7 Deals in a Week → Now How Do I Scale?

In this raw one‑to‑one coaching session, Jake Setterlun and Tyler mentor Jonathan, a member of their 4,000‑plus agency community who just closed seven deals in a week. Jonathan’s new challenge is handling the surge of new clients: creating GoHighLevel (GHL) funnels, launching ad campaigns, and managing backend operations. Jake and Tyler walk him through a step‑by‑step scaling framework: hiring a media‑buyer or backend specialist, building SOPs and training videos (leveraging AI‑generated outlines and Loom recordings), delegating onboarding via ClickUp and GHL, using GPT‑based knowledge bases for repeatable processes, and testing higher pricing tiers while monitoring profit margins. They also discuss resource sharing (media‑buyer courses, bid‑strategy videos), future hiring of sales staff, and the importance of keeping systems streamlined for continued growth. The conversation ends with actionable next steps and encouragement for Jonathan to keep iterating.

In this video today, we're going to be pulling back the curtain and I'm going to be showing you a raw one-to-one conversation that I had with one of our members inside of our community of over 4,000 agency owners, online experts, coaches, consultants, SaaS owners that are currently scaling their businesses and their offers to $100K months. This is a one-to-one conversation. I have these every single week with members inside of the community, and I want to show you a little snippet of what these look like.
Enjoy. Doing good, man.
How are you? Fine, fine. Good news. Yeah, I've closed 7 deals this week.
Have you? Okay.
Yeah.
Well, that's great.
Yeah. Thank you.
Congratulations, man.
Thank you to Tyler too. Yeah. Where's Tyler?
Heck yeah. What have you been— same thing, ads and just, uh, done with you or doing more done for you?
I, I, I am doing the same thing that Jake and Tyler told me to do.
Yeah, let's go, bro.
So I have a new problem, and that's why I'm here today.
Okay.
I have a problem, uh, not with onboarding because I start delegating the onboarding with one of my employees, but, um, with this amount of new customers in like 2 weeks I have a problem of GHL funnels creation and the launching campaign. So I want to make a new hire with the media buyers. So my question is, you have a video especially for media buyers or any recommendation for that role?
100%. Are you still in— and let me look, Tyler, did you drop anything recently for Mediavine?
Yeah, I have 2 courses in there.
Okay.
One of them is the 5 Major Ad Campaigns, which is basically like the different types of ad campaigns from zero that you can go build, just kind of like a walkthrough tutorial. And then the other one's the Meta Ads Principles, but there's no like outsource SOP. I do have, I do have a couple assets and resources, but If you're looking for something that's like you're going to hand off to someone to train them up as a media buyer to go into your business, bro, I would, uh, I think the easiest way to do it is work with your AI, in my opinion, to kind of formulate a step-by-step outline and then, um, just go in and just start knocking out some Loom videos and just get it done in like a couple of days, bro, in my opinion.
Okay.
Yeah, the hard part is setting up the campaigns, setting up the conversion with the pixel.
Okay.
Those things.
I have those SOPs.
Cool.
Can you throw those over to Jonathan?
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Um, Jonathan, I just put— I dropped 2, um, videos in the, uh, chat as well that I would check out. One of them is a media buying overview. The other one is for bid strategies. I think, I mean, you, you've gotta be at the point now where everything is templated out, right? Like, yeah, you, you have everything. The, the biggest thing is, have you thought about where you wanna hire from?
Where?
Like, oh, are you like, have you thought about like what type of a team member? Like, do you want more of a VA that can just do a task? Do you want more of like a customer-facing type of person?
I already have a customer type person that does the onboarding with the, with the new clients and does and do the follow-up, the weekly follow-up and those things.
Gotcha.
I need more, uh, um, a, um, like a backend person.
Okay.
campaigns.
Yeah, let me, let me send you this. And then what I'm sending you now too, and you'll, you'll want to go through all of these, um, is hiring that first person. It goes through creating SOPs, the training, the reporting. 100%, I would go through that. I know it says for VAs, even if you hire, like, I mean, it works for any type of an individual. Um, that's going to be the biggest because as long as you have your templates ready to go, all you need is a training video showing them how to do everything. And then it's the management aspect of, okay, you know, my customer-facing person onboarded them. Now I need to, you know, whether you're using Monday, GoHighLevel, whatever, um, from a project management standpoint.
Mm-hmm.
Um, okay, now alert the backend person and then they'll go ahead and set them up and launch.
I use ClickUp for projects. Beautiful. Okay.
Yeah.
Okay. So it's basically the same that I did with the onboarding and delegating the onboarding. I, I, I create GPTs.
Okay.
For sure. As you guys have those GPTs that like knowledge base and I copied that idea from you.
Okay, beautiful. Awesome. Now I'm glad that works.
The answer is do the same. Okay, I will do it.
Yeah. Okay. Yeah, it needs— you're at the point now where it's just do the same thing over and over and over again.
Yeah, I know this. I noticed that I only need to spend more basically and follow the same principle that Tyler told me. taught me about ads and creatives and those things. It's kind of simple.
You sound like me now.
Yeah, I love that.
Oh, thank you guys. And you know something, I was checking another program, so those things you guys have everything about growing business and this type of business here in this, the The university.
I appreciate it. Yeah, try to. We got a lot more coming too.
Okay, so my question is answered. Thank you.
Yeah, awesome, brother.
I will keep up. I will keep coming to these calls.
Also, real quick, where should I drop it for you though, bro? Um, what, what chat? I want to do it in like the community chat somewhere. So that way everyone can see it too. And I'll put it—
actually, can you, Tyler, can you DM him on school?
Yeah, I'll do that.
I think you should because you're an admin.
Yeah. Doggy asked me what is my business. I have a marketing agency, a lead generation agency for plastic surgeons. That's it.
All right, brother. Great to hear from you.
No, thank you to you guys.
Dude, of course. Hey, I know you want that, that 2 Comma Club award. I want you to have that too, dude.
Let's go. I have some ideas for a, uh, uh, tweaking the offer, but I think it's not the time right now to do some tweaks. I think I need to do the same.
That's fair. 100%. Yeah, agreed.
Maybe to higher the price a little bit. For sure, I want to try that this week with the— with this sales call because everybody is buying so easy. I was thinking, should I— I don't know how to say that in English— should I go up with the prices? I don't know if I say it well.
How's your profit margin on the ad spend and everything?
My car is like 60% counting.
Okay, I mean, you're, you're at a really good point. It's gonna obviously get more expensive. What are you charging for the, the price right now?
500 only.
Okay, I would, I would try to increase it. And see what the resistance is. Um, bump it up a couple hundred, maybe double it, see what the, the feedback is, and then go from there.
I was gonna say double, double it, like $997.
Yeah, I was thinking to do it. Yeah, but the answer— I don't have the answer. You, you neither. The answer has to The niche or the market has the answer about that. So I need to—
100%. Yeah, just, just see what they're willing to pay. And then, um, just setting you up for the future too. I, I wouldn't— once you have a salesperson in there and it's like you're completely out, because that would be the next thing is if your backend is set, take yourself out. And then that's when I would start Potentially looking at like other offers or like that other stuff that you wanted to add in. But like, don't take your eye off the ball until it's really— I hate— it's not automated, but streamlined is maybe a better, better way to say it.
