I still make Simpsons references today that people don't understand.
All the time, man.
My brothers and I get it. Jarrod gets it. Hey, how you doing? My name's Sean. I'm the franchisor of the local guys. Pest control. I love my job. Being able to help guys start their own business from scratch. Get up to the heights that I know pest control can get to.
And how long have you had your own business?
I've had my pest control business for 10 years now. Super rewarding. Best decision I ever made. Leaving my 9 to 5 to be my own boss.
What do you like most about being your own boss?
I guess not having to answer anyone's pretty good. Get to set my own schedules. And then you feel rewarded for everything. You do the jobs that you do, the money that you earn goes into your pocket, not somebody else's.
Did you ever want to just throw in the towel and go back to a stable paycheck?
Honestly, no. I like the challenge. There are some tough times, owning your own business. I'm not going to lie about that. But me personally, I love the challenge. Being able to be my own boss and know that I'm growing something for myself, for the future is what it's all about.
