A short YouTube video (creator: Jarrad Goulding) whose title states the fact that there are over 3,500 mosquito species worldwide but only a few hundred bite humans. The transcript begins with a two-person conversational prompt asking which pest they would delete from Earth, framing a light interview/banter about pests (one speaker later selects mosquitoes).

If you had to pick one pest to delete from Earth forever.
Yep.
Which one would it be?
For me, it'd probably be mosquitoes. Mosquitoes, obviously very annoying, but they're also actually quite difficult to treat as a pest controller. Being a flying insect, it's not something that we can just eliminate automatically. We can't put force fields around houses, I suppose. And then, obviously, being a mosquito, they carry a lot of diseases, so to get rid of them throughout the world, I think, would be a magical thing.
