Day 97- Colours & Typeface Design - 100 Days 100 Skill Booster Sessions

Jagdish and instructors walk through color theory and how to use it in design, covering color wheels, complementary colors, and color harmonies. Hands-on activities help you apply these concepts to actual design work.
Just a second, just a second.
Hold on, hold on.
Okay guys, we are going to go really fast. Okay.
So.
But. But you will understand everything. Not an issue. Don't worry. I will ensure that is happening.
Okay.
Okay, this makes sense. Okay, fine, fine. Once again, guys.
Okay.
Okay guys, so what are the topic today which we are going to discuss is actually something which is related to what we have been seeing so far.
Okay?
So this topic you must have heard or maybe you know a little bit, or maybe you're not sure about this, but if you pay close attention, this is one of the vital, vital skill for a designer. We have to develop that, okay? It is not like whether I like it or not. So many people will say, sorry, one second. Many people will say, jagdish, I'm really not good at this. I. I have to improve this. It is not about whether it's mandatory or not. You have to improve it. That's it. Because these two skills, we are going to cover two skills today, okay? So pay close attention and please log in with your laptop very fast and take some of your portfolio or projects or anything that would be really helpful. Because certain activities we're going to do little with the reference of old projects.
Okay?
And this is in continuation with the aesthetics. This is in continuation with the harmony, rhythm. What? What? Entropy, balance, Everything. What we have seen so far in this last four to five days. And this is going to build on top of it, okay? See, if you guys don't know how to make a use of this particular elements to build meaningful interfaces or, or screens or product design or anything, it won't be of no use. You guys will forget what did we learn in the 12th channel? And then you. We guys are living the life, right? Including me. Same like that. After this important four or five days of session, you will go back again to your normal.
Okay?
So the three days is going to be ultimate implementation and real time application of what we guys are learning. In fact, I would say so far what we learned is a theory. The practical application comes now with the skills. Okay? So today, tomorrow, Monday, do not miss it. Very, very important days. And this is going to completely connect the whole dots. What did we saw so far? You guys will completely understand the aesthetics only when you stay till Monday. Tuesday we're going to have hackathon. That's different. But one day we are completing this with the blast.
Okay?
Are you guys excited for your career? It's up to you to implement it. Then only your career will blast or else there is no point in doing that okay, so please be very, very mindful because I told you about the two advantage and disadvantage of the skills. It's not required to learn all the skills. It's going to do user Persona. We used to do this thing and we used to make this beautiful screenshot. He said one thing. He said Apple doesn't do research. BMW doesn't do research. Why are you guys drawing on new pattern now? He asked. Then we said we have other skills to do, professor. That's how we become very unique in the value added in the company. You know what he said? He said shut up. He said the only way the designer becomes different from the developer or engineer or sales or marketing is because of aesthetics. Because rest of the things, even without you also these people can still do, right? Maybe they will not go very deep into the project like how we used to do the research. That is okay. But company can still survive, right? Even without doing substantial. Even with having a substandard product, even with having just a market, copycast, copy, copy paste product, still they can survive the market. They don't need the designer in you like they don't need Dial Shankar in their team. The company is not going to go in loss if they don't have the Al Shankar. You understand, right? That's why they are. They don't see the value in you. But, but, but, but. Important, important word. Okay, but if you guys are adding a value in terms of aesthetics, nobody can replicate that skill except you. Do you guys agree or not? Nobody can learn the skill that easily. You touch, you make a screen people are going to love. People are going to have a. Why don't you make more of that? Because they don't know how to do it. Even if they learn figma, they're going. They're not going to do it. Okay, so after completing two and a half years of masters, we came to know this secret. It's not a secret. It's a known secret. Okay, but being said, it's a known. But not a lot of people are very good at it. Even in the design community, not a lot of people are good at it. That is why I'm taking conscious attention guys to teach you guys in a step by step manner. Because at least, at least an awareness has to come from my side. It's up to you to take it forward and build on top of it. You build an empire on top of it. Who is stopping you? But to be honest, it takes a lot of time. In fact, we had an experimental workshop in the month of October for our Students, we have brought on visual designer and then we did a one day full workshop. Maybe you can ask me in the month of January, I'll give you that full day recording. We brought people from the industry. In fact, we are going to do in the January as well. That's going to come as a surprise workshop for you. So what we are doing is we are bringing the best people in the aesthetics and visual design to the community. And then we are going to teach you the skills from them. I am also going to do the basics. That's okay. I'm also going to be there. In fact, I'm also going to learn a lot of things from these people. Because aesthetics and composition is not a joke to learn. It is not just a skill, it's not just an emotion. It has to become a part of you. Then and only that reflection will truly come. And again being said, not a lot of people are very interested to do it. Lot of people who are interested are not having skills to do it. Lot of people who have skills, interest, who don't have the right mindset to implement it. That is why whatever you make, somewhere or the other, it goes wrong, it goes off, it goes ugly, it goes what you call nasty. Everything will come. Okay, so please understand this. I think now you guys will be really understanding what are the point. Okay, so this particular three days implementation, today what we are going to see is exactly called color. Colors. And I will say I'll tell the next one. Okay, wait, hold on. First, let's see this presentation. Okay, can you see my screen, guys? Colors. Okay, so you guys are building screens with harmony, rhythm. And then we are, we are applying all of the law of third. We're doing everything. But the point is you should know how to make it appealing, how to make it come into the real time, real time world, right? How to. How to make the people see it? How will they see it? They will only see it through the colors. Guys, even if you're using monochrome, that's okay. That's also a color, right? So color is the ultimate part of the design element.
Okay?
So you guys might not know deeply about it, but please do understand this is a very short presentation, what I'm making. But from here you should take it. Everybody can give me the commitment type C in the chat box if you guys are going to take it further. It's not just ending here because honestly speaking, it takes a lot of time for us to go and teach deeply. That is not possible. And I'm not even committed to anybody, okay? It's all covered inside the courses, but the basics and everything. I mean, we do have a 160 hour of recording of color courses detail in our, in our archive batch. Okay, so you guys can go and access it. That will be activated in the month of January. And yeah, I told you, as a cloud storage problem. We are giving this for the people in the job special. But it is possible, it is there. We have two sessions in the color. We have another session called editorial design. Like this will be completely a final touch. What you guys can make it, you guys can go and learn it.
Okay?
But here I'm going to giving you the basics, how you can get started. Okay, so first colors, dominant primary colors. How do I verify it? Complementing each other. Strong accent, right? Do you, I mean, can you relate it to this three sentences? Have you heard somewhere, do you know about it? Tell me. Type out in the chat. Have you heard about this? Go ahead, rgb. Okay, yes, yes, yes.
Okay.
A few people are a little bit knowing about it. Even villages would recognize color checker with color wheel. Okay, so first of all I'll talk about little basics of color. Okay, so what is this color about? One second, guys, one second, one second. Just a second. Okay, yeah, can you see my screen? Okay, so have you heard about these colors? Have you heard about color wheel? How many of you know what is color wheel? Have you heard about color wheel? Have you heard about the color wheel? Like what do you know about color wheel? Can you tell me in one line please? Can you tell me in one line please? Come on, Just a second, guys, one second, hold on. What does mean by color wheel? How many of you are very well versed in the color wheel and other things? Tell me, Jagdish, I know all the color wheel. Like let's say the order, everything completely. One second, guys, just a second, hold on. Oh, something is off. Guys, hold on. Oh my God. One second, guys. Yeah, so until then, please type your answers, please. I just wanted your answer. Just a second, okay? Just a second please. Okay, so what is mean by color wheel? What is according to you? Like more colors will be there. Pish. Hey, you're joking. Spectrum of colors. That's okay. But. But yeah, spectrum is the right word to put it. But what else you know about color wheel? Can you tell me please? Can you tell me please? Color wheel is a mix of primary, secondary. That's interesting, Yukta. I really like that answer.
Okay.
It's a mix of everything. Good, good, good, good. What else? What else? What else? What else? Used to create contrasting color schemes. That's interesting.
Okay, okay. Okay.
That's also fine. Then what else? Then what else? How many of you know this? How many of you know this color wheel? Exactly. Looks like this. Okay, so manually speaking, if you wanted to really do a color wheel, okay, it's a very simple activity, Even shape, like, let's say square or something. Then you see in the color wheel, okay, blue is there. Okay, how do I create this blue? So first of all, start with the primary colors. Primary colors is very simple. Take the yellow, paint it, cut the swatch. Okay, cutting the swatch, you can have it later. But you can first have a colors color.
Okay.
Then go for. Okay, Green. Okay. Blue.
Okay, let's.
Okay, how do I create this? Secondary colors. So now take the same yellow color paste. Take the blue color paste. Mix it. 50, 50 percentage. Okay, let's see how you guys are doing it. Mix it. Play around. No, people will see that. Hey, what happened to you? Are you a kid or something? You've gone back to your olden days? It's okay. No problem. Let them say, okay, mix it and then paint it. If you guys paint it automatically, it'll be a mix of red and blue. You'll be getting it. Okay, take that color, mix it well and just paint it part of it. Like, let's say if you look at it very closely, when you mix these two colors, you will get this color. If you mix red and orange, you will get little bit of red, orange. Am I right or not? If you guys mix this, you will get this. If you guys mix this, you will get yellow. If you guys mix yellow and green, you will get this yellow, green.
Okay?
So when you do a manual painting, okay, when you mix two colors, when you mix two primary colors, you will get a little bit of secondary colors.
Okay?
And when you have to take it out, like, let's say, can you guys see this picture? Wait, I'll. I'll show you one picture. It's going to be very helpful. Yeah, I don't know. Unfortunately, it got missed in my ppt. Okay, so yellow, blue, green.
Right?
I mean, sorry. Yellow, blue, red. This is the primary primary colors. So you guys can read this one. Primary, Primary, primary. This is one common color wheel which I've taken from the online guys. Okay, and also, what are the complimenting colors here? Like let's say green, orange, purple. Why? It is complimentary. What is mean by complimentary? Tell me the word meaning complimentary. Guys, what is complimenting? Compliment?
We.
We go to the. We go to the shop and finally they give something.
Right?
So this is a complimentary. Sir, please take it. What is that complimentary? Tell me, tell.
Me.
Type out in the chat. Guys, what is complementing? Nobody's typing. What is mean by complimenting?
Complementary color is one secondary color which doesn't have another primary color. These two are complementary colors.
Okay, that's a technical way of putting it. But yes, a very, very simple way to put it is if you guys are building a color palette. Yes, exactly. Yukta. Perfectly right here, opposite color. So what is complementary is like let's say if you have a white background, if you put white text on top of it, will it be visible? Tell me. No, not visible, right? If you put black, what happens? It's exactly create a contrast. But if you wanted to create a very good harmony and a rhythm of colors which is going to be soothing as well as having some kind of a little, little what you call coming out of the background and the foreground, then actually that colors are complementing each other.
Okay?
Normally it is very easy to find the complementing colors in the color wheel. It's just because of opposite lines I just shown you now here. If you want to use a green color as your background, the best color to put as a complementing colors is red. If you are guys using yellow as a foreground, the best colors to use it as a complementary is purple, the blue, orange, something like that. Okay, so complementing colors is very important. Like let's say when you're building, building your posters, when you're building your case studies, when you're building any kind of visual design and other thing. Without the basics understanding of this color wheel concept, you won't be able to deliver the proper designs. Even if you do it, it becomes nasty. Okay, can you guys see this? Can you guys understand this? It's a very simple analogy to understand. If you guys mix this, you will get this color. If I mix this, you will get this color. I told you in the circle way. Now it is like in the ven diagram format. And if you do everything, it will become black. Okay, getting it. I'll tell you a practical activity. Okay, listen to me. How many of you have colors in your house? Not sketch pen colors, paint, paint, pastel colors or, or maybe acrylic colors or watercolors, something like that you have in your house. Who has it? Three people has it. What about others? Guys, I'll tell you one simple activity, okay? Today go to the shop, get one watercolor kit, okay? It's going to be 100 rupees or 200 rupees. Not much. Don't buy the expensive ones. Okay, get one tray, 20, 30 rupees. Tray will be there.
Okay.
Get two brushes. One is the big brush and small brush. Okay.
Do it.
Take one color printout from a color wheel of the in the shop.
Okay.
Take a very good image. If you guys wanted to take anyone good image, take a color printout and keep it in the A3 sheet color printout.
Okay.
Keep it near you. Keep it in your wall or something. Try to copy the same colors and create swatches. What does mean by swatches? What does mean by swatches? Okay, swatches is nothing. You will have to take a chart paper, okay. And try to paint the green color on one side. Like let's say if you're starting with the green. Okay. Try to space the color on the green and try to cut it with the even shape. Are you guys getting. Should have some even shape.
Okay.
It's a very simple activity. Even shape, like let's say square or something. Then you see in the color wheel. Okay, Blue is there. Okay, how do I create this blue? So first of all, start with the primary colors. Primary colors is very simple. Take the yellow, paint it. Cut the swatch. Okay, cutting the swatch. You can have it later. But you can first have a colors color.
Okay.
Then go for. Okay, green. Okay, blue.
Okay, let's.
Okay, how do I create this secondary colors? So now take the same yellow color paste. Take the blue color paste. Mix it 50, 50 percentage. Okay, Take that color, mix it well and just paint it. Okay, Go for the secondary color. Go for the other secondary. Other secondary. Okay, paint it and cut it. Try to cut everything and try to arrange it linearly. Okay, Try to arrange it linearly from the color wheel. Start your color wheel from somewhere and draw one circle. If you guys want. If you guys can take the plate which is there in your house, no eating plate, put it inverted. Draw a circle.
Okay.
Try to create a concentric circle around it. And try to cut this swatch in this V shape so that it forms a color wheel kind of a circle.
Okay.
And this will be Easy activity till now.
Okay.
You can do it in one or two hours also no problem. But the difficulty comes here. If you guys are trying to arrange the color wheel in that particular format, you guys will find some abrupt jump happening in your color. From the red to green. It will be very, very high transition. No, that should not happen. You should have one or two shades in between.
Okay.
It's not like you're only pasting one color. You guys are going to paste two colors as well in between that. So that from the red to green, the transition becomes very subtle. If you guys wanted to do a little subtle, then you try to swatch another paint with red and blue. Because you need to match that swatch, right? Oh no, it's still not matching. A little more lighter. If you want to add a little more lighter, then add white to it.
Okay.
Then add more greens to it.
Do it.
Try to do it manually. You will understand that if you. If you guys do it manually only by. By seeing that color wheel. Exact color. What did I get? No, it's no way correct. No, the jump seems very high. Okay, let me add little white. No, no, no. White is not. We have to add black because darkness is required. Okay, we'll have to add more green. Then you go to Google, find out if I have to make it very, very darker green. What should I do? Learn it. Mix it, Paint it. If you're happy, keep it. Okay, cut it. If you wanted to create a perfect color wheel, it will take one day. Guys, for you, you will never do any mistakes of color in your lifetime. Will be absolutely clear on your basics.
Okay?
But it's a trial and error activity. Nobody can give a rulebook or. Or first time go. You know, we did a module called Color in our program. My faculty toned my color sheet. Not just me. For most of the people, I did seven to eight iterations of color because every time it was up jump, there is no subtle jump happening. What happens if you do all the color works and then you wash your hands? Colors will take a lot of your. This what you call dress. Everything will go okay. We used to wear the apron and the colors and all these things. And after. After two hours of standing, we paint it and then we cut it and put it in the swatch and the color will show the aparam jump. I used to go and take it from my friends. Whoever has that same shade. Hey, please give me. I will just cut it with them and then I will turn them and then I'll cut them. Because we used to swatch we used to make extra swatches, right? And we used to have this mutual understanding. Hey, you give this red, I will give you this blue. I am missing with the little shades of blue. And then because if you are submitting, the assignment only will be taken for the next session. Will be taken for the next modules.
Okay?
NID doesn't have marks as such, but they will, they will make you pass fail. You guys can go to the next module only when you pass.
Okay?
There is no marks for that. So they will only compare your performance with your earlier semester performance. How many of you are feeling excited? This is what is B education. BHOS education doesn't have mark system. They compare your performance. They compare your performance with your performance in the last semester. The jury people who is going to have your file, they will see exactly. Or whatever earlier semester marks. I mean the. The particular scores, the feedbacks, what the jury gave and the assignment works whatever has been given. If I'm really weak in colors this, this particular semester or something. Next time the first question will be show me your colors. You'll have to show the product finally, how did you improve? Or else it's going to be complete blast. They'll rape you. Not in the sense that manner, but yeah, the questions will come too much because it's not an exam points or maybe something like that kind of a question. It's all about abstracting nature, right? So you'll have to really work hard to find the sweet spot. So color wheel is one of the important skill, guys. This is the best, best way to learn colors. Go to shop, get a color acrylic painting. What I would say watercolors is much easier. You will feel much difficult if you use acrylic or other, what you call other painting. Okay, take the watercolors. Take one tray, two, three different, different holes. Get two brushes. One is a bigger one and smaller one. Okay, get two, three chart papers, white color preferably. And then try to take a color print out of a color wheel, start copying that and do it. It's very difficult to do it in just six split, guys. Very, very difficult. But if you guys do it in 12 splits, it will be much easier. If you guys do it in 24 splits, it will be much easier. But that is, that will become very easy. You guys will do easily 24 wheels. But if you guys do it in 12 splits, it will be much, much challenging as well. Because if you make a little abrupt jump, it will be clearly shown. So exactly what I'm talking about is this, this is what Is the thing. Okay, hold on. How do I say? How do I say? How do I say? Okay, I'll give you an example. Then you guys will be able to. Yes. At least try to do this, this, this kind of a thing. Okay, so can you see some subtle jump is there. There is no big abrupt jump perfectly. It is blended subtle jump. Subtle jump, subtle jump. Imagine if I put red and yellow next to it, what will happen? It's a abrupt jump, right? We can't do like even if this is also not accepted. So the adjacent color should be little subtle and you be the visual judger. Nobody can judge you. And same goes for this.
So.
And it has to rhythmically connect to the final color again.
Okay.
To yellow, to orange, to green, to blue, to purple, and then finally red. Okay, Try this. At least you guys try with this color. This, this kind of a palette.
Okay.
You don't have to go very extensively high. Like, like how in the design institution other people do. We used to do seven, eight iterations of color wheel. Even one week after that, people still don't submit color wheel. It's because of this reason big time problem we have in color wheel.
Okay.
Yes. We used to do like this way. Can you see how much shades is happening? It's a little different and different, different, complex. And everything will go into the white. It takes a lot of time for you guys to do it.
Okay?
And this will be the best way to do cut the, cut the color swatches with this kind of a shapes guys like a little inverted truncated cone. Try to arrange it.
Okay?
Put a plate picture, I mean put a plate, draw the circle, cut it. Because that is the most, most, most fastest and best, best way to learn colors. Nothing else. If you guys wanted to know more about primary colors, secondary colors, adjacent colors, complementary colors, and you wanted to register it for the rest of your life, that is the fastest way to learn. Nothing else is there beyond that. Trust me. Okay, Getting it clear, guys. Will you do it today? Type D in the chat box. If you guys will do it today, type D in the chat box. You guys have a little bit completed the ideation session, right? Why don't you try it today? Now the time is 7, 7:30. Right after this session, go for the shop. Get it, do it. No, before inner circle call comes, show it to me. Don't do it in sketch pen. This is not a sketch pen activity, okay? This is a colors. You will have to lively mix the colors and take the output from that.
Okay?
So these are little color harmonies. So I Will tell why harmony is important in color. See, if you pick colors randomly, if you pick colors very, very approprly, you will not be able to get exactly the aesthetics whatever you guys are building.
Okay?
So that is why the color harmonies are very important. Okay, the first color harmony, what I would say is complimentary. I think we have discussed about it, right? Blue and orange. If you guys really wanted to understand, hey Jagdish, I'm having this blue as a background. So if I have to create a complementing colors for that, what would I do? What would I keep? The best answer will come in the opposite side of the color wheel. Very simple. If you wanted to create a triadic rhythm and you wanted to still keep it in a harmonic way, you guys can take the exact triangle shape, draw 120° this equilateral triangle and then look and change this triangle to a different different shades. Like let's say if you put it in blue, you will get another three combination. If you put it in orange, you will get another three combination. If you put it in yellow, you will get another three combination. But triadic is little harmonious in nature. And also monochromatic. What is monochromatic? I think it's pretty common. We know about it, right? We can create a harmony with respect to the same color. Starting from its highest level to the lowest level. The more whites you add from the black, the color will become shaded. Only single color you are playing with, it's called monochrome. Like let's say it could be white and black, it could be blue, it could be light, light blue to dark blue, it could be light green to dark green. So single color, when you are adding more of whites and whites and whites and whites and whites, it becomes finally pure white. And then if you, if you start removing the white from it, Ideally speaking, if you add black to it, what happens? This goes and produces the monochromatic spectrum of colors.
Okay?
And this is split complementary. What is split complementary? How many of you have used this split complementary? If you mix these two colors, you will get this and are you guys getting it? It's a split complementary. And there is something called analogous. Practically speaking, I have not even implemented all these things even in my. What you call usage of colors, portfolio visuals or anything. But it's just good to know it's not mandatory, but complementary colors, triadic colors, monochrome, these three will be predominantly used by you. Because if you wanted to touch a very good harmony, you should know how to get that harmony. And that harmony will only come by trial. And errors we can't exactly tell even in the blue and orange will look good. Sometimes your adjacent colors will take away the attention. So you will have to know how to play around with the harmony. You'll have to be little safer around it. You will have to remove the colors, you will have to create the less distraction. And you will have to keep only blues and orange in the screen so that the complementary colors are well seen. So it all comes with the little trial and error only. You can't. You can't get it in the first go very easily. Okay, so this is the part of it. Okay, so intuition, I already told you, right? Colors is all about feeling. It's not about exactly putting the values and getting it. It's all about the intuition and the feelings what you have. And don't worry about percentage. Like let's say if you guys are. If you guys are what you call. If you guys are seeing about the percentage of colors, like let's say 30 percentage, 40 percentage, 50 percentage, 60 percentage, 70 percentage color it is okay, but you feel the percentage which is ideally matching for you.
Okay.
Even when you're using Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma on any other screens, sometimes you feel the opacity is 70%. Sometimes you feel the red gradient and Blue gradient is 60%, 50%. You always have to feel it intuitively whether it's okay or not, whether it is looking good or not for this particular color. So that intuition is going to make you clear that this is a perfect harmony. This is a perfect harmonious way of showing that.
Okay.
Now can you relate to harmony? I think we saw more about harmony deeply in the last sessions, right? So we saw mostly harmony pictures, harmonica examples what people took. It's all mix of colors. Like imagine the pre tree picture. You guys remember Sumana has showed one tree picture. Many people have shown this tree pictures only. And including me, I also shown that example so many times. What happens is the color plays a huge role in terms of getting the harmonious feeling inside you. And truly, truly that is a feeling. It's not a. It's not a rule book to really understand that. Fine, Clear. So now I wanted you guys to pick any one primary colors or maybe a mix of primary and secondary colors or maybe complementary colors. And show me one painting which is reflecting that one painting. Or maybe you can take any online image or something.
Okay.
It should either reflect primary or secondary colors or Sumana is very fast. Okay, that's good. It will come to the topic Sumana. Wait, wait.
Okay, so.
And also bring One picture which is showing the primary and secondary colors. Tell me this. This is primary, this is secondary and this is complementing colors. See, look at this. Just one example. Can we all try it? Go to the Google. Take one, one or two minutes. Try to bring that picture. Okay, so now that's fine. Did you do it now?
I have done it long back to teach my students.
Teach your students. Oh, you're teaching colors to them. Interesting. Okay, maybe next time I'll call you. As a faculty, you can teach here anytime. Good.
Good. Yeah.
So can everybody now take one picture? One picture. One. Enough.
Okay.
You don't have to do multiple.
Okay.
Are you guys getting it?
Okay. Okay.
Sumana. Sumana, I'm not worried about you. Punish. Can you explain what is this? Go ahead. I wanted you to open your mic and explain. Not in the text please. Okay. We have little time.
Yeah.
Sir, I think it. It maybe comes in analogous color.
Green.
Light green.
Yellow.
I can understand that. Because it is not just many colors. It's not a color wheel. Example. Okay, good. Okay. Shivraj, what about you? Red and green. What is that? Tell me. Yeah, it is just complimentary color. Just so did you check the color wheel? Exactly. Yes.
Okay, good.
What about you, Ramraj? It shows the primary colors. Red, blue, yellow. And. And it also shows the secondary color.
Green.
Huh?
Orange. No, no, no. I'm asking about that strawberry picture. Strawberry picture is a red. So it showed the primary color.
Okay.
And green is the secondary color. Okay, fine. Take it very strong. No, this is having a little mix. See, the red is more here. There is no. There is no balance and harmony here.
Okay.
Choose one picture which is showcasing that primary color or secondary color or complementing color.
Anything.
Okay, Try one more time. Can you do it now?
Yes.
Sumana. So what is that blue color? I'm not able to understand that. Harmony.
This one actually is a. You can say abstract but like a form of a lady.
That's good. How are you relating to the color here? Tell me.
Colors. So all the blue are the water. And this flower is representing the heart which is red. And the yellow is coming the like inner light.
Okay. Okay.
Yeah. But I can understand that you're. You're trying to convey an art and an abstract meaning.
That's okay.
But if you can able to explain about the spectrum of colors, how is it going to help? And definitely contrast is there. Visual beauty is there. But if you could decipher that the color, that would be better.
Okay.
But anyway fine, not a problem. I think you are already having some Clarity around it. Okay fine. Next is Chitra. Chitra. What is that? Primary color. Interesting. Here. Very good. It's a little mix of all the colors. Beautiful way to express colors.
Okay.
Shivraj. What is that? Shivraj Flowers with the. What is that? Hey, don't red take some other.
Okay.
You're always taking green and red take some other. J, what is that? Ah, wonderful example. J. Come on explain. I wanted you to explain. House. J, are you here? Can you open your mic please first. Hello. J, are you left.
Are you okay?
I think she left. Oh she's there. Hey come on open your mic. Okay fine. Let's go for the others.
Okay.
Sumana again. Yes. Sumana. How do I understand this gradient? Pikaka. What is that?
This is a duck.
Okay, interesting.
Okay.
Can you guys see gradient in that color in Sumana's text box? See we can also do gradient. There is no problem. But let's understand some basic blocks of colors as a primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Okay, let's understand split common. Let's understand complementary and. And this basic triadic colors. That's enough for now. Gradients we can explore little later. Not a problem. But. Okay fine. That's good. Yukta. Yukta. What is that? Yukt. Super example. Yukta has taken perfect example. I really like that. Can you explain? Yukta?
Actually it is a complementary color.
Superb. This is what I'm exactly asking for. Guys. Super example and depiction of complementary. Yes. Dial. Superb. Like same. Like Chitra. You also put a different. Different spectrum of colors. That's good.
Okay.
Aishwarya. Love it. Wonderful. What is this? Aishwarya. But tell me that you are just splashing with the colors. But can you tell me what is that? Please can you tell me what is that? What Contrast.
Too much of color shadows are being highlighted.
Tell me.
No, see the. Basically the shadows are.
Hello, we can hear you. Tell me.
Hello.
Ah, we can hear you here.
So the shadows. Yeah, the shadows are being like. You know highlight these. They are not highlighted. But then they have been prominent in this with the primary color.
Okay.
Like conveying the art to like the conveying the hallway or like conveying the art to something. And the light coming from that is getting highlighted. And then this contrast is also getting boosted up like this. This contrast is also seen prominently without that yellow down the like. Hello. Everyone else is complementing the red. Of course if that is not available then. So then the combination will not be seen that perfectly. So I think like that I don't have.
Okay.
That's okay. But my question is harmonious. Is it rhythmic? Is it entropy? Is it symmetric? Is it balanced? Tell me what is this balanced? I would say balance is good. But color balance, is it having a color balance?
No, but then it is like. I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.
You'll have to find it. That's your answer. Okay, good. Fine. You have started. But fully thing is not available.
Okay.
Yes. Sameer. Wonderful. How many of you can see Sameer? Sameer, can you give some explanation for it please? Samir Padnikar, are you here? Wonderful. I just want to hear from you. I don't know on what artistic angle you took that.
Okay.
Shivraj. Good, good. Okay. Yes. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah. So it's basically harmony of colors. So I'm not sure like what it.
Is but red, orange and blue, like.
We are using that three colors. Three different colors. And it's creating harmony of colors.
So trying like mixing colors and trying.
Out different shades, palettes. What you put in the bottom of the picture, it is depicting that, right?
Yes.
That's interesting. Let me show you guys. Wait, so maybe you guys might not see this.
Okay. Yeah.
Can you see? It's a wonderful picture to depict harmonious of colors. See, it's not about colors. So we should know how to use this primary and secondary colors to create a very good harmony. And that will come only by playing with the colors a lot. It will not come by just just looking at it or learning it in a theory.
Okay.
And you'll have to feel it. You'll have to consciously do it. And also I told you there is one very good software which can help you to learn this thing. I'll just show you guys little fast.
Hold on. Okay.
I think we know about this, right? The. The coolers. I told you about that. You guys can take the example and other thing around it. Hold on, hold on one second guys. Hold on, hold on. Yes, list of colors. So I'm just sharing you the screen.
Okay.
This is one very, very fastest way to also understand how the tool really works.
Hold on.
Yeah, can you see this? So this is a coolest website. I think I've already shared with you guys.
Okay.
So you can, you can find lot of colors, tint shades, RGB and CMYK color codes in this particular site.
Okay.
So you can see this. All shades are available. Like let's say if you want to see green you can find all the shades and tints of green like this. What is shades and tints? I already told you. That anybody can recollect. What is shades and tints? Can you tell me what is shades and tints? I think we have discussed that. Okay, this is brown, like somewhat adjacent to the colors in the color wheel of the brown. It will all be displayed here.
Okay.
And the pastel colors, everything will be displayed. If you take orange. Okay, so you can take. So the beauty about this is when you go and click on top of it, automatically, the color code copies. You go and take your PPT or PDF or the Canva or Figma or whatever, and then you guys can copy that automatically. It creates a very good harmony. And the color, whatever you're looking for, like this is blue. You can see this. So many shades and colors is already there. But if you wanted to go a little deeper into it, go to this, you can go to browse gradients, not gradients, I would say, I would say, I would say color picker color. Okay. Yeah, look at this. I've just taken an example of this green color.
Okay.
But you guys can pick whatever color you want. Like let's say the more white you go and add to the green, it will become a different color code. It will become a different color. The more black you add, it becomes a complete black.0000 okay. If you wanted to create something like this, if you want to add to this end again, black, it will become. Okay, so you guys know that white, black is all added in order to create that kind of a mix of colors, right? Even when you do it manually in the, in the, in the, in the watercolors and all you guys are literally going to do. But software does it very precisely. But you guys have to do it manually to find out.
Right?
So this is the way to do. And what is this Jagdish, what is this rgb? Cmyk. How many of you know this rgb? We know red, green, blue. Right. How many of you know cmyk?
That is also a color code which is used primarily majorly used for printing and other things.
Exactly. So CMYK is majorly used in printing industry as well as it provides a variety and spectrum of colors. What are the abbreviation of cmyk? Cyan, yellow, magenta and black, I think.
They call it.
What happens is when the printing industry, when this particular color codes are having some difference in the color while they're printing it in a larger scale, like particularly in magazine industry, newspaper, it will be an indication for the people also to change that. So all of you take your newspapers. On the top right corner, you will see these four colors. CMYK okay? And those of the, those are the things in the printing industry. But when you take in the digital industry, it's not a big deal. Okay, it's, it's available in the distance. But there is a difference, particularly when you use older softwares like let's say CorelDraw and other older version of it. Sometimes the color code, what you guys give red is different, but when you view it in the other screen, the red will be little different. Because this red is taken in the rgb, the value will be very different, but the CMYK values will be very different. So it is very good to understand and communicate to your developer. What is the value you've taken for the rgb? What are the value you've taken for the cmyk? And you don't have to worry about it right now. This option is already going to be taken from the FIGMA itself. You guys don't have to worry. If you go go and open Figma, you can see in the right hand side there'll be an option called Inspect. It will automatically give the HTML CSS code along with this exact value. How many of you have observed that? How many of you observed that? It's already there. It's already there. And you don't have to worry right now. The handoff for the developer has become very easy. Being a designer, you don't have to think much. So this is the value. Can you see it here? The hexagonal code will look like this. The RGB value will look like this. What is this? Jagdish? So this is all about pixels, guys. When you take any particular screen, like let's say if I have to really.
Oh, what is this?
Okay, if I have to really take this, okay, there'll be that each and every, every screens will be split into pixels. Something like this.
Okay?
Okay, each and every screens will be split into pixels. So you guys know each of our computer and everything has been using pixels and nothing, I'm just drawing you very roughly and crudely. So each of this value, like let's say if this is zero. Okay, like let's say this is zero.
Oh, sorry.
Okay, this is zero. Okay, this may be one. Okay, this may be two, this may be three. So something like that. The numbers will be there. Okay, so the more you are able to find out which color you want, like let's say. So you are saying this is the color, right? Like let's say, hey, I want this light t shadow. We can't tell light t shadow to anybody. People will get confused you tell me in which pixel, in which axis, in this orientation this color is there. If you copy that color code and then communicate to the developer, or maybe the designer who's in the other end, who is having the design system with you, he will be able to exactly replicate it. But you will have to tell what is the value. Whether it's RGB value, the CMYK value out of the hex quotes. Hex code is mostly used in this what you call development build.
Okay?
So understand what is the codes, what your developer needs and communicate it accordingly. There is something called hsb, hsl. That's okay guys, but learn this two, three things. First of all, that's, that's more importantly used mean you don't have to worry much about the other terminologies, but this is what is the predominantly used ones.
Okay?
And you guys can understand now what is mean by sheets. I already told you, when you add black to this, like let's say a little bit black, little more, little more, little more, little more. Until you make it completely dark, pitch black. This is called shade. A shade is created by adding black to base color, increasing its darkness. Shade appears most dramatic and richer, right? See, the more black you go, the rich it will be. Let's see, I'm having a black color. Okay, Sometimes it looks very rich, but same goes away. In some culture, black is a bad signal. Black is like, oh no, something ill has happened. People go to the death, they wear the black color. So even for the context and the culture, it predominantly changes. So you should not be very rigid and fix it towards 1:1 culture or 1:1 colors. I will only do this. I already told you, being a designer, we need to be more liberal and open.
Okay?
But you should know the basics clearly. So, okay, what is tints? Jagdish tint is created by adding white to it. It's exactly opposite to it. Shade, black, tint, white. Remember these two words so that you guys will understand.
Okay?
Can you type out in the chat, shade, black, tint white. Can you write it? If you guys write it again and again, you will understand it better. Can you do it? What Jagdish? You're asking me like a kid. Do it. Guys, you'll forget it.
Okay?
Do it. You'll forget it for sure.
Okay, okay.
Oh, a lot of people have typed out pictures. Hey guys, fine, let me come to it.
Okay?
Shade, black, tint, white. Superb. Super. Because we will, we will never forget what is tones. Jagdish, A tone is created by adding gray to a base color. What is gray color? It's a mix of white and black, right? If you add gray to it, you get a different kind of a harmony. You get a different kind of a rhythmic feel. You get a different kind of a vibe and emotion, right? So when you're increasing this to the gray color, automatically the lightness also increases. Tone looks more sophisticated and complex than the base color. See, this looks very primitive, right? But this looks a little complex when you guys are using some gradations, some gradients and then all these colors will be there. Okay, next is hues. What is this hues? Jagdish hues refers to the basic family of colors from red to violet. Like let's say in this particular context. I'm saying okay, in this particular color, green. Like let's say from the red to violet. Use our variation of the base color and color wheel. Remove this, what you call red to violet. Guys, plug in with the color, whatever you are choosing, okay? Here the hues are the variation of the base color on the color wheel. When you take the color wheel, when you take the base color of it, when you go from the variation to this to that, okay, like let's say from the green to blue, take the two colors. When you take yellow or red or whatever the color is, take from that variation, whatever is the gradation which is happening same similarly how you guys do the color wheel. No, that is exactly called hues. It is always safer to play with the hues because when you don't have color option, when you don't have left with more of options from your client or something, it is very, very smarter to use hues because your colors will also look very harmonious and also it will look more rhythmic and homogeneously balanced. And also it will look aesthetically pleasing. Imagine if you bring two, three colors, what will happen? It will become Khichdi. That's why I always prefer hues. If you wanted to, like let's say people tell no, like let's say Jagdish. I have fever, I have cold, I have stomach pain. You take Saradon, they take. Then you take paracetamol. Paracetamol is a one shot guy. He will do everything. Okay, so that's what people take it on a safer side. So this is like that. If you guys are too much confused with this, even for the type face, I would say okay, if you guys are too much confused with this, consider Helvetica. That's it. You will be in a safer side. It will look harmonious, it will look rhythm it will look beautiful. It will be safer side same like that in colors. Always try to use one share of colors from this hues range.
Okay.
Many times people also say use black and white. You know, many times it won't work. Sometimes you need a colors to splash it out, right? So choose this one color of hues. What happens is you will be very, very safe inside it. Like let's say if you're building a case study, if you're building a very big project, okay. If you want to know which colors to use for headings, subheadings or borders or colors or maybe the outline of the pictures. If you want to create a rhythmic meaning out of it, like let's say same language, it's good to use hues. You choose any color. No, in that, in that color wheel. Like let's say brown to the next adjacent color or to the red to the yellow or green. You choose whatever colors you want. Try to play around. If you guys are a little bit confused, you can use this tool. Because this tool will completely help you Open the screen.
Okay.
Open your project. Also take out this entire use copy paste this color code. See how subtly it is changing. Can you see it's not upper jump? Can you see there is an upper jump here? No, it's beautifully played. So. And then when you take this variations and when you put it in your work, it will look super, super harmonious. The most, most safer way to do getting it. Guys, type H in the chat box. If you guys understanding Hughes. Hue is equal to paracetamol. Helvetica is equal to paracetamol.
Okay.
Anytime when you, when you're confused, which type is to use like this, Will it okay or not? Now I am having a playful kind of a nature. Now I am having a formal kind of a nature. Will it be okay or not? Don't think much, just apply Helvetica. That's it. You will get it.
Okay.
Temperature colors are often divided into cool and warm according to how we perceive them, right? Greens and blues are cool while red and yellows are warm. So for temperature, I would show you one example. Guys, wait. You will understand this better. Can you see this color chart?
Okay.
And to be honest, guys, what happened? I'll tell you, okay?
Okay.
I'll tell you after this. Wait.
Okay.
Color wheel. Can you see this? Primary colors, we already know that.
Okay.
Secondary colors, we already seen that. But the interesting thing is warm and cool colors. What does it mean by warm colors? What do you mean by warm colors?
I think having with a With a shade of yellow, like. Or you feel one warmthness in it. As in like. As in like. See that color appears to be like. I don't know, See like candescent bulb. Like a candesen bulb is more warmer than the normal fluorescent bulb we have. Right?
So temperature something that's a body warmness you're seeing, right? Color, visual warmness. Can you tell?
Yeah, similar to that, I think.
Okay, fine, you're almost there. But you're not able to exactly put it in the right words. Okay, it's fine guys. See, warm colors, cool colors. We are actually perceiving it, right? It can be done for any colors. Not a problem. But the major point is mostly it is actually been referred to yellow, orange and red because people associate warm to this. Again, it differs to culture to culture. But predominantly, universally it's called like that. There are some extreme ends of people also who really argue with this, but that is. Okay, fine, but let's understand with whatever you have in front of the screen now.
Okay?
Cool colors mostly they'll talk about blues, they'll talk about light blues, they'll talk about little darker blues and ranging from blue to violet. They call it as a cool colors, okay? And complementary colors. I already told you about this. Monochromatic colors. You can take any colors and go very deeply into that color and create one shade of that. That's called monochromes.
Okay?
And tertiary colors will come out of the primary colors. You guys can come out of the secondary colors. You guys can understand.
Okay?
But analogous and all these things. Let's not worry much about it. Wait, okay? Because if you confuse too much with one day then you will get into a big, big problem. Yeah.
Yeah.
This one is better to explain you guys.
Okay?
I think tint add white colors, hue, two different colors and going into the shadation of it, monochrome, single color going in variation, grayscale, primary, second. Right? So understand this. They have called it as a tone, but ideally you can call it as a shade. That's not a big deal. Okay, look at the color wheel, how subtle it is. From red, from orange to little bit of red to darker red to little bit of in between red and violet. Mix it. When you guys wanted to really make the color wheel superly happen. Take a color printout as I said, and then keep it in front of you and paint it automatically. You will be getting the shades and you arrange that picture and then take a copy in the photo in the phone and send it to me automatically. I will find out first of all, you will itself know whether that color wheel is right or not. Nobody needs to tell you from the outside. Okay, so think about it. And yeah, so what I could say. Yeah, cmyk, you can see but don't have to learn everything. Guys, it will be very confusing.
Okay. Okay.
So then I'll tell you something which is interesting called.
Sorry, I would like to add here.
Yeah, tell me.
So basically color is coming from like derived from the light.
Okay.
So Sir Isaac Newton has experimented this and he invented that color wheel and he started this with one prism. The sunlight is coming to the prism and it is breaking into seven colors. Which is VIP jar.
Correct. Makes sense.
So now in the color wheel we don't have black and white because as per the light color, like there is no. There is dark and extreme dark and extreme light. So when you are going towards extreme dark, that is. What are you calling it? Tint. Yeah, extreme light is extreme darkest shade.
Okay, lightest.
Yeah, shade, Right, sorry. And tint is when you are going towards the white gray.
Wait one second, you're confusing me. What is shin? What is shade? What is tint? Shade is black, tint is white.
Okay.
If you add gray. Yeah, that's different. Okay, Grace, just now I forgot. Okay, one second, wait, I forgot tone and uses different colors in the basic variation. Okay, that's the three terms, if you remember. That's enough.
Yeah. Hue is a pure color. What is the like purest, like pigment is there in that particular color?
Yeah, the variations exactly.
That is basically red, red, yellow, blue. That has only red and only yellow and only blue and whatever mixing colors are there. So in that whatever colors you are mixing in it. So red to blue is violet. So what is the percentage of red and blue? That is the tint. Sorry, that is a hue.
Yeah. You have to do it in a gradual way. It's not like a fixed percentage. You'll have to do it gradually. 10, 20, 30 and then you reach the 100. So what you're trying to say someone. I'm not able to connect the dots.
The missing part is the like from where the color theory is coming.
Okay, this is a good question. To be very honest, there is one mistake from my side. I lost the main presentation of the color ppt. I was just trying to open Google and show you. What happened is in my Google Drive yesterday night I saw that, but now I'm not able to go. So what happens is in the color theory I just explain you about the basics of this color wheel and other things. And then we used to do One small activity and then we go for the primary secondary colors. But anyway, I just taught you primary, secondary and tertiary. And also I taught you about the complementing colors and other things. But what happens is history part. History part. I also don't do very deeply. I don't know like you're saying this Newton's in theory and all these things, right? I don't know. I know about the color wheel. I know about the color wheel.
Yeah. Why I have added this because like there are lots of confusion that from where we are getting the black and from where we are getting the white.
Okay. Okay.
So just because it is derived from the light.
Okay.
Maximum light is white and maximum dark is black.
Okay.
So that is why the black and the white doesn't considered as colors.
Color wheels and okay. Okay.
Okay.
Hey, I will surely work in the presentation next time. Thank you for this feedback because in my earlier presentation also I did not had this point.
No. I have checked many of the websites. They are adding these things in into that. But we have learned it earlier.
No, that's okay. Very good. So I will add it.
But.
But it's. It's little new for me. I have not thought about this thought process. But anyway, thank you. I'll add it.
Okay.
Don't worry about that. Good. And also guys, this ppt, I really missed it. I had a beautiful PPT where actually colors is fine. But the end of the day you should know the functional colors, right? To be very honest, I missed that ppt. I don't know what visual to show because I. I took all the colors, I took all the cultures. Like let's say red represents love for certain culture, right? Red represents blood for certain culture. Like red means alert, caution, danger. Green represents some meaning. So the functionality of the colors. I had a very, very detailed 60 slide PPT. It's not there in front of me. Okay, it's fine. I'll teach you some other day. It's not a problem. But at least you guys are getting to know basics of colors. Is that okay? That much is enough.
Okay.
I. It's my fault the PPD was completely missed. I mean, I realized that I had some in between. We had two sessions in colors.
Okay.
What I'm showing you is a little second part of it. The first part comes with a little basics. But anyway, the coolest website, whatever I opened and showed you, that's what is there in the first part of the presentation also. But you guys can first try with the color wheel. Because the color wheel is ultimately important. We will Learn much deeper about the colors. Once we touch, hands on and then we do this watercolors and other things. And then you try to paint it. You do it with small swatch also. You don't have to build a very big small swatch and try to do it. Then you will understand a little bit and then you come. Then we'll talk about more of accent colors. We'll talk about more of how we can able to create a small kind of variation in your whole picture or the image to create more harmonious and more rhythmic and also make it more functional. It's not just that functionality is even more important. Because when you take some of the billboards and when you take some of the highway, what you call name boards and signages, colors play my major, major and vital role. Okay? In fact these pictures and all I had it in that pbd. Okay, so many of the highways and boats you will have red color. Sorry, you will have green color in our country, right? In Indian context. But. But in the abroad mostly it will be blue. Have you observed that it will be blue? Mostly it will be like a sky of the sky color. Because it should not distract you. Imagine if you have red color. What happens people while they're driving when they see red color, it is too much distracting for them. They can't drive very peacefully. And also have you seen many people in the industry in the heavy earth moving equipments and other things. Have you seen yellow colors usage? Can somebody tell me why it is there as yellow colors?
That is a color of giving confidence.
Confidence for what?
And we can. We can just see if a yellow color is like it's the first bright color where we can get an attention of it. Like attention is okay.
Attention is fine. Attention red is even more. It is a wavelength high color. Yellow is not that high, sir. Letters are clearly visible on it. There is a letters are clearly visible on it. No, no, that's okay. People in the earth moving equipments and heavy lifting use yellow. Why? Who's that guy in the transport who do one project? No current. Karan, are you here? Have you seen in the transportation industry, heavy lifting industry, they use this yellow color. Very simple psychology. Guys don't think much. You will not get the answer. Okay, you guys are going technical. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm asking you a little basic why it's being used yellow color for you. Okay, Warm colors. Fine, I'll tell you guys. Wait. See like let's say if I have a box, if I have to really Lift that box.
Okay?
If I really have to lift that box, like let's say it is 10 or 15 kg in weight, okay? And you guys are lifting that. So what will happen is over the time you will feel little heavy or maybe by, by, by going and taking that, you know, it's a 15 kilogram. Psychologically, you will be having a programming saying 15 kilograms. Means I have to, to exert this much of pressure. But, but when you have yellow color on that box, paint it, you will not feel it like 15 kg. Why you, you, you look at it. You, you look at the, you look at the color psychology and study about it. You'll know about it.
Okay?
There is a psychological reason why certain colors are being put like that. The reason is. Have you seen in the, in the, in the hospitals, doctor, we are blue color. Have you seen in the mental hospitals people wear green color? What happens? Color psychology plays a very, very vital role. And when that particular object is yellow in color, you will not exert that much of feel. You. You lift it, but you will not feel like 15kg. You'll feel like at least 10kg or 12kg. A little bit, little bit lower. Why? Because the color psychology plays a huge role in perception and taking action. Because we all lift the object based on the calculation what we have. See, like let's say how many of you have read this book? Maybe you guys have not read it. I'm not sure. Cradle to cradle. Have you read that book? Cradle to cradle. See, that book is actually this much size. Okay, this one size. But the moment when I gave that book to you, no, you will receive it, but you will feel very low. Because the book is damn heavy. The density of the book is very heavy compared to the normal books that was made in the recyclable plastic. Each and every page is a plastic there. That book is at least three, four times heavier than the normal book. So the moment when I give book to you, what will happen? Like let's say if I'm giving to Shashank, Shashank will think he will use only one hand. Because he knows that in one hand he can lift it. But if the. Because the book is three to four times weight. Hey, check this. Why did it tell me this is heavy? See, if the object is heavy, if the object is intentionally kept heavy for some reason or maybe for functionality reason, you should communicate to the user, hey, this is heavy. Hey, this is lightweight. And when you use these colors, like let's say yellow, like let's say this colors, this makes the person Also hey, this is. This is somewhat easy to lift. I can do it. And then the person will automatically change the perception inside the brain chemicals, brain signals. And then the entire body, the movement, the physiology of your entire anatomy will change in order to lift that weight. Many head moving equipments and heavy industries use yellow color. Go and watch that the colors the uniform, the. The. Even the caution boards. Caution board is different. That's red. That's yellow. That's. That's different. But go and read about it. And also same goes for the mental hospital. Because the green color calms you down. Then why don't they dumbles yellow.
Actually I would like to add here.
Sure.
See, the red color is perceived through a long distance. That can be seen through a long distance.
Correct.
But in case of weather, climatic conditions or if the in case of an inclement weather this yellow is mean more prominent. And see we'll get the visibility. Since I worked on with a project which has an yellow and blue I am able to explain this. Nothing more than that. And like in case of like see. Like see that the vehicle of yellow is coming from a farm for a far area we can see that yellow object being. Some. Some object is being there. Okay. And but the red. Red vehicle may look at even more burning to the eyes. So that's why in like in other countries the school vans will be painted with yellow. Since it says that okay. There is something important in that. And like school vans, college.
Okay, okay, okay I understand.
Like that it says so I don't know this see it. It is the first visible bright thing in the color of this. Like it is in the color shade. It is the first visible color in VIPJR also that is the first visible.
I know one thing. The wavelength of the red is high so we can easily find it. That's what I've been seeing. And. And yellow to a certain extent see it depends on the background color also Aishwarya. It also depends on the ambient color. As you rightly mentioned the climatic conditions. So maybe yellow hits a really sweet spot. That's why certain things are being perceived as yellow color. But that is one. One what you call perspective. But there are many other context also to it. Like let's say where that bus is going. Like let's say in the highway. Like let's say where that bus needs to be spotted for an important reason. Like let's say if the people are coming and mostly what happens for the school buses is the priority is given for the safety reason the yellow color. It means the college buses, school bus, kids really onboard that. So that color coding is functionally good for the people also too. Take a little caution, okay? The police guy will know this is. This is a yellow board. This is a taxi. This is a school bus. This is a college bus. You understand, right? And if it's a. If it's a normal government bus, they will know that. So this colors are predominantly helping them to also also understand. Even in the tolls and other plazas and everything, people will understand. Okay, this is, this is. This one, this one. Okay, fine. If it's a private vehicle that has a different color. So that much understanding I have. But yeah, you're talking about a specific use case in your earlier project.
Huh?
Are you here? Yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, okay, fine. No problem. So but did you understand the color psychology? Lifting weight?
Yes.
How many of you understood that hair dryer? What we have is pink in color. Why? Why not? Why not? How many of you have seen this Robert Bose drill gun? Have you seen pink color drill bit gun or something? You can't see that because people has to get alert that this is really, really heavy. This is really damn heavy. Like if I have to really go and take even the texture. Okay guys, I have the beautiful ppt. Guys, I'm extremely sorry. I had everything put. I'm literally taking out whatever is there in my mind and I'm explaining. Okay, but fine, we'll do it some other day. Don't worry.
Okay.
So that particular gun, the texture, the color, the material, everything conveys that. Hey, I am not lightweight. I am damn heavy. Please lift it carefully because that's a. That's a. That's a communication from the designer that. Hey, this is. Damn him. Are you gu. Getting it? Like let's say if it's a hair dryer, it's like this.
What do you call it is basically like giving you a feel.
Yes.
So which is like acting in your psychology.
Correct. Perfect.
That is the thing like when you are going to somewhere and what you are seeing. So that is important how you are feeling.
Yes, yes, yes. And how you as a designer make the other person feel. That's what you have to talk. Sumana, we are not a spectators, right? We are not now spectators. We are constructing the colors. We are understanding the psychology and we are trying to take about it. You can say you can take all the brands like let's say the banking, the Social Security, the travel, everything has a blue in color. Blue is actually for safety trust. Have you seen the SBI logo? State bank Of India.
Okay.
SBA. And they've changed the logo. It's like a keyhole.
Okay.
Safety locker. Okay, fine. So many, many colors are something associated like that. Particularly this. This green colors. Green colors is mentally soothing and calming. That's why in the hospital sometimes the bed color and bed covers are green in color. Have you seen many people have white also. That's okay. But green has a much mental comedy will come down like. Yeah, go ahead.
Bed color, bed sheet colors, cartons.
Ah, curtains. Another thing.
Right.
So some people see. We can't see any gradient colors in the hospital. Right. Mostly it will be primary colors block colors because they have to convey the meaning clearly. They can't have too much of gradation and other paint and other things and other. In. Even in the walls of the hospital it's been conveyed very clearly. What are the color they want? Shashanka's type will over the year usage of the cull with heavy missionary and the hazard associated with this alter the person of the color yellow. I'm not sure here. I'm not a. I'm not doing any research here. But you can. You can definitely read about that.
Okay.
I checked it out and it says yes. So people nowadays, especially in India, when you are riding on the roads, you see the tipper lorries which are yellow color. You immediately associate it with accidents and things specifically in states like Kerala and everything you associated with accidents. So yeah, it does affect psychology. See, in Jewish culture, this red color is. This black color is perceived as a very lucky color. How many of you. How many of you are getting little surprised?
Okay, I would like to add one thing. Yeah, this I would like to add on thing before I forget it. Sorry to bung you.
No problem. No problem.
Please, please.
This is like. See, I just recently understand. I. I recently got to know that in universities and colleges where the attention and the focus requires like in a larger time than the school and even the school also requires the focus and retention. People are now using green boards rather than blackboards.
Makes sense. Totally makes sense. Very good example.
And that to the. The accent of the green board is like slightly the grayish that grayish the color. We have not the least green or.
Because you're using white color chalk on top of it, right?
Yeah, yeah. It should be also visible. So this is the. This is what the psychology and people have now started to use the green boards frequently in all the schools and colleges. And now the blackboards have been replaced to some extent.
Very good observation. How many of you can relate to aishwarya's example.
How many of you can relate black and white is the maximum contrast. So to reduce the contrast they use green. So that it will be eye soothing.
And. And you should not use always 100 color guys.
Okay?
If you're using black, never use 100 black. That's not really recommended as well.
Okay.
Even some of the big prominent brands, they use 85% max. Some of the best editorial magazines like let's say you can take this, what you call this India today or whatever you guys are seeing that good editorial design magazines, the scores magazine, you take the physical copy and go through it. You'll see that the 80 to 85% black only they use. And also they'll not use pure white. They'll use 85 to 90%. Beyond 90%, it's very unprofessional to use. You can't use pure white. Pure black. That's like you will get strain in your eyes. Same like what Sumana said. Aishwarya said now the strain will be little higher. So now that's why the shift is happening.
Okay?
And also you can take many examples. Particularly it's not about also colors, guys. Theoretically we may learn it. Really practical, really good. But practically you will have to feel it. I told you, right? Like let's say the product, whatever you guys are designing. Like let's say if. If the particular object. Imagine if you guys are eating chapati in red color.
Okay?
Many people eat red also. What do I say if you eat in pink color? Have you guys eaten chapati in pink color? Food industry plays a lot of psychology with colors, okay. It's actually called. There is one terminology for gastro. Gastro. What about that? Astrophysics. There is something name for it, okay. Beetroot. Chapati. That's what Shashank. I feel very uncomfortable to eat that. Not because of the taste, it's because of the color. We have not been used to that, right? How many of you know our color is skin brown? We get sexually attracted because of the brown color of our skin. That's a universal thing. Our soil is brown. Our skin is brown. We've been seeing our body naked for a lot of time. More than wearing dresses. I'm saying about the evolutionary. Not just now. In the last. What do you call last? 20,000, 30,000 years. I'm not talking about. I'm talking about before. I'm talking about the billion years of evolution. We used to see brown a lot. We used to see blue a lot. We used to see green a lot. Because these are the natural colors which has been imbibed inside us.
Okay?
So that's why the kind of attraction is very high for the brown. That's why coffee is brown color. I mean, the coffee what we drink is brown chocolate. They take it as a brown. You feel very, very what you call comfortable to eat chocolate, which is brown in color more than the white chocolates. How many of you have felt that we have covered this in the universal design in the day 60 or 65, I think you guys can watch that. It's a little interesting. Course we have covered this part alone there. And you can see the soil is brown in color. And many of the prominent eatables and other things, they will have it as a brown. Please go and check it. Red, yellow, pink, green. I don't think many eatables are like that. You guys can go and check it out. If it is there also, it will be there for phytonutrients. How many of you know phytonutrients? If you guys are taking vegetables, like let's say veggies, veggies should be there in that color only. Like let's say three to four veggies.
If you take, okay, mostly it will.
Be in different, different colors.
Okay?
So if you take that phytonutrient, this is also going to bring a good health to your condition. Saying the balance of all what is outside you, like, let's say you are the environment, right? The air, the sunlight, everything what you breathe, you are the outcome of it. So if you guys are also consuming the same nature of whatever is there in your environment, like let's say if you're staying in us, you have to consume food accordingly. If you're staying in the southern climate of India, where this is also a little sunny as well as windy, as well as a very, very tropical season, what we have. So you will have to consume the food accordingly. So nature also pretty much tells you that whichever color is available for you, that will be more likable for you. You will not like the colors which is there in the abroad and that is actually imbibed inside us. So there is always a kind of attraction with respect to food, with respect to the opposite gender, with respect to certain colors for us. So you will have to first understand what is our culture and what is our personal liking. Because many people are coming from a different culture and different background. So you just know about that first, because I told you, in Jewish culture, the black is considered as a very good color. But same if you go for the Hindu culture black is considered as really bad for the death. They put this black even. No even. Even till date for any function. I like this black color. Okay, I go and buy it. I will buy that shirt for 1000 rupees or 1500 rupees. My mother will fight with me. She will tell don't wear that. I got this for this function only. It looks really good for me. No, you wear it some other day. Not now.
You.
I got really lot of. I used to take it away and put some other color in one important function. I got to the shop and I got 15 minutes back on Grey color shut. Because they don't like that. Because it's very, very disrespectful. Also they consider. Okay, we have to respect the culture. That's very important. Okay, we'll have to. We should not think we know everything.
Okay.
We should also respect the people and we should also understand why they are saying like that. Okay, so that is most, most important. That is why if you are a designer, if you are having the responsibility of being designing some meaningful products around it, I would always ask you to consider your. What you call your culture first, your nature, your habitat. Because we are all born and brought up from that. We cannot ignore that part. We cannot. Just like that say in one day, hey, I will become a super duper designer. No, that is okay. But that is also important to understand and respect your culture. And same goes for your client as well. Your client will come up with one context. Your client will say hey, your client may be from different culture. Like let's say your client may be from interiors of. Of Bihar or maybe your client is from uk. Okay, so you have to understand what are they really trying to expect? They will not tell you. Why would they tell you? You will have to understand this user's Persona. What are the colors they've been using. And if you guys open this, this, this color wheel and there is one tool, Adobe Color Wheel. Okay, how many of you use Adobe Color Wheel? I think it Adobe color wheel are in the Google colors. There is some option. You guys can know what amount of percentage of the people are using this color in the different, different geographies. More than 50 people use this color.
It.
It is there in the Google fonts for typeface but I'm sure for color also it is there I remember seeing somewhere. Okay, so you guys can know in which culture this colors and typeface are used. Most like let's say 55% Africans use this particular blue shades and this particular colors or this Particular typeface. So you guys, when you're designing for an African client, you guys can understand that maybe you don't like blue. That's okay. But it doesn't mean that you have to hate that particular color, right? So that's why don't wear that tags with you being a designer. We've been brought up from a culture. But you should also celebrate the others and also be in neutral field.
Okay.
So then your understanding towards color will grow high. Then your perception and consciousness towards seeing the different colors will go really, really high. And from here you guys take it up. You guys think about it. You guys think, okay, what colors is better for my application? Like let's say Shashank team is designing this age elderly people, right? So you associate what colors will be used for that? Like let's say if you're designing for a localite. Like let's say in Bangalore or other places. Or like let's say if you're designing in for the UK based age old people. So what are their color really? Like what are the preference of this color? These people, like the Scandinavian people use white and black a lot. Can somebody tell me why I think I asked you this question long back.
Did you guys find that answer because of winter? So there they are.
Excellent. How did you find this answer? Tell me that. I wanted to tell. How did you find this answer?
No, no, no.
I. I long read about Ikea. So how this Scandinavians maintain balance? Predominantly it is winter is their season. And again morning when you wake up.
You only see snow in front of you.
Okay.
12 o' clock, some sunlight will come. They'll see sunlight 3 o' clock again Darkness will come. So they are only seeing these two colors for the entire life, guys. So why will they be. Why will they put a lot of different colors? And that has become like a minimalism trend. I don't know why Kanda has exactly got the answer. Super Kanda. So read about this guys. So you will.
You will know one more fact. As you are talking about black.
No.
When men's we are black, the house people will scold us. But if they are going for any functions, the woman will put Kajal and everything. Those are all black only.
Yes, yes. Kanda, come on here. Kanda is putting on debate now. Here. Okay, good. So yeah, we can debate on all these things. Not a problem at all.
Okay.
Even I would say sometimes the collar has the black color.
No.
Like maybe a button is a black color. We can talk about it a lot. But it doesn't matter if Somebody decides in our house, then we will have to.
So basically, in our culture, we use black to shy away evil things. So for babies and other stuff, they use to put kajal and other stuff. So black is something that they say that they will show availables. But when you should not wear black shirt.
Why?
I do not know.
I don't know why. Even for the. For my kid.
No.
So they put this. What is that? They recently did one thing which I really didn't like. So. No, no, no, not this context. So there is one particular culture, Kanda like. I don't know exactly the ethnic race. Like it was. It was in a museum. I saw this. Okay, so there were certain people who are very attractive. These women were very attractive. Very attractive.
Okay?
So what happens is in that, in that ethnic, ethnic culture, the men were trying to take advantage of that and then they're trying to create a misbalance and imbalance in that particular thing. Okay, because the sexual harassment, not in this context, I'm saying very, very long back, okay, in the age olden days where people are just wearing some leaves and other things in there that women, particularly that ethnographic women are very, very attractive. So what happens? The problem is happening. So this particular olden women, what they did is let's try to deliberately create a. What you call. Reduce the beauty of that woman. How? By putting some kind of nostrils like this. By putting some kind of a bindi with a very, very big. They try to reduce the sexual appeal of the women low. Because what happens because of that? Because of that the sexual crimes really came down. Surprisingly, it came down okay. No police, no military, nothing is there at that time.
Right.
So women has took this approach. I would say that person who has thought about is an excellent design thinker. She has solved the problem and they deliberately did that.
One more point I wanted to add is being in an equatorial region here in India, the tire. The climate is basically very hot in human.
Right?
So black color tends to attract absorb heat.
Correct, Correct, correct.
That's why people are straining us to wear black, because body will become very heat. That would be directly opposite to the Western culture there. So black is one good option where it will retain heat.
Yes.
So there are some use cases also.
Like this functionality use case. What you said is perfectly right. See, my father always imbibed this into.
Some kind of taboo or something. But if you dive deep, there will be some real good meanings behind it.
Of course, of course. See how many of you observed Aurobindo Ghosh, Arbindo Sri Aurobindo in Auroville and mother they all wear white. You know why? Because white is very very hard. Not just peace and calm, it also observes your heat. Have you seen many Rishis and Munis? They wear this heat, this white. Because they take the advantage of if your body is not having heat. Like let's say if you're head to toe, your body is very calm. Your thought process will be very, very different. You'll be far more creative. You'll be in a far more focused way. Let's say if you stand in front of the Sun 12:00 if I ask you to ideate scamper method, will you guys do it?
There is another reason behind it. All the spiritual gurus. And if you see those.
Yeah.
So we have seven chakras in our body. So it is like represents seven colors in our body.
Correct.
It is starting from red and it is like ending towards white which is this.
Can you take one presentation for this? Seven colors, seven chakra. You have a content with you. You have some knowledge around it.
I have to take it.
So next Saturday can you take a small presentation in inner circle call? Is it okay for you? Maybe we can discuss after that. But you can tell about your color knowledge with some examples, pictures. Particularly this chakra. It was very new for me as well. I don't know this. Can you take it?
Yeah, sure.
That would be really, really connecting for many people.
Sure.
Because we know the connect of the colors.
Right.
Adding to someone there is in mythology also we have some depiction of colors.
Aishwarya is willing to talk but Aishwarya's Internet is not.
Yes. So every deity has a like particular color. So that gives you the same feel of that deity. And the extreme is like white. So there is a concept of like three different types which is like Rajasik, Tamasik and Swatik. So I don't know all these things.
Anyway, enlighten us. Come on. In the Saturday.
The Swatik is completely like which gives you a like cooler effect. If you go to any temple you will get Swathik food.
Yeah.
Which like cools down your like all emotion. All these things. So that color is white.
Yes, yes.
Actually there are many yogas also guys like yoga snaas. I went for this yoga session. They said even if you are staying in the middle of the hottest temperature, there are certain asanas which you can do. It will make you feel very, very like. Let's say you are in the coldest region in the Kashmir. In the middle of the Kashmir. I don't know. Like they are activating this chakra. What particularly Sumana was talking about. Colors also play a major role. If you wear a color with that particular dress.
Okay.
You will have a more perception towards linking that particular analogy.
Okay.
We had a. We had a color day. Guys. In our. In our. In our college.
Are we planning to buy any island?
Island?
Why you are not connecting the dots?
Why?
Why tell me?
You know someone spiritual has already bought an island. No.
Oh guys please. My mission is very different. Guys, don't change.
My mission, okay.
Is a very small part of it. Let's not go into that. We can talk all about these topics and all these things very deeply. My. My. My guru. My. My. My mentor used to say one thing.
Okay.
We can talk all about this. Politics, these topics and everything. If you have 30,000 crores in your bank account you can talk about all these topics. If you don't have it first go and work to make it. Don't talk all this other. Because all these things will be pull you and distract you away. We will not come into the track. I understand. It will be very interesting to talk over a coffee or all these things will drag our time. But end of the day it will. Dayal is typing. Men will be men. They are very typing like this. This guy is very crazy.
What brand are you using? Which. Which ad comes this. This blue color papers are.
Ah.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. I forgot. Imperial blue.
Imperial.
Imperial blue. Correct. Imperial blue. Okay fine. Don't watch that. Okay. Don't watch.
Dial's brand is imperial blue. I think soon even that. For that sake even if you see your camera you are surrounded with the blue colors. Right?
Exactly. Exactly.
So again whatever lightings will affect your appearance.
Yes.
Yes.
I think it is more like you are using an yellow light.
So.
And again blue and yellow will change the mood. So now you are feeling very greenish.
Yeah. I'm feeling little what you call warm.
Okay.
I don't know. Like I have this in my home There is a 64 RGB color LED. I can change it in the remote. Whatever color I want. That will create a different emotion. Even my mentor know when he tells if you have inner circle call try to have a different color. He's saying I don't know. Like he has gone very deep into it. He said if you're having a morning sessions try to have a different color when he does it. Whenever I go to the his session.
No.
I feel completely into that. Soaked into it. Like I don't really get distracted and not Just for me, for everybody. I'm saying that is. Again.
Again I'm saying so if even in your marriage albums or anyone's marriage albums, if you see they will add a little bit of orange and red skin.
Correct.
Make you no pop and distinct.
And come out of it.
Come out of it. So that is there again and again colors will play a very important role.
Okay, let's do one thing, Kanda.
Okay.
So today inner circle call is going to be very special. Guys. How many of you know this? Today's inner circle call is going to be very important information and I'll tell you that. But I want everybody to wear blue color in the today's inner circle call. Can we do it? Shashank, change another T shirt and come.
Okay.
This is okay. One blue is good. Hey D. That is not blue. Can we try this guys? Or maybe which color you want? Tell me which color we can have. I should have which color we can have Sumana. One common color. Black.
Black.
You can have much of radiation, sir. See, I'm going to teach you this hues also with that color variation. That's what I'm trying. And then we can. Which we can teach tint. We can teach shade around that.
Okay.
See this should be. I mean I have to teach something also, right? It's not like you're just like that bearing. So try to wear as. As. Yeah. White. White. How do I. White. Everybody's saying white here. What is that? White. See? White. We can't show variations. No, in the. In the black. And what do I say?
Since you talked about religion and other.
Stuff, I needed blood taping this. White. What would I teach in white here? Do I have a content to teach?
Contains every color.
Yeah.
When you spin this color, all these things is. Okay guys, eight standard experiment.
So any color you can pick up.
White. What do I. I don't have any content. You guys are coming with one color, are you?
Do one thing. Separate the people into three groups. Ask them to wear the.
It is very difficult because the communication will not spread really, really high. I will do one thing. I'll put one video in the. In the group now.
Okay.
But you guys also take responsibility to tell your team. But let's do one thing. Let's. Let's. Let's target primary colors.
Yeah, I'm good.
Fine. Kandam, can we do. Yeah, but what happens is if a lot of people don't come in the call. No. Then we will be looking like a kitchen of a color wheel. We can't create a color wheel. Out of it. There is one mode in the zoom.
Okay.
I'll create something together mode. What we'll do is we'll arrange the people in the color wheel.
Okay.
We'll try to create a color wheel out of it. But I don't know if everybody screws up. Are they Jagdish? You said blue.
Okay.
I thought. I thought indigo blue here Obvious.
I cannot have the same blue as Shank is wearing. Or the same red.
That's all. That's what the one color. It will be very understanding. Like let's say white means. See from white to black can we have. But that will be two normal guys. If you have a hues, it will be very interesting. We can also show tint and shades around it. That's what I'm thinking. One color. But you remember in our school days.
Our school uniform shirt used to be white. But in course of time while washing it using Ujala blue. Okay. So that is the kind of blue that we will have. Eventually it has to whiten it. But it slowly it will tell to blue tint.
Okay.
Okay. Correct. Makes sense. Tactical, right? Yes. Yes.
Yes.
So today evening guys, we'll do one thing. We'll wear primary colors.
Okay.
You choose rgb. Whether you wear red.
Green.
My canvas becomes blue. Canvas shoe becomes blue. Very true. Very true. Mine also I can relate to you, Shashank. My mother. What she'll do? She'll put the canvas inside that dip. My father will get irritated.
They will argue it. And they will argue it. If you say blue. No, it is white. Pure white. What are you now it has become very. You know.
My father gets irritated when my mother too much. All of his white bunions. My father is white color.
That unique ad like Uska white. Mere white says.
And I heard this word. But I heard this ad. But I've not seen it in the Tamil context. In our. In our advertisement. Can somebody tell me that. That there is a song.
No.
For that Ujala. That advertisement. There is one rhythm and tone for that as well. Can you remember Shashank, that again I.
Would suggest people to watch older ads. So they will connect more. And they have a lot of sense to it. Then there is an ads.
Correct. Correct. Correct.
Whatever ads that they produce, they had some value to it. People have to watch.
I mean definitely. Definitely. Thank you for reminding this Kanda. Wonderful. Yes. Can you remember that? See when you. When you associate that song that thing comes in. You're not able to get it right. Yeah, I can actually Washing powder Nirma. No, that Is different. That is Nirma. That is different.
To an extent. Blue color has associated wood.
Yeah.
Somebody is saying it. I think somebody said char that Hindi. Exactly.
Yeah.
Everything will be really nice, guys. Okay. See, we all associate blue color, right? With that. See, there is a strong association. Why Certain brand also takes that. Certain brands fix on that color. And then they also create a song around it. And then they want you to also resonate with that. See, that's why we are talking about this 15 years before commercial.
And even their packaging used to be blue and white. Nothing else.
Exactly. Superb. So think about it guys. Because colors is not joke. Colors is not just emotional. Colors is like part of us. We will have to understand. And it's up to you to first understand the basics of colorway. First try to do this color wheel activity today. I would highly recommend. Second try to wear RGB colors in today's class. Don't wear RGB in one shirt itself.
Okay.
And don't make fun here. Pick any one RGB colors here.
Okay.
Maybe we'll split it into three teams here. Is it fine? Two teams can be a red color.
Yeah.
That's what one team can. Two teams can be a red color. Another two teams can wear green color. Another two teams can wear blue color. What do you guys say?
Yellow, sir.
Not green. Rgb, right?
Yeah.
Red. Yellow colors.
We can.
Yeah.
Rgb. You can build it here. Very simple. Let's start with RGB.
No.
2. Two teams. But I don't know. Like the population is very high. Means it will look really good. And Green. Red.
Red.
Blue.
Yellow.
Red. Rgb.
Okay.
So you guys pick out which color you want. Can you type out all the team leaders in the group after this call?
Okay.
Type out which color you want. Like let's say if you wanted to put like your team name is eco form. Put eco form. Red color. That's it.
If you.
You guys are not assigning then I will assign whoever is there in the team. Gandha is two teams.
Shashanker is blue.
Okay.
Take it. No problem. Aishwarya, you are which part of the team. Ramraj, you're in which team? Chitra, you're in which team? Sameer, you're in which team? Shivraj. Ownkar, Jayanandani. Punish.
No, I think Jagdish. What we will do is that. Because we cannot ask people to wear something which do not have. Let them go to their wardrobe check whatever color they have let them bear. Then we will break the group break based on that color.
No. Let's try to fix creative 1.
All are creative here. Now let them decide how they will like.
That's what I'm saying. Let them go. Because I see if you. If. If you ask me, my family color would be green and blue. No matter wherever. And whichever dress I select, there will be astrology that it is imbibed in me. I will not choose a red. I will not have a red. Because that is how I have been traditionally mold. Okay.
That you.
Any of you can check. You will go there. You will see some design. But when you see some color that your family is traditionally buying. No. You will be more inclined to it.
Correct. Correct. And also I told you, you can.
Check your wardrobe also now.
Yeah, yeah. That is fine. That is fine. But we are creative.
But you will not have a reason to justify it. Why I selected this color. Why this is coming. Okay, See, that is what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that let them wear whatever color they have. Let them come. Then we can segregate into the group. All greens. Go.
I'll be getting angry at you.
Let's create a fun here. So each and everybody is creative here.
Okay?
So let's play with that humor that if you have. If you don't have any such color. So how will you like wear it? You have to wear something, right?
Put on bed sheet and come do it. Yes. Sumana. Sumana. But this is inside the activity.
Okay.
That we will do it on the moment. Don't worry. You can do it.
Okay.
But to come prepared for the class, people can choose their colors that Kanda said. Let's see. We are going to learn color wheel through your dresses. So we are as variety as possible. Should I tell like that, Kanda?
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, fine. Let me put the message like that. Okay, guys, something interesting is coming now. So Sameer has shared one video. Okay. I want everybody to listen to this.
Insta violet concentrate.
Supreme.
Thank you. Sameer, how did you take this? I will give you a separate award for this. How did you find this?
Then you should give mens or points for men are men also.
Hey guys, go and mark your attendance. Class is going to end in next few minutes.
Okay.
I'm adding points for Sameer also for this. And I've been doing it for manually for certain people. Okay, Sameer. Okay, guys, yesterday I approved all of your assignments. Did you check that? And certain people, certain repeat proofs are coming. But I have. I've considered that also. And I've also asked you to send it to me personally. Please do so. Please Mark attendance for me also I couldn't mark, right. Actually. Hey, what's happening here? Only Meghna has this problem. You also have a. But can you tell me one thing? You are logging in the same email ID right when you purchase this program?
Yeah. And one more thing from my side. My email is not getting verified. So that has been a long time. When I send asked to send verification link, it is not sending to my email. But apart from that I don't have.
Go to the trash. Go to the trash.
I checked it also in spam and everything.
Okay, leave it. It's not a big deal. But your courses and other sections are working, right?
Yeah, that is working.
That's okay. Fine. You leave that. Because already for the make. Now we told our backend team. They also shared. He also shared one video. It works for me always. Today I forgot to mark. Actually today you forgot to my. Right now there you are. Go to the feed section. No, it's available.
Is there.
Refresh it. Refresh. Refresh. Refresh. You will get it all right. Every day you're marking means that's your. That's not a problem. Make now has a very unique. Yes sir. Got it.
Okay.
See what happens is our platform builders, they are not a live platform. Like let's say it will immediately not come to you. You'll have to refresh it. Because it's a very stable and built with lot of considerations. It is not unlike a premium host like where automatically updates will happen every second by second. That's not the case. Sometimes you'll have to manually refresh it.
Okay.
Even for the people who registered, sometimes I'll have to refresh it. Generally I'll know who has come inside the program. So that's a problem for me as well.
Okay.
So just. Just go to the refresh and do it. If you're not able to get it then you reach out to me. I'll help you.
Okay.
Oh. I gave comments as Blue Ujala. Okay, I'll change it. No problem. Thank you. Yes, yes, yes. And also guys, please mark your attendance. And what about me? My camera was not working. Ramraj, that is not related to the platform. That is related to your hardware issue. So today how will you come to the class? Ramraj?
Then.
That'S what my issue was. I will tell you one good idea. If you're having issue with your laptop, join in your mobile. In your mobile there is an option to join and join as a hostman. Join in the meeting.
Okay.
You can find the Zoom integrated install Zoom application In your phone and join there. Keep two things. Keep your laptop as mute and everything. Or maybe mic open. You can use your camera as your mobile camera. That's enough. That's a best.
We have an app called irm. Okay, yeah, I already told about that here.
EDM is not that stable. Please don't use that. You can use Camo Studio. C A M O Studio Iran will crash your system many times. It's not a very solid software. You can use Camo Studio. Use the free version. You don't have to pay for the premium. You can use 1080 pixel also in that it will come automatically.
Okay. In case if I forget, I'll just add if it is possible. For the inner call with Sumana, I have something to add her as I've read something with the religious text which says compliments to the colors and all. I was trying to say this but my connection was making me know.
That's okay.
You have Sumana's contact, right? You can talk to her. She will be more than happy to help you. Okay, all the best. Thank you. If anything is relating to the functionality and context of design which is going to help our community, please be open to tell in the inner circle call. I'll be opening up the mic for you. Okay, fine. Guys, we are coming to the end of this session, but we have just started learning colors. To be honest, there are a lot of things in the color functionality of the colors I've not even touched. I'll take you as a separate session, don't worry. And today I thought of teaching you typeface as well. But it's fine, we can cover that. And the next two days you guys are going to build some screens and visuals out of it, okay? Because we have, we have a little bit taken. The colors, the basics, but you will connect the dots tomorrow and day after and you will know it.
Okay?
I wish you all the best, guys. Take care. Any doubts, Is there anything which you have to get clarified? Please pull all of your teammates for the today's inner circle call. Very, very important information. Okay, we have a mystery guest that is okay, but we have a very, very important information to really put on.
Okay?
So come up with a notepad and pen and you need to take a lot of action today live also with me. And there are certain things which you have to go and buy today. Okay, I'll tell you what is that things we have to go to stationary and buy it because from January we are starting up something very, very interesting, guys.
Okay?
And I'll tell about that interesting activity and many people have asked me that. So that's why. Okay, so join on time at 6 o'.
Clock.
I see you there, guys. Okay, take care. Bye.
Bye.
All the best. Have a great day. Market and leave the call.
Okay?
Yeah. Because if the call ends, you will not. Don't forget to. Thank you, sir. Basically you have to go go to that section below the video. You have a green color button saying mark attendance. Just click on present. Yeah. Mark me present.
Yes.
It's done. Thank you.
Awesome.
Anything else, guys? Doubts is there?
Okay.
I think people are doing it. Thank you guys. If you can leave the call. If you guys have marked the attendance, that's it. Because if I end the call, then it will automatically close for everybody.
Okay.
I've given you more points because it's a weekend, right? You guys are coming. Enjoy. Month end will be announcing two winners. Top two. Not just points. With all the behavior and aspect and everything. Don't worry, it will be selected.
