In this segment, the speaker emphasizes the importance of constantly monitoring market advertising trends—such as VSLs, booking funnels, image, text, and video ads—to understand the current "meta" or prevailing strategy, a term borrowed from video games. The speaker warns that marketing tactics are fleeting; what works today will be replaced tomorrow, so continual adaptation is essential for a business's survival.

When you see what trends are in the market, maybe people are running VSLs to a booking, maybe people are running, you know, a specific type of ad, image ads, more text-based ads, video ads. When you're a consumer and you're actually seeing what's going on in the market and when you can see like, oh, this is working right now, or people are engaging with this, this is a new way of doing things. In video games, it's called meta. You know, what's the meta currently? What's the strategy? What is everybody doing to get a one-up? So being a consumer of advertising, marketing, you know, stay in people's drips, you know, check in on different competitors and what they're doing because that's going to help you not only, you know, ideize, you know, some things for your business, some things to try, but also help you obviously stay, you know, ahead of the curve and, you know, adapting. Because if you don't adapt, your company is just going to die as far as marketing goes. So that is one of my biggest tips as far as staying ahead of, you know, just the marketing and trends and things like that.
