. Don't do it very prematurely. Just wait and ask this recruiters. What are the real goal of doing this objective? What is the real goal of doing this design task? What is your business need? What's your business goal? Can you tell me if you don't know the answer? Can you ask your team members or the person who is responsible of this designer who created this task and tell me please. Or maybe you can give their contact. I can talk to them. See, it will convey two. Three different things. First is it will convey that you're a very serious person. It sets you apart from many people who are attending the design task. Second is it will make you understand that you are more responsibility taking towards solving this problem. Compared to anybody who's just doing like a donkey. Anybody who's just doing like a labor work like a donkey, right? A lot of people have this problem. Like they just do it like a donkey. Just like that. Do it, do it. Do it. They'll just do it. That's it. They don't know what is the purpose. What are the intention behind doing this. Third is it will create a greater interest in you that if you are approaching and completing the design task, your task will be selected a lot of times. Because people are looking for people who has a good attitude to learn and grow. A good attitude to come and solve their problem. Not the perfection. They also know you are a student. They also know in one day you cannot solve a big problem, right? So the expectation for them is how well this person is able to understand and come and contribute for this need. Or this problem statement. That is why I am again and again stressing out before going into details that aligning to the business need is most, most, most most important. Getting it. Are you guys following me? Type out in the chat? Yes. Type out of the chat. Yes. If you, if you, if you do it on a YouTube that would be highly, highly superb also guys. Okay, if you do it on a YouTube live stream key, it would be fine. Don't worry, okay? Because lot of people will be able to see you. And if you wanted the link, I can able to paste you here itself. Anyway, both the screens is available. You can mute there. But you can watch it here live in a week time. How many of you are seeing this as a HD quality? Guys, can you see this as a HD quality? My picture and everything is good. Can you type in the chat? Is my quality of the picture good? You can open your mic and talk guys. No problem. Mute unmute is available for you. Can you confirm me? It's clear. Clear, right? So when you go to the YouTube it will not be that clear. How many of you have observed that if you go to the YouTube it will not be that clear. Okay, but from the next week, next possible Monday or Wednesday, we are having a 4K recording. Actually it is getting recorded in 4K. But the point is YouTube, the encryption and other things, the synchronization from zoom to there, it's getting little problem. So even if you watch this video in YouTube, it'll be absolutely 4K quality and wait for it, you'll be getting that. Okay, so slowly, slowly we are improving the system. Yeah. Okay, so coming back to the system. So coming back to this context. Okay, so what is the skill overview? I told you, this is the ultimate success for a product designer. To integrate the business in the usable. It focuses on user experience, achieving the business objective. It's a win win scenario. End of the day your user should also feel the relevancy, right? Why you're okay, you understood the business now, but you've not understood the user. What happens? Terrible mistake happens.
Okay, so.
So why matching? It's very important. Let me tell you guys, there are three reasons. First of all, it directly improves the product success. Very simple. Second, it builds a long term customer loyalty. When customer is signing up with you for a product or he is signing up for your newsletter. If. If they are signing up for your newsletter also he becomes a lead. Okay? Or a customer. If they purchase your product. Like let's say Your product is 1 rupee or maybe 10 rupee or your application is just a subscription model of 20 rupees per month. It's okay. He has become your customer. The moment you are going and serving him with the exact needs, what he wants, he will be your lifetime customer. Imagine, he's paying 20 rupees every month, every year. Next 10 years, next 20 years, next 50 years. How much revenue is it? Money Inflation will also be very different, right? 20 rupees will become 40 rupees over the time. 40 rupees will become 400 rupees also over the time. But imagine if 20 customers are paying you like this and 200 customers are paying you like this. And 2000 customers are paying you like this in this recurring manner. What is that? That is a huge revenue. A lot of people don't understand this. That is why building a long relationship is very important.
Okay?
It optimizes your resource allocation. So you know exactly what is exactly your process towards implementing that. You will have a better control of what the user needs. If you have that, you can able to spend your design resources accordingly.
Okay?
So it aligns both goals of the business need as well as the market success. Satisfying the user promotes their ret. I told you, right? When you're designing an application, when you're designing a product, when you're designing a physical product, digital product, anything, customer satisfaction is very important. It retains them to use it again and again and again. Okay? Jagdish, how do I make it like that? First of all, you need to understand their need first. That's the ultimate basics. That's the reason we are recording this skill. How to improve the skill, Jagdish? By asking questions and listening very patiently. Very simple, Fairly direct. There is nothing g Boomba skill to. I need to have some wireframe. I need to have some information architecture. I need to have a mind mapping tool. Please throw all these things. First be in a present, present tense, present state. Ask question, listen. Ask a right question. Don't ask some stupid questions. Ask a right question. Hey, you're using our application for so long. Can you tell me one problem? What you're really going through? Can you tell me, is your objective met by using our application? Can you tell me what is the alternate way which we can able to serve you? Can you tell me? Is the colors good? Can you tell me, is the user experience better? Don't ask them user experience. Of course they won't know. Ask them how comfortable are you in using it? These are buttons clearly navigatable for you. Like let's say if you're designing a Headphones. Same like what Google is having headphones, right? You have to ask your user, hey, is this headphones comfortable for you to wear for three hours? You're a gamer, right? Three hours. You have to ask the question. They say yes.
Good.
What is making you say yes? Can you tell me that good reasons if he's saying no, tell me what are the reason you're saying no? Any which ways you are going to ask question? The only way to understand your user, your business is to ask question and patiently listen. If you ask me this entire session, this is day number eight in one line, I would say very simple. Ask question, listen. Ask question, listen. If you're not listening properly, that's it. 80% of your understanding comes from listening. What happens if you don't understand properly? You will be doing some random application. Nobody is going to use it. Same like your portfolio. How? How it is lying now? Because you have not taken a real time project. You have not taken a real time problems. You're not talked to the people who is really facing the struggle. You have not taken enough step because you have not understood any user. Ultimately that's what is going to boil down. But now you're not going to make that mistake. If you see the earlier skills. I have asked you how to find the industry need. In fact I asked you how to find out the gap in the industry. Also I've asked you how you can able to find that gap. Once if your gap is clear then you go and do this research. Then you find out who is your user, what is the business goal. And then I don't need to tell you. You have to match it. You will know automatically what to do next. Your entire project plan will come only when you do it this way. How many of you get this clarity? Type G C got clarity Type GC in the chat box. Type gc. If you got clarity, I want to know how many of you are aligned to this. Okay. I'm sorry. Okay guys, no problem. Fine. And then automatically your resource allocation and budget and everything will be very clear. What happens if you allocate the resources rightly to find the user need and do it automatically? Your budget will come down. Because you know this is what the user needs. Instead of randomly going in vaguely approaching for any random people.
Okay. Good.
Good. Good. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Manikandan. Thank you Srinivas. But what about others? What about Gokul? What about Punish? What about Tilagar? What about Aravind? What about Shantilal? Are you guys Getting it. If you're not getting it, type yen. No. At least maybe I can quickly give you a clarity. Why it is not okay? Oh no problem. Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you. I'm extremely sorry guys. Okay.
Okay.
I'll go to the live chat. Yes. Thank you Anas. Thank you Gokul. Thank you Arin. Thank you Manikantan. Gokul, thank you so much. Thank you. K. Thank you. Shantilal also got clear. No problem guys. I'll go to that. Okay fine. So first of all there is a misconception towards it. Design should always prioritize users. Right Jagdish? You're saying design should always prioritize you. Sir, I did not tell that anything anywhere. How many of you. How many of you are fighting out with me? Hey Jagdish, you told User is first. User is first. Guys, you have to align with the business need. Whom are you building it for? Are you going to sell it in the roads? Even if you're selling into the roads, you should have your objective clear. Why are you having that business? Or else you cannot sustain that business for a longer time. You'll be just roaming in the streets. Nobody will buy your product. Ultimately that's very important. Are you guys getting it? That is why you should understand your user need is also first and then without neglecting business need you have to take care of it.
Okay?
It's either or situation. Again this is a very big misconception. People say hey see sometimes business has to take the loss. Hey, sometimes user have to adjust in. Even in my team when I'm. While I'm working, many people used to come and tell me this. Okay, what to do? J. This. This feature is this much capable only. It's because they cannot develop in the software. They are saying the user will accept. The user will adjust. What a blunder. You're doing dishonesty for your work. You are actually doing it illegal legally. See, I'm doing medical product design. Okay. It's very important. Even a small mistake we do, it costs us a life of a person. Because we are doing a very precise design of the medical equipment now which goes inside the body. I'll not tell you because it's definitely huge confidential. But it goes inside the body. Imagine if we assume. Okay, this is okay. Our user will adjust. What is the point in telling that? The precision is very high.
Okay?
The the impact of the safety is huge. So that is why you should not take about either R and parallel. I should also support my business. If my business is Going in loss, then they cannot manufacture any product. They cannot design any more product.
Okay?
So understanding both is important. Okay, so what are the key techniques to do it? Very simple, guys. I think I told you the very key technique. But yeah, can you see? Interview. Go to the user, ask question. Very simple. Gather insights and get it. User research. Learn their pain points and expectation. How you do it by asking questions. How you do questions by preparing it beforehand. Preparing it beforehand.
Okay.
And validating with your mentors.
Okay.
And then rehearsing it. Don't just do it randomly just because you know these questions you wanted to ask. You're doing it. No rehearsing. I'm not sure whether the spelling is correct, but it doesn't matter. Okay, so prepare it before like let's say 15 questions you want to ask.
Okay.
Validated with your mentors or seniors or whoever is guiding you.
Okay.
Validate with them, get it confirmed, rehearse it, do a dry run and then once you're ready, go and talk to them. Don't just randomly go and think there. Don't think the questions after going to the field.
Okay.
Be prepared. Why it's important because it's insights from the both sides. Reveal your question. Common ground. What is really, really necessary. Okay, so creating a value POS proposition. See, while you define a value for your user as well as business, then people will be having a very good attractiveness to go and see. Why are you telling it's very important. See, when I'm ultimately asking you to pitch up skill to the recruiter, you need to have this value proposition ready. When I'm asking each and every one of you, prepare a gap statement. Prepare a business pitch, prepare a proposal. Please be aware if you're not proposing it, the direction is totally unclear because everybody has to get the win win right. It should support the user, it should support the business. Then and only it will look like a value proposition. Next you need to provide some metrics. See, don't tell our app is good. Don't tell our product is super. Don't tell the stand of the mobile. Mobile whatever. We it's super. Tell me how it is super. It is comparably better than the earlier version. It is lightweight. It is 10 times lightweight. You have to tell that it is twice better than flexibility. Two times better than flexibility. It is two times stronger than the earlier material which is used. See, if you use numbers, the matrix will be very different.
Okay.
Focus on revenue as well as usability. I told you about usability. You can also tell cost wise, it Is twice better cost. Like let's say if Your profit is 1 crore earlier by selling this product for a lot of people. Now it is getting 2 crores. Very simple. Twice. If you talk like this, business will like you. Business owners will like you. Design heads will like you. People who are recruiting you will like you. But nobody has this metrics in their project. They don't know. That's the point.
Okay.
So metrics ensures both goals are met properly. Very important.
Okay.
So prioritize the feature of the impact. Like let's say you can use some frameworks like let's say rice. Why it is important? Rank the feature by the business and the user value.
Okay.
Make sure what are the high impact feature you have. Make sure what is the second high impact feature they have third, fourth, fifth. And then you can rank it and give a score. When you give this ranking, what happens is people know. Okay. This is the most highest user need. This is the most Highest user requirement. 3rd, 4th, 5th. Then they can able to give the score. So adding that they will know majority of user needs are covered. This product is going to be very very important. And then develop a high feature first. Don't work on the third fourth feature and all develop the first feature. Once you develop the first feature automatically your business will be aligned towards that in a very very easier way.
Okay.
Maybe I'll just keep it this way. Good. So now aligning the design with the iterations and the business milestone.
Okay.
It's very important to analyze and synchronize it. We have seen that. Okay, let me tell you. Iteration is the most important part. Like let's say you found out three needs. You find out three solutions for that. Now you're testing with the user. But still the user is not feeling good. Do it one more time. You will have to ask another time. One more question. Do another research asking. Hey, you said last time this is the problem. We made a solution. But now are you satisfied? Yes. Okay, tell me how it is satisfied. It's better than this.
Okay.
Good. Document it. Improve it. If they say no, tell me why. Still this is not clarified. Or still you are not getting a grip to use it. Or still that grip is not available. Okay, let me write it down.
Okay.
Still this material sounds weight for you. Okay, we'll write it down. Okay. Still this. This. This material is very what you call not portable for you to fold it and put it in your bag. Okay. So then tell me what is the way in which you travel earlier? So I used handbag pack to carry. Okay. If you're using hand backpack to carry, then where is the place you keep your mobile standard? Write it down. See, a new insight is coming. Now. When you do an iteration, you will have a better clarity for the user why he's telling them and then you do the solution again. Iteration is very important. It ensures the business is in the proper balance. Got it? I gave you a lot of activities, no problem. But I'll tell you what, see, select a product or a stakeholder.
Okay?
I told you a lot of stakeholder. I told you a lot of business examples and all. But for you, when the activity comes, I'll tell you, okay? First select a product in your earlier project itself, okay? Go to the user and conduct two interviews with them. Gather their insights.
Okay?
Try to create a value proposition. Like let's say your client could be anything. Your client could be a business owner and maybe a craft owner or anybody.
Okay?
Understand your user need and your business goal should be matched. Create a value proposition. Tell me how business is going to get profited. Tell me how user is going to get profited. Which both sentences. Sir, if you. Let's say if you're talking to a business owner like this. Sir, if you use my idea of this mobile standard, your user will pay only half of the cost. That means you can able to sell with the huge people, right? Second, your user is going to use this for a long time because now the material is very durable. They are going to use it for one or two years. Third, you are also going to get lot of customers for this reason. Now you are going to talk to the user. Sir, ultimately your user is going to pay only less cost. Sir, your user is going to use it in a way so that it can be folded and put in a bag and carried for a longer time, right? Sir, you are going to use this feature. It looks very cool, right? Black in color, very thematic. It has a very what you call an emotion connected to it. So you're building a story also for the user, see, which is functional, usable as well as emotional. See, you're talking with the user with a different lens. You're talking to business with the different lens. Ultimately, if you're telling both of these people, this is what I'm going to give you as a value proposition. Being a designer, what happens, people will not resist to buy your product. Ultimately they will be able to subscribe for your product or service or whatever you're doing in a no matter time.
Okay?
And yeah, so you have to rank the feature also and go and pitch for it don't pitch with random stuffs. Okay, so what are the neuroscience background of it? Let me tell you guys. See, we have something called amygdala and we have something called prefrontal cortex. It's a very deep subject. But these are all the two things which we are operating. Prefrontal cortex is stabilized. Amygdala is like impulsive behavior. When somebody hits you, you go into an impulsive behavior, right? Hey, why did you hit me? Hey, why did you hit me? But have you seen somebody when they hit you also they'll be like, okay, tell me, why did you hit me? Tell me, what is the problem? Somebody will be in the calm mindset, right? Somebody will be hyper. So everybody has these two natures. If you're serving a user, you have to make the design in a way it is balancing for both users. Maybe you will not understand it very neatly, very clearly. Now I'll take a very different class for it. It's a very interesting subject as well, okay? Because when you're designing for a balanced state, only you can able to make everybody use this product. Why? Apple is very successful because they know how to balance this. They cater the need of a dynamic people. Also they cater the need of a calm people as well.
Okay?
And then it reduces your cognitive load. The moment when you are putting your design perspectives very clear. This is my user need. This is my business goal. You have a better perspective to talk to the to the people.
Okay?
It balances your business as well as the goal. This is a neuroscience background of it. And people are doing this. I told you. Increased profitability, increased customer rate, increased product success. See 32 Percentage Profits More 1.6 Percentage Retention of your customer. This is huge, guys. Very important. Double likelihood of a success when people aligned it.
Okay?
And then there are many AI tools to do it. Guys, you can take this airtail. You can take Miro. Miro is very simple. You know it. It's not a very big deal, but R table is. It organizes your business goal and user insights and metrics properly. When you open this tool, what happens is when you put your user research and business goals and everything it organizes what is your entire thing available against this metrics. Okay, maybe I'll take a live demo later, but right now no time is there because ultimately you can able to experiment these tools and try to just log in with your Gmail. Try to see the interface will be very simple. You can able to do it. Okay, you can do with Miro as well. This is very important. Miro visualizes this feature map in Miro, there is something called Miro Assist. When you go to the Miro Assist, right click. If you do summarize this entire business call, it will do it for you. You don't have to even take it to chat, GPT or other AI tools to do it. Inside Miro itself, there is an option called Miro Assist. Many of you might be using it.
Okay.
It organizes your user flow in a very creative way. Okay, so these are all the hacks you can able to try it out, guys. There are many hacks I would say, but this is really enough for you guys because ultimately you have to start using the AI tools to just get the hang of it.
Okay?
And then the importance I already told you, it balances your design decision, long term success, your stakeholder customer satisfaction and everything. So now I'll tell you guys, take out your one project and just try to find out a user and talk to them again. Are your business owner again and try to make a match once. If you're doing these two things, you will know a project what you did earlier and now it's much better. It's much clearer it having a proper value proposition to talk to the recruiters. With this clarity. When you go and approach recruiter, what happens? Definitely I'm telling you, you will have lot of calls from the recruiters. You can go and talk with them directly also in LinkedIn you can go and talk with them directly also in a phone call or email ID if you have them. But propose with the value proposition. Don't just randomly send your portfolio and wait for a reply. Nobody's going to reply you. Why would they reply you? You have to write this value proposition. See, by using this technique I have improved your product this much. Your customer is going to get this much business. Can we talk in a phone call to understand can we talk in a zoom call to get a chance for talking with you to understand it? Once you get a zoom call, then you pitch your work. Then automatically they'll call you for an interview or at least come say come. Minimum they'll give you an internship opportunity to work with them. Try it out. This is a great way to get started. Okay, so how will you, how will you balance the design? Evaluate your design using the Rice matrix and share your insight on the both the sites and make a project plan based on that once if you're doing it, you will get clarity, guys. Okay, so now I also wanted to make you clear that understanding the business goal is okay, but how to cover it like a Proper need and make a project and submit. You can able to come and learn in my 11 o' clock webinar. Okay, so people are already in our program. No problem, it's optional. You can come. You will also have some lot of insights coming in every single day. Okay, now I want everybody to go to the chat box in the in the YouTube stream and type out your top three takeaways. What did you learn now so far I've been talking, right? So what are your top three takeaways? And tell me also what project you're going to do with this. Because ultimately you should also do a project, right? It's not like you are, you are, you are leaving it. You have to ultimately do a project. You have to take your case studies and find out what is the real user me. Okay, what is the real business objective and then how do I rank it in the matrix? Which is most high, second high, third high? And how are you proposing it as a value proposition and tell me how are you going to pitch to the recruiters and then you will see the results happen because ultimately learning the skill is good. But if you take action for the next one hour now the time is 6:40. This call will end. Now type out your learnings in the chat box and I'll be pasting it in our channel as well.

Completely fine, you can go there and each of you will be seeing extra points as well because you guys are commenting a post as well as there and also make sure you copy paste the comments in YouTube.
