Nathan removes a bee swarm by shaking the queen into a collection box, then drives them slowly to Jason at Mali Ridge Honey to be rehomed. The bees get saved instead of killed, and the rescuers get a small jar of honey for their work.

How do we take care of a swarm of bees? Well, wherever possible, we relocate them. Pest control is exactly that. We're trying to control the situation, not destroy them. So Nathan here is going to gently shake the branch that the hive are hanging onto. The queen will drop in. And that is confirmed by the marching of the bees going into that hole. They're going to follow the queen wherever they go. Except for this one, which got confused and flew into Sean's ear. But anyway, most of them have gone into the box now, so it's time. Time to take them to a local beekeeper. Look, bees are vital to our ecosystem, so wherever possible, we do relocate them to a local beekeeper. And we usually do get a nice little bucket of honey in return. So Nathan's gonna carefully load them in there and drive very slowly. It's two big thumbs up from Nathan and he's going to transport them to Jason from Mali Ridge Honey, who's going to give them a new home and they're going to get to work doing what they do best.
